Produced by El Michels Affair & Tommy Brenneck (Charles Bradley, Menahan Street Band). Taken from forthcoming debut album due out in Summer 2024. Thee Heart Tones treat us to another must have 7" while the finishing touches are being put on their debut album. A bunch of talented kids from Hawthorne, California that came right out of high school and wound up in the studio with two legendary producers (El Michels Affair & Tommy Brenneck) cutting their first album in 5 days. Here on this 45 are two more of songs drenched in the magic that was captured. Side A "No Longer Mine" is gritty and driving mid tempo banger that lead singer Jazmine Alvarado's honeyed voice smooths out. A declaration of young love gone wrong, Jazmine states the facts and lays down the law like a boss with a chorus that will live in your head rent free. Side B "Cry My Tears Away" is a heavy duty B Side Ballad that can hold court with the best of them. This is sure to find a place in the hearts of all the slowie enthusiasts and soundtrack many a slow dance, joy ride, and late night.

one of Norways leading guitarists, and is known as an important driving force in the spread of blues music in his home country. Busk traveled to the United States early on to play in the band of the American blues artist Rock Bottom, and later returned home to start building his own solo career. "Venus Texas", his fourth album showed a shift in style. While the previous albums were characterized by driving and swing-based blues rock, "Venus Texas" is more soulful in expression. The album got rewarded with great reviews and also a Norwegian Grammy award. Now on vinyl for the first time.

Formed in London in 1977 by Mark Perry and Alex Fergusson, then editors of the punk fanzine Sniffin' Glue, Alternative TV was a post-punk group known for incorporating reggae rhythms and pushing the boundaries of the definition of punk toward the experimental and avant-garde. Their first album, The Image Has Cracked, came out originally in 1978 and is a wholly unique piece of British post-punk. Beloved by John Peel, and close confidantes of Throbbing Gristle, Alternative TV is one of the most original and beguiling groups of the era.

Jay Worthy and Harry Fraud are back at it, bringing Kamaiyah with them this time around on The Am3rican Dream, now available on vinyl. The rappers trading bars alongside Worthy & Kamaiyah over the course of the project include Ty Dolla $ign, Max B, Buddy, DRAM, Guapdad 4000, Leven Kali and Big Body.

The last ten years have seen no shortage of bands with their delay pedals set to stun intent on capturing an aura of dreamlike radiance. Yet Texas 'pop-noir' troupe Cigarettes After Sex are no ordinary shoegazers, for a variety of reasons - frontman Greg Gonzalez' androgynous and dulcet tones may be part of the appeal, yet moreover it's the quality of the songwriting here, which never falls prey to the style-over-substance traps of their peers. Indeed, this debut is more than enough to justify the considerable hype around this outfit, being a collection of ditties as sultry as they are atmopsheric.

Sometimes you have to move backwards to move forwards. Just ask punk cultural commentators BODEGA, whose new album sees them carve a new future from fuzz-soaked, consumerism-skewering shards of their past. "Our Brand Could Be YR Life" is BODEGA's first album release through Chrysalis Records. "It's something we've been wanting to do for years," guitarist and vocalist Ben Hozie explains of Our Brand Could Be YR Life - a collection of catchy indie-rock ruminations on the slow-creep of corporate-think into youth culture, first written eight years ago. The 15 tracks on "Our Brand Could Be YR Life" explore indie-rock subgenres, self-critique and everything in between. "I think it's our best- sounding record to date," says Hozie, "It's got dance-punk. There's some shoegaze on there. There's slacker rock on there. There's psychedelic rock on there. R.E.M, too. We wanted to be another band in a long stream of missionaries, proselytising a certain type of rock subculture."

