A Sagittariun’s third album chronicles the journey back to Telepathic Heights; an expedition that encounters many obstacles along the way. The feuding parties of the two planets make for a journey of determination and self-discovery for our techno lone ranger that will ultimately deliver him to the sacred site on which Telepathic Heights stands. Conceived as a space western soundtrack to the cinematic interpretation of this tale, Return To Telepathic Heights delivers ten chapters that journal the ultimate mission to reach the imposing tower of Telepathic Heights, where dream telepathy has become the primary communicative tool amongst its peaceful and harmonious community who have opted out of the planetary war that continues to rage, seemingly with no armistice anytime soon. The score fittingly winds its way through the trials and tribulations of this journey, blending minimal and harmonic rhythms, industrial funk, dreamy synthwave and transcendental techno into the rich tapestry of music that documents the ‘Return To Telepathic Heights’. The album features original artwork by Johnny Bruck, fully licensed, and taken from the legendary German science fiction novel series, ‘Perry Rhodan’, which ran weekly from the early 1960s, and was the most successful sci-fi book series ever written.

The EP kicks off with the elecronica mood of XTC, followed by a classic 4/4 Corp action track Neurotic.

The B side opening is a trip on the artist's underworld, a techno banger which is clearly Berlin infused. The closing track Re-Active perfectly mesh some qwerky acid bassline from the nineties and proper rhythms to shake any dancefloor.

Long time unsung UK techno artist Aubrey is to release Gravitational Lensing, a first artist album since 2001 and his third in all. It lands in early 2019 on Out-ER and across 12 tracks it finds him getting more personal and instinctive than ever before with jazz, techno, broken beat and house all colouring this most coherent of musical adventures.
Aubrey s discography dates back to the early nineties, when he was a key part of the UK scene on labels like Solid Groove, Textures and Mosaic. Up there with the greats from Chicago and Detroit, he has turned out a steady stream of music that marries perfect dance floor functionality with real musical invention. Always inspired by anything deep with a good groove, everything from synth band Japan to funk king George Clinton, electro break beats to Jean Michel Jarre all inform his work.

As a DJ, he cut his teeth playing the biggest raves in the UK with names like Carl Cox and Eddie C having been swept up by the acid house records that hit English stores when he was just 15. Add in a love of jazz, ambient and US house, and you have all the eclectic influences that this criminally under-the-radar artist has drawn on for his latest album.

It is one that finds him really put his personal stamp on his sound. It s a chance to be more who you are and what you feel without pressure to conform to a particular sound, it s a chance to be free, says the artist of the album process. It was partially produced at Out-ER s studio in Nard , Lecce over the course of a year s worth of studio jam sessions, and is his finest and most cinematic work to date.

Things kick off with the ambient synth modulations of Aerglo Visible before exquisitely loose jazz drums and sci-fi pads suspend you in the cosmos on Floating to Rigel. There is an experimental feel to the off grid drums, rippling chords and drunken keys of Doctor Portia that keeps you brilliantly off balance, and the first deep techno trip is Journey To the Blue Planet , which has gorgeous ambience swirling over rolling, dubby kicks and soulful Detroit synth work. Carrying on through more lush, musical synth work and inventive drums, there are moments of heads down dance floor power and hi-tech soul, serene techno landscaping and chord-laced deep house that is superbly cerebral throughout the album.

In all, it makes for a complete and storytelling record that draws on a rich variety of genres and reworks them into something deep, multi-layered and hugely emotional that works as well in headphones, at home, as it will in the club.

Acronym returns to his Stilla Ton label with a two-track EP. One could say that with this release, Acronym assumes his ultimate form: the A-side brings us a devastating and room-proven piece of focused and propulsing Techno of the highest order. Cold, shivering synths twirls around the earth shattering beat, which is all held together with a dominant synth line throughout. On the B-side, we are reminded that Acronym not only masters our dance floors but also has a special tendency to capture moments both fragile and powerful. The sonic journey presented here is something special, which surely will keep a wistful dance floor satisfied.

