Ihr 2016er Album "Winter's Gate" ist ein Konzeptalbum, das aus einem einzigen epischen 40-minütigen Song besteht. Das Album basiert auf der Kurzgeschichte "Winter's Gate" des Sängers und Bassisten Niilo Sevänen, die in seinem Heimatland mit Preisen und Nominierungen ausgezeichnet wurde. Das Album ging in Finnland sofort auf Platz 1. Beide Alben sind jetzt in 180g farbigem Vinyl erhältlich.

Er brachte nachhaltige Versionen von Michael Jacksons "Good Thing Going", The Persuaders "Love Gonna Pack Up" und Dionne Warwicks "A House Is Not A Home" in das Reggae Idiom. Rude Boys are synonymous with Jamaican Dancehall culture from the present day going back to the very early days of Sir Coxsone Dodd and Duke Reid’s first sound-clashes in Kingston. Studio One Rude Boy features artists and songs about rude boys and rude boy culture from all periods of Studio One’s history.

The album features Ska, Rocksteady, DJs, Roots and Dub The album features classic tracks from Jamaica’s finest singers and groups such as The Wailers, John Holt, the Wailing Souls, Dennis Brown alongside super-rare tracks from artists such as Mr Foundation, Dudley Sibbley and The Soul Brothers all recorded under Clement ‘Sir Coxsone’ Dodd’s supervision at the legendary recording studio and record label. Musical backing comes from the legendary in house bands – The Skatalites, The Sound Dimension, Soul Vendors and Soul Defenders – who provide the classic Studio One rhythms so influential in the history of Reggae.

Intrigue's self-released synth-funk rarity released officially for the first time by Backatcha. Recorded in 1986 by the same line-up that created the classics 'I Like It', 'Call Of The Heart', 'No Turning Back' and more, 'One Touch' expresses the woes of a homewrecker over a "midnight" groove weighted with synth bass and rhythm delay. This limited 12" is a forerunner to the forthcoming Intrigue compilation featuring previously unreleased material alongside the group's sought-after catalogue of recordings.

The punk movement also came fully clothed. Mal-One’s new single talks about the fashion side of Punk that ran parallel to the music. These clothes were supplied from Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwoods emporium situated at 430 King’s Road, the epicentre of the Punk Movement itself. The clothes were not cheap and you needed deep pockets to buy them. But you also needed an attitude to wear them, as many factions were not so appreciative of them, especially the ‘Teddy Boys’. You had to run the gauntlet of the King’s Road on a Saturday from Sloane Square to the Worlds End. A tricky mile, in which you always had to keep your eyes open from enemy attack.

One Step Closer signal a sea change with Songs for the Willow. With last year's This Place You Know, the band had already mastered a unique stripe of mournful melodic hardcore informed by eclectic emo influences. But on Songs for the Willow, they've tapped into a dynamic, emotionally powerful, and sonically intricate post-hardcore space inhabited by the charged aura and artistic nuance of landmark early 2010s records like Title Fight's Floral Green and Touché Amoré's Is Survived By. But ultimately, Songs for the Willow moves this sound forward into new territory.

This Album is a collection of what I call Punk Art Poetry.
Poetry put together like a lyric to tell a certain story or explain a thought on some punk related matter. Some of these stories did actually turn themselves into a song which I released on my Punk Art imprint.

Most of these poems were influenced or inspired a piece of art I was working on.

OLUMA wurde 2021 von dem Bassisten Gregor Nicolai, dem Schlagzeuger André van der Heide und dem Saxophonisten Roman Polatzky gegründet. Die instrumentalen Kompositionen der neunköpfigen Band lassen sich dem Global Groove zuordnen. Sie schaffen dichte Grooves, die von energetischen Brass-Lines bespielt werden und in virtuose Improvisationen münden. Die vier Bläser können das Publikum aber auch schwebend und leicht in eine träumerische Welt begleiten. Die multikulturelle Szene Berlins mit ihren unterschiedlichsten musikalischen Einflüssen haben André und Gregor geprägt und zusammengebracht. Dazu kommt die Liebe zu handgemachter Groove-Musik, die Leidenschaft zu tanzbaren Beats. Roman trafen sie im Dunstkreis der Musikhochschule Leipzig, wo sich die internationale Band gefunden hat. Der Albumtitel Cooking Time entstand nicht zufällig: Die Musik entsteht in gemeinsamen Songwriting-Sessions, bei denen Beats gebastelt und Ideen eingesungen werden. Die Band gewann den Delay-Nerd und Afrobeat-Liebhaber Umberto Echo für ihre Aufnahmen, der mit Verwendung alter analoger Technik einen nostalgisch anmutenden Sound schafft, welcher auf moderne Produktion trifft. Mit ihrem Debut-Album möchte OLUMA die Idee teilen, dass Musik einen Beitrag zur globalen Verständigung leisten kann und Menschen verbindet. Die Doom Metal-Tradionalisten SHAYTAN hießen früher DEMON INCARNATE und veröffentlichten zwischen 2010 und 2022 drei Alben und eine EP auf FDA Records und Metalville. Nach einigen Besetzungswechseln wurde die Entscheidung getroffen, das Kapitel Demon Incarnate zu schließen und ein neues als SHAYTAN aufzuschlagen. Ihr Debütalbum "Chapter One" wurde von Charles Greywolf im Studio Greywolf (Lonewolf, Hammer King, Godslave) aufgenommen, gemischt und gemastert.
