Its sonic palette remains fluid, shifting between hazy ambient passages, dub-inflected textures and more fractured, bass-driven moments, while maintaining a strong sense of cohesion throughout.

Born in Jamaica, Tory Wynter spent his early years in London. From there, he moved to New York City where he studied voice and acting and quickly assumed his music and entertainment career. Tory began performing with some of the greatest names in entertainment, and for some of the most prestigious audiences. He burst onto the recording scene, writing several albums and singles for major record labels. The experience and expertise he picked up along the way allowed him to open a highly successful publishing company and record label, Laykash Records.

Both tracks are taken from his LP "On The Love Side / Happy Side" and have now been released for the first time as a strictly limited 45 RPM single. In addition, "Oh Let The Rain Fall Down" will soon be released on the upcoming Tramp Records compilation titled "CAN YOU FEEL IT Vol.5 - Modern Soul, Disco & Boogie 1977-88".

After more than a year and a half of consistent output, KYSH returns to vinyl with its second physical release. Following a streak of four VA compilations, nine solo EPs and a strong debut on wax, the label keeps its momentum — expanding its roster while refining a distinct, contemporary techno identity shaped by both emerging names and established forces. Mateo Dufour and Cosenza return to Key Records as part of the label’s family, this time joining our second vinyl release with Sweat, representing the Rio de la Plata sound on the dancefloor.

The A-side is led by ‘Sweat’, a high-impact, peak-time track driven by a penetrating vocal and a distinct vintage character. Road-tested over the past months, it has become a true secret weapon in sets by artists such as Traumer and Enzo Siragusa. Following that, ‘Girl (I Want To)’ lowers the intensity, moving into a more groove-driven and sensual territory, creating a natural contrast within the side.

The B-side shifts into a more playful and character-driven territory, suited for transitional moments, whether at sunrise or during deeper phases of the night — perfectly fitting summer settings. ‘Why So Freak?’ stands out for its distinctive synth line and catchy vocal, giving it a strong and recognisable identity. Get ready for Macem Ly"s debut album "Honda Date" - a neologism and a homage to all the hopeful Vietnamese couples he watched as they"d rather hopped on to a Honda moped rushing into nature for a romantic date than facing the rush of urban life. So the multi-instrumentalist and producer artist naturally created the perfect album for all those who travel and observe while enjoying long rides on busses or mopeds - not least for knowers of high-quality instrumental productions with a special place for hiphop tradition in their hearts. With "Honda Date" he showcases his musical prowess rooted in HipHop, Funk and Soul all the while proving a certain versatileness in creating new sounds - that are also born out of his training in classical music. Unconventional drums, alternative 808 beats, delicate soul samples and those of modern Jazz guitarists non unambiguously carry Macems Ly"s handwriting as he pays tribute to the old while non the less creating something new.

50 years ago, Nancy Spungeon reviewed the Heartbreakers relaunch gig for New York Rocker. They"d hired bassist Billy Rath to replace Richard Hell and written new songs. This was the genesis of the L.A.M.F. story. FOUND IN AN ATTIC - a copy master of the original 1977 Track Records tape, without "mud"! This classic punk album, recorded in London by the band featuring New York Dolls Johnny Thunders and Jerry Nolan, along was universally condemned in the music press for having a "muddy mix" - later found to be a mastering fault. When Track went bust the following year, manager Leee Black Childers burgled the Track Records" Carnaby Street 3rd floor office and liberated the tapes that belonged to him and the band. He found everything - except for the master-tape, which remained undiscovered until last year. Other releases had been from outtakes or remixes. First released for RSD in 2021 with not enough copies, and has been unavailable for three years. Now reissued to satisfy the demand for this latterly discovered, acclaimed recording.

Quartier Celeste is a unique project in today’s landscape: here’s Premier Voyage, an album that goes beyond music to offer a complete universe, almost an autonomous mythology, which unfolds through music, lyrics, videos, and a collection of visual artifacts.

It all began with a revelation: the discovery of NASA’s sound archives, recordings collected during space missions to the outer
reaches of the solar system. What can be heard as we approach the Sun? What sound does a black hole produce when its electromagnetic activity is translated into audible frequencies? What does Jupiter's fifth moon whisper through the instruments of
a probe?

From track to track, we drift through an immense space — sometimes calm, almost meditative, sometimes shaken by cosmic storms. We encounter supernovas, cosmic rays, magnetic fields, stellar winds, and clouds of antimatter. The infinitely large rubs shoulders with the infinitely intimate: the fragile, close voice offers a human counterpoint to these titanic forces. The whole is mystical, contemplative, punctuated by bursts of noise, areas of shadow, and flashes of light amid vast areas of darkness.