Next move from Artefakt and Delsin is a selection of their label back catalog remixed by a few of their personal favourites in modern techno days. Forest Drive West and Evigt Morker both deliver slamming and hypnotic techno workouts. Where Polar Inertia and Valentino Mora take a dive into deeper territories. It resulted in a well balanced pack of exciting drum grooves, hypnotic loops, smoky dub techno and cinematic ambient.

Electronic music has been quite obsessed with its past canon for a while. Ongoing trends such as the reissue frenzy or the obsession with vintage equipment make it harder than it should be to find music that feels absolutely contemporary. But Cleveland's 'nDSi' is a prime example of it. His new double EP showcases an evolution of his sound into more minimalist and forward-looking grounds. The crystal-like textures and playfulness are still there, but displayed with a much more ambitious approach. The seven tracks of the double EP are an exploration of futuristic soundscapes delineated with swirling tones, understated rhythms and ever-evolving patterns. Often drawing inspiration from "happy accidents with half broken synthesizers", Andrea Mancini works with the frictions of apparently contradictory ideas to come across a sound that defies the conventions of modern club-ready music without loosing its primary appeal. The textures might be cold but the vibes are warm, the sounds might be technological but the spirit is lively, the structures might be volatile but the impact is immediate. 'nDSi' not only creates a world of its own but also an impressively balanced one. As with any novelty, it might feel awkward at first, but its weirdness manifests itself in a refreshingly na?ve way, dodging any kind of excessive pretentiousness or overproduction. Truly one of the most stimulating works we've heard in a while. The double 12" comes housed in a sleeve by Barcelona based designer Guillermo Lucena.

On their debut album as DOVS, Tin Man and AAAA summon the ethereal spirit of acid. Tin Man, AKA Johannes Auvinen, has been studying the emotional potential of the Roland TB-303 for 15 years now, and AAAA (Gabo Barranco), a fixture of the Mexico City underground, might as well be his acolyte. While the coincidental similarities of their studio and live approaches make this collaboration feel natural, even expected, Silent Cities is anything but. We recognize most of the elements here—the ubiquitous acid box and hardware drum machines—yet Auvinen and Barranco arrive in new, mysterious territory this time out. Lush arpeggiation, breakbeats and atmosphere imbue tracks like 'Nostalgic Oblivion' with a widescreen grandeur. 'Rene Figures' recalls Specific Momentific-era Cristian Vogel, symphonic, melodic techno with a kick heavy enough for dark, cavernous rooms. Meanwhile, beatless cuts like 'Whining Acid' are as intricately crafted as Tin Man's well-loved classical work (Vienna Blues). But as a duo, they craft a virtuosic harmonic narrative almost solely with 303s. Tin Man and Donato Dozzy's 'Nonneo' was the first release on Acid Test, setting the tone for the label and unlocking new potential for the genre. DOVS' closer on Silent Cities, 'Diazepam Blues', is the label's new melancholic acid anthem and a statement of purpose for Tin Man and AAAA, two hardware masters who have created an album of remarkable emotional depth.

Silent Season welcomes Russian producer Toki Fuko to the roster for this special versions edition double 12"" of deeper soundscapes. Toki Fuko's music can be described as mechanical signals structured in a hypnotic substance with a dub techno groove and rhythm sequences. The Spring Ray vinyl edition features 4 versions of Spring Ray, each unique in their own sense. The versions were specially mastered and cut by Stefan Betke of Scape Mastering. The 20th release from Nina Kraviz's seminal imprint is an homage to some of the most uncompromising manifestations of electronic music imaginable. Tracing sub-cultures from the 90s to the present day, 20 interrogates the boundaries of tempo and form via hardcore, gabber, acid techno and ambient. A mix of unreleased material and essential gems, the ten-track compilation visits regulars, esoteric masters and relative newcomers on a voyage to the extremities of a global underground.

