4TRK-029 sees label head Dj Hyperactive team up with Jason Patrick for the Inflexion EP. The release kicks off with, “Shadows Of The Underground” a stripped down acid Techno track that builds in a mutating fashion with it’s 808 cymbals, filtering shakers, and pitch bent synth stabs Mississippi Mud Hound gets underway with a growling bassline that morphs throughout alongside additional synth elements and percussion bits. On side b, “Harrier Env” provides a jacking feel that manages to also have stutter step bass groove in conjunction with 909 percussion, a spacey drone, and a mysterious melody. Closing out the release is “Bandaid On A Bullet Wound” an atmospheric stripped down track with powerful bass, sci-fi bleeps, and a lead synth riff that pushes and pulls in intensity throughout the track.

4trk-028 the Oscillate EP is a collaborative effort from Francesco De Luca and Jason Patrick. The title track of the release, Oscillate springs into action with it’s tough modulating bassline and keeps the energy pumping throughout with spacey synths, heavily effected drums, crisp hi-hats, and more. The second track of the release, Oblivion, gets on with an otherworldly synth line that works away in tandem with another poly synth. Processed 909 percussions bits are laced throughout the track. Trumbull & Fort is an electro tune that pays homage to the genre’s roots with it’s title being the names of the cross streets in Detroit where the Metroplex post office is located. ’La Macarena’ is one of the brightest lights in Barcelona’s glimmering nightlife, and a landmark of the Spanish techno scene. 17 years in daily business brought thousands of electronic artists behind the decks and countless dancers and electronic music lovers on the floor of the legendary micro club. The new music label ’Macarena Musica’ features musical contributions by ’Macerena’ resident artists and special guests - all of them share a big love for ’La Macarena’ and Barcelona. The passionate crafted releases come as limited vinyl-editions and extended digital packages, complete with expressive black-and-white artworks, capturing the atmosphere of the club and the streets of Barna.

For the debut release, ’Macarena’ longterm-resident Patrick Zigon teamed up with his friend Paulo Olarte for ’Belleza Tropical’ - a declaration of love to the club and the heart warming vibe of Barcelona, which is strongly coloured by the latin way of life. It’s not surprising at all that this beautiful inspiration led Patrick Zigon to a tropical excursion into the deep cosmos of latin-infused Techno and House music. As in many previous collaborations, Paulo Olarte refines the productions of the Berlin-based producer with his naughty vocals, resulting in a poetic and love-driven statement for the latin familia. ’Belleza Tropical’ is the first glimpse into Zigon’s third studio album ’Between The Lines’, coming up in summer on his ’Traumraum’ imprint. Beside the Original and Instrumental versions, the single features remixes by the Spanish master of hypnotic techno, señor Eduardo De La Calle, Paulo Olarte and Blanali (digital only). Patrick Conway keeps a low profile and wobbles through the alleyways. This is his first offering for the ESP Institute. Side A’s Know The Future is properly moody, a UK rave track skirting the fringe of everything we hold dear from the days of our youth—big grey melancholy chords, mild shuffling breaks and anonymous diva cries peppered sparsely throughout—yet the artist manages to skillfully tick our nostalgia boxes whilst avoiding the road into full-blown pastiche. It's a versatile track, easily suitable for both the early hours in the warehouse or the tender drive home where your terrible Tuesday awaits. On the flip side, Patrick continues his plunge into emotional depths, summoning layers of ghostly sighs, chopping up the beats in half time and introducing a more prominent use of bass, but midway through Digital Warfare he jettisons the angelic pleasantries in favor a more deranged headspace. He’s had us swallow the wrong pills, sending us through a labyrinth of mirrors and echoes for the second half of the track, only to partially find our footing in the last minute. These two songs will send you to another time and place.

