London-based French chanteuse, multi-instrumentalist & composer Clémentine March shares her new single of entrancing avant-pop ‘After The Solstice’, from her upcoming new album ‘Powder Keg’.

Enriched by influences from jazz, folk and Brazilian music, ‘After The Solstice’ was initially inspired by a time spent touring the UK with acclaimed folk singer Naima Bock. For Clémentine, the song explores “the theme of memory and reminiscence” and employs an absorbing sense of cyclical repetition; a musical device used “to evoke the deja vu sensations we all experience in life”.

Out of life on the road, everyday recurrence and contemplative retrospection, Clémentine creates a profoundly hypnotic anthem on ‘After The Solstice’, both mellow and fervent. Evoking the likes of Stereolab, The Raincoats and Cate Le Bon, it’s a mesmeric singalong of graceful vocal lilts and poised musicianship, with every element moving in beautiful unison.

Recorded & arranged with Ollie Chapman (bass) & Sophie Lowe (drums), and featuring vocal contributions from Naima Bock, Sophie Jamieson, Katy J Pearson, MF Tomlinson, Marika Tyler-Clark, Robyn's Rocket and Alabaster DePlume, ‘After The Solstice’ is the first glimpse of Clémentine’s third album ‘Powder Keg’, following the rich international eclecticism of her debut album ‘Le Continent’, and the beguiling intimacies of her second LP ‘Songs of Resilience’.

I Feel The Love" is a vibrant 4-track EP from the Serbian duo Mirko & Meex, Known for their high-energy blend of funky house and nu-disco, the duo delivers a cohesive package designed for peak-time dancefloors. Expect heavy, driving basslines paired with shimmering disco strings and infectious vocal loops that lean into the classic "Groove Culture" sound championed by label heads Micky More & Andy Tee. Each track is built for utility, featuring extended arrangements that allow DJs to bridge the gap between soulful house and more aggressive disco-house sets. Following the two EPs "Epoxy Plains" and "Wipe Clean", which were released in 2024, the debut album from the Glasgow Post Punk/Rock quartet and currently the only British band on DevilDuck is finally here... "Human Poultry" is an observation of the situations, emotions and characters the band encountered during their first two years together in Glasgow. It questions how we spend our time and how that decision is influenced by external factors. Conscious Pilot are Joe Laycock (vocals & guitar), Emmy Leishman (guitar & vocals), Jack Sharp (bass & vocals) and drummer Chris McCrory, who recorded and mixed the album together with Seth Evans (Black Midi, Shame, Geordie Greep) and Adele Phillips (Fontaines DC) at Rak Studios in London - Felix Davis (Geese, The Vaccines) then put his masterful touch on it. The artwork is by Scottish painter Keiti Forbes.

She can be very sad and very joyful, living somewhere between worlds. On her debut for Fire Records, made it!, lucky break builds a new world for her character to inhabit. made it! collects songs written between the ages of 19 and 23, documenting the uncertainty of early adulthood, the end of a first major relationship and the process of learning to stand up for yourself. Tracks like "Crush" pair sharp lyrical insight with big drums and crisp bass, while "Head Down" uses bright, dreamy guitars to explore themes of politics, consumer culture and moral complacency. Confessional, direct and emotionally precise, lucky break's songwriting is matched by a versatile and expressive vocal performance that shifts across moods and styles throughout the record. Die Band Touch Girl Apple Blossom aus Austin komponiert Songs, die dich direkt ins Herz treffen. Ihre selbstbetitelte Debüt-EP ist eine Sammlung von klirrend-nostalgischen Popsongs, die sich so vertraut und intim anfühlen, dass sie sofort an die zuckersüße Glückseligkeit von Künstlern wie Heavenly, Tiger Trap und Velocity Girl erinnern. Intimacy is manifested in every moment of Radiator, the debut album from Philadelphia's Sadurn. This feeling of closeness, of being able to lend your every sense to one's confessions of internal conflict, is due in large part to the circumstances under which this album was created. Much of the world fell apart in 2020, but Sadurn tucked themselves away in a Pocono's cabin, creating and recording what would become their first full-length. Within the confines of their close quarters, passing animals as the only auditory witness to a makeshift recording studio created by moving furniture, Sadurn created an album that will break your heart and then slowly piece it back together.Sadurn started as the solo project of Genevieve ??DeGroot. Picking up guitar in 2015, DeGroot started writing songs, eventually playing DIY shows throughout the city of Philadelphia. With time, the direction, sound, and members of Sadurn changed. The beginning of 2020 was meant to serve as their debut as a four member band (Jon Cox on guitar/tenor guitar, Tabita Ahnert on bass, and Amelia Swan on drums), but the world had other plans and the group adapted.Taking influence from artists like Gillian Welch, Alex G, and Jason Molina, Sadurn's emotive indie rock explores the struggles and eventual beauty of grappling with multiple emotional realities, particularly when it comes to relationships. That conflict, the idea of being forced to choose, even when terrified, is present on singles like "Radiator" and "Golden Arm." The latter is an unhurried ballad that shows its truest colors with time, eventually blossoming with unexpected admissions of desire and uncertainty. Indecision, heartbreak, and attempting to live out your days against the actual backdrop of a gradually worsening hellscape is a shared commonality among us all, but on Radiator Sadurn breaks down walls that others so often put up. It's a fleeting, impactful glimpse at one's whole heart, and its sweeping, special nature is evident from the moment the album opens.