20 continues the tradition of gatefold double EPs as a conceptual album. All of the tracks are selected around a particular story, a trip, and presented as a continuous sonic landscape. All of the tracks are structured in a way that they can be mixed one with another an endless amount of times making a continuous loop, a trip, that needs only end when the party stops. Kraviz works without release dates or deadlines, enabling her to achieve a certain sound bank to shape the story, unmasking the thoughts and unraveling like a dream.

“?” (or, “1000”) is an extended player album from Cleveland, Ohio based electronic duo Organic Dial. The duo consisting of Andrew Veres and John Elliott (Emeralds, Spectrum Spools etc) delves further into their discoveries in beatless space and idiosyncratic dub. While extrapolating on the themes of the 2018 “Pristiq” ep, “?” shows a more refined and minimal approach to the developing sound Organic Dial is after. “?” is the first in a new series designed to sprawl across multiple 12”s, with the new Litmus Supply imprint launched to accommodate the material. Organic Dial aims to experiment with the 12” format by combining longform drones, murky rhythm experiments and lush sound scenes designed to continuously form an ever present and ongoing full length album.

Morchelle is finally back. Groovy and catchy sounds give birth to an awesome 2 tracks EP by Gerardo & Carlo Santi. Definitely a must-have.

The latest release on Dublin label First Cut sees Esoteric Orchestra drop three tracks of the deepest of deep house and techno. Inspired by a trip to Italy.

Alexi Delano and Jesper Dahlbäck is back together. It has gone 7 years since their latest release Guts To Move on ISL.

This brand new release on Kalvaberget is a deep and dubby techno EP. The first track burst out with the classic Delano-Dahlbäck sound. Raw 909 HH Fetish Dub.

The second track is a more straightforward dirty gentle-pumping-big-industrial-room 4/4 banger.

Cement returns with its second story - this time delving deeper into the dub techno abyss on the A-side with Montreal veteran Mateo Murphy's banger "Black River". It has peak hour written all over it with its full-on sound and tantilising dub atmosphere; a dark flowing bassline builds into a droney crescendo. Next Sonitus Eco of Silent Season, his label HAAV and the crucial Verdant delivers a coup de grace of dub techno. Stripped back with an effective 808 pattern, his tenacity with pads and atmospheric space echo gives "Ruffcut" its character and leaves you wanting more.
On the flip side, the elusive CMNT returns for another arpeggio-laden journey. With a constant kick and airy hats pattern, occasional stabs, melodic notes and some random human voices give texture to "White Heat".
Finally, label founder Caspian Rabone's electro moniker Fourmatic, drops a spacey electro workout "Ectosketch". Playing with tonal rhythms, the track unveils awkward synth hooks and metallic strings to keep things edgey.

On the flipside, Electro Magicians', written along with Ghost Ride, signs one of A Credible Eye Witness most nasty anthem, serving up a sinister tune surrounded with industrial tones, intricate lyrics and bubbling 303 loops. A track that will haunt your mind for a while! Last but not the least, untouchable 'Prediction' brings that familiar vintage A.C.E.W style you are looking for thanks to hypnotic 909/808 kicks, synthetic swirls and heading melodies. A club banger for sure! From A to Z, massive 'Magnetic Frequencies EP' gives you what you have come to expect from A.C.E.W imprint, introducing enough vibes and dancefloor moments to propel us into the future!

Slovenian artist EB King provides GLYK with three magnificent jams. One shines like a juicy nightshade berry on a silver plate. The other is the soundtrack for moody werewolves on full moon and the last invites you to an afterhour on Steve Zissous submarine.

After releasing HVL's Away From Everything We Know 12" back in 2015, Organic Analogue welcome the Georgian producer back to present his long-awaited debut album. As a resident of the much-vaunted club BASSIANI, HVL conceived Ostati as a document of the sound of Tbilisi - centred on warm, outboard house and techno but with a noticeably understated mood.
The club tracks take a pared down approach that favours space and meditation over bold brush strokes, but between the teeth-gnashing bite of "Askinkila" or the rough and ready acid workout "Continuum," the sound is gutsy and dripping with character. Ostati spells out a space where dim lights and mysterious corners provide a playground for wild ideas to dart around in the dark. The overall atmosphere may appear subdued, but it's merely a cover for the fiery spirit lurking underneath.

