Die Berliner Band veröffentlicht am 25.07.2025 ihr nunmehr drittes und stärkstes Album "Dawn Of A Malefic Dominion" . Euch erwarten 43 Minuten knallharter Death Metal amerikanischer Prägung. Morbid Angel, Deicide und co. würden sicher einiges dafür geben, solch einen energetischen Brecher auf die Rille zu zaubern. Ein musikalisches Schlachtfest, welches euch die Gehörgänge versilbert und ordentlich das Blut auf Siedepunkt hochkocht. "Dawn of a Malefic Dominion" wurde von Tobias Engl, Ulf Binder und den Magic Sixteen in den Englsound Abyss und Studio B19 aufgenommen und produziert. For our ninth chapter, X/Y/Secret hands the controls to Sira. Surfacing is a study in tension: grooves tight enough to steer a packed floor, yet spacious enough for long blends or sudden cuts. Each element arrives with purpose, opening pockets of air to breathe just before the pressure rises again. Both sides speak the same language while delivering different messages. Phil Berg distills the title track into a focus-sharpening remix, before Sira closes with a late-hour mover built to steady the room while the lights stay low.

Token presents the 6th chapter of the Fuga series. Challenging new faces to complete the label's sound, Fuga VI is another focused compilation that balances spatial detail and rhythmic bite.

Skipping any introduction to dive straight into the essence of the compilation, Skjöld portrays 'Forbidden City' as a tense aquatic exploration. With pressure in the low end, he keeps the record alive by conjuring obscure pads to give dimension and intrigue to an already nervous track. This persistence is quickly met with weight; Tapefeed's 'Residual Memory' follows up to tap into the label's more aggressive side. Riddled with mechanical sound design bordering on the industrial, the Tapefeed duo creates dancefloor dominating energy that sets them apart with an all-out approach. The density of this second track feeds smoothly into Stephen Disario's 'Out Of Tune' - a drum-forward record with dispersed texture. The LA based producer puts his hi hats brutally forward to cut through the space, finding a remarkable balance between its two sides and exploiting its confrontation. Returning to the label's recognizable resonance, Merino steps in with 'Memoria' - a manic 5 minute synth loop with minimal percussion. Dealing in restraint and dissonance, Merino naturally finds a home in Fuga VI with this track before heading back into the peak time paranoia of JSPRV35 in 'Question'. Pushing up the intensity and flicking through vintage percussion lines, 'Question' is an extraverted homage to the origins of techno that embodies flair. The track drives through the middle of Fuga with ease, bouncing rhythm off a sharp bassline with thundering claps and snares. 'Catch 22' by Terminus restores balance with minimalism but pace. A hypnotic break in the second half is sure to mesmerize dancers and home listeners alike. Stuttering hats shake throughout 'Catch 22' to push the track along, keeping the harmony low and maintaining focus on the movement. With a similar tempo, Sanna Mun follows up with 'Binary Systems'. A speedrun through an acid-like bassline, the track's rhythm is obsessive and persistent as we reach the conclusion of the compilation. Fuga VI comes full circle with a ghostly track by Mode_1 called 'Lifespan', stretching time and tunneling through with booming toms and shuffled hats. Keeping the pressure high and maintaining that never ending energy is the only way to wrap up such a high energy release and Mode_1 does just that.

Rigby On The Run drops Rug Rally on Vienna's Studio Bahöö, blending UKG grooves, grainy breakbeat, and off-grid soundsystem experimentation. Built on instinct and late-night energy, the tracks lurch, glide, and hum with low-end pressure and emotional weight. No face, no origin story-just raw motion and mood.

Emerging from the Kansai underground with a sense of ritual and restraint, G Version III returns with a slab of meditative pressure, carved for sound systems. Following last year’s cassette release on Digital Sting, the Kyoto-based producer deepens his exploration of experimental steppers and sacred low-end science.

TRK 1 treads heavy—medium-tempo four-to-the-floor steppers, soaked in 80s/90s UK dub DNA and wired with flickers of celestial synth energy, edged with something unknown.

TRK 2 drifts off-grid—a 100bpm oddity conjuring sacred synth rituals and off-beat spatial tension. Droning and eerily weightless, it hangs like a vapor of frozen scent in an echo chamber.

Flip the plate and TRK 3 and 4 ignite—raw, unrelenting steppers built to test the physical limits of the rig. No compromise, no decoration—just ritual voltage for the floor.

