"All Reflections Drained" will be released on vinyl for the first time. XASTHUR were originally conceived
by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Scott Conner in California, USA in the year 1995. The project started
out in the vein of bleak black metal in the tradition of the Nordic second wave. Over the course of nine
albums and a host of split-singles, EPs, and occasional demos, XASTHUR's individual, particularly
depressive style became highly regarded within the extreme genre.

Featuring four of Peaceville’s current death metal artists, ‘Peace Till Death’ presents eight tracks of brutality from Autopsy, Cancer, Morta Skuld and Static Abyss.

With Autopsy’s latest masterwork ‘Ashes, Organs, Blood & Crypts’ just released to rave reviews, the legendary lords of gore supply two alternate versions of album tracks prepared especially for this limited release. This is followed by original UK greats Cancer presenting a brand new and exclusive track in the form of ‘Enter the Gates’, a malicious dose of old school metal in Cancer’s distinguishable fashion, leading on to a brand new 2023 “re-dip” cover version of the classic ‘Into the Acid’ from the band’s debut, ‘To the Gory End’.

Next up is long-standing US death masters Morta Skuld, presenting a new track taster in demo form from their upcoming album due for release March 2024 plus, highlighting 30 years since the release of debut ‘Dying Remains’, this release also includes a new rendition of the title track itself. Rounding out the release is Static Abyss, the recently formed act from Greg Wilkinson and Chris Reifert of Autopsy, with two exclusive alternate versions of tracks from their recently released second opus of eerie & monumental death, ‘Aborted from Reality’.

This CD edition of ‘Peace Till Death’ also includes a bonus disc featuring an expansive look at Peaceville’s close association with the genre spanning over three decades, including early masters of the scene such as Paradise Lost, Autopsy, Cancer and Darkthrone, through other influential acts such as At the Gates, Vital Remains plus more progressive death from Opeth and Barren Earth, as well as a whole selection of masters of darkness such as Bloodbath, Behemoth and Napalm Death. Food Music welcomes A1 Bassline to the label to release his first LP - Technicality.

The album's title draws from the club night 'Technicality', a monthly Drum & Bass night at Herbal in East London, which is run by Chris Inperspective and continued the sound of early Reinforced and Metalheadz records as well as pushing new forward thinking music. The album is centred around growing up as a teenager discovering this jungle/drumfunk sound through his college friend Rahim (Lab Creation), where the likes on Fold, Ben UFO, Breakage would attend the club.

In addition to well received records on DirtyBird, Pets Recordings and his collaborative work with Leon Vynehall as Laszlo Dancehall, the album is a stamp on A1's sound and his influences from his teenage years to growing up and discovering House and Techno.

