Munich-based duo Glaskin, brothers Jonathan and Ferdinand Bockelmann, have become pivotal voices in modern techno, known for their residency at the legendary Blitz Club and standout releases on labels like Mutual Rytm and Figure. Their live sets channel dynamic, forward-thinking energy, and now they bring that momentum to FJAAK's ever-expanding CROWD family. With the Blue Light EP, Glaskin deliver four impeccably groovy tracks that balance stripped-down flair and shimmering texture. "Blue Light" opens the EP with mellow synth tones, a lean, hypnotic beat and a vocal loop murmuring 'here we go' that signals the underground journey ahead. Next up is "Captcha", releasing as the single, where a spoken female voice is layered atop rhythmic percussion, marrying atmosphere with groove-driven momentum. On the B-side, "Tape", digs deep into rolling uncompromising techno territory, strict in structure yet irresistibly danceable. The EP rounds out with "Prophat Tool Board", stepping slightly into house-leaning warmth, its broader rhythm and melodic warmth offering a fitting counterpoint to the brooding energy before it. The Blue Light EP is Glaskin's debut on CROWD and a shrewd expansion of the label's sound palette: richly textured techno made for both peak-time impact and immersive listening. To celebrate the release on the label, Glaskin will join label-founders FJAAK for a CROWD night at Nitsa Club in Barcelona on October 10, an event primed to showcase the raw energy and precision behind their studio work. Anvar Kalandarov is a music archaeologist, musician and producer from Tashkent, Uzbekistan with a focus on unearthing rare and hard to find gems from across Central Asia. Last year he compiled Synthesizing the Silk Roads: Uzbek Disco, Tajik Folktronica, Uyghur Rock & Tatar Jazz, released in collaboration with Ostinato Records. He also runs his own label Maqom Soul Records. Digging Central Asia is a mixtape that journeys through the psychedelic landscapes of the Silk Road, featuring recordings recorded between the 1970s through to the early 1990s.

Kalancea's work creates ungraspable sonic experiences, which overtakes you, immersing its listeners in powerful and mind-altering soundscapes. There's no quick payoff on Impedance. This is the sound of new, patient electronic music, full of depth and substance.

Alina Kalancea is a Romanian sound artist and composer based in Modena, Italy. She has studied sound design and synthesis with Enrico Cossimi and collaborated with producer Alex Gamez, and artists Julia Kent and Raven Bush. Highly recommended to fans of Eleh, Caterina Barbieri, Shasta Cults, Jessica Ekomane, Eliane Radigue, and Alessandro Cortini. Packaged in a deluxe, heavy duty tip-on gatefold sleeves printed by Stoughton; cut by Golden Mastering and pressed at RTI.

Fides Records celebrates ten years of independent sound and vision with the monumental 41-track release “FIDES X – 10 Years of Fides”. The first 12” FIDESX 1, set to release on 24th October sets the tone for the seven-part vinyl journey, opening with a powerful statement of intent.

UFO95 introduces “After Light Comes Shadow”, a bleep-infused 4/4 cut whose broken accents unfold into layers of cinematic tension. CENTRAL, a salsa band that has suddenly gained attention after releasing two singles and a full-length album last year, but is actually a group of seasoned salsa veterans, has already released a new single! This time around, CENTRAL has released a cover of “Brazilian Rhyme,” one of Earth, Wind & Fire's many classic songs that still remains a dance floor favorite, with a Latin arrangement that is full of CENTRAL's signature style. The groovy bass, shimmering electric piano, percussion, and outstanding horn arrangement make you want to dance and scream, “This is CENTRAL! The B-Side features DJ KAWASAKI's edit of “Samurai,” a definitive mellow salsa track that has now become a WANT-requested item from all over the world, sublimated into an even hotter dance track!

2025 Repress

It was only in 2018 that New York techno mainstay Joey Beltram revealed that he was the man behind 'SW37', a record which had been an underground classic since it first started doing the rounds in 1998. It remains an evergreen favourite almost 30 years on, which is why Damon Wild's Synewave is reissuing it here. The A-side is gloppy, dubby techno with impish percussion darting about the mix and drunken hits bring an off-kilter edge. On the flip, 'SW37B' is stripped back to pure deep techno serenity with deft ambient pads and a sense of unrelenting meditation that locks you in the here and now.

