All Them Witches are an American rock band from Nashville,
Tennessee. The band consists of drummer Robby Staebler,
vocalist / multi-instrumentalist Charles Michael Parks Jr.,
guitarist Ben McLeod and keyboardist Allan Van Cleave.
 The band’s musical style incorporates elements from multiple
genres, such as hard rock, stoner rock, psychedelia, neopsychedelia, blues, folk and southern rock; however, Julian
Marszalek of The Quietus noted that: “... this isn’t blues of the
‘woke-up-this-morning’ variety but one of malaise, anxiety and
fear brought on a by world seemingly dead set on destruction;
nor is this an escapist variant of psychedelia wherein one form
of reality is jettisoned in favour of another for reasons of cheap
thrills.”

Nottingham don Lukas Wigflex and "The Wizard" Tom Smith come correct with their Me & Meds project. Following on from their debut together on Wigflex, the follow up is just as inventive & playful.

2 years in the making- the studio skills of the pair shine through across the 3 tracks. The opener "Curtains Nine Tails" moves and warps over the first few minutes only to penetrate the listener with a crescendo of god-like basslines and tripped out vocals.

Faffhammer which gained big popularity when Lukas played it on that boat party at Love International is an atmospheric, wonked out euphoric number of the highest order.

The records finished off with the offside ramblings of another notorious Notts head - Des Hagenasty. This is his first outing on wax and it does not disappoint, backed by the analog wobbles and techno grit of Me & Meds, this one bites. The videos an eye opener too, just you wait!

Hours of audio from the original studio sessions and live shows have now been curated under by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson and album producer George Drakoulias. The new collection features 5 unreleased songs including the should have been a single studio track “Charming Mess” along with studio recording covers of Humble Pie’s “30 Days In The Hole” and John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy”. The set also includes 2 previously unreleased demos from when the band was originally called Mr. Crowe’s Garden and liner notes penned by David Fricke.

The original album has been newly remastered from the original tapes.

Also unearthed were the original multitrack tapes from the band’s homecoming concert. Recorded over two nights at Atlanta, GA’s Center Stage, the full concert is now available for the first time ever. Previously, only the live version of “She Talks To Angels” was released from this show.

Valley Maker is the music project of Austin Crane. When the Day Leaves is his 4th album and 2nd for Frenchkiss Records. The album is all about Austin's transition from Seattle to his home state South Carolina.

The truth is out there...

Exactly one year after Developer's 5 year anniversary release on Modularz which also was also celebrated in a special label night at Berlin's premiere techno club Berghain back in November 2015. He returns for is next ep named "Dispatches from LA" Developer went to his home city of LA over the summer 2016 to play a calendar of shows in the US and to record this ep from his 2nd studio in Los Angeles. Its more of his trademark sequenced based yet hypnotic sound with a bit more of analog gear used for this one.

The Sound of Now...mentioned in 'The Return of Jack Slade' by Derrick Morgan was the sound of 1969/1970 and that sound was the sound of Jamaican Reggae.The look at the time was the Skinhead fashion borrowed heavily from the Jamaican Rude Boy style.
The Skinhead movement started around 1968 and by the following year of 1969 became the style and fashion of many British teenagers.The uniform of the Skinheads consisted of boots,braces and jeans and the upbeat Reggae sound seemed to match the style perfectly.
Never before has a music matched a look more perfectly than that of the Skinhead/Rude Boy and Jamaican Reggae sound.
So stand up and move your feet one more time to the Skinhead Reggae Sound!!!

Medical Records releases the first full length LP in 5 years by LA's Geneva Jacuzzi. To say Jacuzzi is a multifaceted artist would be an understatement. She is well known for her uncompromisingly obtuse synth-driven pop and one-of-a-kind performance art that is comprised of one time only spectacles and installations. Her works have been presented in famous art institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art, MOCA and numerous other venues across the globe. She has developed a very focused cult following in the art AND music scenes. She was originally well known for her multitude of self-released home recordings but also released a full length Lamaze in 2010 on the Vinyl International to much acclaim. Not to mention her track The Sleep Room featured on The Minimal Wave Tapes Vol 2. Technophelia is the culmination of a hybrid of DIY and professional studio recordings (with the help of esteemed producer Chris Coady) that resulted in this exquisite album. Features the soon-to-be-hits I'm A TV and Cannibal Babies. Lovers of unique and left-field wave such as Gina X, Ronny, and the like will be transfixed by the raw, oozing newness of it all. Cornetist Don Cherry first rose to prominence as part of the revolutionary Ornette Coleman Quartet that turned the jazz world on its ear in 1959 when it arrived at the Five Spot Café in NYC. Though Cherry co-led the album The Avant-Garde with John Coltrane in 1961, it wasn’t until he signed with Blue Note in 1965 that he began his career as a leader with a run of fiery albums including Complete Communion, Symphony for Improvisers, and 1966’s Where Is Brooklyn? This last session was a highly interactive quartet date that featured Pharoah Sanders on tenor saxophone and piccolo, Henry Grimes on bass, and Ed Blackwell on drums. This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal. from Coleman's playful lyricism.

Moreover, the rhythm team of Ed Blackwell on drums and Henry Grimes on bass provides a scintillating underpinning for the music that is worth listening to all on its own. Sanders' mix of Coltrane's yearning long notes, Ayler's ghostly, fluttering wail, Coleman's fast, bumpy phrasing and his own manic bagpipe screams certainly separates the faint-hearted from the stayers on the opening Awake Nu. But the conversation between Sanders and Cherry is light, lyrical and engaging on The Thing, and the saxophonist even gets into a stubborn, Sonny Rollins-like repeating Latin vamp on There Is the Bomb. Judee Sill was an American singer and songwriter. She released two albums and partially completed a third album before her death in 1979. Sill encountered Graham Nash and David Crosby and toured with them for a time as their opening act, a year before the release of her debut album. She was hired by the Turtles to write songs, on which a few of them appeared on her debut album, such as 'Lady-O'. Two of Sill's biggest influences were Bach and Ray Charles.

Judee Sill's eponymous debut album of the same name was originally released in late 1971. Backing musicians include John Beck and Jim Pons from the Leaves. The majority of the album was produced by Henry Lewy, noted for his work with Joni Mitchell throughout the 70s. Graham Nash handled the duties for the single 'Jesus Was a Cross Maker' with his production designed to aim for radio airplay before the release of the album. Judee Sill featured Sill's voice in multiple overdubs, often in a four-part chorale or fugue. The songs are delivered in an acoustic style on guitar and, for 'Jesus was a Cross Maker' and 'Enchanted Sky Machines,' on piano. The songs on the album feature elements of folk, country, and gospel, but also strong classical influences.
