Duesseldorf germany based Holzplatten is back with a new 12" Techno release for the year 2012. It's time Holzplatten to celebrate the 100th catalogenumber. The 100th anniversary features Labelhead Brixton's Lekker. Pure and timeless techno at it's best. In cooperation with Bjoern Bommersheim (Björn Bommersheim) known from various Holzplatten releases the track Gutenberg strikes with some Ravesounds back from the older days. All things in life are cyclical so Quanticman Records returns to the birthplace to celebrate it's 5th year of existence.

It all begun with a group of people that wanted to have a platform where they could evolve.

The label had a boost of popularity when it debuted on vinyl with artists like : Horatio , Bastian Schuster , Pablo Cahn , Los Updates .... and kept getting popularity.

Quanticman Records quickly established itself as an fresh mix of dub tehnoish , minimalistical , housy sound , all with a specific romanian twist....

Beeing supported by the grand masters: Raresh , Ricardo Villalobos , Luciano , Loco Dice , Richie Hawtin , DJ Sneak , Dubfire proved once again that the label has found an identitiy among club people , djs and more.

Now we are returning to our roots and we want to celebrate this special events with a party and a 5 years double vinyl release.

Penultimate track .Outshine' masterfully reintroduces ethereal hints of melancholia over an undulating groove. Finally .Look At The Harlequins' serves as an album closer like none other, a perfect distillation of a sound that unfolds like a dystopian nightmare; but one that's sure to play a part in the most hedonistic moments of dancefloor abandon. For the EPs, Exercise One invited some of their talented friends from along the journey to remix their favourite tracks of the duo's back catalogue, for vinyl and digital release. The relationship with each chosen remixer is a story of its own woven across the years, too many anecdotes for this press release but buy them a Hefeweizen and they'll happily share those tales. EP 3 sees Peter Van Hoesen .Wandering' with a swaggering low-end and kitchen-sink percussion that gifts Donato Dozzy the opportunity to pick up the pace and instil a hint of malicious intent with his dusttreated version of .Prowl'. Finally the duo's dearest mad professor Jacopo Carreras pulls us out of the trip and places us firmly back on the dancefloor. Where it all begins and ends.

Vinyl only,
After several release as TC Studio, his project with Matei Tulbure, and the recent launch of his own label, with a precious double vinyl from the duo in tandem with Onur Ozer, Traian Chereches release for the first time with his own name 'Permanent Midnight'.
A 2 tracks EP on Sleep Is Commercial Limited, that testify the talent of the young producer and his attitude for his trade-mark sound: a new style, an hypnotic crossover of house and minimal techno.
To complete the release a massive remix delivered from one member of Ar:pi:ar, Petre Inspirescu.
'Permanent Midnight' will be release on vinyl only, 400 copies.

Adrian Niculae better known as Priku is one of bucharest's finest djs and producers as well. After realeasing for labels like arpiar and all inn he now decided to start his own path. Motif will probably feature most of his works from now on, plus some of his close aquaintance's.

Acustic is the name chosen for motif 01 and experiment is the game. Not sounding too far from his last experience on arpiar, Bonita mariposa is a dreamy yet pumping track, filled with shakers and spikes that go along perfectly with the dark piano. Afterhour delight or possibly an intricate starter, who could tell . Marker keeps the darkness but inserts more rhythm, more percussion, more mystery. Micro house is blended with 808 rims and an addictive synth that is sure to keep you moving. 180g pressing

'The end user has now become obsolete. We are just an entity that sell goods. We are not the target but on the contrary a mean to make profit.

The 4th release from Ljudverket introduces a new artist to the label; Vesa-Matti Kivioja brings us a 7-track journey into sound on his debut vinyl 'Lopun ajat'. Dark and mysterious all the way, this record follows the path of eclectic sounds with nordic flavor that Ljudverket has provided so far.

