Side A has an instrumental cut of the sublime rhythm used for Ewan Naptali's classic "Africa Awaiting Its Creator", the flip side has another instru titled "Sons of the Most High", which we think was voiced by Dan Hutson but never released.

After the hit making debut EP from Harri Pierson sold out in under a week, he returns with the modestly titled 'The Most Balearic Record In The World'.

The international jet-set raconteur lands on the mythical White Isle with such bravado he must have the "Grandi Palle !!" and it is testifiable that Harri is not without merit.

Keith Murray first came up in the world of Hip Hop as a part of the group Def Squad. Other Squad members were Redman and Erick Sermon (from EPMD). Murray’s debut tore right up to the number 34 slot on Billboard’s Top 200 and a Top 10 position on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. Anita's most enduring collaborator, drummer John Poole also performs on the date, which is one of the singer's very best. O'Day, herself, considered it among her finest recordings. Jahrestag des Debütalbums von Six Finger Satellite, The Pigeon Is the Most Popular Bird, mit einer brandneuen, vollständig remasterten CD und einer Doppel-LP-Neuauflage. Die 1990 in Providence, Rhode Island, von J. Ryan (Sänger/Keyboard), John MacLean (Gitarre), Peter Phillips (Gitarre), Chris Dixon (Bass) und Rick Pelletier (Schlagzeug) gebildeten Six Finger Satellite wurden für die Weapon EP schnell von Sub Pop unter Vertrag genommen. Nach Weapon machte sich die Band daran, ihr Debütalbum mit Bob Weston (von Shellac, die später eine Single The Bird Is the Most Popular Finger zu Ehren von Six Finger Satellite benannten) zu produzieren. Das 1993 veröffentlichte The Pigeon Is the Most Popular Bird war die erste Veröffentlichung, die den abenteuerlichen, bissigen Geist und Sound von Six Finger Satellite wirklich einfing. Billy Preston’s mastery of the organ was such that he was commissioned for collaboration by The Beatles, The Stones and countless others, his classic Hammond work a defining element of ‘Get Back.’ Released in 1964 when Preston was still 19, The Most Exciting Organ Ever mixes swinging originals such as ‘Low Down,’ ‘Soul Meetin,’ ‘The Octopus’ and ‘Billy’s Bag’ with expressively soulful covers of standards such as ‘If I Had A Hammer’ and ‘Don’t Let The Sun Catch You Crying,’ ably showcasing Preston’s awesome dexterity and unmatched ability on his chosen instrument.
