Maar, the duo of Michael Vallera (Immune's Cleared and solo works in Opal Tapes) and Joseph Clayton Mills (Haptic), returns with Absolute Delay. The title, defined as the interval between transmission and reception of a signal, encapsulates their aesthetic of fissures, broken patterns, and spatial dislocation. Expanding on the palette that characterized their debut Ceto (Umor Rex 2014), Maar draws even more deeply on their influences—in particular, the warped atmospherics of dub and the severity of minimalist composition—to create something that defies easy classification. Translucent drones and traces of field recordings are deployed to create shifting degrees of focus, while flickering electronics are pieced together in a disorienting mosaic

The Analog Roland Orchestra will start a new series with PATTERNS 1 - 2. He is using only CV Gate, Trigger Signals, intern sequencers and arpeggiators, chord memory and transpose buttons. You will find each pattern on the label of the vinyl.

Hot on the heels of their recent twelve from Tilman and Florist, Charmin Records are very excited to be motoring onto their third release with this excellent VA bringing in material from new friends of the label. The East German imprint expand their sound to take in rougher techno, acid, and also more hypnotic and spacious territory. The artists on the roster are label founder Florist, Stanley Schmidt, Matt Thibideau and Billy Dalessandro and the result is a diverse excursion that stays true to the core ethos of the label.

"City Stellar" by Yan Kaylen is our first artist EP release following up to our debut VA album "Setting Forth" released in the fall 2015. Yan Kaylen is an electronic music artist from Paris, inspired by the Berlin techno and London bass-music scenes. His musical universe focuses on a tribal and minimalistic approach for rhythms as well as ambient, atmospheric, industrial and evolving textures. As a member and resident of the Exploration Music crew in Paris he started playing his own productions live in the summer 2013. He has since played in clubs such as Tresor, Concrete, La Machine du Moulin Rouge or Le Batofar, and has shared the stage with established artists such as Sigha, Skudge, Shifted, Clouds, Paula Temple, Objekt, Truncate, Goldie or Positive Centre. He is also part of the cinematic audiovisual project trio Dasein."City Stellar" is a six track, forty minute, journey through an ominous imaginary city. It starts off with the beatless ambient title track "City Stellar" setting the tone for the entire EP. It is followed by the 125 BPM dub techno-meets-dubstep sub heavy "Suspension Of Disbelief", while "Ancients Colony" concludes side A with an introspective tribal beat. "_Field" offers a moment of cautious rest in an imaginary playground with the sound of children playing in the distance. The pace picks up again with the epic "Mirage X84", a broken beat and lush pads filled techno number which then leaves us in the gloomy "Last Quadrant" not far from where we'd arrived in the Stellar City on the intro track.

Roberto finally debuts on Be As One after having recently joined the label booking agency and main core, and he does it with style. For those that have been keeping an ear on the UK techno sound Roberto should not be a new name by now, having released a series of well received EPs on Artform and Affin, and being a resident at London's legendary Fabric club. 'Hi Tek", a collaborative effort with his pal Chris Page, opens the EP and subtly warms things up for the energy delivered on the B Side. 'Spring Times' is that kind of tune that dropped at the right moment create mayhem on the dark, sweaty floors. Calling Card closes bringing things down into deep territories. Techno is back on Be As

Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia are household names that really need no further introduction. Their dj sets are techno stories well told and their live act is already making waves worldwide. Amphia is first and foremost the platform they use to broadcast their finest works. Such is the case of Sideways, their latest LP, containing more than a dozen tracks coming your way trilogy style.
The first part reveals six tracks on two heavyweight discs. Although most of the tracks fit the usual SIT musical approach, the listener is greeted with a wide pallete of rhythms. Assemble is an atmospheric dub infused with violins and orchestral echoes. Permissive starts things up with a playful bass progression and continues with lush pads and cryptic voices. Brooklyn's deep moody synths and monster groove render it broken poetry at it's best. For sure it will resemble those early danceable mornings. On a more joyful manner we are presented next with Bootcamp's sturdy baseline and playful modulated vocals.
Mandatory claims a whole side of the second disc and so does Come Around. While the first is almost experimental but danceable and warm due to the occasional driving percussions and 303 sounds the latter is the star of the show. Come Around is 15 minutes long and comes with a story too. A great collection of tracks, a great story that backs each one of them makes the first part of the Sideways LP trilogy a treat to listen and dance to.

