Matt Jam Lamont & Scott Diaz first joined forces more than a decade and a half ago and have been at it ever since, remixing Raze, Craig David, All Saints, Adina Howard, Rosie Gaines and more, as well as making waves with DJ appearances like their iconic B2B Glastonbury appearance. Having formed their Undagrnd Freqz label in 2020, serving up a brace of floor-slaying classics including a collaboration with US garage pioneer Todd Edwards, and 'Haribo' with Smokey 'Bubblin' B, clocking up more than a million streams and 36 million views as part of Fred Again's now legendary Boiler Room session. Their latest, 'The Best of Both Worlds', nods at their skill for fusing the best elements of both house and garage across four tracks of razor-sharp vocal chops, bumpin' beats and classy production flavours. Absolutely essential.

Scott Diaz taps into some old school garage class with this new EP on Pirate Cutxz, but never is it too slavish to the OG sound. Instead, he brings fresh ideas and modern production skills to four characterful cuts. 'Holdtight' opens in bunch fashion with big drums and busy chords dancing about next to yelps and sustained pads. 'So Hot' is a more subtle 2-stepper with a ducking and diving groove bathed in warm synth work and natty bass notes. 'Ikigai' shuts down with some 90s organ chords and sleazy, shuffling speed-garage style drums and well-deployed vocal samples. Effective stuff.

A collection that balances soulful vibes with modern an edge. Saison's "Can't Get Through" opens with deep textures and a classic house swing, while Piem, Saison & Kid Enigma's "Don't Stop" injects vocal fire and raw energy into the A-side. Flipping over, Matt Gillespie's "Need You Now" layers warmth and urgency into his take on the classic garage sound. Closing the record, Scott Diaz & Miss Yankey's "Intergalactic (Alternate Rub)" ventures into more garage territory with its atmospheric pull and soulful chords. A versatile package that brings together established names and rising voices in perfect balance.

Volume 1 showcases four cuts that bridge old & new remixes across deep house and US garage. Scott Diaz lifts “My Desire” (Next Phase, Helen Bruner & Terry Jones) into an extended, chord-rich dub; Crackazat reshapes Deep Zone & Ceybil Jefferies’ “It’s Gonna Be Alright (Help Is On The Way)” with musical keys and bumping swing. Flip for Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz 6:23 pressure on 10th Street Assembly’s “Free Me,” then the New Heights Swing Mix of Key To Life & Sabrina Johnston’s “Forever” signs off in soulful style.

Hes part of this new generation of French house artists who brilliantly reinvent the genre by infusing it with various inspirations. After collaborating and playing with several big names of the moment, he is set to unveil his new ALBUM TROUBLE, an 8 track album with double vinyl that promises an immersion into a musical universe skillfully blending jazz, house, garage, and soul, offering a unique sonic experience.

SPIL Records follows up its impressive vinyl debut here with a second 12" release featuring fresh tracks from label head Jack Swift and Scott Diaz. Diaz kicks off with 'Like Dis' which is all classic US house drums and bouncy bass, then Timmy P & Lunoize's 'Ouch' is a swirling, vocal-laced party starter. Swift then offers 'Burning' which is a lively garage house cut with throwback diva vocals. Devstar's Feel The Vibe remix shuts down with some more naughty, dark and dirty bassline sounds perfect for pumping up the floor.

Introducing 'Feel It': A long-awaited release by Rossi., with a remix by Garret David.

After captivating audiences with its irresistible energy and infectious hook during special moments of summer 2021 & 2022, Rossi.’s highly sought-after track 'Feel It' is finally set for release. Created in his infamous garden shed studio in 2020, this long-awaited track embodies raw authenticity and artistic brilliance.

On the B SIDE we have an instrumental version, plus an extra layer of flavour as Chicago-based hero Garret David brings his raw house & garage sound, completing the package with a bumpy remix.

A little known release on Scott Diaz’s now defunct Connectd records makes its first appearance on vinyl! Anyone that knows Caserta knows his affinity for '90s r&b. For (M) he snags a vocal from one of the most underrated and under appreciated vocalists of that time period. With two mixes featuring the keyboard stylings of the incomparable Yuki 'U-Key' Kanesaka the Dub version gets top billing on the A Side. Smooth keys by the aforementioned Kanesaka with a stripped down arrangement are sure to keep you 2 stepping no matter where your are.

On the B Side Caserta uses the same set up but this time with the classic 909 Drum Machine to keep take things to the next level!

Is a Deep / Jackin House track with driving drum parts, deep old skool organ stabs, with lots of MPC style swing. The track is an energetic groover that could well be another hit for the (Late Nite 'DUB' Addict) who owns / runs (Digital Label) (DEEP 'N' DOPE RECORDS (UK).

Fight for you right is most definately got the potential to become a future house anthem.
The track has allready recieved support and airplay from (London's Own) FANTASY FM
+ Groove City Radio (Scotland / Glasgow). This can only be described as deep / classic (U.S) style Garage / House / Banger, This Deep Underground but classic house track carries an abundance of energy, the track contains spoken vocals from a influential but controversial leader which gives the track an edge which just help build atmosphere and builds tension in the track - But definately in a good way. This track is a stand out groover that screams Anthem.

B1 - Confessions Of A 'DUB' Addict - Late Nite 'DUB' Addict (Original Mix)
This track is a minimal style (Deep House) track that has been influenced by the early (Rave) era and early (Chicago + Detroit) House + Techno scenes. The track has a slightly darker edge but still remains jumpy and is definately made for the danecfloor in the early hours of the morning, and has a certain wharehouse 'Feel' to it. The track contains bleeps, stabs, and 808 + 909 compressed drums. The track contains poly rythums and drums which evolve and give alot of movement within the track. This is another "Big Track" from the (Late Nite 'DUB' Addict) that has also recieved support from the (legendary) FANTASY FM.


B2 - Heroes In Our Own Home - Late Nite 'DUB' Addict (Original Mix)
The (Late Nite 'DUB' Addict) states it is no secret that his productions are heavily influenced by the (U.S) Garage / House scene of (New York) in the early (90's).