"'Hey Babe' sounds like classic Trummors – their voices a perfect match for one another, Dan Horne’s lingering pedal steel adorning the piece like chapparal, just an ambling walk through life together." - Petal Motel "Is there a scientific formula for creating the perfect country rock record? If there is, the Taos, NM duo of Anne Cunningham and David Lerner — AKA Trummors — have cracked it." - Aquarium Drunkard "Trummors capture a classic country sound — flirting with the heavy-hearted, but formative voices that lent credence to the ‘70s crossover out of psychedelic troupes." - Raven Sings The Blues Trummors are excited to announce their new album 5 out April 12 on Ernest Jenning Record Co.

Thought is the essence of where you are now.

Composed in an era where people weren't concerned with music labels but just wanted to hear fresh new sounds and go out to clubs religiously, “Digital Imagination - The Essence of Thought” is a sci-fi inspired mixture of House, full- speed Trance and Trip Hop coming from a young Ted Heinz falling in love with electronic music in the thriving early 90s Boston rave scene. Originally release by Concept Records in 1993 and with original copies now hard to get ahold of, Sunny Crypt is happy to give this record a full reissue treatment with audio restored from the original DAT tape and a new graphic design.

While he was on tour through Europe in the summer of 2023, Julian Medor (the one and only man behind Long Hours) stopped by Frank Headon's Fly House Records and quickly recorded this new album. Long hours has been coined as being lofi, nowave, synth punk croon-core, gothdoowop with a relentless live show inspired by frontmen such as David Yow (The Jesus Lizard) JG Thirlwell (Foetus) Alan Vega (Suicide). Long Hours has performed up & down the east coast of Australia countless times and has toured Japan twice. He has also released 27 albums in the space of 3 years. "Fly House" is his 2nd LP available on Beast Records.

"A beautiful, emotionally complex album." The Quietus.

Roeser abgeschlossen. Während BLUE ÖYSTER CULT ihren Status als "Classic Rock"-Phänomen festigt, erreicht die Vorfreude auf dieses Album ein Crescendo. Eine bemerkenswerte Reise in die Rockgeschichte.

"When I moved to Minnesota from Pittsburgh in 1994 all I brought with me was a big duffle bag and an acoustic guitar. I was 19. In that bag was a Radio Shack cassette recorder. I spent that time writing and filling up a tape with new songs. A few years later I earned enough money from my restaurant jobs to buy an old reel-to-reel 4-track recorder and some other instruments which allowed me to slightly expand my production ideas. More songs kept flowing and I made my self-titled album adding drums and bass. Over the next few years, as things grew, those sparse cassette songs fell on the back burner until 2002 when I decided to re-record a bunch of them at a higher quality. To keep with their original vision, I asked engineer Tom Garneau if he could record me playing them live in his living room. We left the production minimal and rough which I think serves these particular songs well. No overdubs. Just solo acoustic guitar and vocals. I called the album Simple Life. It was originally just a limited release. Until now. I hope you enjoy it."

Thomas Walsh is the founder and frontperson in critically endorsed Irish cult-pop band Pugwash. His classic pop songwriting has garnered him an impressive collection of celebrity recognition from artists like Brian Wilson, Jeff Lynne and Joe Elliot. Guest contributions on the album comes from Dave Gregory (XTC, Dukes Of Stratosphere), Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Michael Penn, Neil Hannon (The Divine Comedy), Matt Berry (What We Do In The Shadows). ANDY PARTRIDGE - "Pugwash (Thomas Walsh), at their best, are almost Beatle-like in their greatness. They are THAT good”

Collecting 8 number one A-sides and 5 B-sides, this classic set compiles Elvis' 1956-1957 hits into one place. Night Prayer is the 2018 studio album by Belgian Flemish artist Jasper Steverlinck, who is also known as the guitarist of rock band Arid. After releasing his debut solo album Songs Of Innocence in 2004, Steverlinck got where he needed to be with Night Prayer. At the essence. No sumptuously packed arrangements. No technological gadgets or needless fuss. Not a single fashionable beat left or right. On Night Prayer, it’s all about songwriting in its purest form. No poetic metaphors, but straightforward lyrics and unapologetic emotions.