K15 serves up another slice of broken beat wizardry for Eglo Records, illuminating his trademark style of soul stirring synths and bouncing bass. Clocking in at just over 8 minutes, 'Devotion' is a dance music opus for the mind and body. Lifted from the forthcoming Eglo Records Vol. 2 compilation - due for release in late October - 'Devotion' will be available as a limited run 12" only single, housed in a special edition "10 Year Of Eglo Records' sleeve. Exclusive to the vinyl release the B-Side features K15's reconstruction of Patricks Gibin and Javonttee's 'Cloud 9', a track released earlier in the year, which see's K transform the four to the floor soulful house classic into an abstracted, broken bubbler, building until all the elements fall into place, climaxing into a low end groove. One of the musical highlights from Louie Vega’s NYC Disco album, “Rebel Nation” is a collaboration between grammy award winner Louie Vega, legendary multi-platinum producer Patrick Adams, and Nulu Records president, international DJ and artist Anané. Patrick initially had the idea for the song after seeing a recent Star Wars movie. Louie saw the vision of what it could ultimately be with live music additions, and Anané added the inspired lyrical content and vocal performance. In Louie’s own words, “I call Anané a chameleon, because she transcends so many different sounds with her voice. She gave the track just the right feeling vocally. It’s a very punk-rock approach; the kids speaking out, all kinds of people making the statement, Get Up! Stand Up! Let’s Rise! Rebel Nation.”

Lauded critically and on dancefloors worldwide in its original album version, the track has now been given the all-star remix package treatment with contributions from Danny Krivit, Carl Craig, Soul Clap and Felix Da Housecat X Chris Trucher.

A year which proved another hugely successful one for the UK producer who was called on for the remix duties for Calvin Harris and added Music Radar 's ' Best House Producer/DJ 2018' ' and his third DJ Award for Tech House Artist to his list of accolade that include his DJ Mag ' Best of British ' award and reaching number 11 in Resident Advisor 's 2016 top DJs poll.

This debut release on TRICK showcases a change in sound from the acclaimed artist and an evolution of Patrick 's ever-maturing style. Patrick Pulsinger opens the project on the A with two ingenious and uplifting tracks reminiscent of his old 'Sluts'n'strings &909' days with an acidic twist. 25 years have gone by since Patrick Pulsinger made history and put Vienna on the map by founding techno avant-garde label Cheap Records and with productions like 'Dogmatic sequences' on Disko B and pioneering sequential- minimal-techno soon after with the huge LP 'Porno' also on Disko B. On the flip side Luke M.R.E.U.X is consistent with his fine style. Dry percussions and rubbery bass in B1 'Cerebral fix'. A darker approach in confession B2 with a relentless 5 minutes of techno trip that will not let you catch breath.

Jaar's Other People is pleased to present a new solo record of guitar and live custom electronics artist Patrick Higgins, an American avant-garde composer and producer from New York City. Higgins is known for his work in experimental and contemporary classical music, playing guitar and composing in the mythical avant-noise-jazz ensemble Zs. His solo work as a composer unites European avant-garde forms with the post-minimalist howl of New York. His upcoming release on Other People, 'Dossier,' is a four-movement piece performed live without overdubs or edits. All of the samples and synthetic patches were custom built and specifically engaged to become elements of live guitar manipulation. The sound world is post-apocalyptic in spirit but builds to an intimate and reflective end. The material was developed over a two-year period and finalized at the end of 2016. 'Orbit' then sees intricate breaks; ghostly synths and murky melodies join piercing vocal cries before Pangaea delivers a cacophonous remix combining crunchy drums with effervescent notes and a throbbing low-end.

Three cuts of heady, cerebral bliss guaranteed to push any dancefloor a little further out into the interstellar,In Russell's hands, Clay Wilson's "E4" becomes a spaced-out stepper's delight. His rework of Romans' "Coptos" lets the acidic undertones of the original run free while snappy percussion holds focus. And while we're not one to pick favorites, Russell's remix of Zemi17's "Rangda," stripped to its bare essentials, is almost a purer representation of the original than the original itself, designed to lift a willing crowd into a trance state.

Dark Entries and Honey Soundsystem Records have teamed up again to release another volume of gay porn soundtracks by San Francisco-based musician and producer, Patrick Cowley. Perhaps one of the most revolutionary and influential people in the canon of disco music, Cowley created his own brand of Hi-NRG dance music, ''The San Francisco Sound.'' Born in Buffalo, NY on October 19, 1950, Patrick moved to San Francisco at the age of 21. He studied at the City College of San Francisco where he founded the Electronic Music Lab. During this time, Patrick, along with his classmates Maurice Tani and Art Adcock, would create radio jingles and electronic pieces using the school's equipment: first a Putney, then an E-MU System, and finally a Serge synthesizer. He would make experimental soundtracks by blending various types of music and adapting them to the synthesizer.
