Sometimes it only takes a short getaway to the beach at the beginning of a new romance to open your heart to the wonders of the universe. On this record CV Vision taps into the ebb and flow of the sea, the cycle of coastal processes, and repositions the library sounds he’s mastered so well somewhere on the other side of the bay.

White noise washes like gentle waves up against analog synths and acoustic guitars, while the full spectrum of holiday possibilities are reflected: Surf’s Up (Let’s Trip) captures that roadtrip excitement, albeit with some psychedelic twist. But it’s not all sunshine - CV Vision makes sure to show the grey clouds too, with the sweet melancholy of Rainy Days.

Somewhere between dune rides and underwater dives, camp fires and sunsets, CV Vision captures a weekend at the beach in song. After a short moment of reflection (and some hallucinatory assistance), he wrote the lyrics and pieced the record together in the following weeks, to create what you see and hear now.

Instrumental interludes brush up against ballads and field recordings, to paint a wonderfully rich audio postcard from deep within CV Vision’s heart.

Tobias started his musical career back in 2009 on Johannes Heil´s and Daniel Schlender´s label called Metatron Recordings. After a few years as a resident DJ at Munich´s famous club Harry Klein he´s back with more melodic techno under his real name Tobias Wagner.
We are delighted to welcome him to our small `Future Romance´ family and proud to present his wonderful debut EP with three impulsive but dreamy tracks full of shimmering synths, crisp beats and epic highlights. As if these Originals were not enough we could win the cutting-edge Tel Aviv-based producer ´Stereo Underground´ as a remixer. Wellknown for his impressive releases on labels like Guy J´s Lost & Found or iconic australian imprint Balance Music, he added some more atmospheric work on "Emilia" and created a deep & melodic masterpiece in his typical unique style!

The Tenets of Forgetting is the long-awaited follow-up to MSYLMA’s lauded 2019 debut, Dhil-un Taht Shajarat Al-Zaqum. This time he’s joined by fellow musician and producer ISMAEL for seven tracks, built around a lush palette of synths and MSYLMA’s singular voice.

Written and produced in Cairo between 2015 and 2020, The Tenets of Forgetting is the first collaboration between MSYLMA and ISMAEL. Like his first record, The Tenets of Forgetting finds MSYLMA singing in classical Arabic, and the musicians have enlisted Nariman Youssef to provide translations of the lyrics. This gesture of openness runs parallel to the themes of the record; romance and vulnerability; growth and change; pathos and passion. Listeners who aren’t familiar with pre-Islamic poetry or classical Arabic will find the lyrics just as rich and beautiful as the vocal melodies imply, telling a story of love, loss, self-doubt, and grave introspection.

Musically, the album moves in broad, painterly sweeps of 808 kicks, rich synthesizer chords, and MYSLMA’s soaring, plaintive voice. The English translations reveal a second world of mathematically sound rhythmic structures and poetry in the lyrics. The music pushes and pulls in both tempo and timbre, swirling both around and underneath MSYLMA’s voice but never losing a sense of self-contained narrative.

The album is rounded out by Jesse Osborne-Lanthier and Omar El-Sadek’s immersive, esoteric art, and features additional production on track 7 by Osborne-Lanthier, Pierre Guerineau, and Asaël Robitaille.

Alsi‘s release did leave a solid statement to defend their motto, and because of this, it deserved a remix EP. Who better for such a task than two local heroes at the forefront of the Romanian scene? Cristi Cons and Priku require little to no introduction. Their remixes elevate everything Elements. had previously envisioned for this project: two very mature interpretations of Alsi’s original work, filling them with an outstanding richness and a straight-to-the-point, functional groove structure that assures both sides of the release are two incredibly deep, minimal techno wonders.

Musical storyteller ´Solee´ takes us on the 4th Future Romance journey with two brandnew tracks called "Sternstunde" and "Exhilaration", both packed with euphoric melodies and some extra drive for the deeper dancefloors.

Pressing on and extending an already incredible discography, Silat Beksi's imprint Modeight welcomes Irish talent Laughing Man to the family. On an impressive streak of his own following his Debut LP 'Divided Mirrors' Laughing Man continues to ply deep and divine house music territory with his exquisite skill. The A-side kicks off with 'Favourite Past Time', a swooning breakbeat roller that also gets a funked up remix with a signature boogie basseline by Romanian stalwart Triptil. On the flip side it's an intimate two step affair on B1's 'Lucid Thinking', a seductive, low slung session complete dulcet piano stokes and heady atmospheres. And to finish things off were go soul searching on the aptly named B2 cut 'Emotion'. Once again Laughing Man cuts to the core with his precision and prose. Adding a beautiful touch to the Modeight mantra.

