Brånd is one weird/post black metal act from the Upper Austrian town of Linz.

Started off in 2015 as a solo act by Vritra (also in Kringa and Weathered Crest) with the need for a form of expression free from perfection or boundaries, over the past ten years the ever-evolving project ventured into various soundscapes, from crude black metal to lo-fi ambient and from ferocious post-punk to psych downer rock, all while splitting releases with extreme underground torchbearers like Absolute Key, Calvary and Rosa Nebel.

Joined by musicians to evolve old and new ideas, Brånd debut full-length album grew from 4-track demos gathered over the last decade to become an album of richly arranged songs from all over the fields of interest, breaking from their lo-fi tradition to new horizons.

To describe thoroughly “Tåg & Nåcht” is possibly the hardest task to do, given all the influences that are skilfully intertwined and perfectly balanced. In this witches’ brew the most schooled listeners will hear some angular post-punk à la Gang Of Four sustaining pagan declamations in the vein of Fenriz folk metal excursus Isengard. Straight forward dark anarcho punk assaults are mitigated by almost new age juxtapositions. Traces of 70’s German krautrock like La Düsseldorf are melted into a heavy metal cast, while wind instrument raids that are equally James Chance and Death In June seem to drop when least expected.

The sound is crunchy and surprisingly warm, contrary to what one might expect of a band emerging from a black metal background. But right now, Brånd is so much more than this: they can master a wide range of sounds that span from 70’s space rock, passing through 80’s post-punk and UK82, reaching 90’s black metal and 2000’s blackgaze, all in one incredibly coherent album. Blue Sky Vinyl. Teethe is a band from Texas. The members of Teethe met while attending the University of North Texas in Denton, TX, a small college town outside of Dallas with a fertile music scene. Before forming Teethe, its core members Boone Patrello, Grahm Robinson, Madeline Dowd, and Jordan Garrett all played in various other groups in Denton, releasing music under different pseudonyms. Patrello released solo music via his Dead Sullivan moniker, while Robinson released under MAH KEE OH. Patrello and Robinson linked up with Dowd to record an album for her project, Crisman, in 2019. They all eventually moved in together, leading the group to start recording more as a whole unit, and subsequently Teethe was born.Made over the course of 2020, Teethe's eponymous debut album is a collection of songs pieced together over time - a sonic collage of fragmented recordings and half finished tracks made whole in the midst of isolation. Initially self-released in November of 2020 with little fanfare, the album's warm, lo-fi aesthetic and slow, calming songs spread by word of mouth. Roughly one year later, at the top of 2022, the band returned with "Tag", a new single that caught the attention of slowcore fans and garnered shout outs from unlikely celebrities. Tours soon followed with Charlie Martin of Hovvdy, Momma, Milly, Waveform, and They Are Gutting A Body of Water. The band continued to record their own music, releasing another single, "Lucky," in the fall of 2022, and most recently partnered with Saddle Creek for their 7-inch series to release their newest single, "Moon," in October of 2023. Now spread between Dallas and Austin, the Texas band has recently signed with Winspear and will be re-issuing their self-titled debut LP this winter, along with a pressing of "Tag," "Lucky," and never before released b-side "Thanks" on 7-inch vinyl.

Alter is proud to present the debut full length release from devotional music outfit Unstern, a collaborative effort between deep ambient artist Arzat Skia and prodigal pianist Leo Svirsky. Co-mixed by Swedish electronic music luminary Civilistjävel! and Arzat Skia and mastered to tape by Stefan Betke, the album features lush electronics, two pianos refracting across the stereo field, processed recordings from the Peruvian Amazon, bowed percussion by Greg Stuart, alongside strings and renaissance meantone organ recorded at Orgelpark in Amsterdam.

The results are an abundant audio illusion where what seemingly repeats slowly over time morphs in a manner where the destination escapes the departure point with extreme discretion, a reverent nod to Morton Feldman's compositional method of "Crippled Symmetry."

Throughout Es Geht Der Tag there is a muted, refined melancholy imbued with a constantly fluctuating pulse which generates a sense of temporal disorientation, leaving the listener lost in a strange yet not at all unfamiliar sonic labyrinth. It is a journey whereby a glorious subtle tension exists between the grandiose and the restrained.

This is environmental music, not in the sense of capturing nature itself, more with regards to an unfolding of audio elements which move in a manner in tune with the multitude of flows in the world.

Heller Tag is the debutalbum of Berlin-based jazz collective Conic Rose.
The young musicians come from the most diverse musical backgrounds: their other projects include names such as arena-filling German pop stars Clueso or Samy Deluxe but also Jazz legends such as Michael Wollny or Joy Denalane.

What connects them is their love to explore, create, redefine and effortlessly move between abstraction and accessibility, high quality sound and the beauty of the imperfect - interweaving electronic elements, cinematic jazz, vibey soundscapes and hints of art rock with eclectic, zeitgeisty influences.
Their releases so far as well as the few shows they played on the back of their debut EP (2020) exceeded all expectations, attracting the attention of industry professionals all the way from the UK or USA.

All songs are written, recorded and produced by Conic Rose in their own recording studio in the Wedding neighbourhood of Berlin.

