Widely considered one of the hallmarks of dub-infused electronic music, as well as an endless resource of inspiration and awe for generations of electronic music artists and enthusiasts, Vibrant Forms II by Fluxion is now being reissued by Subwax Bcn. Originally released on Mark Ernestus and Moritz von Oswald's revered Chain Reaction label in 2000, the many calls for a reissue of this cavernous remastered masterpiece has finally been answered by the Barcelona imprint.

This time Tiefenrausch welcomes a new artist in their dub techno family. Förster joins the label with his Aqua Viridis EP and presents a debut with three tracks. As part of his - Grün series, every track stands for a different vibe of the genre. The A-Side comes with a pumping, reduced smasher, that definetely aims on the dancefloor. Side B brings more immersed deepnes. - Grün XV and - Grün XVIII evoke an abyss and enwind the listener with dublime deepness. All covered up by the artwork of Alex Ketzer and the imagery from Jules Vernes - 20.000 leagues under the sea .

The Invariants is a brand new label and production project from Amsterdam. The first release contains four tracks recorded in the fall of 2012. The new DIY label looks set to become a firm favourite with connoisseurs of the deep everywhere. The opening track of the debut EP is a wide-open bit of ambient soundscaping. Distant muffled voices, lush pads that stretch and smear in soothing, cerebral ways and sombre synths all make it a magical opener. The A2 is similar in its smooth textures but is underpinned by a warm, rubbery, thudding kick drum that propels things along at an inviting pace. The pads are just as emotive and serene, though, initially sounding insular and sorry for themselves before a little light and optimism does come in in the latter stages. On the flip, B1 is a much slower and lazier affair: crisp but icy hi hats are as far apart as the drums. Rippling chords roll in the foreground and a slowly emerging sense of groove gets fleshed out with richly reverbing claps and rising pads. Seriously moody stuff, the EP gets finished in real style by the deep, whacked out and mid tempo electro groove of the B2. Humid but run through with frazzled synths, there is plenty of pain as well as hopefulness in the tracks The Invariants create. On this evidence, this is a project that knows just how much is enough to really stimulate mind, body and soul.

Eclectic dance music activist Simone Gatto is set to release his debut album ‚Detachment' on New York based outlet Sheik 'N' Beik.

The album represents the path of life, the flow of time and the emotions occurring in human beings from their birth to death in an audio & visual experience.

Gatto's debut album also summarizes the artist's personal journey both musically and culturally. From a philosophical point of view Detachment is the process through which human beings implement a series of actions in order to search, find and maintain interior wellness. A means through which human beings can forget the capitalistic world and relive the essence of ethical values. Detachment is reuniting with its own spiritual sphere, allowing one to become immune to negative circumstances, imbalances, misconducts and pessimism.

Each track describes a way to relive, assimilate and react to events and memories of the past. This leads us to a stage of happiness and awareness, which is obtainable exclusively in places that are meaningful and in the company of people who are dear to us.

The album is punctuated by a lyrical voyage of discovery, including various elements of ambient music, electronic downbeat and techno. Simone touches sonorous and emotional extremes that are distant and deep at the same time.We encounter gloomy and luminous atmospheres, joyful and melancholic textures, loose and pressing rhythms characterize the audio visual journey throughout the twelve tracks. Feeling reminded of common life impressions, we experience the tracks like hybrids ranging between phases of tension, impasse, calm, wellbeing, discomfort, happiness and equilibrium.
The artwork and painting ‚Detachment' was commissioned by Giorgio Casu.

He worked to translate Simone's vision & feelings through the painting. Depicting emotions within a naturalistic scenery. While the painting will be showcased on the outside album artwork, the inside of the album contains a special collage from Simone's homeland which is an ideal location for spiritual isolation and full immersion in Detachment'.

The argentinian Gonzalo MD has just recently created a lot of buzz around his person with releases on the french
label Knotweed Records.
You can clearly hear that he has got his very own style of techno, his synths are very extensive and hypnotic
and his kickdrums are very sub-heavy.
The original of Northern Lights is the perfect example for those extensive synths.
Strck is has given his Remix his very own touch by using his typical loopy and ecstatic sounds.
Lee Holman converted the record into something faster and more hard hitting using the synths and highlighted bleeps.
on B2 and B3 we have two more of Gonzalos great original Records. Deep Purple is one hell of a banging, hypnotic
90s-Techno example while Modulat is pulsing rather deep using a lovely hatgroove.

Amandra completes the Ahrpe series by releasing his first album. Swedish artist Evigt Morker joins the project with a punchy edit.