‘Cranes In The Sky,’ was originally written by Beyonce’s baby sister Solange alongside Raphael Saadiq, for her album back in 2016 that was cited by Rolling Stone as one of the most important 500 records of all time. The words exploring a fearless journey inward, pulling up the root of a problem, and the first glimpse of blue sky after the storm has passed.

Fast forward to 2022 - Ross Allen and Andy Thompson’s Foundation Music Productions enlist the expertise of Baltimore club legend, Dj Oji, together with Tracy Hamlin (Pieces Of A Dream), to take Solange’s breakout delivery to the dancefloor. Soulful vocals will heal you, while the mid-tempo moments will mellow the masses, and UK Funky grooves will keep the shuffle moving along way into the early hours. Euphorik’s celebrating it’s 3rd birthday with it’s 3rd release. EUPH003 is the result of a collaboration between Romanian artists Herck, TmrsTn, Somesan and Euphorik's Parisian resident: Broski.
It gathers a secret minimal weapon, a beautiful rare pearl made by Herck, breakbeat rhythms with alienating sounds and a deep minimal dancefloor track not to be missed.

Untitled Musica unveil their second release with a carefully crafted EP by Romanian wizard, Herck.

"Stradivari EP" delivers two groove-infused musical masterpieces as an ode to the great violin maker of the 17th century.

After an excursion through deeply introspective sonic lands, Subtil is back to their usual club-oriented business, introducing Romanian artist Leanca for a two-track EP of minimal-leaning yet distinct moods.

The A-Side "Bra Manika" is a straight-to-the-point albeit hypnotizing dancefloor tune where the groove is king. Its leading hook revolves around a wonky bassline and a handful of quirky synth stabs, coupled with a trippy vocal sample that creates the perfect atmosphere for dancing hypnotism. The B-Side "I Know You", which carries the name of the EP, explores a much darker and experimental vibe while retaining the same rolling groove from the flipside of the EP. Synth noises are replaced by authentic sampled sounds, programmed in detail, giving it an almost cinematic touch.

black.round.twelve presents the second release on its imprint, signed by the Romanian talent Pîrvu.

Dance Refuge EP’ is a 4-track EP spanning from minimal house to broken beat, showcasing a collection of music drenched in vibrant and sincerely playful energy – a sonic naivety of sorts, very akin to Pîrvu’s own personality.

Both ‘Twelve’ and the title track ‘Dance Refuge’ fill the A-side of this record with a positively warm tone where the groove is king. Razor-sharp drum programming shines through compositions with hints of acid, profoundly accurate sub-basses, and just the right amount of atmosphere, creating a musical spectrum very prone to those floating, early-morning dancefloors. The flipside’s ‘Space’ follows the same groove-led narrative introduced previously and infuses it with an extra dose of playfulness and feel-good sound design before toning it down to the introspective ‘Lver,’ finishing this EP with just the right amount of breaks and warmth.

As usual, the cover of the EP was (undoubtedly) drawn and painted by the talented Berlin-based Juli Jah, beautifully portraying Pîrvu.

