From The rst Notes Of Album Opener "honey", It's Clear That The Love-obsessed Matthew Dear Of 2007's Asa Breed Has Given Way To A More Existentially Paranoid Entity, As Creeping Tempos Dominate, Cavernous Atmospherics Envelop The Listener, And Strange Distortions Crackle On The Horizon. In Black City, Nothing Is At It Seems: Leadoff Single "little People (black City)" Is A Nine-and-a-half Minute Disco odyssey, subverting its gleaming electronic lead with eerily giddy backing vocals and cryptic, ominous lyrics ("a frozen wasted heart / has died", "love me like a clown"); "You Put a Smell on Me" is a sordid sex romp set to hysterically chattering percussion and a serrated synth line that will set your teeth on edge; "More Surgery" at rst recalls the barely-there Krautrock of Harmonia in its burbling minimalism, until Dear's chanted chorus of "Alter genetics / to make my body glow / I need more surgery / there's so much more to know" sends the track hurtling into a dystopian future.

And yet, for all the foreboding moods on Black City, it's the album's sweeter moments that illustrate Matthew Dear's growing maturity as a songwriter. "Slowdance" is a futuristic lullaby in which Dear articulates a lover's helplessness ("I can't be the one to tell you everything's wrong") over breathy, Arthur Russell-esque cello swishes; the album-closing "Gem" is an achingly simple, reverb-drenched piano ballad that ends with a long, slow fade. Even in Matthew Dear's Black City, there is hope.

In the intricate maze of Tokyos neon heartbeat, Yuki Takasaki, known as Altone, creates a world where time and sound dissolves into dub techno. Altones work, steeped with an old-school sonic palette, is a symphony of resonating bass lines, rustic layers and delicate synths, crafting a port rait that connects the fleeting with the timeless. Altones music t ranscends mere sound, offering an invitation to explore the shadowy corridors of consciousness and minimal dub aesthetics. Each original track unfolds like a tranquil journey through an urban nocturne, haunting and beautiful in its harmony. Brendon Moeller, a master of dub techno, reimagines Altones >Self Replication< In two distinct yet sonic territories. The first remix pulses with a futuristic rhythm, its syncopated beats dancing on the edge of awareness. The dub remix, by cont rast, plunges into a vortex where liquid acid intertwines with hypnotic bass lines, conjuring a dreamscape infused with laser guided drums and crystalline texture. Through these remixes, Moeller crafts a sonic voyage that weaves through the complex tapestry of the dub landscape and keeps reminding us that the territory is still vastly unexplored.

We invite you to take a journey through the music of the Pacific and Caribbean coasts of Colombia, where traditional rhythms blend with contemporary sounds.

Mangle Rojo is a compilation album of 8 songs, released on vinyl of 12 inches, with some of the most popular rhythms of Colombian folklore, like Cumbia, Currulao, Bullerengue and, Puya, played by renowned artists like Nelda Piña, Inés Granja, Sixto Silgado Paíto, Emilsen Pacheco and Francisco Torres.

Side A consists of four songs from the Pacific Coast, and side B has four songs from the Caribbean region. In this record take part bands and also collaborations between independent musicians. Six of the songs were composed for the album.

The third chapter in CLIKNO's MAT (Music / Art / Text) EDITIONS series features four extended deep Minimal Techno tracks by Dr.Nojoke, titled wrongwrongrightright.

This release is accompanied by Dana Widawski's SelfMade 1-4, a series of four fayence-style plates created using traditional techniques to convey unconventional, socio-critical themes, and a text, solo moral judgement, by Marianne Klausen—a manual for a performance on moral judgment that explores the meanings and values of concepts like good, bad, wrong, and right—fusing auditory and visual art with writing into a unified experience.

At the core of Dr.Nojoke's wrongwrongrightright lies a deep, hypnotic quality, woven through layers of rhythm, melody, and noise, creating a transcendental pulse for the dancefloor. Notone on the A-side takes a more straightforward, acidic approach, while Cornips on the flipside is a deep minimal groover with a funky interplay of sounds. The second record dives even deeper with two more obscure tracks, Volasuri and Jilimuz, appealing to fans of Voices From The Lake and similar artists.