Adrian Sherwood is an artist, producer and founder of the cult On-U Sound label. Much-loved by other musicians, as well as pioneering his own unique take on dub reggae, he's also worked with everyone from The Slits to Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode to The Fall, Blur to Einstürzende Neubauten. Still very active in the studio and as a touring artist, he has recently released a collaborative album with Bristol dubstep don Pinch, remixed Peaking Lights, and produced albums by Roots Manuva, Nisennenmondai and Coldcut.

Ressort Imprint label founder Ekserd finally steps out of the shades and delivers a more than hefty statement about his vision of Techno's sound.

Not only is 'The Hidden Documents' the debut of young Berlin-based artist Ekserd, it also marks the beginning of a new chapter for the label. More focused on it's own artist's output now, the two original productions follow the concept without the slightest hint of an excuse: 'Our Ressort is set to the dancefloor and nowhere else.' This being stated, I/Y and Svreca both add the final touch to this release with their very own takes on Ekserd's game-changing material.

This sublabel is an extension of Orbis Records' softer, more melodical and experimental side. Music will be ranging from house, dub, chicago over melodic acid and even breaks. Not any track makes it to this sublabel if it can't stand on its own and stand the test of time!

In 2005 Maik Richter gets his first appearances as Live-Act... Professional Music Production is the order of Maik R. The project is going to professional song composition but in which live performance will remain further a component. The sound of Maik R budges to minimalistical domains - the contrary to beginning of its musical representation. Gentleless and deep pressure sounds are significant for Maik's musical interpretation - the music should be stimulating you for dreaming. For new inspirations Maik R. leaves himself by other artists and external influences (e.g. society, nature) to enrich.

Known from his debut on Orbis Records, Grg is back with his typical warm & analog sound, we appreciate very much!
Born and raised in the GDR, today East Germany, Grg started making music in '94 using analog Equipment.
early 1995, he already played live-sets with 2 friends as Ensemble Acid Paul and later as "grg" on his own. He released on TeKknik Experimental and EAP records.
Still producing with the amazing MPC3k, he never focused on one single Genre. "it's just Electronic Music" he told us. A modest guy.

The B-side is a melodic beauty. No words needed. Grg pur sang!
"Leidenschaft" is very dreamy soundscape based on smooth dub rhythm. Gentle, Subtle. Amazing. An ideal track to open or close the dancefloor. A secret weapon for laid-back moments with friends and a good glass of red wine.
"Klangbaum" feels like a statement. Deep, Dark, Swiss dub. Great stuff if you like the deeper side of dubby tracks.
On the B-side, "Chroma": a track that starts as a very basic yet surprising arrangement evolves in a very clean and sharp gentle melodic danceable track. Works on the floor as well in the background having dinner with openminded and electronic enthusiastic friends.
The second track "Fuer Pe Mi" could be categorized under trance, but it isn't. It's just an amazing track full of warm feelings. A track Grg wrote to celebrate the love between his and his wife. We're very honored he's willing to share this track with the rest of the world. Big respect.

PHORMA releases ION, a nine-minute dub techno piece by Adam Craft reminiscing rainy nights on Stockholm's Sveavagen. On the flip side, Dimi Angelis and Jeroen Search transform this vibe into a stripped-down yet powerful tool to work the early hours.

The second release on Hail Blk, with deeper grittier atmospheres from new artist Llimbs. The four tracks presented here pace steadily with heavy beats immersed in dark industrial noise echoes and repetitive oscillating sounds with moments of brooding introspection.