Newly signed to Heist or Hit (Westside Cowboy, Her’s, Nature TV), Georgian's forthcoming debut EP 'Crackled Grounds' reads like an anthology in the vein of The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. These aren’t just songs, but scenes, self-contained worlds that glimmer with strange detail before dissolving into mirage. “We recorded on a farm just north of Amsterdam” states James. “It gave us space and focus and helped us channel the Western feel we wanted to impress upon the tracks. Arno gave us lots of pedal board options and guitar choices. Those things in particular helped us fine-tune the sound we were chasing.” The resulting collection chronicles the ups and downs of existence and blooms with natural imagery. ‘Strike a Wound’ seethes with revenge. The slow attack on the guitars has the onomatopoeic effect of enacting each blow. ‘Crackled Grounds’ conjures an apocalyptic wilderness that wouldn’t be out of place on the ‘Kill Bill’ soundtrack. ‘Medusa’ is a parable of strong women overcoming obstacles and jolts with the energy of those early Johnny Cash Sun recordings. ‘Gardens’ lingers on the awkward tenderness of running into a long-lost lover; while ‘Californian Jeans’ pays homage to denim as talisman, armour, and second skin.

Born from a demo session originally recorded in 2011, “I Like” finally came to life when Daniele “Shield” Contrini and Piero Pirupa reunited in late 2025 to complete the track, transforming an early idea into a powerful new collaboration featuring two legendary voices of house music: The Egyptian Lover and Paris Brightledge.

Daniele “Shield” Contrini, founder and creative force behind Rebirth Records, joins forces with globally respected DJ and producer Piero Pirupa to deliver a record designed to fire any dancefloor.

Blending Italo disco influences, classic house grooves and a powerful bassline, “I Like” carries a warm, uplifting energy while paying tribute to the golden era of club music. The track is driven by the unmistakable vocal presence of The Egyptian Lover, the pioneering American artist, producer and DJ Greg Broussard. Widely recognized as one of the architects of West Coast electro and early hip-hop, he helped shape the sound of 1980s Los Angeles electronic music through his groundbreaking use of the Roland TR-808.

Adding further depth to the record is the distinctive voice of Chicago house legend Paris Brightledge, whose haunting and melodic tone became iconic through classics such as “It’s Alright” and “Paris Dub 1”. Over the years he has collaborated with some of the most important names in house music including Joe Smooth, Frankie Knuckles, Marshall Jefferson, Ron Hardy, Mike Dunn, Farley “Jackmaster” Funk and Byron Stingily, while also appearing on projects with Pet Shop Boys, Paranoid London and Groove Armada.

With its blend of electro heritage, Chicago house soul and contemporary club production, “I Like”connects different generations of dance music in a single record, a collaboration that bridges eras, styles and scenes. Set for an official release on 22nd May, the track marks another chapter in the label’s ongoing story and its commitment to celebrating the roots of club culture while pushing it forward.

Exklusiv auf dieser Single – und überhaupt zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl erhältlich – ist die rare deutschsprachige Version des Tracks "Black Power", gesungen von einer gewissen Donna Gaines. Später natürlich weltberühmt geworden als Donna Summer, markiert dieser Song ihre allererste Aufnahme als Solokünstlerin im Alter von gerade einmal 20 Jahren. Zugleich war es ihr erster Auftritt vor der Kamera – prominent platziert im ZDF-Krimi-Dreiteiler "11 Uhr 20" (1969). Sowohl der Film als auch bisherige Sampler verwendeten die englischsprachige Version; der Mono-Mix der deutschen Fassung wurde erst vor Kurzem in Peter Thomas’ Bandarchiv wiederentdeckt. Ein weiteres vokales Highlight aus einer deutschen Krimi-Trilogie ist Senta Bergers frech-laszives "Vergiss mich, wenn du kannst" (aus dem ZDF-Krimi-Dreiteiler "Babeck", 1968). Das Lied basiert auf dem Titelthema der Serie und wird von der Sängerin in ihrer Rolle als geheimnisvolle, vamp-artige Barchefin interpretiert. Unter Liebhabern europäischer Filmmusik hat sich der Titel längst zum Kultstück entwickelt und wurde bereits mehrfach gecovert. Das Original feiert nun endlich hier seine Vinyl-Premiere. Achtung: Ein absoluter Doppelseiter!