On Depths, Abhoria plays black metal the way the second wave founding fathers intended. Their second full length is a very aggressive platter, opting for modern-sounding, yet icy brutality much of the time. Depths is track after track of relentless black metal that will batter you senseless as you walk the gauntlet that leads towards the album’s epic closer, Winter's Embrace. plastic death - the second album by glass beach - is a follow-up record almost five years in the making. The band's 2019 debut, aptly titled the first glass beach album , has over the years grown a cult fanbase for its unflinching depiction of queer life as mediated through social media, its oversized ambition, and its scrappy yet adventurous production. And while it took some time to arrive, plastic death sounds like the logical expansion of all the things that made their first album so special. Years and years of relentless writing, tinkering demos, cancelled tours and a few lockdowns only strengthen the chaotic core of what makes glass beach' s maximalist approach work so well. Frontperson and primary songwriter J McClendon is joined by lead guitarist Layne Smith, bassist Jonas Newhouse and drummer William White to create something adventurous on each song. Trumpet, trombone, violin, and even marimba dance and bloom alongside the band's own creative and dextrous instrumentation - a stunning, transformative creation that pulls from indie rock, jazz, prog, hardcore, metal, experimental, and beyond. Songs like lead single "the CIA," are examples of the band's ambitious writing. It's a dark, dancy, post-punk/jazz hybrid, a coordinated, breathless braid of synth and saturated guitar. Tension and confusion explode into a brutal modern metal climax to close the track, flickering with glitchy production zaps and razor-sharp stops. The artwork of plastic death is similarly rich with detail, resulting in a bioluminescent, fully-realized double album depicting sprawling scenes where moments of neon brightness shine momentarily in a dark undersea - a metaphor for the moments of optimism and catharsis glass beach provide on these songs. Repress of the out of print 2nd reformation album, initially released in 2017. The duo of GODFLESH, Justin K Broadrick and Ben Green, augmented by Machines, are seen as a pivotal entity in the world of 'heavy' music, impacting entire cultures of heavy music since the bands inception in 1988. It is regarded as a cultural icon, and its impact can be felt across generations of 'heavy' music, both mainstream and underground. Into the void hits from second one. Strong beats lead the way into this dreamlike soundscape, where metallic drum elements and effortless reverb tails take us on a journey. In 1976 Johnny Rotten and the Sex Pistols set the agenda for punk's year zero with 'Anarchy In The UK', a song that summed up the spirit, sound and attitude of the band in one shocking package. Two years later, the Sex Pistols were in tatters, but Rotten was as unsentimental as you'd hope. He reverted to his real name - John Lydon - and set about forming a band whose very identity kicked against press and media manipulation. Featuring bassist Jah Wobble, drummer Jim Walker and guitarist Keith Levene, his new group were Public Image Limited. The public image would be limited. PiL were a very distinct prospect from the Pistols, founded with a greater thought for rhythm, and with a sound that turned the page from snarling punk to a more experimental sound fusing rock, dance, folk, ballet, pop and dub. But that's not to say Lydon's new outfit lacked vitriol. 'Public Image' hits out against the notorious British tabloid press, who never gave Lydon an easy ride, and against his own Sex Pistols public image - "You only saw me for the clothes I wore". Serene, invoking imagery of darkness, sweeping soundscapes tear and twist at
the emotions. The latest album by THE ANSWER LIES IN THE BLACK VOID is a
work of magical beauty. The duo, a collaboration of Martina Horvath from avantgarde metal project Thy Catafalque and Jason Kohnen from Celestial Season,
The Lovecraft Sextet, Bong- Ra, ex- The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, have
followed up on their 2021 debut "Forlorn" with a haunting sophomore release that
is of exceptionally high quality.
The prevalent element here is doom, but there is so much more buried deep
within the dark vaults of this compelling record. The opening song "Ataraxia" is a
deep, richly layered song, with Horvath demonstrating her stunning vocals over
the complex creativity of Kohnen, the multi- instrumentalist who takes
responsibility for everything instrument- driven here. There are crushing riffs,
harrowing passages which send shivers down the spine, and all the time the
atmosphere builds. Tendrils of darkness curl around the throat on "To Kill The
Father", with Horvath's shimmering vocals duelling with the echoing lead guitar
work.

Unfairly underrated and somehow relegated to oblivion, they became one of our
personal favorites from the '80s Belgian Metal scene. Anyone who knows the
debut album "Breaking Out" knows this is one of the most solid and exceptionally
well-written metal albums ever to come out of Belgium. The album has everything
we could wish for in a heavy metal record: massive riffs with catchy choruses,
freedom anthems for the blue-collar townsman.

Born out of the creative genius of the two founding members, Alfred Morris III
and Kim Martin, FORCE's 12" EP is a landmark in the Maryland metal scene, in
addition to being a highly sought after record by collectors and Doom Metal
aficionados. Soon available in a limited replica edition, to which will be added
extensive liner notes written by Kim Martin himself, detailing the band's history,
creative process, musical background and much more!
This release will be eternally dedicated to the memory of Alfred Morris III, who
unfortunately left us in 2018. Rest in peace, Alfred! Keep on rocking forever!