After many many releases we are very happy and proud that he now returns with a full lenght album.More than 7 years after his last long-player album Mikkel Metal returns with a new album for Echocord.  Bypassing dub-techno as the starting point, this is music clearly consistent with earlier output. We are presented with 10 tracks that all evolve with around a melancholic melodic framework. While there is clearly a nod to Detroit and another to Dubtechno, the overall impression is consistently and nmistakably the sound of Mikkel Metal. A hypnotic, very enjoyable and thorough return from the Danish Artist.

We are proud to introduce you our release number six, this is our first Various Artists featuring the cream of the crop in the spanish techno scene. Chords are the main component in this four tracks, deep techno is the style and the makers are Architectural, UnCUT, Eduardo de La Calle and The Transhumans.

Opening A side, Architectural kicks in with Lightning Conductor, a sonic journey thru the deepest side of techno, solid kick drum and hipnotic sequences
are joined by lush and liquid chords and pads that evolve and change constantly during the arrangement creating a dynamic piece of intelligent music as only Juan Rico can make.

On the second cut, the misterious duo UnCUT provide one of their deepest exercises with Deviant, fat kicks again, solid chords, sharp percussions and melodic pads all arranged on a complex timeline that constantly moves and changes.

On B side, Eduardo de la Calle provides an alogue rythm fuelled chord odissey on Under Divinity Laws, as always with this producer, rawness and deepness join together in harmony with a solid step into tradition.

Closing the release, another hidden duo, The Transhumans, sign Food for Silicon Beings, A solid rhythm beat for starting soon joined by subbass frequencies, pads and of course chords, effected and twisted wisely on a complex arrangement.

That being so, some others visualize the sea as a wide playground from which they can pick up the echos to turn them into a deep sound. That is precisely the case of Molecule who decided to record the wild voices of the Atlantic Ocean aboard a 90 metres long fishing boat. The result is made of powerful and danceable techno beats ("8 ZL 40), tracks that will take you directly to the Atlantic's depths ("Abysses"), and harmonious moments of time off ("Le Jardin' or Soleil Bleu"). The whole of the tracks is captivating and flows naturally as we listen to it. You'll find the song Hébrides, present on the 981 Mb EP, as well as the original version of Rockall that you might have heard already as a live version. British art-rock band No-Man (Tim Bownes & Stewen Wilson w Mick Karn, Richard Barbieri, Steve Jansen, Ben Coleman) recorded Heaven Taste in the studio sessions in summer 1992. It got first released as a complete 21 mins version on Painting Paradise EP on One Little Indian (1993). The track drew attention in the rising ambient techno scene and got played by DJs like Mixmaster Morris.

The track fuses ambient techno with art rock and features a distinctive fretless bass solo by Mick Karn.

This super sound 45rpm 12" features a Steven Wilson edited 11.21 mins version of the original and on B-side Jimi Tenor's rearrange with some solos with flute and keyboard.

Vosnos third release features Simone Gatto along with a remix from non other than the dutch artist Orlando Voorn. The Italian Disc Jockey and producer runs his own imprint Out-Er (Out Electronic Recordings) but was kind enough to share his music on Vosnos Records. On his Moss EP he opens up with The way of life a realy nice off beat dub techno track, which with it´s subtleness, brings a punch to any techno set be it a starter, mid session or end track. Moss gives you an opportunity to explore minimal house at its best. Simone invited Orlando Voorn to interpret The way of life and good on him for doing so! Orlando stays true to the original, which we praise here at Vosnos, and brings it that anthem feel without getting to obvious. It´s a three tracker EP with three totaly different tracks suitable for a majority of sets, house techno and beyond.

J.C. touches down, going to the farthest reaches of the sonic landscape and returning with a portrait of the flying sky. Dark brooding techno with a emotional edge, not for the faint of heart.

We are very proud and honered to release this ep by Function aka Dave Sumner from Sandwell District.

One of techno's true underground heroes, Function (Dave Sumner) has been DJing and making music for over 15 years. Hailing from New York, he was seduced by techno music when Jeff Mills held a residency (as well as his own first) at the Limelight in the early 90s. Dave started to produce music and from the mid-90s onwards, put out music on Damon Wild's Synewave and his own Infrastructure imprint.