In Hollis Debütalbum Der erste gute Tag kann sich jeder wiederfinden, der auch schon mal einen schlechten Tag hatte Der erste gute Tag ist ein Album übers Älterwerden und übers Dazulernen, über Fehler und was man aus diesen mitnehmen kann.

So ist es dann auch eher auf der melancholischen Seite der Gemütsskala angesiedelt, wenn auch beizeiten tanzbar-lebhafter Indie Rock und melodisch-folkige Arrangements darüber hinwegtäuschen mögen. Der erste gute Tag ist ein Album in tagebuchartigen Momentaufnahmen, aber ohne aufdringliche Weisheiten.

15 Songs mit geballten Fäusten und für immer Grinsen
im Gesicht. Positive Grundstimmung, ja. Aber kein
zahnloses Happy-Go-Lucky-Statement. Sondern: Wut,
Witz und WTF.
Das neue Album der DONOTS kommt zur richtigen Zeit.
Es ist nicht weniger als eine Wohltat. In ihren
besten Momenten kommt die Scheibe so nah an die
Live-Energie der Band wie keins ihrer vorherigen Alben.
An den entscheidenden Stellen aber ruht sie wie
selbstverständlich in sich und nimmt sich die Zeit, die sie
braucht, um ihre Wirkung voll zu entfalten.
HEUT IST EIN GUTER TAG verbeugt sich zeitgemäß
vor den Old School-Einflüssen der Band: Punk, Rock,
HC, Indie und Pop. Dabei hebt die Platte jedoch alle
Trademarks der DONOTS elegant auf das nächste
Level. Keine Wiederholungen, keine Kompromisse.
Natürlich wurden sämtliche Spielarten der klassischen
DONOTS Sportgitarre ausgelotet. Doch was auf früheren
Platten ähnlich, aber besser zu finden war, wurde sofort
verworfen.
So entstand in liebevoller Kleinarbeit ein Meilenstein der
Bandgeschichte. HEUT IST EIN GUTER TAG ist eine
weitere erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit mit Produzent und
Bandfreund Kurt Ebelhäuser, der schon für Alben wie
"Coma Chameleon" und "Lauter als Bomben"
verantwortlich zeichnete. Beim Mixing der Platte sorgte
das Jungtalent Michel Wern verlässlich dafür, dass HEUT
IST EIN GUTER TAG bei aller Vielfalt wie aus einem
Guss klingt

Tag & Wandrach are returning to Burial Soil and this time with a bang. For this amazing EP they could win none other than Legowelt and Maelstrom to remix their song "Zusammenkunft". And in traditional manner our Label head Ravn Jonassen laid his hands on their b-side tune "Aus Der Ferne". You can expect some great variety in all the remixes.

This fan-favourite soundtrack is stuffed with all manner of experimental electronic music by a sizeable composition team comprising Namco (now) veterans (collective credits include Katamari Damacy, Ridge Racer, Ace Combat, SoulCalibur and many more.)
This triple LP set features brand new vinyl sleeve artwork by illustrator Samuel Donato aka DXSinfinite. Tracklists have been curated by four-time Guinness World Record-holder, multi-game world champion and all-round fighting game community legend Ryan Hart.
As with other titles in our series of releases, TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT has been specially remastered by Joe Caithness and will be pressed onto 180g heavyweight black vinyl LPs housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve.

zu zelebrieren: unsere Tag am Meer Vinyl Compilation
zelebriert ihre fünfte Veröffentlichung. Seit 2015 präsentiert
BlackFoxMusic jedes mal eine ausgewählte Selektion an
Tracks von Künstlern, welche im jeweiligen Jahr bei Tag am
Meer gespielt haben und das gepresst auf schwarzem Gold.
Dieses mal mit Kid Simius im Magit Cacoon Remix, Kollektiv
Ost und dem Live Act JPattersson. In Zeiten von Spotify,
Deezer und Co. mag das für manch einen kurios anmuten,
doch so wie wir unser kleines Festival an einem ganz
außergewöhnlichen Ort veranstalten, ist auch die Idee und die
Umsetzung unserer jährlichen Compilation etwas Besonderes.
Die DJ’s und Live Acts liefern die Musik und die
Besucher*innen, liefern jedes Jahr aufs Neue die Bilder für das
Plattencover im darauffolgenden Jahr. Jedes Plattencover
setzt sich aus euren Schnappschüssen zusammen die Ihr uns
zusendet und ist somit ein waschechtes
Gemeinschaftsprojekt. Für uns ist dies eines von vielen
Puzzleteilen, welches zum Tag am Meer dazugehört, denn
Gemeinschaft lässt sich nicht nur zwischen Campingareal undDancefloor erleben, sondern auch im Rahmen eines Projektes
wie einer gemeinsamen Platte. Und dafür möchten wir euch
allen einfach einmal ‚Danke‘ sagen.

Since the millennium 2raumwohnung unites electronic sounds and pop melodies in a variety of ways. The early singles 'Wir trafen uns in einem Garten' (2000) or '2 von Millionen Sternen' (2001) playfully communicated the life-style of a new Berlin. The duo, consisting of Inga Humpe and Tommi Eckart, started as a studio project and continued to develop via eight album productions. At the same time, an important impulse included developments in techno or house music. Their most successful album '36 Grad' stayed in the German album-charts for 33 weeks; 2raumwohnung continued to expand their stage range as well.
