Trawling the net for sounds of a different fashion two humans encountered each other and their mutual taste for exotic rhythms, heavy sonics and all things dub.

Based in Scotland and Kazakhstan, drawing influences from ghetto music cultures from around the globe. They broke through barriers, political and language, to collaborate and create. Announcing their sound under the banner ‘Illuminations’ in a hope to shine the light away from the algorithms of corporate greed and control, bringing it back to individuals with creative souls.

Released under scopeotaku’s DiY tape label, this is a limited edition of 50 hand-stamped and numbered cassettes feat 15 tracks by the duo that drag future dystopian soundscapes into bass laden rhythms best heard in dark spaces through large speakers.

In the intricate maze of Tokyos neon heartbeat, Yuki Takasaki, known as Altone, creates a world where time and sound dissolves into dub techno. Brendon Moeller, a master of dub techno, reimagines Altones >Self Replication< In two distinct yet sonic territories. The dub remix, by cont rast, plunges into a vortex where liquid acid intertwines with hypnotic bass lines, conjuring a dreamscape infused with laser guided drums and crystalline texture. Matt Thibideau debuts on Kontakt with three innovative dub-infused tracks, pushing the boundaries of the genre to new heights. While Matt frequently collaborates with his brother Mark on different projects, this release is a solo project conceived from his own creative mind.

The Cologne native Blauert releases his first record, and it sounds like he's been doing it all his life. We are thrilled that he chose us for this release. His sound is influenced by dub and Detroit techno, yet it has a unique quality that many releases lack.

The Kolony Gorky label hits release number four just a year after debuting last summer. This one again comes from DDrhode and opens with 'Ghoroob' which is a super nice and icy deep dub roller with smeared pads and heady ambient vibes. The dub slows things down and adds even more bottomless dub depths. 'DD2' (Sohrab dub) is a warm, peaker number but still very much a late-night and backroom jam and the Down The Rhode version of the A1 is a conscious classic with deep meaning and deeper rhythms.

13 years after his first release on Quintessentials, Italian master of Chicago House Simoncino is back on the label! With his impressive release catalogue and his love for vintage sounds, Simoncino is always welcome back. The EP title hints at what his new release is all about: Dub Techno! James Bangura’s Wichita EP is sound experience reflecting on the adolescent pursuit of finding freedom through driving.

Looking back on intense driving experiences with high school and college friends through canyons like Turn Bull, Idylewild, and San Timoteo, This EP represents the transition from childhood to adulthood - from being reckless to being thankful and more self aware.

Place: - Air Texture’s regional nonprofit series focused on local environmental causes, features Tunisia for its next in the series curated by Azu Tiwaline and Shinigami San.

As old veterans of electronic deep explorations they are driven by the aim to provide a general view and an état des lieux of the electronic microcosm of this scene supporting its different directions and creative aspects. This compilation is an invitation to have a deep dig into electronic Tunisia.

The artists curated to participate represent different backgrounds and musical perspectives. From score composers to established producers, crossing the path of more experimental ones the curators offer a large view of the ensemble of the different electronic approaches in Tunisia. Different generations are also meeting through this compilation, regrouping almost four decades of producers and sonic creators.

For the second release on 777Hz, ‘Hiss is Bliss’ teams up with the legendary singer ‘Linval Thompson’ who delivers an amazing vocal cut with his unique voice. Recorded in the heart of Kingston Jamaica at Caveman Studios the A side track takes it back to the roots! While on the B side the Dub version will send you straight back to Detroit.

The latest compilation album from COD3 QR is, as always, focused on eclecticism, open-mindedness, divergence and non-conformity, featuring the usual wide range of electronic music, all handpicked by Laurent Garnier and Scan X.

Calibre (Belfast-born Dominick Martin) should need little introduction. A painter, multi-instrumentalist, singer, writer, producer, DJ and general Drum & Bass don, with over 19 albums under his belt, opens up the release in fine style with the dubby "Sump Dub".

French DJ and Electro-Techno composer Seroplexx follows with "Alerte Rouge". Originally from an acoustic background, playing guitar, trumpet, drums, piano and clarinet he soon fell in love with electronic music and discovered modular synths.

There's more Techno in the form of "Timeline" by Costello, a versatile French electronic music producer, artist and DJ known for his cutting-edge sounds and technical prowess. His standout tracks have captured the attention of underground stalwarts as well as mainstream giants.