Together with Regis (Karl O'Connor) he worked as Portion Reform, putting out uncompromising music on Downwards and becoming the only non-Birmingham producer to release on the label. In 2008 Dave moved to Berlin, still working with Regis, and now Silent Servant (John Mendez), put his focus on the acclaimed Sandwell District imprint.

Obsessed is a supper powerfull floating track for the dancefloor, a typical Function production.

This ep also contains remixes from Substance and SCB aka Scuba, both peak-time tracks.

Micha³ Wolski is a Polish musician, music journalist, radio DJ and tireless promoter of dub techno aesthetics. Eight extended compositions on his new record La Mer' (Sea) recall those special moments when sound becomes a movement of a kinetic sculpture, an abstract painting, or a cinematic report from the Arctic solitude. Personal and introvert, yet simultaneously carrying certain universal message (cosmic loneliness molecular life), sound space created by Wolski manages to seduce listener and inhale her/him for whole 75 minutes. Associations with sculptural work with matter are not purely arbitrary. On his fourth full-length, artist consciously shapes complex and saturated form, further developing - on evidence on his earlier releases - penchant for exploring darker alleys of synthesis and sound design. In his varied and consistent narration, one can find a whole range of references to noblest protoplasts such as Pan Sonic, Rhythm & Sound, or even Vatican Shadow's desert manipulation. However, the key to album's consistency does not rely on the power of quote, it rather manifests itself in sheer scale and depth of imagined atmospheres and non-existent geographies. But Wolski's constructs are much more than a set of sea sound fantasies. La Mer' is a highly individualist vision of new worlds of listening AND hearing, truly deep acoustic ecology in time of overall hiss.

Introducing a new series to the family! The Strata Series is focused on bringing you some new flavas of house and techno from various producers.

The first vinyl release by Ukrainian label Subself presents the compilation including both label residents and new artists. X EP includes four tracks made exclusively for this release.

It starts with DSCRD's track which perfectly blends experimentalism and techno traditions into nine-minutes-trip gets with a peak by acid bass and distorted modular chords. Vadim Griboedov continues journey with off-beat techno construction balancing on the border of minimalism and nihilism.

On the flipside Rasmus Hedlund present dubby side of Subself with his slowburning Extorter decorated with delays and glithes. The last but not least track of X EP belongs to Echologist, man which production always surpising and visionary. Explorer is not exception - it's mesmerise with the deepness and transparency at the same time.

sound, she brings her range of musical knowledge to create a solid package with a stunning

Starting things off on a analog journey with Innerspace' we move through an
interstellar universe with detailed grooves full of percussive splatters and echoing synths
that moves us into a dream like state of mind.
Conjuring the jazz planet in Berlin with Katzbachjazz'you are immediately transported
to a galaxy of sound with galloping percussion and a classic techno layout. Using more 909
techno drum elements she creates a whirlwind of sound with a delicate touch.
Taking things a little bit deeper with Cosmic Karma' she presents a heavily detailed
drum structure full of violin experimentation that creates a dark atmosphere but still
bringing an uplifting and joyous vibe.
Finishing off the package is something unique from Fred P who Julie asked to remix for
her due to her enormous respect for him. The emotionally charged remix of Cosmic
Karma' shows a different side of Fred P while still keeping his signature sound in tact.
The remix takes us through an ever-evolving voyage through time and space.

Zach is back with the third part of his Kimochi Sound trilogy. Noise, abstract house and disco reductions. Simmering.

Be As One is once again showcasing the talents of a young and bright producer with a promising career ahead of him. Yotam Avni's unique approach to music didn't took long to be noticed and brought onboard by the Be As One crew. Yotam debuts on the Israeli label with an EP that reflects how he sees Techno: dark, raw, pumping, relentless with 'UR Sleeping' on the A side; emotional melodic, driving with the Detroit inspired 'Better Days' on the flipside. Timeless techno once again on BAO.

