Each track pulses along to its own singular logic, with Daisy’s distinctive voice and vocal manipulations playfully drizzled throughout, marking an elegant collision of her sonic worlds.

Spirit Princess is a breakneck peak-time explosion – club-ready and bouncy with a pulsing bassline fit to burst from the subs of any system underpinning waves of textured ambience, nagging synths and granular gusts of found sound.

Fuelled with late night techno energy, Grain Pip offers a heads down counterpoint to the title track, while the B side serves up different energies again. Perhaps the most playful track on the record – The Stuff – demonstrates Daisy’s cheekier side as a producer and person, as inspired by a summer of fun with friends on festival dancefloors: a house banger stuffed with melodic stabs, pitched vocals and swung hats, made for the joys and follies of the 3am dancefloor. Drop Cycle rounds things off with a trippy, rolling excursion of delays and warped synths.

Following the success of Under Tangled Silence last year which peaked at number one in the Dance Albums charts and peaked at 9 on the Albums Chart staying in for 21 weeks, DjRUM returns to Houndstooth with a 15 minute continuous EP pressed to side A and a custom etched picture disk on Side B.

Felix (DjRUM) was a child prodigy as an instrumentalist and his advanced musicality has always been prominent in his music, but here he has put himself front and centre as a composer. And this sense of exposure as a performer interweaves with an unflinching emotional openness too. Where sometimes electronic production as advanced as this can use intellect and techniques as shields from soul-baring, this is the sound of someone who can boldly say “I feel things, I cry all the time, and I'm not afraid to say it or show it in the music.” But this doesn’t mean there’s a move away from the soundsystems and dancefloors where Felix made his name as a uniquely innovative vinyl DJ, this EP encapsulates his musical upbringing weaving in percussive elements across the stereo field to create a truly mesmerising listening experience.

On "Chauffeur," The Womack Sisters reflect on the trials and tribulations they each faced while trying to make rent as car service drivers. A HARD-HITTING groove, and impassioned background vocals drive the song as the sisters plea "How many miles do I have to burn... Just to keep my place?"

There are no flowery metaphors here. This song is about the real struggles people face to survive everyday, in this case grappling with the futility of trying to stack meager fares into rent money.

Von 1964 bis 1980 zauberte Lenny ,King Creole" LaCour auf verschiedenen geheimnisvollen Labels eine knallharte Mischung aus R&B, Keller-Beehive, Hard Funk, Gruppenharmonien und Proto-Disco aus dem Hut. International DJ and collector Elado is well known to edit lovers for his work on the likes of Funkyjaws Music, Razor N Tape and Eddie C's Red Motorbike. He has been digging in his vaults again, this time for Scruniversal, and turns out a pair of blazing Brazilian edits. First up is 'Sabor' ,which is a tight, funky sound that sways low with lush claps and wandering basslines, but the vocal harmonies are what make it, and your heart, soar. 'Debbie' then follows off with some soft, honours Portuguese soul vocals and instrumental disco-funk grooves that are super sophisticated and perfect to go with a cocktail at sundown somewhere nice.

Inxxxwel returns to GAMM, but now as MF Inxxxwel and with a tribute 7inch to the mighty MF Doom.

Over two tracks Inxxxwel serves up two funk-laced Hip Hop jams that offer a perfect platform for Doom's vocal chords to flow freely.

On 'Dumile's Funk' the overall feel is a dance-friendly headnod Hip Hop jam with a killer bassline.

On the B side we find 'The House Of Doom' where Doom's voice is pasted over a classic 90's New Jersey deep house track (but pitched down), deep and soulful but still with that irresistible feel.

With background in Afrobeat, Dub, Funk, Soul, Roots Reggae, and Electronic Music, they treat the studio to be their playground. Their music is a hybrid groove that speaks to the body: round or bouncing basslines, brass oscillating between melodic warmth and funk energy, textured guitars, arpeggios, enveloping Rhodes, clavinet that slides, presses, and embraces. With Ayô Dele , Ireke is embarking on a new chapter: the duo is refining its style,allowing the voices to breathe. The groove remains the driving force but opens up to intimacy. This intimacy is carried by two unique female voices: Nayel Hoxo, a Beninese-Nigerian singer/rapper, and Agnès Hélène, who has already made a name for herself on Tropikadelic with "Petit a Petit". They don't sing side-by-side; they coexist, respond to each other, and sometimes intersect. But each follows her own path: Nayel, with the power of her words in Yoruba, offers songs of elevation, healing, and resistance — a light born in the cracks Agnès explores these cracks themselves: what wavers within us, what reinvents itself in bonds, glances, and gestures.

Including the hit songs, "Talking To My Scale," "I Do This," & "Mister Glock 2," as well as deep cuts like "Broccoli & Cheese," this album is a must have for Southern rap fans and encapsulates a time when PRE was at the height of their game, shortly before Young Dolph's untimely passing. 2xLP pressed on Red Snake Eyes Galaxy vinyl, and housed in a gatefold jacket. Texas-raised, NYC-based Ben Hixon continues to be one of deep house's most essential new voices. His dusty, lo-fi take on the genre feels instinctive and raw but always carries serious emotion under the surface. After a fine outing announced already on NDTAL this month, he's back on his own Dolfin with another crucial three tracker. 'Purpouse (Jubilee)' is a swinging sound with classic Midwestern vibes, 'Look At Me' spins out into high-paced juke and footwork drum patterns with eerie pads and 'Read Between The Lines' is a low-lit, low-key basement house groove with conscious mutterings adding serious depth. Another doozy from Hixon.

Ben Hixon heads up the Dolfin label, but it operates more as a collective of musicians with him at the centre orchestrating sessions, mixing, mastering and producing both solo and in collaboration with pals. For this one he has again linked with Rami for an immersive EP that traverses various tempos and rhythms. There's whimsical downtempo on 'Break Up', sparse soundscaping on 'Collect' and hurried deep house on 'After Dark' that burns with real late night intensity. 'Pleasure' gets more playful and extroverted in its rugged swing and 'Saturday' is a laidback soother. Another timeless EP.

Black Dot duo returns to Kri Records with six tracks ranging from EBM club domination to electro after-hours relaxation. Duo's signature futuristic melancholia on Lust EP is laced with melodic synth lines, a haunting Slavic vocal, and spiced with club-ready remixes by Innershades and Charlie.

Both CDG Rouge tracks feature duo's trademark mesmerizing electro mood that works both, on the dancefloor and the Autobahn. The darkly playful atmosphere and lyrics might evoke a memory of early Miss Kittin and The Hacker collaborations. The Innershades remix sees the Belgian producer at his top New Beat game, while Charlie reworked the sleazy No Harm Lust into a leather ripper. AI Climax is a self-explanatory EBM club stomper, while What Will It Be Boy rounds the release with a cheeky nod to the 80s.

Christian Kroupa & Le Chocolat Noir (Black Dot) return to Kri 3 years after their debut, picking up the thread where it all began. Since their first release, and outings on Mechatronica and Italo Moderni in between, the duo continues to refine their stripped, nocturnal electro sound— sharp, eclectic, and built for late hours.
