Josienne Clarke’s brand-new label Corduroy Punk
Records launches with its debut album release,
bringing you her quintessentially succinct singer /
songwriter bangers and ballads on electric guitars,
bass, keys and drums.
For the first time since her early beginnings, Clarke
is flying solo. No label, no musical partner, no
producer. Clarke is in complete control of her
songwriting, arranging, producing, release
schedule and musical direction. While the themes
might feel familiar to her fans, the musical journey
will not, with Clarke taking in a wide range of new
and diverse influences across the album - from
Adrianne Lenker’s ‘Hours Were The Birds’, IDLES’
‘Colossus’, Radiohead’s ‘Airbag’ to Phoebe
Bridgers ‘Garden Song’ and more, the album’s
touchstones span a vast musical collage of anger
and hope.
‘A Small Knowable Thing’ is alt-indie for fans of
Julia Jacklin, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen,
Fiona Apple and Boy Genius.
CD edition with gloss gatefold and 8-page lyric
booklet. LP on 180 gram clear with orange and

A reissue of a project LAST FRONT debut work on Torema Records which was sold only in Japan in 1993, Now remastered for 2021 release.
The member of LAST FRONT was Fumiya Tanaka,Tamotu Ide,Takehito Miyagi. It’s hard to imagine now, but back in 1993, Japan was the only country where the first independent techno label could distribute vinyl and manufactured. We’re excited to be able to listen it together now after past years.

Punk Artist Mal-One’s new single Punk Badge celebrates the forgotten but much-loved culture of the button badge. Especially the Punk Badge that just in wearing the item was a statement in itself. It told you more about the person than 1000 words could ever do. Their affiliations likes, even their dislikes, for the pricey some of 25p!!!

To tell this story Mal-One has created 6 one off 18’’ inch badges and has used them to create the 7’’ sleeve artwork. There are 100 of each design. So be a good Punk and collect the set…

Punk artist Mal-One latest single tells the story of Malcolm Mclaren and vivienne westwoods’s 430 kings road emporium.
How malcolm acquired the remises and transformation from it’s rock’n’roll origins ‘let it rock’, ‘too fast to live to young to die’ through to its development as ‘sex’ and ‘seditionaires’, which was the centre of the punk storm.
All in 2 minutes and thirty seven seconds.

After being unavailable for years this is a very Limited Edition repress on CLOCKWORK ORANGE vinyl of theGreater Manchester Punk Vol 2: Now We Are Heroes 1978-82 compilation.
More rare and previously unreleased punk / post punk gems from the cellars of Greater Manchester.
This compilation delves into the archives and focuses on the lesser well known bands of the time and shows the various styles of punk recorded between 1978-82.
Some were recorded in studios and some recorded on a portable four track. None of these bands reached the status of bands like The Buzzcocks,
Joy Division and The Fall but were an integral part of the Manchester music scene of this period.

What exactly happened in the Italian underground / post punk scene 30 years ago, is not entirely clear. Therefore, this collection of 13 incredible tunes helps track down the feeling and focuses on the blurry images of a period that was mixing influences from the UK/USA scenes with a more national' approach to new music developments. The damage began in 1977 when a series of urban / suburban musical agitators, whether skilled or complete amateurs, decided to embrace instruments as weapons for a war against sonic stereotypes. Here's the result: a multiform sonic attack that marks the history of a movement that may have remained local in most cases but whose echo reflected the amazing creativity of a generation.

Italian duo Howl Ensemble team up with Turquoise Blue to release four infectious cuts entitled ‘Be Punk As Fuck’ EP.

Italy’s Howl Ensemble – made up of Giovanni Verrina and Germano Ventura enrich a deep, effervescent production style concentrated on the freedom of expression and creativity. In addition to releasing music on Tour Records, Nilla and Infuse, the pair established their Howl Records imprint that embodies a philosophy of releasing dancefloor focused music contributed to by the likes of Dana Ruh, Bassa Clan, 100 Hz and more. Howl Ensemble’s ‘Be Punk As Fuck’ EP sees the duo join the Turquoise Blue family following the likes of DJ Jes, Dan Curtin, Phonogenic and Ekkohaus to name a few.

‘In An Age Of Cruelty’ begins proceedings with alleviating melodies, low-slung bass chords and raw, shuffling percussion before ‘Kindness’ deploys dynamic synth sweeps, rolling low-frequencies and effervescent rhythms maintaining a consistent energy throughout.

On the flip, an organic drum sequence fused with eccentric modulations and undulating deepness takes the focus in ‘Is Punk As Fuck’ until ‘Be Punk As Funk’ rounds things off with broken-beat rhythms and irresistible vocal flutters floating over sparse pad work and funk-infused bass grooves

London Artist MAL-ONE is releasing a limited edition 7'' single to celebrate everything Punk and as a lead up to his PUNK Art show 'Never Mind The Punk 45' .

The show feautures decallages of the debut singles of the leading names in PUNK,such as Adam and the Ants,The Clash,The Damned all the way to X Ray Spex.
It seemed only fitting to record a single that name checks some of the great record shops that sold these PUNK tunes in this fine city of ours for a Record Store Day release..

Artist MAL-ONE emerged at an early age from the Punk scene in West London and now has successfully exhibited alongside such artists as Banksy, Goldie and Peter Blake amongst others.
Inside the 7'' sleeve which is made up of a collage of a 100 PUNK singles you will also find an invite to he exhibition in May in The Herrick Gallery,Piccadilly.