London's underground upstart D'Monk opens proceedings on the A side with two new cuts showcasing his raw and intuitive approach to production with an innate sense of swing. His grooves are literally steaming from the first bar. You can feel the condensation of bodies in the room, feel the bass rattling the building and feel hips grinding to the syncopation.

The flip side features long-time Berlin resident and currently Sydney-based Frank Dasent. Don't be fooled by this cat's lo-key approach to releasing music. Upon further research one can see that Dasent has been behind the scenes on many productions spanning the world of jazz, R&B and dance music, as well as building his own catalogue of soulful and electro-inspired dance music.

Tokyo deep house master Soshi Takeda returns with a long-awaited six-song sequel to 2021’s landmark Floating Mountains, surfing deeper into mystery, motion, and liquid dreams: Secret Communication. Recorded across 2022 and 2023 at his home studio with a unique assemblage of 80’s and 90’s hardware, the tracks cruise through a latticework of skyways on lush pads, bubbling bass, and blissed BPMs, dusted in sunrise acid and cosmic piano. His is a dance music of idyllic emotions and inner worlds, yearning for new horizons.

Dramatic events overlapped with the album’s creation: “Wars broke out. On the other hand, my child was born. There were sad and beautiful moments in my life.” Secret Communication contains vistas, valleys, glimpses of lives unled, swirling above the grey noise of the city. From the jazzy daydream of “Can Imagination Transcend Distance?” to the sleek starlight house of “Rainstorm” to the farewell ecstasy of the title track, Takeda’s music touches and transports, a portal to places beyond. Fantasy and feeling, intention and inspiration, all become one: “When I listen to beautiful deep house, I feel a mysterious atmosphere. Dreamy scenes come to mind. I aim to create that sound.”

With Get Together III, the journey moves into its next chapter, as four artists come together once again to bring the many colors of electronic music to life.

Aufgenommen 1971 in den Chappell Recording Studios in London, während seines Exils, erschien „Transa“,
das sechste Studioalbum von Caetano Veloso, im Januar 1972. Das sieben Stücke umfassende Werk wurde
vom britischen Künstler Ralph Mace produziert; die musikalische Leitung übernahm Jards Macalé, der auf
„It’s a Long Way“ zudem Gitarre spielt.
Die Band bestand aus Áureo de Souza (Schlagzeug), Moacyr Albuquerque (Bass), Tutty Moreno (Perkussion) und Jards Macalé (akustische und elektrische Gitarre). Außerdem wirkt die damals 22-jährige Angela
Ro Ro mit, die Caetano Velosos verführerischen Schlusstitel „Nostalgia (That’s What Rock’n’Roll Is All
About)“ mit ihrem charakteristischen Mundharmonikaspiel bereichert. Diese Zusammenarbeit gab der jungen Künstlerin entscheidenden Auftrieb für ihre weitere Karriere.
Musikalisch ist das Album von einer rockigen Grundhaltung geprägt, in der zugleich Velosos zentrale
Einflüsse anklingen: die MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) sowie die Klangwelt Bahias. Dennoch bleibt eine
feine Melancholie spürbar, wie sie bereits sein erstes Londoner Album „Caetano Veloso“ (1971) kennzeichnete.
Veröffentlicht wurde das Projekt mit einem auffälligen, dreifach aufklappbaren Cover, bei dem Booklet
und Hülle eine Dreiecksform bilden. Der bahianische Schauspieler und Theaterregisseur Álvaro Guimarães
prägte dafür den Begriff „Discobjeto“; gemeinsam mit Aldo Luiz entwickelte er das markante grafische
Konzept.

To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of our label Jamaican Recordings and to mark the sad one year passing of the musical maestro reggae producer Bunny `Striker’ Lee, we have pulled together a brand new collection of some great Bunny Lee rhythms.

