Operating in a lane of her own, she draws on her UK roots with bass laden bounce and never forgets to add that sapphic touch crucial to SBC. “Rebel Royale” is keeping techno freaky, cheeky and ahead of the curve.

Quintessentially out of control, elements of tension and release are toyed with throughout all the tracks, the building and driving addictive synth work in Venom & Vision; Serpent’s Rising sending even the most sane into a spiral. Basslines come thick and heavy, chunky by nature and particularly prevalent in Delicately Mad and My Lipgloss My Rules, they are the backbone of the record. Don’t get it twisted, this isn’t some run of the mill techno; the modular bleeps and freakouts, FX and vocals are wired and inspired; the glue showcasing Yazzus’s fully sick technical abilities. Last but not least, she entails the help of friend DJ Fuckoff; haunted slippery vocals are a match made in heaven for the percussive psy workout Erotica.

Under-the-radar artist CV1 debuts on Life In Patterns Lab with "Blocks of Darkness", a six-track EP that delivers a captivating blend of raw, expressive techno inspired by 90s and 2000s sounds with a modern edge. This release showcases CV1's talent for crafting immersive techno journeys, balancing peak-time energy with deeper, hypnotic, and introspective moods. "Blocks of Darkness" is set to release in mid-July 2025 on hand-stamped vinyl and digital formats.

Cosmological returns with the second chapter, 4 tracks for the dancefloor different from each other, with raw drums and acid electro synths that lup and evolve into exuberant but at the same time mysterious melodies, with kicks and bass lines that go from progressive techno to house with a side dish of sharp vocals.

As rRoxymore, Hermione Frank has been exploring the outer edges of the dance floor and producing music that goes beyond traditional genre boundaries for more than a decade. In that time she has covered plenty of ground from caustic and abrasive techno to long-form and immersive grooves, always with a focus on contrasting tempo, texture and tone. On previous albums she intertwined the electronic and the acoustic with elements of psychedelia and jazz. With Juggling Dualities, Frank takes a sideways look at New Age and Wellness culture.

Writing the album came about after many months of being unable to create during a complicated personal time which left her lacking inspiration, feeling creatively stuck yet emotionally uprooted. What helped was distance - taking time and space to disconnect from the struggle. That brought a different rhythm to life and a fresh perspective that allowed exploration without any expectations. A six-week surge of intense creativity followed in which the majority of the album was written. As she explains, "The record represents a journey of reconnection that conveys an underlying message of hope and healing at its core. I think it is my most honest
work to date."

Initially conceived as a New Age project but with a signature personal twist and some subtle humour, there is a familiarity to Juggling Dualities. It is warm and comforting with a sound palette that is refined but familiar - there are soothing signifiers and organic designs that nod to the motifs of New Age but passed through a more contemporary lens.

Juggling Dualities is an invitation to reconnect with yourself. It's music that encourages you to take a pause, be in the moment and reflect on the fact that no matter what challenges come your way, they shall eventually pass.

Teasing dread atmospheres and zooming in on microscopic details that bring every beat in every bar to life, Seb Uncles returns to Samurai Music with another deep dive into his exquisitely crafted, cinematic progression of the drum & bass tradition.

Even a cursory glance at the Eusebeia back catalogue tells you Uncles is an artist committed to the storytelling promise of breakbeat culture. His work has been heavily tipped towards albums since he first broke through around 2015, and across more than 10 long-players he's cultivated a strong line in moody, evocative jungle and drum & bass more concerned with world-building and subtle detail rather than aggression and intensity.

Following up on his 2023 LP for Samurai, X, on Undertones Uncles applies his signature meditative tones to a broad expanse. There's a consistent sound palette that leans on the warm snarl of monosynth low end and aqueous pads, delicately edited breaks and crisply sculpted synth percussion, but Uncles moves with dexterity around different tempos and structures within this considered sound world. The overarching notion is one of things lurking beneath the surface - a comfortably open theme to be approached and understood from any number of angles. It certainly chimes with the upfront detail and brooding tension that gives the Eusebeia sound such depth.

There are moments of direct drum pressure, such as fierce opener 'Undertones' with its diced-up breaks and icy chords, the boisterous jungle dread of 'Uncover' and chasmic roller 'Root Out', but on the likes of 'Beneath The Surface' and 'Out In The Open' it's the mellow elements that take precedence over the deft drum science. The motion is persistent and nuanced, but it's achieved without deferring to default dancefloor tropes.

'Emergence' marks a pointed shift towards a delicate strain of techno that maintains the album's sound at a mid-paced pulse, focusing on synth shapes and textures to achieve propulsion with only the lightest of drum parts. Alongside the energetic intrigue of Uncles' sonic choices, the melodic make-up of the track is a compelling showcase for his emotionally ambiguous approach, both rousing and chilling in the same curious chord shapes.