Stellar Systems, the latest imprint from the Rings of Neptune crew, readies its first release, "Archived Dreams" — a four-track EP signed by Berlin-based techno luminary Michael Melchner. Drawing influences between electro-charged techno and IDM-tinged minimalism, "Archived Dreams" explores cosmic, genre-blending themes through high-octane machine funk and tons of atmosphere. Crafted with pure analog equipment, the four tracks of the EP capture Melchner’s dedication to pushing sonic boundaries while channelling the raw energy of 90s electronic music.

The EP opens with 'Archived Dreams' (A1), a powerfully hypnotic track of pulsating drums and mesmerizing melodies, layered modular sequences and subtle percussion, setting an entrancing tone. Decollage (A2) dives into breakbeat territory, balancing intricate, syncopated rhythms with deep basslines and shimmering synths. On the B-side, Berlin Phenomena(B1) delivers a groove-laden, robotic vibe—a testament to Melchner’s knack for crafting infectious, funk-inspired rhythms. Closing out the EP, 'OE Underground' (B2) ramps up the intensity, blending raw, mechanical beats with intricate melodic threads to create an entrancing, slightly euphoric finale.

Stellar Systems emerges as an exciting extension of the Rings of Neptune collective dedicated to explore electronic music's rich sonic landscape. From deep, leftfield groovers to dynamic dancefloor stompers, Stellar Systems aims to capture a galactic range of sounds and styles. Michael Melchner, with his body of work — spanning solo projects and collaborations like Omega Men — and his esteemed reputation in the underground techno scene, aligns perfectly with the label's ethos.

Big boy peak-time business on ‘Madd Rippz’ has been road-tested this year by the man himself, crossing various capacity clubs and festivals. An au fait organ riff keeps you in the loop, with slappy Tripmastaz-brand beats delivering as expected.
‘Seqund Lite II’ gives you a more minimal yet funky approach. No more to add—just nod your head twice.

‘4eeba’ is a jacky early 2k number that was originally recorded more than 10 years ago but mixed to crunchy perfection.

And finally, ‘Rule 4080’ is a bumpy house track that sends off some sense to the ones who know what the title means.

After a terrific first release by AlleyOP aka Atree & Hagel, Tutto Bene welcomes Christopher Lawrenz for the imprint's second release. "Double Tree EP" features three original works by Christopher and a remix by seasoned veterans and Berlin underground sound wizards Foehn & Jerome. The result is a package of funk-infused dancefloor-ready tunes that nicely follow up Tutto Bene's debut while further expanding its vision.

Double Tree EP kicks off with "Double Tree" (A1), a minimal, groove-focused track laced with dub elements and a quirky tech-house edge. Shifting basslines, off-kilter percussion, and playful vocal samples create a lively vibe, perfect for peak-hour energy. Foehn & Jerome’s remix (A2) reimagines the track as a deep house groover, with smooth, sophisticated melodies layered over an understated bassline, adding both depth and elegance. On the B-side, "Tutto Bene" (B1) delves into more experimental territory with syncopated rhythms and robotic textures, combining off-beat percussion and modulated sounds for a distinctive, driving rhythm. Detroit's Julion De'Angelo returns with his second release for Maybee Hill Music, the Consciousness EP.
"Ramble of a Revol" channels raw emotion in a 12-minute acid jack journey, a defiant cry against oppression, past, present, and future.

On this vinyl, Traumer & Anton (as Antraum), Lowris, Jakub, and Bassam push the original sound towards new horizons: breaking away from its origins, each of them shapes a unique perspective, transforming the raga's imprint into an electronic journey that is timeless and resolutely contemporary.

Previously unreleased techno from the 1990s and 2000s. Tape archives of renowned producers unveiled anonymously on a new vinyl only label Kilotoni. Minimal acid techno and hard techno with funkier Detroit influences on the flip side.

Spanish duo Los Suruba have done it all over the last 25 years, captivating dancers with their blend of House, Minimal, Electro, psychedelic, and deep vibes.