Raime's second album, Tooth, arrives June 10, 2016 on 2xLP, CD and digital formats. The widescreen melancholia of their 2012 debut, Quarter Turns Over A Living Line, gives way to an urgent and focussed futurism, in the shape of eight fiercely uptempo, minimal, meticulously crafted electro-acoustic rhythm tracks. No hiss, no obscuring drones or extraneous noise: the music of Tooth is wide-open and exposed. The seeds of its supple dancehall biomechanics can be found in the self-titled 2013 EP by Raime side-project Moin, an ahead-of-its-time synthesis of art-rock and soundsystem sensibilities, but Tooth pushes the template further, binding the disparate elements together so tightly that they become indistinguishable from one another.

If Quarter Turns was an album that confronted total loss and self-destruction, even longed for it, then Tooth is the sound of resistance and counter-attack: cunning, quick, resolute, calling upon stealth as much as brute-force. At a time when so many pay lip service to experimentation without ever fully committing themselves or their work to it, Raime return from three years of deep, dedicated studio research with a bold and original new music: staunch, rude, and way out in front.

Minimood Extra's forthcoming release is a vinyl only, red 12" affair that features two novel reworks of dub techno wizard David Hausdorf's legendary Salo release 'Space Walk'. Germany's David Hausdorf has been turning out expertly crafted deep techno since the late nineties. He did so on labels like Synaptic Waves as well as Styrax Leaves, and in 2002 served up his classic 'Space Walk' on the epic Berlin based imprint Salo.
First up is the 2015 Version. It is a ten minute piece of heady, hypnotic techno with soft rubber drums, gently propulsive percussion and icy high-hats that add a real sense of scale and depth to the track. With slick boom-bap bite in the claps and hits, this is the sort of expertly reduced track that will lock dance floors in for hours.
Then comes the 2015 Reshape, which again makes full use of its 10 minute length. There is a little more edgy reverb in this one, the drums are more upright and the pads are a little more rippling and rolling. It's a liquid groove as a result, and one that is near faultless for the way it rolls on and on without any friction.

The much loved and mysterious R-Zone series rolls on here with another new EP, this time made up of three more moody and atmospheric cuts. First track 'Visions Of A Deepweb' is a slow and predatory crawl through a barren cosmic landscape. Synths spiral around you and encase you in paranoia as heavy drums trudge out a groove below. The track grows ever more stormy and turbulent, never letting your attention wane. 'Xochisa Wakening' is a much more spacious and less intense affair with no drums, just dripping water; tons of reverb and groaning deep space ambient sounds that suggest you are in total free fall. Continuing with the intergalactic feel, the final track 'Positive Sequence' sounds like a voyage through space, with heavenly pads adding tons of beautiful atmosphere, gently ticking percussion driving things along and plenty of little sonic details all drifting by in the background. Following Harris' 2014 sophomore solo album, Minutes of Sleep,' (named Electronic Album of the Year by Mojo Magazine,) the duo's quintessential album debut, Floods,' takes as its focus, the late author W.G. Sebald's profound interpretation of Rembrandt's 1632 master work, The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp. Floods' is a sonic journey into the heart of the body, a bold rejuvenation of Adriaan Adriaanszoon (Aris Kindt), once a mere cadaver on a cold metal slab, now a living breathing human at the heart of a creative shift in vantage point from object to active subject. Much in the same way Rembrandt intended with the painting itself, Floods' attempts to subvert the listeners memory of a moment. Written within a span of over a year using an 808, a modular eurorack and two guitars, Floods' was mixed at Keyclub Recording Company in late August with Engineer Bill Skibbe. #N/A (literally, Nisennenmondai with Adrian Sherwood) is a new studio album which sees the cult Japanese trio filtering their epic motorik jams through the mixing desk of the legendary dub producer.
Nisennenmondai are three girls from Tokyo, Sayaka Himeno (drums), Yuri Zaikawa (bass) and Masako Takada (guitar), who have been playing instrumental music together since 1999. From their initial beginnings as a noisy no wave band openly referencing influences such as Sonic Youth, DNA and This Heat, they have since honed and streamlined their sound into a more minimalistic pulse with an emphasis on the hypnotic possibilities of repetition, creating a sound that can be likened to 'organic techno'.
Much beloved by other musicians including Battles, Prefuse 73 and Chris & Cosey (Throbbing Gristle), in recent years they have made more connections to dance culture, in particular with their 2015 collaboration live and on record with electronic producer Shackleton.
Recording their new album with Sherwood has resulted in them sounding bigger than ever before, with a greater emphasis on small rhythmic details and subtle dub touches, reminiscent in places of the classic Basic Channel sound.
This international edition of the album includes 2 bonus 'live dub mixes'. Whilst Adrian showed considerable restraint in his production job on the studio album, on a subsequent live date at Tokyo's Unit club he was recorded deploying a wild array of FX tricks, dropping in splashes of cavernous reverb and space echo delay to the performance of two pieces previous album N'.

