Written by Ross Dolan with contributions from the full band, the album was meticulously crafted over several years and recorded with Mike Montgomery and John Hoffman at Candyland Studio in Dayton, KY. The album was mixed by Collin Dupuis (Lana Del Rey, The Black Keys) in Detroit and mastered by JJ Golden at Golden Mastering in California. The album art was created by Neil Krug (Lana Del Rey, Tame Impala, Weyes Blood), who the band worked with for their first album, Sateen. Now signed to Heavy Psych Sounds, the band is ready to unleash their most potent work yet-a fusion of hypnotic grooves, searing guitars, and Laura Dolan's mesmerizing vocals. EC4 is both a homecoming and a rebirth. Electric Citizen is back!

Thirteenth studio album by the British rock band. Released in September 1987, it is the first album featuring the later three piece line-up: David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright.

Im oberfränkischen Sulzbach-Rosenberg, dem Standort der Maxhütte, brannte Ende des Jahrzehnts natürlich nichts außer dem Feuer in den Hochöfen, in denen Stahl geschmolzen wird. Floh de Cologne sahen sich über viele Monate dort um, die fünf Langhaarigen aus Preußen (Enxing) redeten mit Gott und der Welt. "Wir waren mit der Zeit integriert." So entstand Koslowsky.

Darin gehört das Epos "Prinzessin auf der Nadel" zum Besten, was die deutsche Rockmusik hervorgebracht hat. Der Text stammt von Peter Maiwald (1946–2008). Er porträtiert die Umstände, die eine junge Frau aus Sulzbach in die Droge als »Aus- weg« führt. Uraufgeführt an zwei Abenden im Dezember 1979 im Saal der Gaststätte "Josefshaus", gewerkschaftlich unterstützt wie manche andere Floh-Produktion, er- reichte sie auch die Belegschaft des Stahlwerkes – bis spät in die Nacht unterhielt ich mich danach mit einem Stahlwerker bei gutem bayrischen Bier. Im Betrieb hatte er so einiges mitbekommen von der Vorgeschichte. Das Programm steht für die Brillanz, die Floh de Cologne musikalisch wie textlich im Laufe der Jahre erreicht hatten, erhielt den deutschen Kleinkunstpreis und wurde fürs Fernsehen aufgezeichnet. Ins erste Programm schaffte es Koslowsky nicht, aber immerhin in mehrere dritte.

Das letzte FL0H-Opus - vor dem großen Abschlußspektakel -hieß „F“ und knüpfte an alte Action-Theater-Tage an. Mit einer Musik allerdings, die erneut bewies, wie offen und aufnahmebereit die Routiniers geblieben waren. Moderner Rock, nicht modische Masche. Atemberaubend militante Intensität in den New-wave-Stücken, feinnervige Einfühlsamkeit in epischen Songs. Dazu bitterböse Satire, die an Biss nichts eingebüßt hat.

Die LP zu „F“ heißt FAATERLAND. Sie wurde in C0NNY‘S STUDI0 von Dave Hutchins aufgenommen und gemischt.

With Bass Temprature, rediscover on one single CD the first three vinyl EPs by High Tone: Bot Dub Seasons, Low Tone, and Bass Temperature-a total of 12 tracks that propelled the Lyon-based group into the ranks of electro-dub heavyweights. The title track, Bass Temprature, follows-perhaps the least striking piece, though that's only relative given the strength of the rest. Worth noting are the mystical vocal samples in Train to Transylvania, evoking vampires and devils, while N1 Station brings a heavy psych sound, a more energetic beat, and moments that border on hard-tek. Other influences also emerge, such as the strong Eastern vibe in The Orientalist. As always, High Tone delivers a stunning dub album sure to delight ears tired of the everyday noise pollution that surrounds us.

‘Wonky Business’ is a slice of hands-in-the-air dance music that pairs infectious disco guitar riffs with infectious melodies and an irresistible bassline.

‘Hidden Sounds’ sits somewhere in the midrange between the previous two numbers, with driving chords sitting atop a rolling rhythmic bed that simply oozes energy and feet moving.

Finally, ‘Not Far Behind’ slides into view to facilitate a little trip into paradise, as euphoric pads and scintillating acid lines lift the listener to new heights of being.

With its roots in the DIY impulses of the Brussels art and music scene of the late nineties, Baudoux rallied together a revolving cast of players with an unconventional ensemble of instruments to explore melancholic psychedelia that touched on drone and minimalism as readily as it carved minor pop hits from cracked electronics. Performances were often highly improvisational, aided by the barely controlled chaos that guest collaborators—such as American artist Mike Kelley—would inject into an appearance.

FCO self-released two albums in the early 2000s before finding a home with Sonig, where they released several more records up until their last with the label in 2013. This was a fitting frame as Sonig, like FCO, channelled the fervour and formalism of the experimental music history of the Rhineland, which includes Kraftwerk, krautrock, and key early electronic music studios.

Following an eleven year hiatus, Laurent Baudoux reassembled the group in 2024 and presented a new album with the esteemed Glaswegian label 12th Isle late in that same year. Building on the strength of the new iteration, and with the aim of reappraising some of the rich yet oblique history of the group through this new lens, FCO have remastered and reissued their 2013 album, 'An Insane Portrait'.

The recordings were originally commissioned in 2009 for Fabrizio Terranova's film 'Josée Andrei, An Insane Portrait' about the truly remarkable figure Josée Andrei. Shot in San Francisco, the film is an intimate portrait of Andre. Blind from birth, she is a witch, painter, photographer, tarot reader, and psychology and modern literature graduate.

