In the modern world where musical dystopia has cemented itself in common please, CTSD has stepped up to deliver a 4-track EP of proper, adult-Techno music.

After debuting on the label with his juggernaut track 'Algorithmica', the aptly named 'Vortextual' EP delivers a sonic landscape that's embellishing his status as an artist of immeasurably sonic capabilities. This time, with a full body of work to display, he is giving us a masterclass of unconventional and forward thinking sound design across all 4 tracks.

LWS debuts on can you feel the sun. We hear nature being carved like a pumpkin. We hear the exhalation in an easy breath, the inhalation through a morning mist. We hear it’s time to eat and the table is heaving with grapes and custards. We thank the DJs who have been playing this to the moon and the stars and the dancers wide awake.

The third compilation (of four instalments) in the Various Artists catalogue of Pi Electronics is hitting physical and digital stores around the globe on the 10th of February 2023.

The concept of releasing artists, who performed at Pi parties (2014-2019) along with musicians who stood close to the label before and during its activity, gathers 18 tracks to the Limitation Compilation.

Music by New York City industrial legend Adam X, Swedish master mind producer Peder Mannerfelt and Irish Techno figure, Eomac (also one half of Lakker) finally takes its place on the label catalogue, along with tracks by the electro side of Italian born producer, Alessandro Adriani and the sound-aesthetic of UK hailing musicians, Slave to Society (formerly AnD ) and Sam KDC.

Berlin artists Alekzandra and Interviews appear with a synth leaning piece, and a hypnotic, broken techno contribution respectively.

You can also meet the sound of Tel Aviv's finest electro duo TV.OUT on this release, which also includes a rare collaboration track by Ireen Amnes and Gramrcy.

Finally, 'Limitation' presents music by Greece affiliated acts of different backgrounds: from the dreamy guitars of Monochromatic Visions and the ambient/drone of Devika, to the broken beats of Zevla and the rolling techno of Thanos Hana; Not to mention the textures of noise band Phallucipher, the industrial slo mo techno of Thessaloniki's, Archaic Intellect, and the noise-techno of label founder, 3.14.

A crossroad of different genres and production styles is offered in the formats of Double Vinyl Sampler, Double CD and digital for this compilation, titled "Limitation".

Matthias Koch isa totalnutcaseDJ and producer of some o’the fiercest music ever to come out of Germany.Fromstarting out DJing and creating musicat the beginning of 2000, playing frequently in many of Germany’s notoriously fiendish clubs, an untimely long break of 17 years beckoneddue to unforeseen circumstances. However, he’s now back and ready to turn up the bass once morein search of a new balance in his free time. Franticallyproducingsince 2022, he’squickly developed his ownbrutalstyle, instantly catching the feverish ears of RIOT Radio Records as it’s definitely, defiantlyand undeniably not off-the-peg techno!Continuing with the ‘Limited As Fuck’ series of releases, on our fiercely independent techno label based in Scotland,we’re immensely proud to present Matthias Koch’s first evervinyl release. This is one of the most whackin’, jackin’ and beat crankin’ releases to have ever appeared on our label. Featuring six lethal stompers for the darkest of dance floors and smoke filled basements, each track a lesson in how to pound ravers into submission. Withadditional intrinsicallycontortedmachinations by Nomad, JoeFarr, Angelsand othervice-ridden vintagedemonic consoles, Low Entropy’s Doom laden ‘Stripped’remix for example, this release isgonna leaveyou bewilderedlybeatento the core. The full digital release also features twobonusmonsterous tracks, one of which isarelentlesslyfierce 303 mangling by the acid mastermind himself,Bdacid. Scream if you wanna go faster ..................

WARNING: RIOTous ANGELICSCREAMERS WILL ALWAYS TURN INTO RENEGADES

Having been deck slaying as near their London headquarters as Germany and as far as Canada, goth techno prodigy Lesser Of is steadily approaching double digit release count. With an established residence at queer x trans focused, revolutionary event series Subverted, their efforts have been welcomed to a formidable list of industrial electronic labels and remixed by a tidy sum of high profile scene icons.

Here at Depth.Request our sonars are attuned to emanant potential, and so we conscript Lesser Of to hammer out our fourth acetate offering to date. To this, harsh noise and drone music inspirations are declared, alongside an artistic secret of the trade: lights-off sessions in live room of a recording studio vibrating with the pulse of a bass guitar ran through a freeze pedal were what begot the tracks, and they are well intent on assaulting your headphones with noise. Reeko on the remix - yes, this record fucks.

Prolonged, ominous intro? Nah. Have a face full of Crude Manifestation Of Power instead, as an insatiable, 10-minute long opener braces your ears for a week of ringing with a sonic equivalent of metallic thrashing one could expect from being a sinful, rave-lusting scoundrel. On title-diverting continuation Within My Fragility the words "strength in fragility" are truly alliterated as the pace, abrasiveness and intensity of pummelling are all ramped up fiercely, with linear open hats thrown against them from time to time for good measure. Having reached 140 BPM and concrete mean, Masked proceeds in a well anticipated ra(n)ge: infernal atmosphere, sandy hats and layered tectonic tremors achieved with increasingly undefined low end consisting of a rumble line and rolling kick morphing into abrasive haze. Winding the tempo back a notch, a halftimearranged contemplation Our Descent grows in direct, hyperborean vector: glassy drones and sharp syncopulsation first - atonal reverberations, distorted arpeggios and punchy stabs endwise. Reeko's analog reinvention of Masked convolves the drum structure by borrowing from breakbeat narratives and authorizes the dystopian ambiance to rise and fall on more gradual, panning, confined terms; adding, however, more disorder to the mix with spectrum slicing, high-range chaos.

As you would have learned to expect from Depth.Request, Within My Fragility EP is not an easy listening five-tracker. If by the end of it you find yourself feeling as if you just stepped out of a pounding warehouse at 3AM and you don't know what day it is, you wouldn't have been experiencing this mindspace alone.

We want to celebrate the 5th Volume of our best series "Raving Disorder" in a special way.