They have established their own network of record labels, with almost 250 releases, Nazca being the latest addition. They’ve also released music on labels like Crosstown Rebels, Diynamic, and Get Physical and have been remixed by international artists such as Solomun, Adriatique, Clarian, and Okain. They describe their music as "Memories of the Future," the motto of their brand Nazca.

As DJs, they’ve performed at the world’s best clubs and festivals, bringing their unique sound across the globe, holding residencies from Ibiza to London, and creating countless underground hits.

They are in top form once again with this latest journeying EP, where Los Suruba and their label Nazca return to vinyl releases, featuring two new remixers for this vinyl edition of the ‘+33 EP’.

Innovative opener 'Dial Banger' is a wonky house sound with wet claps and a gurgling bassline that gets ever more wild. It's a playful cut that teases and pleases in equal measure as the low-slung grooves, string stabs, and unhinged leads keep dancers locked.

'Elegancia La de Francia' is a more experimental house affair with eerie synth leads and freaky filtered vocals, making a dark and menacing atmosphere.
Warm melodies infuse the track with soul and make it perfect for the late-night hours.

First remixer Cristina Lazic launched her own label La Zic, earlier this year. It's a platform that looks to uplift and mentor exceptional female talents next to the Italian's own blend of minimal, deep and tech house sounds. Her fantastic take on 'Elegancia la de Francia' is stylish and stripped back with supple minimal drums and the muted synth sounds bubbling away over punchy kicks.

Romanian artist BRYZ has a refined minimal sound that has established him in the European scene over the last decade. He deals in intricate melodies, pulsating rhythms, and atmospheric textures on labels like Storytellers and Esente Records.

His version of 'Elegancia la de Francia' is silky and deft, with sustained pads locking you into a trance while gurgling bass and trippy melodic motifs add great detail to the rolling minimal house grooves.

Patrice Bäumel makes his most welcome return to Kompakt’s Speicher series and it’s exactly as compelling as you expect it to be. “Luce” is a slenderly pumping piece of minimal soul featuring the otherworldly voice of Chiara Gamo. Once more, Patrice masterfully demonstrates how little elements he needs to create suspense, density and warmth on the floor. “The Cave” follows the same mantra, sucking us into a mystique stalactite cave full of echoing droplets and enchanting whispers. We follow him blindly.

Patrice Bäumel’s höchst willkommene Rückkehr zu unserer Speicher Reihe ist genauso fesselnd, wie man es erwartet. „Luce“ ist ein schlankes, pumpendes Stück Minimal Soul mit der entrückten Stimme von Chiara Gamo. Einmal mehr beweist Patrice meisterhaft, wie wenig Elemente er benötigt, um Spannung, Dichte und Wärme auf dem Floor zu erzeugen. „The Cave“ folgt demselben Mantra und zieht uns in eine geheimnisvolle Tropfsteinhöhle voller widerhallender Tropfen und verzaubendem Geflüster. Dimi Angelis presents ANGLS 14 - four raw, spaced out, 909-driven tools in his characteristically direct and minimalistic style. Sparse, delicate sequences reverberate to provide a sense of space against classic drum patterns that build into a full workout.

The A1 opens with Third Eye - a slow, tense build with heavy low end and terse percussion, setting the tone. Endorama on the A2 is driven by a living bleep - distorted, repeating, but never quite the same.

Decka opens the B side with a remix of Intergalactic to provide a groove heavy, sequence-driven and lethal interpretation of Dimi's sound. Chrysalis rounds off the package on the B2 with a rolling 101 bassline and descending bleep that hypnotizes
and controls the listener.

Queens Of The Circulating Library stands alongside Time Machines and Nurse With Wound's Soliloquy For Lilith as a post-industrial pinnacle of sensory-warping long-form drone.

