Techno Vinyl New Releases - News

When they felt that the world around them became a place too chaotic to live, they knew that nature and music where there to calm their spirits and bring a sense for living. They are a musical trio who named themselves Lisiere Collectif in order to bring an ovation to what brought Bogdan Ardeleanu, Andu Simion, and Dan Gheorghe together. A minimalist and well controlled style is their productions' main characteristic, just like the movement of natural elements in the wind's blow. Although the project was born in the suburbs of Ploiesti City, their tunes travel through souls of many techno passionate people around the world.

Lisiere Collectif returns on their own label with LSR No. 03 EP, a collection of two original tracks and a great reinterpretation by Vlad Caia and Cristi Cons, formerly known as Sideways Invisibility Theory or simply - SIT.

Late August will see B.SOUL Music Limited release the various artists package 'Thanks 4
Nothin'', a four-track vinyl only release from the Tuscan imprint.
Marcos Baiano's B.SOUL imprint was launched in 2013 and across its back catalogue has
welcomed an array of classic and contemporary talents onto its roster from House legend Jovonn
through to Music For Freaks co-founder Justin Harris and Parisian producer Terence :Terry. Here
we see the label push on with its second vinyl release set to be released via its Ltd offshoot and
offered up as a various artist four track package.
Bosconi Soundsystem artist Rufus takes the lead on the release with 'Realize Dis' with classic
house tropes, employing a bumpy swinging rhythm as the foundation whilst murky pad swells and
spoken word vocals ebb and flow throughout the composition. Label-head Marcos Baiano follows
with 'Nullll', stripping things back to shuffled hats and wandering rave stabs before the latter stages
introduce a warm ethereal pad.
Opening up the flip side is Retro Activity aka Ivan Iacobucci's 'Rocket' edging things into Techno
territory with weighty drums, mind bending synth flutters and an ever-unfolding, billowing
atmosphere. DRMC's 'Do Not Disturb' then closes the package on a minimal tip with modulating
percussion, minute organic drum shots and airy pad lines laid out over its seven and a half
minutes.

Italian producer Battista delivers the fifth release for Miami based label Sports Records. SR005 is the highlight of Sports releases to date. 300 copies, vinyl only.

Beatniks LDN’s first foray onto wax see’s minimal mainstay ADMNTi release a flavour filled EP with help from Niko Maxen and Casey Spillman. The A-side provides the bass driven original “Make It So”. With subtle elements dropping in and out, the lead track provides the vibe for Niko Maxen’s skippy remix following up with the perfect bounce. The B-side see’s “Riker” rear its head - a simple yet effective bassline with soothing pads is the ultimate bobbler. The second serving also see’s Casey Spillman enter the fray, his fast paced remix taking the synth elements to another level. All in all, half decent beats.

In A side we find the well known Jack Wickham with 'Aiol', a dancefloor track with endless rolling drums and some acid sounds inside. After that, a perfect bassline coming up from A2, the canadian talent Paolo Rocco made his best with his 'Vieux Velo'. Instead the B side starting with a more experimental track from the 'hardworking' V.I.C.A.R.I. where bass and Melodies are perfectly mixed together. Fourth track coming out from a new english mastermind, Bobby O'Donnell, that made a superb hypnotic and mental track that you can't overlook.
Wonderful artwork by Juli Jah makes this release 'out of this world'.

Indigenous Electronic is proud to present for its third release: 'THIXOTROPY EP', produced and recorded by 'Quan'.

Starting out from more of a conventional musical platform; Quan in recent years turned his attention to live performance, and by 2018 had already played two Boiler Rooms in his native Vietnam. In addition to recording and performing live, Quan has begun a parallel journey in building his own eurorack modules some of which were used on this debut vinyl release of his. The EP which flies in the face of traditional loop structured song formats, present the hard to find confluence of musicality with technical knowledge.

With early support from XDB, and produced and recorded entirely out the box this is one not to be missed.

