17 years after first releasing a cassette EP from label boss Marsel van der Wielen under his Peel Seamus guise, Delsin is soon to hit the landmark category number of 100.
Truth is, taking into account choice re-issues and specials such as the recent house series, there have already been scores more than 100 releases. Nevertheless, in that time the Dutch label has become synonymous with a wide range of timeless sounds from house to techno to dub to electronica, nurturing and championing some of the most respect names in the scene.

To mark the occasion, the label is to release five new various artist EPs (100 copies will be special, limited and coloured vinyl exclusively available through the Delsin web shop with a collector's box) that will be compiled onto one special CD compilation come the final release.

'After many different life cycles, with this compilation I try to go back to the core of Delsin, to showcase more otherworldly/dreamy/soulful but still raw techno sounds from a selection of key artists who best represent the label,' says Marsel. 'The tracks are all individual offerings but are tied together with the common themes of the label, and as a compilation will paint a nice overall picture that is not shy of moving away from the dancefloor side of things.'

Across the five EPs you can expect tracks from newbies and old favourites alike, including Sawlin and Delta Funktionen, John Beltran and Bleak, Redshape and Convextion and plenty more. The first - like all of them - features three tracks, one each from Gerry Read, Unbroken Dub and Claro Intelecto.

HARD TON are the Italian duo with the larger than life disco sound and a surprising love of met- al. Fused together in 2008 from the musical loins of DJ Wawashi and heavy metal singer Max. Sylvester-styled falsettos conjure up memories of smoky dancefloors during the heady days of HI-NRG, which combined with a contemporary sound of accelerated beats and screaming acid basslines, shows a nod to the past can result in a slap across the face for the present. Using analogue and vintage gear, from the 303, 606, 707, Oberheim DMX, Korg Monopoly, MS20, Prophet V5, the music is as organic as synthetic music can be, their equipment living and dying by its own unpredictable rules. Walton returns with a strictly-limited EP to precede the release of his debut album 'Beyond'. This is a vinyl-only, once it's gone it's gone kind of release, just 300 copies available. 'Baby' is a brilliant and extreme mutation based around an R&B accapella, one that seems energised by R&B's avant-garde but danceable late '90s period. A hiccuping giggle over stuttering rusty engine stabs, and a so-stiff-it's-funky kick and and snare combination, make this a track that works brilliantly on the dance floor by sheer force of ideas and wildness. 'Can't You See's' widescreen ambience is held together by epic swelling chords, punctuated with rolling 8-bit spirals, trap-like bass, and snares. It's held together so tightly, it feels like it's going to 'drop' at any time, but prefers to just tease the listener in a state of excited suspense. Also included is an instrumental version of 'Baby'.

New Artist on Fachwerk Records with some deep advanced techno cuts. Limited to 300 copies! Comes including a solid Mike Dehnert Remix who takes a more dubby Berlin techno approach in a way only he can do! Dont sleep.

Vae Victis can't hide their love and passion for raw house and techno. On this 5th release there is another fine selection of hybrids between styles perfectly expressing their love for genre bending music. Durant exsists out of a small collective of producers with main roles for Steve Murphy, Die Roh and Lucretio, alongside Blawan. "The Dove Ultimatum", a 4 tracks ep of punchy analogue electronic music! On the a-side lay General Motors and At Ten, 2 broken beat electro techno tracks a la Drexciya showing the hardest and most experimental side of the project. While on the flip the trio bring things on a housier field, though staying loyal to the a-side vibe by delivering 2 dark and obsessive raw house tracks.

Third Side is the project of The Analogue Cops and Panorama Bar resident Steffi; their collaborations, which have been released exclusively on Restoration, have been of the most interesting jams of the last years.

This time Pattern Repeat gets a little more harder and darker on PR00/6.
The A side is a moody dark track with deep hypnotic almost nightmare kind of groove, with a old school kind of atmosphere.
The B side gets hard straight from the beginning of the track with a pounding almost industrial kick drum, that builds from a minimal groove that really will kill the PA system in the club.
Pattern Repeat has stepped up, and shows the harder and deeper side of the Copenhagen Techno scene.

Fool, the 'tongue in cheek' self-ironic entitled third album, is another tour de force in Kasper Bjørke's signature production style - this time wrapped up as a concept album to be released on Fool's day April 1, 2012 on CD and vinyl. A new label offering from the ever active vaults of Mr. Sascha Müller is the new imprint named Psychocandies which is setting things straight for an Acid-poisoned future with cat.no. 001 which is a marbled, limited to 200 copies 7" pressing holding Sascha Müllers "Tempelrotation (Edit)" and Acidfloors "Goja 3" on the flip. Whilst the first mentioned tune is on a grinding, distorted MonoAcid tip clearly influenced by long gone labels like Labworks or Propulsion 285 we see Acidfloor working on a mind bending fusion of dry ElectroPhonk and a tweeking 303 that is about to make all breakers twist their legs and the rest of the crew jump around like mad. If you love alltime classics like "Higher State Of Consciousness" you'll surely appreciate this little tune as well. Watch out for more candy!