Our label started way back with initial meetings with Bunny Lee and a promise to keep his music available, out on the streets. He will be sorely missed but will live on through his extraordinary musical legacy and we hope to add to this by including this release to the stable of an unbeatable catalogue.

Legendary record producer Bunny `Striker’ Lee’s vast selection of rhythms were ever present at any Sound Clash or Dance worth talking about in the early to mid-1970’s.
Where the version found on the b-side of a single or special dub cut on acetates, would be played to win over the people and conquer the dance. Bunny Lee was the undisputed rhythm master and on this special release he is also the MC telling the crowd how it is and that any rival sound system should watch out as he has the rhythms that can reign supreme. The band cutting these timeless rhythms were a group of top Jamaican musicians Bunny had put together called The Aggrovators.

The Aggrovators were a group of reggae musicians that usually featured Carlton `Santa’ Davis on drums playing alongside Robbie Shakespeare on bass, with other musicians added like Earl `Chinna’ Smith on guitar and Tommy McCook and Vin Gordon and Lennox Brown added for horn arrangements. Keyboards and organ duties normally fell
to musicians Ansel Collins and Bernard ‘Touter’ Harvey. The band was named after singer Eddie Grant had repeated the phrase to Bunny Lee on one of his many trips to England, that such and such artist was giving him `Aggro’. This was a term used in England in the 1970’s by the Skinhead followers of reggae music. A term shortened
from the word `Aggrovation’, meaning trouble, fighting or making the situation worse. Bunny Lee was so taken with this term that on returning to Jamaica, not only did he name his group of musicians the `Aggrovators’ but he also named his record shop situated at 101 Orange Street `Agro Records’.

Der Name 1816 verweist auf "das Jahr ohne Sommer" - ein historisches Sinnbild für Umbruch, Erschütterung und Überleben. Vor diesem Hintergrund erforscht das Album Themen wie Unsicherheit, Entbehrung und die fragile Hoffnung in Zeiten, in denen die Welt aus den Fugen zu geraten scheint. Die Musik reflektiert diese Stimmungen, ohne sie direkt zu kommentieren: stille Passagen treffen auf dynamische Ausbrüche, offene Formen auf dichte Klangszenen. Dritte Wahl ist eine deutschsprachige Punkrock-Band aus Rostock, die sich gegen Ende der 1980er-Jahre gründete. Die Band spielt Deutschpunk mit deutlichen Metal-Einflüssen und singt sehr direkte, politisch-kämpferische, linke Texte, für die es zu DDR-Zeiten die damals üblichen staatlichen Repressalien gab. 1996 veröffentlichte Dritte Wahl mit "Nimm drei" ihr drittes Album. Es wurde in Braunschweig im Whiteline Studio von Uwe Golz (auch Gitarrist bei Daily Terror) und Uwe Rust produziert. "Nimm drei" bedeutete für die Rostocker einen deutlichen Schritt Richtung mehr Professionalität. Das druckvolle Album hebt sich soundmäßig markant von den beiden früheren Werken "Fasching in Bonn" (1992) und "Auge um Auge" (1994) ab. Es wird durch sehr groovige und gitarrenbetonte Songs charakterisiert. Dazu gibt es einen steten Wechselgesang der beiden Frontmänner Marko "Busch"n" Busch (Gesang, Bass) und Gunnar Schroeder (Gesang, Gitarre). Komplettiert wird das Trio durch Krel (Drums), der die Songs mit seinen mitreißenden Beats stetig voran treibt. Auch heute stehen einige Tracks dieses Albums auf jeder Setliste der tourfreudigen Band.

Parisian DJ/producer Alex Wann joins forces with German talent JUNO for a brooding two-track EP arriving via Crosstown Rebels on 8th May. Alex has become a formidable force within the melodic house landscape, performing at festivals and venues from Tomorrowland to Pacha Ibiza, while holding a Las Vegas residency at Wynn’s XS Nightclub. His reach extends far beyond the booth, with multiple Beatport chart-topping releases on renowned imprints and notable support from Keinemusik, Diplo, John Summit, BLOND:ISH, and more. Here he collaborates with JUNO, who comes off a breakout 2025 marked by his standout hit ‘Last Dance’ on Magnifik Music and a Hot Mix for Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, delivering an impressive label debut for the pair.

Title track ‘Allo’ sees the pair lock into a deep, groove-led collaboration that balances warmth and intensity, built around a driving low end and a steadily rising sense of pressure as its growling basslines, echoing synth textures, and razor-sharp percussion slowly unfold.
