The Spacebunny tracks were originally released on Surreal Recordings back in 1996, the original mix being licensed to Danny Tenaglia's Twisted Secrets (vol2), since then it has become a party classic with original copies changing hands for over £100 on discogs.

The Mingers "Fancy A Shag" track was released in 2002 on Deeper London (a subsidiary of Surreal Recordings) with a limited press of only 200 copies. The track is floor filler and was often one that would kick things off in the early stages of the night, featuring big tribally beats, a fat funky bass and emotive strings.

Endell Street returns with a strictly limited 10" that features some rare gems that were originally produced back in the early naughties by Timmy S. Plenty of heads will know these have been expensive to cop on the second-hand market but now they have been restored and remastered by Yossi Amoyal in collaboration with Eukahouse's Nils Hess. Deep tech house doesn't get more authentic than this with the slick, driving drums and nocturnal pads of 'Wake Up' and the more percussive darkness of 'A Trip To London' both sounding superb.

Super Furry Animals waren eine der ersten Post-Alternative-Bands, die eine Reihe unterschiedlicher Musikgenres - darunter Power Pop, Punkrock, Techno und Progressive Rock - zu einem schillernden, melodischen und bewusst kunstvollen Rock & Roll verschmolzen.
Das von der Band selbst produzierte Album "Phantom Power", das 2023 sein 20-jähriges Bestehen feiert, ist zurückhaltender als die früheren Werke der Band. Das Album ist größtenteils von Pedal Steel, akustischen Gitarren und Gesangsharmonien durchzogen. Doch wer glaubt, dass die kreativen Kräfte erloschen sind, könnte sich kaum mehr irren. Gruff Rhys' Songwriting macht auf "Phantom Power" einen Schritt nach vorne, mit verspielten, auf Geschichten basierenden Texten über Schildkröten, Mingers, Ninjas und Kohlköpfe, die mit Zeilen über Tod, Strahlung und Krieg kontrastieren.

Diese Deluxe-Wiederveröffentlichung auf schwarzem, 180g 2LP-Vinyl mit Original-Artwork und gestanzter Hülle wurde sorgfältig von den Mixdown-Bändern neu gemastert und enthält Anmerkungen von Kurt Stern, dem ausführenden Produzenten des Albums. Wenn Sie noch