From the half-time prowl of 'Lifting The Veil' to the creeping textures and haunted phrasing of 'Brought To Light', Undertones is another stunning exercise in widescreen jungle. It flows naturally from the rich body of work Uncles has cultivated over the past 10 years while carving out its own unique pocket - a reminder if you needed one of the profound sound bedded into the Eusebeia project.

line with the cascading magic of Adelaide pianist (and techno veteran) Antony Coppens.

Sublunar and Sciahri are proud to welcome Paris-based Tunisian artist Clotur to the label.
Known as the head of Warok Music, Clotur makes his debut on Sublunar with "Retro Reverie", a uniquely diverse EP that showcases his impressive creativity and his ability to move across different shades of techno with ease and personality.

The journey begins with "Glitch Parade", an eccentric yet infectious track driven by a captivating groove that immediately pulls you in. "Dataline" follows, offering a sleek balance between minimalism and modern textures while maintaining a distinct identity.

On the B-side, "Ghost Transmission" delivers a sultry bassline and seductive vocal elements that infuse the track with a warm, groovy atmosphere. The fourth release on ALT, the sub label of Cartulis Music, sees the return of AV1, the freshly formed French duo composed of Chris Carrier and Le Loup. Following the success of Waves + Plants Pt. 1 (ALT004.1), the pair now delivers the highly anticipated second chapter, pushing the boundaries of their sonic exploration

AV1 is the result of a deep-rooted connection between two of the most respected names in the Parisian underground scene. Chris Carrier, a prolific producer and DJ since the late ‘90s, has carved out a legacy with his unmistakable approach to house and techno. Le Loup, equally revered for his refined touch and forward-thinking productions, brings his own signature style to the table. Together, they craft an electrifying synergy built on a shared love for acid, deep grooves, and classicist house/techno foundations.

Waves + Plants Pt. 2 (ALT004.2) expands on the energy of the first release, offering a fivetrack journey through a diverse soundscape. The Belgium-born, Paris-based Nathalie Duchene joins Radio Slave’s Rekids via a collaboration with the label boss himself. ‘We Are Youth’ lands 11th July 2025 and includes a remix from CASSIMM.

Embodying the spirit of summer with glistening piano keys, vibrant strings, and a snazzy bassline, Nathalie Duchene & Radio Slave's ‘We Are Youth’ brims with feeling. Halina Rice is a London-based electronic music artist known for her groundbreaking approach to music production and live performance.Rice has established herself as a leading figure in the contemporary electronic scene, blending complex soundscapes with immersive visual elements.

Max Watts, the elusive force behind Limited Network, emerges from the shadows with his first double-pack release, Archives EP. Watts reveals a selection of tracks that have remained hidden—dating back to 2019 and never before appearing on vinyl. Despite the ongoing enigma surrounding Watts and Limited Network, Archives EP is a stark, no-nonsense exploration of minimal techno. Drawing inspiration from pioneers of the second wave of Detroit techno, this EP delivers eight tracks steeped in raw energy. The official soundtrack to Jean-Cosme Delaloye's documentary about the life and career of Detroit techno pioneer Carl Craig, Desire: The Carl Craig Story is set for release on digital platforms on 20th June 2025, with 2x12” Vinyl and CD editions to follow on 18th July 2025.

The collection, coming via his prolific and seminal Planet E Communications, features music from across Craig’s vast catalog, including several tracks that have never previously seen full digital release. Among the rare and remastered tracks featured is No More Words - originally released in 1991, newly reissued on vinyl and available digitally for the first time. A foundational track in the Detroit techno canon, No More Words captures the emotive synths and tight grooves of Craig’s sound that would soon resonate across dance floors worldwide. Its reissue marks a moment of reflection on the genre’s roots and evolution.

Another remastered track from Craig’s extensive archive is The Truth, a deep cut from Craig’s discography under his Designer Music alias, now widely available for the first time a quarter-century after its original release. The film’s end credits are scored by the contemplative Meditation 4, an ambient production previously only available on Craig's 2013 Masterpiece compilation CD for Ministry of Sound.

Iconic remixes such as his Grammy-nominated rework of Junior Boys’ Like A Child is included alongside lesser-known but equally epic remixes such as his sublime 2012 mix of Slam’s Azure, which is employed for the film’s title credits and had previously only seen a limited release. Also featured across the soundtrack’s multiple formats are iconic Carl Craig productions under his 69, Psyche/BFC and Innerzone Orchestra aliases, and collaborations with Moritz von Oswald and Francesco Tristano.
