Tsuyushi Hamada, a.k.a. Dayzero, has been producing and DJing for well over a decade, dropping deep heaters on labels including Livity Sound, ZamZam, and many more. We’re very happy to welcome him to the Tectonic family with this epic six-tracker, which sees Dayzero explore the deeper outer reaches of dubstep, techno - and the spaces he gravitates to in between.

‘Ego’ opens the EP at 134 BPM with a primal calling, conjuring spirits from the fire around a delicate but deliberate pitter-patter of interlocking drums and finely tuned delays. Moving up to 140 BPM for the rest of the EP, we’re skirting through the city lights with the techno-compatible energy of ‘Midnight Train’ and taking in old-school grime echoes with ‘Furious Dogs’.

Flip the vinyl here (if you have one!), and ‘Blur’ generates a light disorientation with its polyrhythmic melody. ‘Kingdom’ soundtracks a brooding sense of dread on a late-night drive, before we close with the title track, ‘Soaring’—a conga workout with a thousand-mile stare on it!

Surprises are nice. Unexpected, delightful - Vision Fortune last released music in 2015, and so odds were off that we’d hear from them again.

But against all odds, Vision Fortune III is coming out on Gringo Records, following the release of their last album ‘Country Music’ on ATP Records.

The trio first agreed to record a new album as somewhat of a dare over a marathon pasta and wine heavy luncheon in Palermo, Sicily. Waking up with sore heads, they realised in mild panic that flight tickets had been purchased, a cottage in rural Wales was booked, and it was too late to pull out.

And so it was - the Fortunes arrived in Machynlleth Wales in Spring of the following year. The rules were simple - takes were live, songs minimal and the fireplace kept roaring.

Drummer Andres Ayerbe’s strict roast lamb dinner cooking schedule resulted in an album less frenetic and agitated than previous work - instead, III explores a softer, more subdued and subtle side of Vision Fortune. Additional overdubs were recorded in New York City and Birmingham, by AC Williams and Alex Townend. III was completed - a new, leaner Vision Fortune. Like a good lamb dinner - more meat, less fat.

Mr Bongo reissues, in full for the first time, a pioneering Trinidadian steelband album from 1979. Masterminded by the key and highly influential calypso / soca steelpan player, Len "Boogsie" Sharpe, Phase2 showcases Boogsie’s innovative fusion of jazz, funk and Caribbean rhythms in stunning style.

Dubbed ‘the Mozart of Pan’ by Wynton Marsalis, Boogsie began playing pan at the age of five and composed his own music by the age of nine years old. Across a long and illustrious career, he has won seven National Panorama Championships in Trinidad and Tobago with his compositions and band, a world Steelband Music Festival with his original compositions “In the Rainforest”, and two Notting Hill Panorama Championships with Mangrove Steel Orchestra. Over the years he has also played with Andre Tanker, Lord Shorty, Lord Kitchener, Leston Paul, Clive Zanda, and other amazing Caribbean greats. Len became an arranger for the National Steelband of Trinidad and Tobago and is a cultural ambassador for the country promoting the instrument.

The eponymous debut EP by London-based dreampop duo deary. The six-track release is available on 12" vinyl, CD with five additional bonus tracks/remixes and digitally. Their debut single 'Fairground', which came out at the end of January, was an instant classic. A mix of shoegaze beauty and trip-hop beats, it was amazing to see people falling in love with it in real time as it gained airplay around the world, a remix by Saint Etienne and hit number one on the Official Charts' vinyl singles chart. The EP includes the follow-up, the deliciously dark 'Beauty In All Blue Satin', and third single 'Sleepsong', plus three more tracks. The CD format adds a cover of Pretenders' "2000 Miles", the Saint Etienne "Fairground" remix and three more versions of that track (a.o. Live and Extended).