Some people are just not destined to have enough sleep.When you don't sleep enough the world appears to be a different place, compared to the way it is when the mind is fully rested. In such cases very different scenarios may occur.
Starting with a dreamy melody of Roma Zuckerman's 'Sleep not found', which inspired the entire 008 album, and ending with a thirteen minute live recording by a_000, the side project of Alex Backdrop, the entire record has a dreamy and tripped out flow. 008 continues the tradition of gatefold double EPs as conceptual album.All tracks are selected around a particular story, a trip, and presented as a continuous sonic landscape.All tracks are structured in a way that they can be mixed one with another an endless amount of times making a continuous loop, a trip, that needs only end when the party stops. Kraviz works without release dates or deadlines, enabling her to achieve a certain sound bank to shape the story, unmasking the thoughts and unravelling like a dream. A1. Roma Zuckerman - Sleep Not found (North Edit) Apart form the fact that he leaves in Krasnoyarsk in the middle of Russia, very little is known about Roma (short version of the name Roman). But listening to his music and engaging in random short conversations late at night makes it clear that there are really a lot of things going on Romas mind... Minimalistic yet emotionally complex, his music always stands out with it's murkiness and signature moodiness that Roma creates like nobody else.
A2. Deniro - G Deniro continues the record's journey with his new live cut that like pretty much everything he did so far is a beautiful sparse atmospheric groover. He says he wanted it to be angry and it its done with triggering synths from the tr909 and tr808.
B1. Maayan Nidam - Infinite Rattle
Maayan was born in Tel-Aviv. She does not like computers and prefers to record her music live using hardware only. In order to do so she built her incredible studio in Berlin where she recorded "Infinite Rattle'.There is much more to come from Maayan on
B2. Bbbbbb - Prins Polo Caramel milkshake.
Side project by Bjarki-bbbbbb. Like any other normal Icelander, Bjarki really likes ice cream. In Iceland they are absolutely crazy about it.They walk the streets, ice cream in hand, even when its freezing cold outside. But even more than that Icelanders like Milkshakes with all sorts of added cookies and candies. Bjarki's favourite is called Prince Polo after the name of a chocolate bar. He always believed Prins Polo was an Icelandic brand but a couple of months ago somebody proved him wrong.
C1. Exos- dub jazz
In Iceland Exos is a legend. Everybody knows him there. He's been playing incredibly powerful and technically advanced techno sets since the late 90s and releasing delicious dub techno on Icelandic label Thule. Nina always appreciated his subtler, dubbier side, and this short recording a the continuation of it.
C2. Maaayn Nidam - Justice for some
This second live recording was a perfect fit for this album. Maayan has managed to create a particular mysterious night time dreamer here. Sound wise it's even more unique. It took a few times to get the master right, because we wanted to keep the original breathing of the machine that has captured a seriously freaky vibe. Maayan has always been one of Nina's favourite DJs as they share a similar attitude towards music. But after this tune she has also reserved a place in Nina's collective of favourite producers. D1. The Tel-Aviv centered Yotam Avni officially joined forces with Stroboscopic Artefacts last year, turning in a sensual an invigorating entry for the Monad series. Thanks to his personalized fusion of esoteric and worldly sound elements, Avni immediately made a case to deliver more work to the label, and now he has done so with 'Perlude to Dybbuk,' the second in a new series of S.A. releases to feature the Oblique Artefacts visual team's distinct, elegant portrayals of scanned foliage. As with Avni's previous Monad contribution, the new Perlude to Dybbuk makes references - both in title and in sonic content - to the ancient Hebrew folklore of his homeland (a 'dybbuk' being a kind of limbonic spirit attaching itself to the body of a living human until it has successfully reached its final destination). However, the atmospheric, rather than overt, use of these references gives this record a level of dignity and quality as well as a premonitory feeling that hovers over the proceedings.The opening 'Avka (New Life)' opens with the twin stimuli of chthonic, rolling percussion and ambience that has become a modern Stroboscopic tradition, but ever so gradually deviates from the realm of the easily anticipated. Some of the surprises to be found here are sharp, organic drum fills and sighing strings that have an uncanny vocal quality to them. By the time a surgically clipped acid synth sample comes into the mix, the track has reached a simmering level of excitement and the listener's imagination will have license to reside in a virtual world seamlessly combining elements both ancient and futuristic.Dybbuk' temporarily situates listeners back in brutal modernity, with the first sounds heard being something like insistently slicing helicopter blades. Avni merely uses this as the foundation, though, for a genuinely unique construction whose shamanic beats, throttled horn and undertow of frenzied electronics combine to give the feeling of being menaced and eventually overtaken by a spirit entity. This piece shows just what Avni is capable when operating in a more aggressive, 'post-industrial' mode, and the result stands up with some of the best exponents of that genre.The finale 'Modern Matters' is the most readily club-friendly selection from the disc. This potent, floor-shaking and perspiration-inducing number superimposes resonant vocals from traditional Middle Eastern folk song onto this alchemical mixture of machine oil and sweat, and provides a romantic flair without resorting to naïve, touristic 'ethno-techno.' Avni's skillful dedication to counterpoint, and determination to make a finished form is more than the sum of its parts, shines through here and throughout the duration of this record.