Modern Love very rarely reaches out to artists outside of its immediate surroundings; it's happened just a couple of times in the last 14 years. But there's something about Philippe Hallais that compelled the label to ask him if he wanted to do something together.
Philippe has released music on a bunch of cool labels (L.I.E.S., The Trilogy Tapes, Delsin, In Paradisum), but hearing the first tracks recorded for Lighthouse Stories, it was obvious Philippe was hitting on something new: a kinda weird slow/fast dance music that sounded like a Footwork variant sewn up with an exotic production style that was impossible to pin down.
These tracks eventually splintered off into different directions, held together by a strong sense of narrative and motion harking back to a teenage obsession with Turntablism, Detroit electro and Ghetto house, and eventually Juke and Grime. Although he's spent the last few years focusing on more industrial dancefloor variants, for Lighthouse Stories Philippe turned to these foundational influences, as well as his love of mixtapes and sound collages full of unfinished ideas, skits and experiments; all things that inform the flow of this new album.
Lighthouse Stories captures a sense of nostalgia well, but is also a futuristic vision full of that exploratory, vibrant spirit that's so hard to find in electronic music these days. Frames of reference are hard, but in places it reminds us of the dusted swagger of Anthony Shake Shakir, the acquatic Drexciyan movements of Ultradyne, a loose-limbed take on Shangaan, and of Actress at his most submerged.
But ultimately, it's an album made by a producer looking to his personal history while forging new ground, pushing ahead with little regard to convention and ultimately ending up with something completely unique: a kind of intimate journal rendered in bright colours and odd shapes.

You've got to love a label sampler where the artist field says "various".
It simply means you're not going to get any padding. You won't find any pointless stuff on your plate, just a collection of A-Sides from different producers and in this case, the four servings of meat on this one dish are of particularly high, organic value.
The first thoroughbred track, I understand, was raised on a free-range farm somewhere in the Croatian lowlands by sexy DJ/farmer Mariano Mateljan.
The aptly named Pigeon Boxer is a real sultry little groover, a simple but chunky beat just jacks along, nice and confidently. Drop bits in, take bits out, the rhythm will do the rest.
A very, very good bit of real deep house. So we're off to a bloody good start down at Infuse's inner city groove farm; which, by the way, is a sub label of Fuse, one of London's top club nights.
Lets just put a bolt gun straight through the face of this weird farm/food metaphor thing going on because, as I'm sure you'll agree, it's getting fucking tiresome.
Anyhoo (anymoo), next up comes Swiss producer Alci who provides another fine example of minimal house with Justice. With hypnotic synths that echo about on the far horizon, they're met head-on by a huge round bassline.
When the drums join in, in full, that same kind of laid-back but very danceable vibe comes through again, it's impossible to not bop your head along, at least.
Uh-oh, here comes Dutch weirdy Ferro with his track Semmer. Gone are the straight 4x4 beats of previous, we're welcomed by a sordid little piece of off-kilter, fucked up minimal.
At nine minutes long, Semmer is quite a piece of work and if you could find the right kind of dancefloor I'm sure it would drive them insane, if they weren't a little already.
Last comes the crackling, low-down vibes of Ghent badman Steve Abot who gives us the very cinematic, moody sounds of Sovereign.
Though only on their third release, with tracks like these, infuse are making their sound known very quickly. Quite possibly the new home of deep and moody bass-filled house in London.