Handed to the legendary Channel One Soundsystem in exclusivity over a year ago, Don Fe's Jericho has been on constant rotation around the globe ever since. Cut to dubplate by Mikey Dread this tune has been securely locked down and spun exclusively as Channel One's last tune at places such as Notting Hill Carnival and many of the soundsystem's international sessions and festival appearances. UK born musician and producer based in Spain for over 20 years, Don Fe's passion since the age of five has been music, classically trained in piano, flute and theory and as from sixteen reggae. From his humble beginnings in the 80s with a 4 track and a TDK D90 his riddims and productions are now being played by the world's most respected sounds - Channel One, Jah Shaka, Aba Shanti, Iration Steppas and many more all over the world.

Expanding on his signature cinematic canvas, the EP solidifies the immersive, spiritual space Common Saints occupies in the contemporary landscape, a distinct sound with trademark intricate studio arrangements.

Following the structural foundation laid by the project's breakout singles "Night Light" and the title track "Illusions", the full EP stands as a striking philosophical assessment of the modern human condition. Veerus & Mattia Saviolo bring their A-game for the brilliant ‘Move Your Body’. The Italian compatriots aren’t new faces to Drumcode. Veerus has earned his stripes via five fantastic EP over an eight-year period, highlighted by ‘Hypnosis’, ‘System’ and ‘Cycle’. Meanwhile Mattia Saviolo is a recent debutant dropping the excellent ‘Parallel Dimension’ on A-Sides Vol.10. When Veerus suggested a collaboration to Mattia, he didn’t mince his words. “Yes, but it has to be a bomb!” Over two days the pair locked in to build an outstanding peak-time production from the ground up. “We started completely from scratch, with no ideas prepared in advance and no project exchanges before meeting. In just two days the track was finished and everything happened very naturally. We both brought our own vision into the process without stepping on each other’s toes, which made the collaboration feel effortless from start to finish,” Veerus shares. ‘Move Your Body’ has a distinct charismatic appeal not commonly found in techno tracks, highlighted by a stomping riff throughout and tension-filled break, before it turns into a pumping cut in the final stanza. A straight-up belter! Accompanying it is a captivating solo track from Mattia, ‘Mindframe’. An absolute gem, file under futuristic techno that sounds like no other.

Jasmín returns to fabric Originals with the second instalment in her four-part series, Concrete Summer / Skeletal.

Following her debut release It’s Girls Night / Long Hair, the Dutch-Argentinian producer delivers two stripped-back, percussive techno cuts shaped by the architecture, tension and atmosphere of cities after dark.

Concrete Summer opens with a primordial pulse: saturated drums and feverish shaker rhythms lock into a raw, hypnotic groove. On the flip, Skeletal pushes deeper into the night, pairing a driving kick and syncopated percussion with distorted drones and mounting pressure.

Sparse, physical and deeply immersive, both tracks leave space for the dancer to complete the picture, continuing Jasmín’s singular exploration of stripped-back techno and the nocturnal worlds at the heart of her ongoing collaboration with fabric.

Marking their first new material of 2026, Alien Chicks are back with a glorious new EP 'Toys Taken At Birth' - available on CD as well as gloriously limited glow in the dark vinyl (strictly limited to 500 copies ever in this version), with recent standout Live EP 'Live At The Windmill' included on the B Side 'Toys Taken at Birth' is about the injustice that leaves some people with everything and some with nothing. Blossoms return with their 6th studio album, ‘Songs From The Wedding Cake’. Featuring singles 'Meet Me In Love' and 'Joke About Divorce', the Wedding Cake, nickname for Stockport’s Town Hall where band member Tom Ogden got married, spans 10 tracks and follows up the 2024 number 1 album 'Gary'. The album, produced by Shawn Lee, was recorded entirely to tape & is due for release 2nd October 2026.

Tronic has a 20-30 year long history with releasing melodic house and techno. While we opted for the more raw sound in the past few years, Christian wanted to go back to his roots and produce more emotive, groovy, and melodic house and techno again. Lamour Toujours is a progressive groover that has a disco-influenced bassline and adds an emotive chord progression in the break. We asked Argentinean legend Hernan Cattaneo to make a remix. As a long time supporter of Tronic we felt that he would be a great candidate for this remix. Hernan Cattaneo and Kevin Di Serna teamed up and delivered a stunning remix focusing on the melodic chord progression of the original! Italian maestro Gai Barone mutates 'L'Amour Toujours' into a stunning, mind-bending interpretation that proves his insane ability to rewrite the rulebook. Meanwhile, Colombian powerhouse Kamilo Sanclemente stays closer to the original, injecting a massive, chord-driven progression built to elevate any room. Three classy, high-caliber remixes. We're absolutely buzzing with this drop.

