Blindsmyth ist ein musikalischer Weltenbummler. In verschiedenen Bands erkundete er Klangspektren von Metal und Postrock bis zu Electronica. Während seines Musik-Studiums tauchte er dann noch tiefer in die unterschiedlichsten musikalischen Genres und Produktionstechniken ein, kombinierte verschiedenste Instrumente mit elektronischen Produktions- und Performance-Techniken und fand so, auch durch viele live-shows, zu seinem eigenen Sound.
Das Debütalbum von Blindsmyth ist eine Entdeckungsreise zwischen tiefen elektronischen Klanglandschaften und experimenteller Popmusik. Alle Tracks wurden mit analogen Instrumenten, organischen Drum Sounds und eigenen field recordings produziert. Es ist impulsiv, groovig, experimentell und verträumt. Die Stimmung changiert zwischen House, Folk und langsamen Techno - kombiniert mit Atmosphären aus Ambient, Dub und Post Rock.
Der Album Opener - Wacklige Brücken bringt den Tanz zwischen Freiheit und Sicherheit zum Ausdruck. Dynamische Beats, eine energetische Bassline und eine schwebende Bassklarinetten-Melodie runden den hypnotischen Refrain aus einem Chor gepitchter Stimmen ab. "Wir tanzen auf wackligen Brücken und umarmen den Asphalt . - Secret Walls  bewegt sich zwischen tiefen, groovigen Klängen und experimenteller Popmusik, gekennzeichnet durch seinen charakteristischen Gesang. Der Track basiert auf Samples, die Blindsmyth in einem Bunker aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg aufgenommen und zu elektronischen Sounds verarbeitet hat. Entscheidungen treffen, versagen, sich verlieren um sich sich dann wieder zu finden. In - Stuck singt Blindsmyth über die Höhen und Tiefen des Lebens auf einem Bett von weichen Gitarrenakkorden, die von abstrakten hölzernen Perkussions getragen werden. Melancholisch und zugleich hoffnungsvoll. 

This is the remix edition of Dino Sabatini's recent second album "Omonimo" (April 2016, Outis Music).Like the recent album, this EP "Concentrica" features renowned Italian veteran pianist/accordionist Antonello Salis on the tracks "If" and "It All Ends Here", albeit here in different versions. Out of these two tracks the former is on "Concentrica" reworked by Dino Sabatini and the latter in a collaborative live variation between Salis and Dino Sabatini. Simultaneously with the announcement of "Concentrica" was it announced that Dino and Antonello are launching their new live project: Dino Sabatini & Antonello Salis present 'Electronic Opera Concentrica'. Howie B is veteran producer mainly known as a purveyor of early trip hop, having produced cuts from Tricky's debut album, Björk's "Post" and "Homogenic" as well as other major like U2.
After inaugurating the 'Opera' sub-series of his Outis Music label with the sublime 'Omonimo' double LP this April, Dino Sabatini has invited some choice allies to help define the vocabulary and expand the vision of the new imprint. The aforementioned album, which wove together Sabatini's atmospheric conjuring skill with the piano flourishes of Antonello Salis, already exhibits the label's commitment to dismantling the 'either-or' logic of contemporary genres by successfully merging a variety of supposedly irreconcilable styles, talents, and worldviews (e.g. both mythological and the technological perspectives). The follow-up EP, 'Concentrica', draws on the material from 'Omonimo' and delivers it into the hands of additional remixers in order to continue the Outis Opera voyage.

With its tenth DMT release, Philippe Petit drops Energovill, a big room techno bomb driven by a repetitive synth pad and a dreamy distorted saxophone line that will leave nobody indifferent. Philippe then strips down the track even more to deliver a dub oriented, beat-heavy version of the track. On the other side, UBX127, from the Figure stable, is on remix duties: he takes the key elements from Philippe's versions and turns the title track into an unforgiving minimal techno attack. Philippe closes the EP and reworks Energovill once again, this time into a melodic, atmospheric and dreamy beatless version.

Perc Trax is proud to unveil the 2nd 12' to be taken from Forward Strategy Group's debut album 'Labour Division'. Since its release at the end of May the album has received across the board DJ support and press coverage with a 4/5 review from Resident Advisor and even a full page in the Guardian about FSG and Perc Trax. The album has also had launch parties in Amsterdam and London and has seen the FSG guy's crossover outside of techno to be featured in the wider music press including The Quietus and Stool Pigeon.

This 2nd 12' rounds up some of the most popular tracks from the album giving them the vinyl release they truly deserve. First up is the most popular club track from the album; 'Elegant Mistakes' where raw industrial sounds meet with broken beats that hint back at classic UK hardcore. Completing the a-side is album opener 'Ident', one of the LP's most melodic moments and proof, if it was ever needed of Patrick and Al's wide ranging influences and production skills.

