Octave One's deep and downtempo album “Never on Sunday” arrives in late April 2023. Before that, they release a special reworking of the album single “The Bearer”. Injected with the spine-tinglingly vocal performance from Karina Mia, the Burden Brothers revisit the track with a stripped sultry production ready for dance floors and playlists alike. Folk-Pop-Star in Westafrika. Er spielte er in großen Arenen und erreichte mit TV- und Radioshows ein riesiges Publikum. Anfang der 1990er Jahre entschied er sich, in die USA auszuwandern. Unter dem
Eindruck der damaligen Krise des Musikgeschäftes wechselte er in einen Job in der Krankenpflege, schrieb allerdings weiterhin Songs und spielte Gitarre.

Seine Berühmtheit holte ihn in den USA wieder ein, als dort ein Album von 1985 neu aufgelegt wurde und zur Wiederentdeckung seiner Musik führte. „Come Back To Me“ ist jetzt das offizielle Comeback von
Peter One, mit eingängigen neuen Songs in Englisch, Französisch und Peters afrikanischer Muttersprache.

Junior Cat is one of reggae music's most prolific artists. An icon, Junior Cat"The Wild Indian," is known by reggae and hip hop fans across the globe for his dapper Bad Azz style that made the fellas crave and adoring ladies rave over his delivery of edgy lyrics that ricocheted through dancehalls and stages in the 90s with hit classics like “Iron Gloves”; “Top Dog”; “Anorexal Body”; and as featured in the mega-hit movie “Shottas”, “woulda let you go”. Junior Cat is the Don that lesser deejays imitate but never duplicate.

AsOne² introduces the addition of Catherine Siofra Prendergast to the As One line-up after a series of successful live shows together with Kirk Degiorgio. The live duo entered the studio to focus on adding a melodic sensibility to the harmonic structure of the existing AsOne sound. The resulting album once again finds it perfect home with the Belgian record label De:tuned.

Following on the heels of the teaser EP featuring the duo's acclaimed 'Descent Module' - AsOne² is a blend of vintage, warm analog gooeyness and pristine post-modern production techniques. Prendergast's melodic additions veers the AsOne sound towards a more accessible arena without compromising on the core AsOne sonic signature. Yearning chords, sparkling lead lines, bubbling funk basslines and ethereal ambient washes merge to form a coherent whole in this new advance in the development of AsOne - now in its 30th year.

Kevin Foakes (Openmind, DJ Food, Ninja Tune) created all the graphic work. Mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis and pressed on 180 gr vinyl. A separate digital release will also be available at the usual digital shops. Stay tuned!