Amandra + Ovend = Ovandra. The two French artists team up for an LP on their joint label Ahrpe. "Retrofuture" is out on March 15th.

Since the beginning of the label, the two minds behind Ahrpe Records knew they would work together at some point, but things often take time. Away from Ahrpe, Ovend's productions so far have found a home on Tale Of Us' label Afterlife, whilst Amandra has appeared on the likes of Semantica and Tikita. Now, following two weeks spent in Amandra's studio in Warsaw, the pair's styles merge seamlessly into a well-balanced, stirring sound that blurs the lines between techno and trance.

The opener "Dolphin" sets the tone. Amandra"s infinitely-evolving grooves roll with restrained percussion and subtle developments, Ovend's trancey synth lines snake in-and-out. The tracks that follow offer variations on a focused theme; there's acid murmurs and driving beats in the more introspective, voodoo techno cuts "Souvenir Souvenir" or "Wet Sahara", and dreamy melodies on the title track.

Without ever leaning too heavily on nostalgia, the record's bright harmonics evoke the euphoria of the European clubbing heyday. "Retrofuture" emits an energy that exceeds its measured tempo, a blend of modern and vintage ideas. "Golden Vanilla" provides an epic high towards the end, where a synth lead glows like a ray of light through the hazy atmosphere. A pair of breathtaking beatless pieces complete a coherent and fresh LP which looks to stand the test of time and offer DJs something different.

De:tuned continue to celebrate their 10th anniversary with this second EP of the series and dive deep down into the ambient techno world. The A side makes you drift away on a rare Sun Electric get together, followed by a Higher Intelligence Agency piece of beauty. DeepChord's dubbed lushness completes this highly intense journey.
Kevin Foakes (Openmind, DJ Food, Ninja Tune) created all the graphic work. Pressed on 180 gr vinyl and a separate digital version will be available from the usual digital shops. Stay tuned!

Inspired by the resounding contrast, the one that maintains the balance in between two concepts. It doesn't matter how distant they are.

Leiras delivers a new excursion on this new 12", exploring the wasteland and the hostile terrains, but somehow luminous, sometimes even pleasing. Under this apparent antithesis, the first part of "Turquoise Tundra" starts in a tipping point.

"Body Language" offers a mixture of the layers with arid and resonant sounds combined, in which atmospheres have also an important role, melting everything in a solid result.

Direct, dry, evolutive. Convincingly basic. This is "Atalaya". A tool necessary in case you get lost in the middle of nowhere. Pure muscle definition.

Continuing in the other side of the record, we discover one of the most visceral and raw exercises from Ownlife's boss. In "The Rebis", the bubbly sound of the bass, and the driving kick, make this track a defensive wall, like a scar on the terrain. A place where you can take refuge when it's necessary.

In the other extreme, the pure turquoise tone gives way to the breaks and more complex structures. "North State" resumes the sings of identity that define this artist. A narrative touch that builds the bridge to the second and last part of this project... TO BE CONTINUED.

Indigenous Electronic is proud to present for its third release: 'THIXOTROPY EP', produced and recorded by 'Quan'.

Starting out from more of a conventional musical platform; Quan in recent years turned his attention to live performance, and by 2018 had already played two Boiler Rooms in his native Vietnam. In addition to recording and performing live, Quan has begun a parallel journey in building his own eurorack modules some of which were used on this debut vinyl release of his. The EP which flies in the face of traditional loop structured song formats, present the hard to find confluence of musicality with technical knowledge.

With early support from XDB, and produced and recorded entirely out the box this is one not to be missed.

Jujuka is a multidisciplinary art project and record label that involves rhythm composer and DJ Julia Govor and London-based Illustration duo Le.BLUE. The project is about music, short narratives, true stories, comics and illustration, where the artists behind the project want to go beyond what the conventional
record label offers.