Heading in a Leftfield direction next is Marcelus with "Forward". Also hailing from France, he impressed early on with releases on DJ Deep's Deeply Rooted House before Tresor came calling. He describes his music as "personal and honest".



Staying with French producers, Subground 3000 delivers some Deep House on "Sound Migration (Lee Trax Garage Remix)" as well as the digital bonus track, "Little Reminder". Heavily influenced by Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Electronica and Cold Wave, he has previously released on the likes of Frequency Shift, Naeba, Nice & Nasty Records and more.



In a more Detroit style is "Cosmos" by Jim Rivers. Crossing the many bridges between House and Techno, since his Saw Recordings debut back in 2006, he's gone on to release a plethora of music and remixes across notable labels including Intec, Renaissance, Bedrock, Tronic, King Street and Faith.



Hailing from Yorkshire (UK) and Amsterdam (NL), the dynamic duo of Melatron & Ancient Artefact are modern pioneers of the Punk-Electro sound. Melatron brings raw energy and gritty productions, while Ancient Artefact weaves intricate electronic textures to form an electrifying sound on "I Get My Kicks" which closes the vinyl EP.



A second bonus track rounds off the digital package as Oliver Way (EPM's co-founder and Detroit Grand Pubahs' Mr O) and Dany Rodriguez (LINK Audio and LINK Festival creator) join forces again for the melodious Techno of "Third Act".

Emotional Response is proud to welcome renowned multi-instrumentalist Alan Briand aka Shelter, to the label with a striking new EP that delves deep into the realms of modern Digi-Dub.

Over a myriad of releases Shelter’s dextrous ability to straddle genres, from ambient, Balearic, improvisation and most recently a series of acid ragas, releasing on an impressive roster of today’s electronic labels including Antinote, Growing Bin, International Feel, Séance Centre and his own Protopost imprint.

After making waves on Emotional Response's All Trades compilations with his standout track "The Four Knights Dub," Briand returns to further explore his passion for digital dub and UK roots. Across four tracks, all recorded live, he merges sound design, found sounds, and world music with seismic basslines, creating a truly immersive sonic experience.

The rise of Digital Dub is often traced to the groundbreaking "Under Me Sleng Teng" by Prince Jammy / Wayne Smith, but it was the UK's later reversioning – adding electronic drums to roots and steppers rhythms – that gave birth to the unique sound of Digi-Dub.

Shelter pays homage to this tradition, drawing inspiration from the likes of Alpha & Omega, Bush Chemist, and Jonah Dan. His process is as raw as it is innovative: building an analog setup with a MIDI sequencer, DCO synth, live vocals, and sound effects fed through Boss pedals. Digital drums from the KPR77 and DD10 are layered in, with everything mixed live to tape, no overdubs, capturing the raw, live energy of the performance.

This EP must be experienced as a whole – a continuous live set of steppers 4/4 rhythms, cryptic titles (a nod to chess tactics) that acts as rewinds, paying tribute to dub classics of the past.

Austere Recordings are back with their 10th release, having always favoured quality over quantity. LAAK feature once again on a 200 limited hand stamped ep, serving up their usual high calibre tracks.

Kontakt presents an immersive dive into dubtechno by UK-based Silver Ash, showcasing

a meticulously crafted, long-building filtered dub track. Berlin-based producer Shed elevates the original track by giving it a solid Waxed treatment, propelling it to higher levels. Limited coloured vinyl.

Four tracks from '20 Years Of Phonica' on limited 12" vinyl!

We start off with a collaboration from Paramida & E-Talking. Paramida is the well-respected head of the Love on the Rocks label whilst E-Talking is the pseudonym of Emmanuel Corre, one half of Nummer who have given us stunning releases over the year on their own label, AD93 and Going Good. ‘Read My Lips’ strikes the perfect balance of old-school warehouse acid and early morning Berlin dance floors.

Next up, Dauwd’s bass-heavy monster ‘Slam’. The US born, Berlin residing DJ & producer Dauwd has been pushing his sound through various styles and genres since the early 2010s. From dub-steppy and tech-house beginnings to his most recent house and dub-techno Psssh imprint outputs he has been driving record collectors crazy for his 12’s for over a decade!

On the flip, Daniel Avery's ‘Bell’ finds the Phantasy and Mute artist at his most contemplative and melodic; it’s streamlined stylings reminiscent of UK Artificial Intelligence 90s techno and Kompakt’s golden era.

Finally, Mancunian producer Willow’s ‘Willbush’ shows why she has been a leading name in the underground house scene for over a decade now, including releases on the renowned Workshop label.