The b-side opens with 'Nihil Novi', an album favourite that appeared on the first Labour Division 12' as remixed by Factory Floor. Now the original mix appears on vinyl and it's echoing, slow-morphing stabs sound as cutting as ever. A DJ favourite since it was initially promo'd, it now sounds even better on vinyl. Closing the EP is a re-edit (sarcastically called a 'radio mix') of 'Metal Image', where a world of atmospherics opens up on top of a slow droning kick drum. A perfect set-opener or mid-set Dj tool it is demonstrates the variety that is on show across 'Labour Division' and is one of many reasons for the albums excellent reception.

As founding member of Uran GBG, with a past in cult bands such as Lava, and appearing on stage and in studio with some of Gothenburg's more prominent acts, makes Jerker Jarold one of the cornerstones in the city's psychedelic scene. By the name of Vastlanken, Jarold is now making his first release as a solo artist on Hoga Nord Rekords.

The music on the tracks Autobaba and Moebel, is a mixture of dub, ambient and techno where few but tasteful components builds the sound. Vastlankens transcendent qualities lies in Jarolds ability to limit himself in matter of recording techniques and instrumentation; one synthesiser , one delay pedal and one mobile studio is all he need to make delicate dub.

'Travelog' was the third EP released by Mat Steel and Mark Fell as SND, arriving in 1999 just before the release of their influential debut album 'Makesnd Cassette' on the Mille Plateaux label. Of the three EP reissues in the series, 'Travelog' contains the most developed and satisfying work from the pair, edging their reduced production palette into more fully-realised dimensions, colouring-in those instantly recognisable bass notes and isolated percussive elements with a slow, sublime trickle of melody.The 6 extra tracks included are indispensable - extending the original EP into an hour of mesmerising, slowly immersive rhythmic pulses that still sound pretty much unlike anything you'll have heard before - a perfect bridge between House, Techno and UKG re-imagined within a stripped structure that should act as a masterclass for a new school of producers trying to balance-out rhythmic complexity with space.The opening 'A1' encapsulates this asymmetry brilliantly, bare swing and shuffle riding chiming chords that add warmth and space to an already intoxicating blueprint, while A3 takes those same elements and sharpens them into a slow, undulating alignment bolstered by that immaculate mastering treatment from Rashad Becker. 'B3' takes things deeper - a slow percussive edit slowly drowned-out by a growling analogue drone, while the closing side joins the dots between this EP series and that trio of albums for Mille Plateaux that would soon establish SND as the most forward-thinking and still resolutely original producers from an otherwise largely-forgotten musical era.

Molecule returns with a new odyssey both physical and musical. Following the success of 60°43' Nord, his concept debut played, recorded and mixed on a fishing boat during a 34-day journey in the Atlantic Ocean, the French producer decided this time to take the process further up North and embarked on a voyage to Greenland. Isolated for five weeks in the small Inuit village of Tiniteqilaaq, Romain Delahaye used his 'survival electrokit' to find new sounds in the fjords, the icefields and the hostile yet dazzling landscapes surrounding him. Entirely recorded and mixed in this remoted place, the tracks of -22,7°C range from contemplative ambient atmospheres to more upbeat techno blizzards and accurately translate this epic self-reflective adventure across a land of contrast, its abyssal silences, its immaculate glaciers and its blinding whiteness. With ten previously unheard tracks and very enthusiastic early feedbacks from medias internationally, -22,7°C is set to confirm Molecule's status as a one-of-a-kind producer in today's electro scene.

You're Me's 2016 album, Plant Cell Division, sees its reissue on vinyl for the first time on the Knowing Something label. Newly mastered and presented across two 12"s, Plant Cell Division demonstrates attention and care to texture, melody, and rhythm.

The duo, consisting of Yu Su and Scott Gailey, delivers a recording warm and inviting, one that engages with the listener along multiple dimensions. With repeated listening, each piece reveals something new about itself, continually suggesting new ways to approach You're Me's imaginative and organic sound.

The 2xLP version arrives in a gatefold sleeve designed by Maggie Chok and retains the photo from the original cassette by Evan Mason.

The only vinyl imprint Roundqube Musik is back on the scene with its 13th release. Gabriele Mancino joins the Berlin based label for the first time delivering a fine minimal pack with two bouncy original plus a mental trippin remix made up by Andrea Ferlin week known for his appearances on such label as Sleep is Commercial, AMAM and Vinyl Club.

Already the fifth disc on the new ÆX imprint. A sub label from Amsterdam based label Indigo aera. It is the next chapter in a hand stamped various artist EP series. Formed by a mixture of befriended artists who are considered all inner family members of the label. On the a-side Rotterdams Ben Buitendijk makes his first appearance on the label. Known for running his own Oblique label he here delivers a fast moving rough techno jam. More familiar faces in the form of Kaap, 543FF and Mistress producer Daniel Jacques will continue to bring their output to the young label with their vision on warm Detroit-esque dub techno.