Delsin present a new EP by B12 aka Steve Rutter entitled Orbiting Souls, a name which comes from the fact the veteran artist has recently spent contemplating the loss of a friend and believes we are surrounded by lost souls and spirits. This is B12's second EP this year following on from the Bokide 325 release on Soma Records and comes years after still acclaimed album like Electro-Soma and TimeTourist on Warp Records back in the 90s. Orbiting Souls is a somewhat complex journey, a representation of inner Bi Polar opposites; isolation; sadness, but also acknowledging the great and wonderful things around that swirl and support and energise us. A perfectly formed sound world that is both absorbing and cerebral and comes with a full colour sleeve by Boris Tellegen.

Max Würden invites to Transit, an intense ambient trip through lush sonic felds as well as dark sound tunnels. Atmospheric feld recordings invite their listeners to stay a while - right before the dub beats reliably push the tempo. So get in, take a seat and let yourself go. Your journey begins here.

For their first Record Store Day vinyl, Dusky's 17 Steps unveil a much requested club cut from the label bosses themselves in 'Buckets'. A dark, murky groover full of heaving basslines, swampy beats and cut-up soul vocals, 'Buckets' has been popping up in Dusky mixes for a couple of years, earning it cult status amongst their hardcore following and making it a perfect choice for a limited collectors vinyl. It comes backed with a twisted two-step remix from Swamp 81's Paleman.

#N/A (literally, Nisennenmondai with Adrian Sherwood) is a new studio album which sees the cult Japanese trio filtering their epic motorik jams through the mixing desk of the legendary dub producer.
Nisennenmondai are three girls from Tokyo, Sayaka Himeno (drums), Yuri Zaikawa (bass) and Masako Takada (guitar), who have been playing instrumental music together since 1999. From their initial beginnings as a noisy no wave band openly referencing influences such as Sonic Youth, DNA and This Heat, they have since honed and streamlined their sound into a more minimalistic pulse with an emphasis on the hypnotic possibilities of repetition, creating a sound that can be likened to 'organic techno'.
Much beloved by other musicians including Battles, Prefuse 73 and Chris & Cosey (Throbbing Gristle), in recent years they have made more connections to dance culture, in particular with their 2015 collaboration live and on record with electronic producer Shackleton.
Recording their new album with Sherwood has resulted in them sounding bigger than ever before, with a greater emphasis on small rhythmic details and subtle dub touches, reminiscent in places of the classic Basic Channel sound.
This international edition of the album includes 2 bonus 'live dub mixes'. Whilst Adrian showed considerable restraint in his production job on the studio album, on a subsequent live date at Tokyo's Unit club he was recorded deploying a wild array of FX tricks, dropping in splashes of cavernous reverb and space echo delay to the performance of two pieces previous album N'.

Hailing from Spain, Eduardo De La Calle has been a prolific DJ and house and techno producer since the early nineties who's productions have recently been featuring heavily in Boddikas DJ sets.
With over 100 vinyl releases under his belt on labels including Semantica, Cadenza and his own imprints (Analog Solutions, Suprwax, Edits Records) plus many more, Eduardo is an underground legend staying true to his analogue production techniques and never following the pack.

Fizgig, the new project of Alessio Mereu label manager of Amam , from the deepest and blackest moments to the highest emotion in a rush. Gives us an ep for mind and soul for this new release on Wet Cellar Records, with a masterpiece remix of Eduardo De La Calle, all of it comes from the love between men and machines, dark and hypnotic , it developes a bouncing double bass line that breaks the atmosphere with an aggressive 808 kick. Leaving the ep with the last track (Davy's Gray) , more charging and engaging for the club.

Finally repressed!
This is the 10th release on Baum, and we welcome back Havantepe, who previous has released a track on Baum Limited Picture Edition. Havantepe is one of the most talented producers out of Istanbul, and always delivers tight solid productions. This time is no exception for him, as the two tracks on the EP is so well produced. 'War Cry' is a Deep Dub Techno track full of energy, and 'Revolt' is the perfect track to play in the end of a set, with its hypnotizing atmosphere.

The dancefloor has been at the center of our music production since the very beginning, but even then we felt the need to express something else.
The debut album "Unwise" represents our first step towards musical maturity.
This emerged out of an organic, natural process that was inevitably shaped by the contrasts between us of temperament and imagination.
Throughout production, the evocation of intimate feelings and atmospheres was an essential goal of this project.
Harmonizing an unlikely mixture of musical influences and inspirations, these tracks were composed along the edges of a few perfect parallels between us and countless wrong directions. WORDS by NATCH!