Vinyl Only Release! out of print since over 15 years and the tracks were not availlable on any digital platform Alter Ego Recordings - 029

Produced by Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke / Published by copyright control Mastered by Dubplates and Mastering, recut by Stefan Betke at Scape Mastering Berlin Alter Ego Recordings is very pleased, to rerelease this ACID JESUS classic, which is sounding just as fresh as it sounded, when it was released on KLANG ELEKTRONIK back in 1997. The record was out of print since over 15 years and the tracks were not availlable on any digital platform. Based on a very light, but striking ground construction, Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke leading their listeners over delicate fm-synthesis-sounds, minimal clonky bass patterns and snappy percussions to a long intermission breakdown, which reminds us of a starting Boeing 747. Where 'Interstate' plays like an inspired peakhour-jam should, 'Turkey Skank' and 'Hibernation Drive", on the b-side, take on cooler tones for a headier machine-funk ride. The record was played out by dj's like Andrew Weatherall, Matthew Herbert, Luke Slater, Baby Ford, Dj Hell, Ellen Allien, Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos, Michael Mayer etc.

Mihai Popescu aka MP returns at Metereze to pursuit his electronic explorations under Niste Treaba series, chapter 2.2.

This chapter goes beyond your usual 4/4 cup of tea, panning the groove between the persistent lo-fi theme, found throughout the whole release, and MP's signature basslines.
The two record sides mirror each other to perfection: as Infusion and DE go deep into the warm feelings triggered by the housier vibes, the melodic pulses from Phy Ness and
Trem get muffled behind the bassline groove to deliver a darker image of the same somehow nostalgic theme.

Suitable for those of us that seek comfort on a late morning packed dance floor, Niste Treaba 2.2 adds another piece to MP's out of the ordinary appearance.

For their first release ViGi, the new French - Belgian experimental label, entrusts two underground artists known for their subtle and refined productions - Anton Pau (Bulgaria) and Herck (Romania). Together they masterfully deliver Endless Light as a complete night/ after-hour EP.

Anton Pau brings his solid experience initially built on hip hop beats in 2000s, from where his sound has naturally evolved throughout the years to immerse in techno, minimal and deep.
From the release of his atmospheric In Space on DELOOPED in 2014, featuring artists such SUBLEE, MARIIN, or ALEXANDER KYOSEV (who remixed Anton's P-Loop two years later
for his second EP released on NORSE PROJEKT and was played by PETRE INSPIRESCU or CABANNE), Anton has continuously developed and refined his minimal, murky groove.

On his new Endless Light EP, Anton delivers his finest after-hour vision. On Endless Light, we find here again Anton Pau's unique touch: a groovy beat supplied by a smoothing wavy sound, culminating in a very classy and elegant unfolding, matching the
mental after-hour perfectly.

On his turn HERCK delivers his very own interpretation of Endless Light, which will undoubtedly grab all dancers in a beat ! He revisits the track and brings a wide, rich and musically complex display of pulsating sounds, with a rhythmic and bumpy beatline, supported by a wide array of small and intricate details to light up the dancefloor in a flash !

Separation of The Flower Power continues and completes the mystery of A-side like an absolute and natural progression. With its strong and imposing groovy beat, it progresses constantly and results in a fine, subtle and sombre composition of a brilliant and dazzling darkness.

Early supports by artists like PETRE INSPIRESCU, LIZZ, COSMJN, SUCIU, CALLY, POLARIZE, NU ZAU

Myles Sergé aka TRANSLATE's Calder City Development Corp. is back with its 4th release from the legendary FEROX records owner Russ Gabriel. The Relief Ep' is a 3 track exploration into the mind and soul of Mr. Gabriel. Deep cords and driving melodies guide the listener along the way... This one is not to be missed!

Vinyl collectors, record lovers: get yourself ready to watch this black gold getting "Straight in Business" as native italian Andrew Soul strikes into vinyl only record label Dizzy Tunes.

Andrew's story started behind the turntables, with his pure passion for DJing. He turned his hands to producing and started going more public with it while playing on occasion in nightclubs, adopting a deep ghetto house to techno style, which drops mostly unexpected acid particles in all them bits and pieces.

He'll never let you anticipate what's happening throghout his sets or productions - you gotta listen and love, getting straight into business. The four tracker is being released in limited numbers, holding an exclusive remix by well-known artist DJ Krime.

After a successful first release, ABS are delighted to welcome new faces to its series of many.

The Second Addition enlists the skills of Italian DJ and producer Andrea Caioni and Israeli-born Stephan Bazbaz, alongside powerhouse remixes from Michael James and Sydney born Monika Ross.