Zonate presents its fifth release, The Roots EP, uniting four tracks from three exciting new voices in the scene. The A1 comes from Guzman with Final Point - a grooving electro cut that builds patiently before unleashing a roaring drop in the second half. Bassy Bee follows with Will Not Hurt You - dark and evolving, driven by growling low-ends and self- recorded vocals. The flip side is all Gaston Cabrera. On B1, Persiguiendo Pesadillas is propelled by a defining arp that touches into prog-trance territory. Closing with B2, A La Luz De Las Velas, Cabrera returns to his South American–infused sound - hypnotic, driving techno / prog.

oDYSea is back for its second release with the much-awaited debut EP of Penelope, featuring four compelling club tracks brimming with power and grace.

Opener ‘Unexpected Dreams’ surges with muscular basslines and acid liquidity, while ‘Usual Suspects’ adds crashing breaks into the mix.

On the B-side, ‘Strange World’ steps into outer space with a broken beat, alien foghorn motif and big synth riffs, before the electro-house groove of ‘Flow’ sends us home with a funky bang. A hypnotic blend of techno pulse and delicate breaks, ready to take you on a full dance floor immersion.

The second phase of Invisible Inc’s 10-year anniversary celebrations has landed, hot on the heels of the scorching Phase 1.

Where Phase one focussed on the dub-style, electronic and ambient side of the label’s output, the second volume leans slightly more towards the ‘psych’ side of the label and is aptly titled “Resonance: Ten Years of Psychedelic Sounds From The Soul Of Invisible Inc”

Hailing from Raw Culture, Anna Funk Damage returns with his third release on the Roman label, delivering a record as fierce as it is intimate. Tarantola was born out of a winter suspended between contrasting emotions – melancholy, anger, love, confusion – distilled into a sound that transforms personal fragility into collective energy. There’s no pursuit of perfection here, but rather an urgency running through the veins, taking shape across supersonic punk, wave, ambient and industrial.

Each track is an emotional fragment, a bite that leaves its mark: from the electric tension of Vivere Distaccati to the feverish rush of Trasmissione, from the rawness of Decadente to the hypnotic title track Tarantola, which embodies the beating heart of the album. Side B unfolds into more nocturnal and intimate landscapes, from Chiang Mai to the disenchanted sincerity of Lavoro Troppo, closing with a party that carries the bittersweet taste of reality.

Tarantola is a journey into the chaos of human emotions, an album that doesn’t just narrate but pulls you deep into its sonic labyrinth, giving noise back its vulnerable yet powerful soul.

Rotterdam's Bright Message Records' second release is the highly anticipated 12-inch vinyl "KING INNA THE RING," produced by Imperial Sound Army. The title refers to the powerful vocal version, sung by UK-based King Stanley, which immediately creates the impression of a true anthem and a strong tribute to Jah Rastafari. The vocal version is paired with a dub cut that strongly emphasizes this element of praise. The way this dub connects the A-side and B-side of the record, reveals both Dan-I's years of experience as a soundsystem selector and excellent production skills.

The B-side contains the fantastic melody version "TROMBONE INNA THE RING." With an unexpected intro and upfull vibes, Matic Horns shows he grooves like no one does and keeps the melody tuff till the end. The final track is a dub of Matic's melody version, in which Dan-I explores the full depth of his riddim.

"King Inna The Ring" is a versatile record that captivates from start to finish and was played as dubplate by a handful of well-known soundsystems during the summer of 2025.

NIKS steps further into her own sonic world with 'Moves Like 2', a powerful statement of intent that blends groove-heavy percussion and hypnotic club energy. The release offers a deeper glimpse into her identity as a producer.

The lead track 'Moves Like 2' is a pretty raw and direct UK club cut, the sound at the core which has influenced and set the tone of the more ‘heads down’ side of this release.

Sub Glow touches on the fun and playful side of the EP, providing softer textures through elongated pads, growing synths and an overall brightness.

Moves Like 2 receives a rework from one of the most tasteful and timeless producers, rRoxymore - who provides a deeper percussive and rhythmic touch to the feature track.

241 rounds off the EP with a slappy and ballsy tone, which features NIKS’ manipulated vocals, concluding the release on a succinct high and buzz.

Debuting on her new imprint, ‘Bloom Tone’, will serve as a self-directed outlet for NIKS’ own productions and friends, providing a platform for her creative autonomy and musical exploration.

Andy Ash is a long time contributor to the sound of Quintessentials, with his album "All the colours" being the highlight of his work. Until now! The Liverpudlian shows superb diversity on his new EP called "Silent Planet". The opener, "Patch 2" is a stripped down masterpiece of Dub Techno and a perfect club tool. "Hross" can be called Acid House, and you know we love that! The B-side shows more of a relaxed vibe with the beautiful string-laded "Franco alley" and the smooth low BPM track "Yellow". This silent planet has something to say and shows great variety of styles and Andy's skills as a producer - and yes, all AA releases have his own artwork!
