Techno Vinyl New Releases - News

2 solid tracks from Hellfish & Akira on their label “Fish rice Recordings”.

Ravers lay rotting the aftermath of the llama wars. The tyrannical all-powerful Hawk-Head llama has merged with Amun, the llama of the wind, becoming a seemingly unstoppable turntable of force. Banished from Uptempia, ancient legends Hellfish & Akira have been callously imprisoned in a phonk proof facility on Planet G. Back on earth, their descendents Fish & Rice have been tasked with returning to the home world to reclaim the throne and free all ravers. Do you have enough llama in you to join the holy vanguard, are you ready to be an umptempian?

This set of remixes is already much sought after for the incredible New Decade version of "I'll Take You". But all the remixers bring new angles to these classic tracks, making for a stellar follow up to Remixes Volume 1.

It would be impossible to measure the impact that Shades Of Rhythmhave had on the rave scene. They defined a sound while never stayingstill, with each release a progression and a move forward within theboundaries of the old school scene, and as often as not, they pushed rightthrough those restrictions into new territory altogether. This Box Setbrings together a whole list of classics, one after another, all remasteredfrom DAT. On top of that, it adds remixes from Nookie, The House Crew,Altern 8 and Blame - the last of which has already become a much soughtafter remix of a legendary track...

The Second House Crew Box Set contains a full set of absolute classics. Including the enormous hits "Euphoria (Ninos Dream) and "Super Hero" alongside epic remixes from The Criminal Minds, Nookie, Isotonik and three brand new House Crew tracks, this box set is an essential for every old skool and jungle vinyl addict!

The beautifully executed Sandman repress has some perfectly executed remixes, from some of the most talented and capable artists in the industry - and they need to be because Psychosis is a musically superior track to many of its peers, both past and present.

New Decade brings a solid toughness and perfect production on his remix, while Innercore blends his classic credentials with a more modern sound. Meanwhile, KFA regular Ponder changes it up with a d'n'b style workout. But each remix stands proud and alone, and will devastate any dancefloor!

PRSPCT Recordings and Redrum Recordz are a match made in the underground.

They bring you another groundbreaking release, this time building sonic bridges between the UK and The Netherlands.

Dutch Jungle legend Mike Redman is known for internationally spreading the Hardcore Jungle gospel as Deformer, Voodoom and under his own name since the early 90's. Recently his well received 'Roffadamn Jungle' track set international dance-floors on fire while paying tribute to the nightlife connoisseurs of bygone times, mixing UK inspired Jungle with uncompromising Rotterdam Hardcore.

This time around he's supported by the most legendary artists in the field providing stunning remixes. Such as UK Drum 'n Bass heroes Bizzy B and Ed Rush, both founders of the genre, providing remixes that knock you off your socks. He's also teamed up with hardcore legends Akira, Rotterdam Terror Corps as well as Mackadena providing that original sound of Rotterdam. Not to mention Redman's own ear-shattering remix under his alias Deformer, making this album a must-have for anyone that likes it ruff. By the way, the cover art by legendary graffiti artist Cosh is worth framing too!

2024 Reissue

EQ is a legend in the game of hardcore and rave. The former in-house engineer for Formation Records and DJ SS and the head honcho at F-Project Records, this guy has been involved in so much of the scene’s history. But around 1994 he stopped producing under the name EQ and moved onto other things. That is until now. He is back once again and reinvigorated by the popularity of the rave repress culture and has started to write new material… but in the style of the early 90’s, using lots of old skool hardware to produce his music to keep that authentic UK sound.

His first EP for nearly 30 years takes us right back to the raves of the Midlands, the music of an era. Creative sample usage, rolling breaks, kick drums… melodies and rave stabs! This EP has something for all. Not only that, he has completed his follow up EP already which is due out in 2023 and is as equally impressive.