'An Insane Portrait' captures a stripped-back FCO, with Baudoux working solely with original FCO member Ann Appermans. The configuration of Baudoux's electronics and Appermans' bass guitar yield a tender and preciously melodic suite of instrumentals.

Originally released on vinyl by Sonig in 2013, the remaster will again be presented by the label in a limited cassette edition and in digital formats, each featuring a bonus track that was not included in its original release.

Over the last four years, the German-born and South Korea-based artist Sion has been steadily making a name for himself in the music industry. The Voice Germany Season 10 semifinalist is a self-taught singer, songwriter and producer who can do it all.
 Sion can play guitar, piano, synthesiser, DJ and much more, just name it.
 Early inspirations for Sion include Frank Ocean and Porter Robinson, and his music so far has been a wonderful mix of eclectic soundscapes.
 Now, Sion is back with his best project yet, his third EP ‘Sociavoidance’. The five-track extended play is full of lush vocals, vibrant production, a multitude of different layered textures.
 The genre-defying artist blends elements of indie electronica, hip-hop, alt R&B, glitch pop and more. Thematically, the body of work explores disassociation in the age of the internet, vulnerabilities, social interaction, self-reflection and relationships.
 It’s a heartfelt, genuinely beautiful, experience. Sion is inviting the listener into his colourful, exciting and often unpredictable world on ‘Sociavoidance’.

Haunting, discordant and deeply unsettling, `Les Maîtres Fous' (`The Mad Masters') was written by French post-metal collective Year of No Light in response to French filmmaker Jean Rouch's controversial 1950's docufiction of the same name. Commissioned by Musée Du Quai Branly in Paris for their 2012 `L'Invention Du Sauvage' exhibition, trance-metal pioneers Year of No Light approached the ritual practices of the Hauka movement as depicted in the film and responded with their uniquely hypnotic heaviness. Performed only twice, once at the exhibition on the 6th January, 2012 and again in Bordeaux on the 29th January, 2015; this release is a live recording of the second and final performance of `Les Maîtres Fous'. Whilst Year of No Light have a long history of collaboration with forward-thinking filmmakers and visual artists, the sensitivity of this documentary's problematic subject matter and the intensity of the band's performance made this performance both a physically and emotionally demanding experience; something that can be keenly felt upon listening. Founded in September 2001 by a collection of Bordeaux's heavy scene stalwarts as an ongoing side project encompassing elements of sludge metal and shoegaze, Year of No Light released their debut album, Nord, in 2006 to critical acclaim. The subsequent years however saw a significant lineup change with the band replacing their vocalist with a third guitarist to become a fully instrumental sextet incorporating aspects of black metal, drone electronica and dark ambient into their already formidable sound. 2010's four track epic Ausserwelt and the 2013 follow up Tocsin saw Year of No Light distilling their punishing sound even further; stalling the tempo to a glacial crawl and tuning guitars ever downwards to new uncharted depths. Consolamentum, the band's first full-length release in nine years and their first with Pelagic Records, brought the outfit's crushing double-drumming percussion to the fore as a masterclass in dynamic control saw Year of No Light embrace the highest highs and the lowest lows of the intervening years. Now approaching their 25th anniversary, `Les Maître Fous' is a pressing reminder that, despite the band's long and ongoing journey, Year of No Light have never been afraid to experiment, to take risks, to square up to life's ugliness and look it straight in the eye. This is one of the most obscure singles ever released in Venezuela in the 60s. It followed the global triumph of The Beatles that made the wave of beat groups get bigger and bigger and lots of new bands emerged, some of which would last while others would definitively go into oblivion, and a small number of them would leave at least one recording that today is considered a highly valuable collector's item. This is the case of The Pets. The band's only album, released in 1967, shows perfectly what the influences of the Venezuelan nueva ola (new wave) scene were at the time, including versions of The Doors, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Paul Revere & The Riders_ as well as the outstanding original 'El entierro de un hombre rico que murió de hambre', one of the finest garage tunes to emerge from Latin America that was also released as a 7" single. Their stunning take on The Doors' 'Hello, I Love You' takes the B side of this mega scarce 45. A garage DJs favorite! First time 45 reissue, audios remastered from the original master tapes.

Once again, Riba left everyone bewildered with a work that, on its own, gave early substance to what would eventually be known as roc català, of which Riba may well have been its most authentic representative. The album was recorded in the winter of 1975 with the help of the same group of musicians who had accompanied him a few months earlier at a concert at Zeleste to debut new songs: a mix of Valencian musicians from bands like Paranoia Dea and guitarist Eduardo Bort's group. "Electròccid àccid alquimístic xoc" marks a shift in Pau Riba's sound-now electrified and fully embracing rock with nods to Lou Reed, Ray Davies, and Kevin Ayers, but the core of "Electròccid_" is defined by Riba's own authorship. With lyrics that veer from poetic to absurdly ironic, Riba explores themes like the moon, the stars, death, love, women, the devil, and the bourgeoisie-fueling the originality that made him such a unique artist. It's striking how naturally and effortlessly Riba incorporated the Catalan language into the rock idiom-and vice versa. First vinyl reissue in over four decades!

By now an essential part of the Mindgames story, Kloke follows up his LP with Tim Reaper on Hyperdub with 4 tracks of Jungle vitality. As always with Andy's productions, there are fragments of memories that you can't quite identify embedded in the tunes framework, but the Kloke magic is using these familiar elements to build new tunes that enhance and embody this era of sound perfectly albeit with a distinctly recognisable identity. Of course this is the raison d'être of the Jungle revivalist producer set, but very few have mastered it like Kloke.

Slightly more floor-centric than his last Mindgames set, Mindgame 8 has a rugged vibe with punchy b lines and jagged breaks, doubling down on it's embedded authenticity.
