In der Heimat der Wettbüros wird zurzeit ein Name groß gehandelt: SHAME. Die Band lebt von Konfrontation. Sei es die brodelnde Intensität, die auf ihrem Debüt ,Songs of Praise" knistert, oder das Adrenalin-pumpende Chaos, das sich bei ihren aufregenden von großen Emotionen angetriebenen Shows entfaltet. Bestehend aus dem Sänger Charlie Steen, den Gitarristen Sean Coyle-Smith und Eddie Green, dem Bassisten John Finerty und dem Schlagzeuger Charlie Forbes, begann das in London lebende Quintett bereits im Schuljungenalter. Mit einem gesunden DIY-Ethos als Grundlage und mit The Fall und Wire als musikalische Einflüsse schafften sich SHAME eine Nische in der Musikszene Südlondons und entwickelten furchtlos ihren aufrichtigen, eckigen, peitschenden Post-Punk. Die zehn Songs von ,Songs of Praise" lassen keine Fragen offen. Ob "Gold Hole", ein augenzwinkernder Takedown von Rock-Narzissmus, oder die Single "Concrete", die den überwältigenden Moment der Erkenntnis einer zum Scheitern verurteilten Beziehung beschreibt, oder das frustrierte "Tasteless", das die Monotonie des Alltags beschreibt. ,Songs of Praise" bietet keine Atempause.

Diese besondere Doppel-EP auf Vinyl vereint zwei unterschiedliche, aber miteinander verbundene Kapitel aus Xavier Rudds Werdegang und zeigt einen Künstler, der sich ständig weiterentwickelt.

Seite A – Freedom Sessions (2024)
Freedom Sessions wurde ursprünglich 2024 veröffentlicht und war Xaviers erste EP seit 25 Jahren – eine Hommage an das einfache, aber mächtige Recht auf „Freiheit“. In sechs Titeln, darunter World Order, High Times, Road Trippin’, Free The People und dem strahlenden Schlussstück Moments, lädt Xavier die Zuhörer in einen intimen, reflektierenden Raum ein, der aus einer einzigartigen Zeit der Einsamkeit und des Wachstums entstanden ist.

Seite B – Where to Now (2025)
Im September 2025 erweitert Where to Now diese Selbstreflexion zu einer Suche nach neuen Horizonten. Verwurzelt in Erde und Geist, pulsiert die EP mit Themen wie Resilienz, menschlicher Verbundenheit und dem Aufruf, trotz Unsicherheit voranzuschreiten. Vielschichtige Rhythmen, gefühlvolle Vocals und reichhaltige Instrumentierung führen die Zuhörer durch Fragen nach Sinn und Zugehörigkeit und fangen den Sound eines Songwriters ein, der neues Terrain erkundet und dabei in der natürlichen Welt, die ihn inspiriert, verwurzelt bleibt.

Auf transparentem Vinyl gepresst und mit auffälligem Artwork versehen, ist diese Veröffentlichung mehr als nur ein Sammlerstück – sie ist eine nahtlose Erzählung von Reflexion und Vorwärtsbewegung. Die visuelle Präsentation kombiniert eindrucksvolle Fotografien des renommierten spanischen Fotografen Xavi Martin mit elegantem Grafikdesign von Kylie Strachan von Nomad Create (Australien) und enthält ein wunderschön gedrucktes vollständiges Textblatt, damit Fans in jedes Wort der Musik eintauchen können.

After a long wait, a new release from Sleeve Records is finally here, a repress of an obscure Italian House record from the 90s - A timeless underground Record.

Riotvan opens 2026 pulsating with drama in the form of a sad Valentine and a special collaboration: Hard Ton, joined by New York City icon Amy Douglas. “How am I going to fill the hours now?” It’s an emotion we’ve all known; and one we all dread, the raw burning haunting ache, when left alone with ourselves after loss. Hard Ton and Amy take us on a soul scorching journey through hollowed out earlymorning emotions, set to a raw, early-2000s house energy—somewhere between Berlin and New York, without drifting into nostalgia. Adding a layer of raw intimacy is a stripped-back piano interpretation shaped by Hard Ton together with maestro Matteo Baroni, whose freestyle takes became the emotional backbone of this version. From there, the release branches out: Massimiliano Pagliara stretches the original into a deep, slow-burning piece of late-night elegance, while Sylvio B flips the energy entirely, firing it back onto the floor with bold grooves and big-room confidence.

Here it is, finally.. something new, or is it new? A new classic jungle EP consisting of analog synthesizer, sine-wave bass, and direct-from-vinyl drums sampled on a hardware Akai sampler for a classic-style Jungle EP. The first in a series of (?) Two ultra-rare Peruvian gems that reimagine the international hits 'Do You Think I'm Sexy?' and 'Saturday Night Fever' through the lens of hypnotic Andean rhythms, full of vibrant winds and pounding percussion. Disco music, reworked with huayno and Andean cumbia flair! Once again, Peru manages to surprise us. From the heights of the Andes come two incredible recordings that show how local folklore has embraced international hits-resulting in fun, unexpected fusions with a distinct Andean twist. 'Do You Think I'm Sexy?', Rod Stewart's 1978 classic, is transformed into a powerful huayno anthem-complete with driving percussion and bold brass that almost echo the sound of a New Orleans street parade. Raw, energetic, and unmistakably Andean. On the flip side, we find a playful nod to 'Saturday Night Fever'-retitled 'El Travoltoso'-infused with infectious rhythms of huayno and cumbia. Once again, wind instruments take center stage in this track, just like in the flip-side cut. Both songs come from some of the rarest and most sought-after records among collectors of Peruvian music. Reissued for the first time ever.

This versatile three track EP made up of 2 previously unheard and unreleased lost DAT productions, paired with a monstrous modern creation, from a man known for his uniquely trippy and boundary pushing take on the genre, presents the listener with a smorgasbord of peak time Tech House, hypnotic Techno and emotive Acid House.

The A side Mountain Storm is nothing short of an epic, instantly recognizable future classic! Punchy, percussion laden drums set the tone upfront, before a titanic, rumbling bassline blows the doors clean off! Disorienting vocals drift in and out before an eerily familiar string arrives by special delivery directly from the State of 808, building the tension required to set the stage for the main event: a haunting, poignant and highly relevant monologue for the times we find ourselves in today, delivered by a renowned, yet uncredited Jamaican poet.

B1 Get On Down takes the listener to the middle of the dancefloor, mid-set at a Techno-leaning after hours. Think Christian AB in a mischievous mood…

Obscure, industrial, fizzing drums start the show, followed by a stomping yet playful bass line, hip hop vocals urging you to get busy on the floor swirl around you, before a piercing arpeggio sends the listener to the cosmos, as the track peaks.

B2 Deep Sea couldn’t have a more appropriate name if it tried. A chugging, melancholy, submarine journey to the bottom of the Atlantic, presented at a lower BPM, making it equally perfect for the very beginning or very end of a set.

The Brooklyn-based record store proves their record label is no one hit wonder with this outstanding release from the Crayon Records head honcho. Unmissable.