After launching Save The Blessed with 'Don't Touch The K:raal EP'-a two-track release from Francesco "Belfie" Belfiore, complete with remix from Restoration's Xenogears (aka The Analogue Cops)-comes the fledgling vinyl-only house's second instalment, which sees S.T.B. head team up with Rush Hour mainstay San Proper. For a decade San Proper has enjoyed cult status in Holland, particularly in his hometown of Amsterdam where he cut his teeth spinning eclectic sets long before taking to the studio. Production-wise, since joining the Dutch electronic institute with his 'Amsterdam Family' series back in 2007-which saw San Proper collaborate with a medley of known and unknown producers-he has continued to impress with his heady, idiosyncratic take on house and disco, formulating a recognisable live sonic signature that came to a head on his debut full length 'Animal', released last summer. 'Faulkner EP' consolidates Save The Blessed's dedication to analogue craft with an original dubbed-out house work from Francesco Belfiore, rearranged by San Proper on the B-side in token eccentric fashion with vocals and thrumming guitar-redolent bass. For sound aficionados and quirky night owls who enjoy a hefty dose of underground with their wonky, well formed house.

Aksutique is the moniker of Matthias Springer for his deep ambient techno, dub techno and downbeat productions. Matthias has released several productions over the years, ranging from techno to chill out music under different names. The Notch Fields EP is the first vinyl release for Aksutique and features 3 tracks of aquatic dub influenced deepness that sucks you right into its maelstrom of endless echoes, synth swirls, noises and reverberated chords. 'Echolot' for example is a pure intense submarine cinematographic infinite journey that takes you into the depths and never lets you free again. The record features an additional dark and electronic rework by Valanx aka Arne Weinberg that drenches the original in eerie voices, electronic sounds and deep bass. Not for the faint hearted.
300 handnumbered limited vinyl copies only. No digital distribution.

big with: Arpiar Crew, Vlad Caia, Cristi Cons, Fumiya Tanaka, Vera, Daze Maxim, Jan Krueger, Ricardo Villalobos, Alex Smoke, Pheek, Ditch, Bruno Pronsato.....Pluie/Noir is finally back with a two-track EP from Vlad Caia. Swan Lake shows with finesse his staggering skills to craft cinematographic atmospheres in danceable patterns, bending musical styles and constantly reminding us that club music can be so much more. Both sides share the same classical-inspired background while still being quite different in mood and lightness. Striking at 14 minutes each, the progression on these tracks remain sophisticated and visionary, messing with your head and heart in unexpected ways. 'Swan Lake' is a delicate yet striking piece, with a precise yet unusual drum-programming and intelligent classical-music sampling. The flip-side 'Eternal Sunshine' is a darker toned track, with slight-flashes of acid in it's core bass-line and ever-lifting tense chords that unexpectedly rumble between the intense atmosphere and lift both your body and soul. Artwork was handpainted by designer Max Binski, Pluie/Noir's curator and art director.

500 COPIES - NO REPRESS - NO DIGITAL RELEASE!
"Redpanda is a new vinyl-only label from Moscow run by Roustam (All Inn, Gipsy). Its main focus is in featuring great forward thinking artists that are creating the music of tomorrow and releasing it on wax with the highest standards of quality!

The first release comes from the Romanian wunderkids Phrasis Veteris with The Nocturn Ep and what a treat it is. A lot of has been said about the amazing Romanian scene recently — some say it's full of hype, others think it saved dance music. We're going to refrain from making any judgments and want to just let the music speak for itself, because in the end that's what really matters!

The A-side kicks off with Drumtalk — a funky, syncopated upbeat number. This is a great percussive jam already supported with the like of Onur Ozer, Raresh. It's followed by the title track Nocturn, which gives atmosphere and feeling to the entire release.

The flipside features Sundaymoon a deep and introspective cut for your mind, body and soul, as they say. Soulspeak rounds off the release on a more positive note with bright interludes and a tight groove. This release is perfect for the spring time and gives us hope for a better tomorrow with good music. Full support from Petre Inspirescu, Valentino Kanzyani, Livio & Roby and many others. Enjoy!"

With this Fizzmint 12" vinyl-only release under his Borealis pseudonym, Jesse Somfay (Traum, Archipel, ) releases something completely different, yet so complementary, compared to his 2012 debut release on Origami. On this track, with a total duration of 13 minutes, Borealis pushes the envelope in his experiments of deeper Techno infused with darker multi-layered ambient reaching the sweet spot to the perfect soundtrack of a pumping and flowing "Heart"-themed release on Dandelion Lotus' sub-series "Anatomy". On the flip side of this first Anatomy series release is a remix by Lakker (hailed & played by Blawan, Aphex Twin, Autechre,...). Limited vinyl-only edition, with artwork by Alex Konahin. We don't really need to say more, don't we