On the A side of this club-friendly and intergalactic cut, is Andrea Caioni. Born out of beautiful San Benedetto del Tronoto in Italy, his sounds are characterised by minimal grooves and numinous pads and has previously had the privilege of releasing music on (IO) Mulen's Hoarder last year as well as being a part of the eminent op:um parties based in his home town. Remixing this mesmerising track, is the man on fire, Michael James. 2018 was a big year for the UK local, where many of vinyl only releases on Mulen Records & Constant Sound saw almost instant sell outs, that lead to him being invited to play at Carl Cox's 'One Night Stand' parties based in Ibiza. Whilst Michael's sought-after tracks have gained support from the likes of Apollonia, Enzo Siragusa, and Jorge Savoretti to name a few, this is a super special remix and a dance floor essential for DJs to load their arsenals with.

Fresh off Archie Hamilton's Moss Co. is a previous ABS recruit, Stephan Bazbaz. Having attended the S.A.E Institute in Byron Bay, Australia, he then moved on to curate sounds and frequencies that would soon reshape house music, both internationally and in his home town of Tel Aviv, where he has been running his vinyl only label (No Waves Rec), established in 2016. A close friend of Stephan, and now Berlin local-spintsress Monika Ross commands a cruisy, yet powerful and refined remix. Constantly raising her head above the barrier, her sounds reflect a wealth of creativity and aims to constantly add the right amount of sensuality evidenced by swinging percussive grooves and infectious basslines. She recently had the opportunity to remix for the freshly imprinted vinyl only Subsonic Music label and will play alongside Bazbaz at the 10-year anniversary of the widely acclaimed Australian Subsonic Music Festival on November 30th, where Subb-An, Traumer, Raresh, and Perlon Trio, Zip, Sammy Dee, & Fumiya Tanaka are set to headline.

Support from: Spokenn (Ferro & Reiss), Seb Zito, Willers Brothers, Swoy, Enzo Siragusa, Archie Hamilton, Rossko, Ben Rau, & Rich Nxt

Dub is the keyword, techno is the way. The very first Autarchy release represents a rapidly and constantly changing momentum. There is a black and white atmosphere that surrounds the whole vinyl four-tracker. The skilled Italian duo ALPI make their mark on the A side, together with the Wrong Assessment darker reinterpretation, shaped around solid textural processing and raw rhytmatics. It's mainly a techno release, yet XDB delivers his own breakbeatish and more reflective vision of the B side, produced by label artists Complementary Opposites. The label is at the moment under the radar, working through a connection operating into events, music production and label management in between Italy and Germany.

David Carretta is better known with many releases on DJ Hell's International Deejay Gigolo Label, his own label Space Factory and of course productions with his long time friend The Hacker. Samo Records is very pleased to introduce the debut EP from Russian Chandeliers, a new project by Julian Grefe (Pink Skull) and Fringe Society (formerly known as Quell). Berliners by way of Philly and Athens (Greece), respectively, the studiomates have perfectly fused the best bits of their signature styles to create a record that's equally suited for headphones and dancefloors.

"Worm In Worm Out" (A1) kicks things off with a chunky, chuggy rhythm that indeed worms its way into your brain, sprinkling vaguely psychedelic echoes throughout.

"Stay In Seattle" (A2) is a slow-burning charmer that layers bleeps and sizzles over a dark and mesmerizing bassline.

Zombies in Miami put a slightly spooky, frantic spin on "Stay In Seattle" for their mix (B1), turning the moody paranoia into a deliciously foreboding frenzy.

MR TC's take on "Worm In Worm Out" (B2) ups the psychedelia, tones down the bass, and gently hypnotizes you into the best kind of euphoric haze.

"Kosmonauten Aceed" (B3) is an immediately captivating slice of industrial-laced acid with just the perfect amount of krautrock drizzled in.

Played by Dave Clarke, Marcel Dettmann, DJ Hell, The Hacker, Felix da Housecat, Marcel Fengler, 2000 And One, Mark Broom, Dario Zenker, Keith Carnal, Spartaque, Funk D'Void, Marco Bailey, S-File, Arnaud Le Texier, Bas Mooy, Luigi Madonna, Progression UK, Unbalance...

In the year 2000, David Carretta released his fantastic Machine is Breading EP on the french label Thrust. Machines Invasion was a huge success for Carretta. 17 years later we release the track again on 12inc and for the very first time as Digital with a new remastered version and a powerful new Turbo Turbo Remix. That release is after the huge success of Never Control, a big highlight in this year GND catalog. We hope that you are as much excited as we are about this new old Carretta record!