Together with producer Jean Blaute he recorded 14 stripped down songs, which he all sang in one take.

Night Prayer is available as a limited edition of 500 numbered copies on gold coloured vinyl and includes an insert with lyrics

The duo's third album of instrumental guitar recordings pushes their sinuous compositions into labyrinthine new shapes, interlocking and interlocutory, supported by a cast of stellar collaborators. Interwoven among the dazzling original pieces is a fascinating array of covers, ranging from traditional Breton dance tunes to a deconstruction of Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance." Their melody-first sensibilities are perfectly suited to each other _ playfully complex guitar work that sounds as if it was tossed off in an afternoon of whiskey and laughs. - NPR An intoxicating, intricate web _ Wherever Salsburg and Elkington go, it's always a pleasure. - Aquarium Drunkard Sounds like winter has always been approaching, like Indian summer never quite fades, like fall isn't built around loss. - Stereogum

First time on vinyl

His most recent release, in his own words: "let's say it sounds as if 'bubbles' and
'life playing tricks' had a baby".

Another step in setting his own musical imprint, after that he will be quoted as an influence
by a new generation of aspiring producers.

Raphael Schön might still be best known for his Fiesta 2000 hit, but that ought to be changed with Heart Times. Hailing from Augsburg in Germany, RS represents a young generation of producers that draw their own deductions from golden days (insert your favorite era here) of dance music. Respectful and without handling it with kid gloves, he manages to inject fun, freshness and a fertile imagination into these sometimes dusty topics.

Conceived during a very emotional turbulent time for Schön, it is a showcase of his whole spectrum as a producer. Imagine a singer-songwriter coming back from his first rave. So, on this six-track EP for Running Back, his sound ranges from classic house (Baerhit) to crooner prog (Sometimes I Miss You), with mellow trance (Distant City Tranceport) and jiggy hits (Do You Like That) in-between. A dance hall unifying and colorful bouquet of flowers that does not shy away from vocals, emotional undertones and most of all bass and hook lines to die for. Schön means beautiful in German and that’s what this mean record is. Do you like it like that?

With base notes of Texas country, full bodied Americana and flutters of rim-shot percussion, Elliott BROOD infuse their own experiences into the 1970s hit. Transformed into a true country ripper, “Bluebird Wine” chirps and hops along with a peppy verve. True to form, Elliott BROOD layer on their signature stomp and clap sound and their unique blend of vocal tones, creating an elixir of lifestyle, a feeling to imbibe that brings joy and fullness.

Author, charity boss, furniture repairer, tv star, there's not much that Jay Blades hasn't covered. Now to add to his CV, this fine hand-picked compilation of unreleased Peckings recordings.

Along the west coast of Co Kerry in Ireland you will find the amazing Valentia Island.

Attached by a bridge to the mainland, it is a place of beauty touched by years of history and the songs of the sea.

I managed to obtain a house there for a few weeks, I took my computer and mic with me not knowing what to expect when I got there. In one of the rooms sat a piano, and as my fingers touched the keys I knew there was a story there waiting to be told.

The sound of the piano in that place was something very magical as 100mph winds battered the house and interrupted my recordings.
Other material has since emerged from those days spent on the island, but the main body of work that I recorded there makes up this album that I now present to you.

The Words Don’t Fit The Picture is Willie Nelson’s fourteenth studio album, and one of his last at RCA Records. Berglüster is an emotional high-concept EP with 4 tracks that work well together or individually.

The artist from Aachen, owner of whispering signals, transports us into his sonic realm and offers us probably his most mature and honest work to date.

Berglüster is not typical club music, we actually found ourselves facing contemplative lab techno.
The hazy atmospheres, the lowpassed kickdrums and the cinematic pads reminds of the golden years of intelligent dub techno but with a more sophisticated and modern approach.
Those who love the music of Deepchord, GAS or Porter Ricks will find here a delight to be added to their collection.

As usual, this is an only vinyl release. 200 copies pressed.
