Limited 7" Edition

A previously unissued post-bop document from 1970, Jyväskylä Workshop Band 1970 assembles American saxophonist Charlie Mariano, Norwegian bassist Arild Andersen and Finnish luminaries Heikki Sarmanto, Eero Koivistoinen, Paroni Paakkunainen, Seppo Ranniko, Pekka Pöyry, Edward Vesala and Matti Koskiala. Professionally captured in concert, the album delivers a vibrant set of groovy, exploratory and subtly exotic tunes that helped assert Finland’s place on the international jazz map.

For the third release on Patent, Gockel invited some friends into the studio: HXTC, Marco Wachs, Plug Trax and Dying & Barakat.

Kerouac presents a captivating five-track vinyl-only EP on Murmurations, showcasing groove-rich basslines, intricate percussion and deep rhythmic textures into a dancefloor-ready package. Orcas Island began as a spontaneous moment, a sudden burst of post-punk electronic inspiration driven by a desire for freedom in music: to move beyond genre, to create and manipulate sound, to experiment, and to embrace the unconventional.

Dumitrescu, co-founder of the label, breaks his own boundaries with a 4-track EP exploring hypnotic structures and stripped-back techno aesthetics.

After a few years of silence, Underplay (Playedby sub-label) is back with its fourth release, welcoming Elia Nafzger and his Music Makes Me High EP.

A rising talent with a strong identity as both DJ and producer, Elia’s music has been regularly played by key figures such as Rhadoo and Praslea. Also part of the Sunrise Agency roster, he has already appeared at Sunwaves, Guesthouse and Supermarket Zurich.

Tancido's ninth collection includes four tight, easygoing belters that individually accentuate the colorful touch of a diverse and alluring lineup.

Krewcial returns with more MJ from the vaults. Mixed from the original multi-tracks, always with love and respect for the original material.

The A side kicks off with The Jacksons 'Everybody' but feels and sounds like a solo Michael joint and references his “Get On The Floor” in the lyrics. The extended version gives plenty of room to all instruments to build up and join before MJ comes in.

On the flip we have the seminal 'Can’t Help It', written by Stevie Wonder and sampled by DeLaSoul combines the instrumentation and energetic drums from the demo version with the lead vocal from the album version. Adding a lush string arrangement which takes this version into TSOP territory and adds the disco vibe that works on today’s dancefloors.
