Transport - the new full length effort of the Borderland collaborative project - brings together a new set of studio-refined sequences aimed at colonizing some of the dark energy that pulsates through those areas that are thoroughly electrified, even if not 'on the grid'. 'Riod' is the first streak to bolt through.

The Detroit-Berlin axis triangulates to a third point which, like the atomic particle that lives in two places at once, flickers between a form of techno-charged ambience and a futuristic club-jazz which cannot be broken down into constitutive parts. Borderland remains caught in a state of enraptured stillness, invisibly moving between every
imagined future for electronic sound making. The result: a font from which springs serene and exhilarating musical ideas that vibrate with refined energy for sixty seconds in every minute.

On one hand we have Kvadrant, who is responsible for the legendary Tweak FM radio shows and owner of the Kontakt label, and the other hand we have OHM, an Icelandic-born producer who is already well known for his collaborations with Exos and Octal Industries - and regularly serves behind the decks at the legendary Culture Box in Copenhagen. Soft Armour is Christian Hougaard, a Danish producer. 'Multi Terrain' is his debut full length, after two ep's. The album is a mesmerizing marriage between ambient and IDM, loaded with soundscapes, field recordings, bass lines and dynamic electronic percussion. That being said, don't expect typical techno, drum & bass or dubstep beats. The ones on this album seem to breathe their own air, go their own way and drag you into an immersive audio adventure. Think Autechre, µ-Ziq or Squarepusher, that will get you closer to the sounds on this album.

3rd EP of the French label Plaisir Records made by Cumsecade (aka VID) with a Ali Moghrani Remix !!

This episode will take you to a journey into Cumsecade's twisted mind. Only Hardwares are involved in this masterpiece. On the A side, you'll find Grey Friday, which has a real personal story behind it. The track starts with a pure minimal sound where the layers appear little by little to create a melancholic mood. Then, the melody comes in and matches perfectly with all the sweet noises around to take you for this experience. Grey Friday is the kind of emotional tracks that drops this style to the next level.

B side opens with Edene, a remarquable Cumsecade's imprint with its rolling minimal loop that goes on and on, very catchy and efficient, that increase more after each break.

After being in charge of our 2nd EP, Ali Moghrani takes care of the last track with an Edene's remix. He comes back with some housy mood and still with his recognizable groove. A perfect tune to dance.

Alek S offers up another dose of pensive techno vibes in his "Paradise Lost" EP. Side A opens up with "Bold", a slice of laid back while still pounding techno, boasting zippy synths with an unmistakable analog flavour. It's closely followed by Andres Zacco's rework of "Honey Wheat", an apt reconstruction of the original that's aimed squarely at the dancefloor. The Argentinian producer and recent Ilian Tape alumni dives in with a powerful groove, cutting its way through a suspended atmosphere full of spaced out sounds.
Over on the B-side we're greeted with "Paradise Lost", a slow-paced melody that gradually shifts into a dreamy groove filled with spaced out drums and abstract delays.
Last but not least, the original version of "Honey Wheat" is a somewhat atmospheric, yet functional floor warmer that fits a resigned groove.