Palms Trax returns to production with his first release since 2019. The first single off his upcoming 2 track EP 'Soft Trance, Hard Gossip' is a journey through bold basslines, ear tingling acid lines and hopeful synth lines. It feels measured in its temperament for a listen on the bus home whilst punchy enough to earn its place across festival and club sets this summer. The title track Keys To A Printed Garden captures him at his best, moving deeper into a lush, melodic setting that stretches beyond the dancefloor while never fully leaving it behind. The track is built around warm deep house grooves, hazy nu groove textures and subtle IDM notes. The record unravels with a dreamlike smoothness. Swirling synth work, jazz-inspired saxophone lines and soft lo-fi textures give the record an immersive, almost weightless quality, while moments of glitch and ambient drift push it into more experimental territory. Even at its most reflective, steady percussion and rolling grooves maintain a subtle club-rooted pulse, balancing emotional depth, introspection and atmosphere with movement, rhythm and understated precision.

'Everyone' was Recorded in Tokyo, Japan over two days in late September 2025. The album musically chronicles Greg Foat's first tour of Japan. The album was commisioned by Tokyo based clothing Label 'Everyone' and is a fantastic mix of Ambient, Jazz and Electronic music genres

Each track celebrates a special memory of the tour, from the opener 'Shirahama Beach' home to the wonderful FFKT festival to the playful 'Lake Haruna Boat Ride'.

The album also features Tokyo based jazz musicians Kensuke Miyaki on Baritone Saxophone and Bass Clarinet and Yoshihiro Kaneko on Double Bass. Limited to 700 vinyl copies only with obi strip.

Originally released in 1992, FM by Freddie McGregor brings together recordings made between 1977 and 1982 for Earl "Chinna" Smith"s High Times label. The album features backing from the Soul Syndicate and includes the tracks "Natural Collie," "Revolutionist," "Mission Impossible," "Strange Things," "Mark Of The Beast," "Sergeant Brown," "Leave Yah" and "Love Ballad." This reissue is presented in the original artwork, remastered for vinyl, and is available on cyan vinyl LP and CD formats.

If you've yet to succumb to the charms of Children of Zeus - and there can't be many out there who haven't - then this "odds and ends" LP offers a neat introduction. Five of the seven tracks have been plucked from the Manchester crew's previous full-length excursions, while the other two - seductively soulful two-step garage reworks of "Vibrations" and "Slow Down" by fellow Manchester resident Zed Bias - have previously been almost impossible to get hold of. Jensen Interceptor debuts on Mesh with Primal Transmissions, an EP of five new genre mutations out Friday 25th September.

Moving through a spectrum of tempos - from smoked out slow burn to tightly wound club pressure - Jensen has a tweak for every BPM. Returning to a more raw, instinctive sound, but never losing sight of his flair for dense rhythmic compositions, the EP explores a moment of reconnection, and a shedding of inherited expectations.

‘False Oracles’ opens with a euphoric downtempo drift, setting the tone with microscopic rhythmic detailing and chugging percussion. ‘Fail to Call’ leads with a grimey bassline and frantic hammerdrill drums that gradually desync into chopped up fragments. ‘What Would Susan Do’ is a double dose of chaos, landing somewhere between dancehall, psytrance, and DnB, but firmly rooted on a planet of its own. ‘Tone Impress’ leans heavier into the industrial, chopping vocals over rolling hits at 160BPM. Rounding things off, ‘Emerald Web’ breaks the rhythms down to their rawest forms for one final workout.