Crafted by the distilled duo of Thighpaulsandra and John Balance, the 49-minute piece unfurls in swirling, cyclical waves, tidal as much as textural, channeling the spirit of levitational minimalism pioneered by La Monte Young. Touted as the first part in "a continually mutating series of circulating musickal compositions" upon its initial release in 2000, the album remains a compelling case study in Coil's exceptional capacity for mutation and extremes. The theatrical introductory monologue delivered by Thighpaulsandra's mother - a career opera singer, in her 80's at the time of recording - sets the stage for a grandiose ascension. Written by Balance, the text is declamatory but dreamlike, refracted through megaphone echo: "Return the book of knowledge / Return the marble index / File under "Paradox" / The forest is a college, each tree a university." As her voice fades, the lulling synthetic infinity deepens, congealing into transient crests of volume and haze, like slow-motion surf misting in moonlight. Thighpaulsandra describes their aesthetic intention as a "bliss out," static but shape-shifting, an amniotic drift towards an eternal vanishing point. A supreme sonic embodiment of the slogan on the sleeve of Time Machines, two years prior: "Persistence is all."

Following her breakout debut on the label with the mega-hit Heavyweight Sound, which brought a spark of light to lockdown when it dropped, Nina Girassóis now unveils her first album, Superfluido.

Great music isn’t about having the latest gear—it’s about the vision and creativity behind it. Superfluido is the result of over a decade of lo-fi experimentation at São Paulo’s Rocky Studio, where Nina teamed up with producer Paulera. Their journey is infused with mid-2000s underground sound system sessions, carnival rhythms, and the vibrant energy of the city that never sleeps.

The duo’s creative process flows with the spirit of ‘vida boa’—embracing spontaneity and seizing inspiration wherever it strikes: in the supermarket queue, at the bar, or while wandering the streets. With its minimalist soulful sound, Superfluido radiates an effortless, unpolished beauty. It’s a collection of tracks meant to be shared with those closest to you—a soundtrack for life’s special moments.

Dalmata Daniels third LP comes from Rapha, marking his return to the label after contributing to its split and compilation series. Known for bold acid treatments and dark, futuristic tones, Rapha takes his craft to new heights on Midnight Dancer, which also features remixes by CT Kidobo and PRZ. The album opens with I Win U Win, pulling listeners into an adventure of pulsing basslines and cosmic, minimal electro. CT Kidobos remix then twists it into a darker, seductive French-inspired club sound. The third track, ...And Them, continues the journey of the opener with mechanical beats and textured soundscapes, while Alien Dance highlights Raphas signature sharp, distinct style leaving a strong mark on the deep electro club scene.

On the flip side, Midnight Dancer plunges into a hypnotic realm of haunting echoes and distorted rhythms, with heavy basslines reverberating through the darkest corners of the mind. PRZs remix of the title track retains the original groove but adds a cleaner, equally impulsive electro edge perfect for the club. The albums final tracks, Lost Start and Galactico, round off the journey with shimmering electro patterns and eerie, alien soundscapes, leaving an unforgettable impression.

In Midnight Dancer, Rapha showcases his ability to blend industrial grit with cosmic melodies, delivering hard-hitting electro suited for both club play and immersive listening at home or on a night ride. After a string of ambient and experimental releases across labels such as Bedroom Suck, Best Effort, Ken Oath and Analogue Attic, Matthew Hayes - veteran bassist of Z*F*E*X, welcomes his latest project Xpress Point, designed to keep your hips moving rather than kicked back on your couch. Born out of jam sessions and collaborations with artists such as Dreamcastmoe, Jitwam, Ziggy Zeitgeist, Finn Rees and Allysha Joy and an obsession with reclaiming the nostalgic sound sounds of the Korg M1 and Yamaha DX7, Xpress Point, which takes Its name from a local surf break off the coast of Phillip Island, draws heavily from the boogie tradition with a nod to vapourware, downtempo, balearic and funk breaks.

Assembled in 2023 across Melbourne/Naarm, London and Berlin, from surf breaks to crusty drum breaks, Xpress Point is a vehicle for Hayes to search for the perfect bass line, explore funk minimalism, continue nurturing longtime musical relationships with close friends and offer his own take on music to make you move.

Our newest record label was born from the urge to represent electro music through our Childhood Intelligence Universe. “Time Ghost Teknologies” is an entity dedicated to timeless and futuristic electro—one of the genres with the deepest roots in the age of technology, which has established itself into the 21st century and beyond. Tales of sci-fi endeavors, forgotten technologies, UFOs and outer world civilizations, yokai and spirits — electro has united mysticism and magic as one of the ancient pillars in electronic history.