Die Legenden der elektronischen Musik, Soft Cell, bestehend aus Sänger & Frontmann Marc Almond und Multiinstrumentalist & Produzent Dave Ball, veröffentlichen mit "Danceteria" ihr sechstes und letztes Studioalbum - zugleich ein Liebesbrief an das New York der frühen 80er Jahre, wo Soft Cell ihre ersten drei Alben aufnahmen. "Danceteria" ist ein großartiger, stilvoller und verspielter Abschied von 47 Jahren gemeinsamer Musikgeschichte von Marc & Dave als Soft Cell und präsentiert Darbietungen, die für die Karriere dieser Electro-Pop-Legenden prägend sind. Auch aufgrund von Daves Tod muss "Danceteria" zwangsläufig das letzte Soft Cell-Album sein, wie Marc erklärt: "Ohne Dave kann es keine weiteren Aufnahmen von Soft Cell geben; das wäre schlichtweg unmöglich. Die traurige Realität ist, dass Dave Ball die eine Hälfte von Soft Cell war, und abgesehen von Live-Auftritten kann ich ohne ihn keine Soft-Cell-Songs schreiben."

We’re ecstatic to welcome to play:musik one of the scene’s most diverse producers, Sl8r, who brings with him some of the most eagerly anticipated music around currently. It also happens to be some of his finest work to date! Callisto EP covers different shades of jungle in a fresh, exciting way - from the wonderful loopy riff and shuffling beats of the title track, through a future ’95 hardstepping vibe, to deep synth grime influences, and a crazy jump-up meets edits workout.

The voraciously prolific Brit producer Four Tet returns to his untypeable-but-highly-listenable windings alias for this surprise new album on his own Text label. Remaining as a vinyl-only LP for now, and currently limited to 2000 copies, it was announced just a week or so ahead of the release. No track titles or details and a bucket load of vibes and strange ideas. Opening softly with gentle eastern instrumentation, he gradually pulls us deeper and deeper into his unique universe with every bendy frequency and strange accent. By the time we're three tracks in, we're bopping away to big bodied dubstep/garage mutations laced with chimes and all kinds of textures that only Keiran Hebden would choose to use. The B-side bares a similar varied, opened-hearted soul as we move from bumping club grooves to slo-mo ethereal shuffles that wouldn't sound out of place in a cathedral. Textbook Text. Auch wenn Manhattan in jenen Jahren das faktische Zentrum des Jazz-Universums war, übte Kalifornien eine stärkere Anziehungskraft auf die Kultur im Allgemeinen aus und zog Menschen aus dem ganzen Land in den Bann seiner aufkeimenden Gegenkultur der 1960er Jahre.

Curses' dark, romantic take on electronic music is often linked to EBM, new beat, synth-pop, and the offshoots in between - but, as the artist states, it's feelings, not genres, that motivate his music. Especially the underground and its niche sounds, brimming with collective energy, drive and passion, make for a major impetus. It's no coincidence that he's drawn to the era when man turned to the machine, as a collaborative force, and a new kind of liveliness, timelessness, emerged. In Curses' practice, this synergy translates into an enticing mix of synthesisers and voices, electronic drums and guitars. Nostalgia operates as an influence rather than a motive, though: despite its affinities with the past, his music is stridently contemporary and idiosyncratic. On the "Perfect High" EP, this approach is rendered in a resolutely dancefloor-oriented selection. It's rich in detail and constantly evolving; each time a new element appears, it's treated with such delight and care that you could imagine the track to flit off and turn it into the main theme. This doesn't happen, however, as the sense of cohesion and momentum is paramount: there's a relentless forward drive that keeps engagement tight from start to finish. The detuned, chorus-heavy leads of title track "Perfect High" and the clockwork-tinged percussion of "Weapon Of Time" jell with lustrous hooks. The ominous choirs on "Dare To Dream" and the proto rolling-and-scratching squelches of "Killer Instinct" similarly fall into place. Bravado never stands in the way of flow. Everything is kept in check by gated R-50 rhythms, and in the vocal department, Curses finds the sweet spot between his own voice and a slew of off-kilter samples. On closer "Blasted" NYC royalty Andi joins for a slab of synth-driven groove. It's shiny and sensuous, like patent leather - a perfect distillation of club music channeled through pop aesthetics, and thus a right coda for ALT028.