After a massive 2024 that included the release of their second album Vol. 2 and a U.S. tour, Naarm/Melbourne punks Split System are back with new 7" On the Edge/On the Loose.The feeling of stress and anxiety permeates through both tracks. The opener is the sleazy, hardcore-infused On the Edge, featuring a pounding rhythm that mirrors the pressure of day-to-day life and the inevitable breakdown that awaits.Next, the sub-two-minute On the Loose delivers a catchy, high-energy garage-punk thumper about moving through life feeling like you've got a gun to your head. Modeight steps into 2025 with a thrilling entry from Vedana, the Leeds-born, New Zealand-based artist making waves in the underground scene. With a career shaped by years behind the decks and a newfound passion for production, Vedana distills his rich clubbing heritage into four cutting-edge tracks on Epiphany EP. The journey begins on A1 with "Epiphany". This groove-heavy minimal house piece is powered by rolling basslines and jagged modular sequences that ignite the dancefloor. Perfectly tuned for pre-parties and equally ready to take over peak-time sets, it's a versatile cut that balances tension and release in all the right places. Next up is A2's "Flawless Victory". As the name suggests, this track hits with triumphant energy. A massive beat locks in with deep, dynamic basslines, building a sense of pressure that commands attention. Add in trippy atmospheres and enveloping textures, and you've got a dancefloor weapon primed to elevate the vibe. Flipping to the B-side, "Onomatopoeia" lives up to its playful title. Short, synthetic stabs cut sharply across the soundstage, synchronized with a hypnotic groove that feels both meticulous and spontaneous. It's a standout piece, rich in personality and brimming with rhythmically charged creativity. Closing the record is B2's "Present in the Culture". An absolute heavyweight of a track, it delivers a mix of atmospheric swells and plucky, tactile sounds that pull listeners deep into a trippy sonic journey. With its driving force and immersive vibe, it's a fitting finale to a stellar EP.

Originally released on Shoebox in 1993, this wonderfully pink piece of vibrant vinyl comes with two hardcore/proto-jungle bangers made by SDR & Subsonic who also own Shoebox. They are also the artists behind the Digital Pressure release on A Guy Called Gerald’s label Juicebox (keep it locked to Vinyl Fanatiks in 2024 for this one).

This release has been sought after for a good number of years with the usual high-ticket price on Discogs. But now the opportunity is here to grab a copy at a fraction of the price with some saying it is also a better sounding release compared to the original pressing.

Emerging from the fertile chaos of Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs scene, Sequence of Events, the collaborative project of Deniz Saridas and Joshua Gottmanns, presents The Art of Memory, an album that feels both intimate and ungraspable, like recalling a dream that fades upon waking.

Rooted in the post-industrial landscapes of West Germany, The Art of Memory channels the bleak resilience of these environments into its sound. It’s a collage of kraut-infused electronics, shoegaze textures, and industrial pulses, filtered through a lens of introspective psychedelia. “We don’t consciously break down or combine genres,” they explain. “Everything is interwoven, like chemistry. Some reactions happen immediately, others take years under pressure.”

From the opening track TAR, with its stoic vocals and drum-heavy propulsion, to the robotic Meagre Gardens, where autotuned chants coil around unconventional drum programming, the album moves like a fever dream through fragmented memories. Soul Divider unfolds like a cinematic journey through yearning and desire, its repetitive pulses echoing the ache of unfulfilled longing, while Nature Hates Life distills pop music through the eyes of a killjoy: “Kurt Cobain on an AKAI MPC2000,” as the band describes it. Even moments of tenderness, like the drifting Becomings, shimmer with absolute sensuality: a seductive exploration of presence defined by absence. We lift each other up and hold each other down.

The creative process behind The Art of Memory is as fluid as the music itself. Saridas and Gottmanns, both self-taught musicians with backgrounds in fine art, worked intuitively, drawing from a shared pool of samples, text fragments, and images. Operating somewhere in the space between fin de siècle aesthetics and occultism, it’s a dream wedding with a continuous stream of meaningless (moving) images generated by human and non-human entities.

Ultimately, The Art of Memory is not an escape but an immersion. A meditation on the sensory overload of the present and the ghosts it leaves in its wake. In a world where music is often reduced to background noise for consumption, Sequence of Events offers something more elusive: a record that lingers, unsettles, and demands to be remembered.

With Wait A Minute EP, Italian trio Joyfull Family (Chico Perulli, Guido Nemola and Cristian Carpentieri) lay down a proper slice of timeless house, laced with modern flair and proper dancefloor heat.

The Original Mix of "Wait A Minute" is pure deep-house goodness – lush grooves, fat basslines and silky vocal cuts stitched together into a classy, late-night roller. A real warm-up weapon for heads who know.

G&D’s Remix (Gino Grasso and Dino Angioletti flexing their chops) roughs it up with a raw, funk-fuelled twist – dusty drums, elastic bass and chopped-up vox that slap just right. Proper vintage vibes without sounding played out.

Relative’s Peaktime Mix takes the tune up a gear: chunkier kicks, clever delay work and pressure-cooker build-ups that scream peaktime weapon, all while keeping the original’s soul intact. Certified floor-filler.

Closing the EP is "The Prince" (GN Mix) – a deeper, more heads-down affair packed with hypnotic grooves and a cheeky, slinky bassline that’ll keep the afterhours crowd bubbling nicely.

In a nutshell:A rock-solid EP that tips the hat to 90s house roots while keeping the production crisp and forward-thinking. Groove is the name of the game here, and each remix brings its own spice without losing the heart of the original. Whether you're warming up the floor or setting it ablaze, there’s plenty to pull from here.

KZN005 sees Silas & Snare return to the Kaizen fold with the three-track 'Pressure' EP. Lead track 'Pressure' is a continuation of Kaizen's recognisably weighty bass-inspired sound, carried by hefty kicks and screwed synths after a lengthy cosmic build-up. A downtempo influence runs through 'Dreamscape', the floaty synths countered with skittering drums, while EP closer 'Whistle Blower' is packed with industrial percussion and creepy bleeps made for those heads-down, screw-face moments on the dancefloor. This EP comes three years after Silas & Snare's Kaizen debut, 'Biometric'. Gear up and get ready for some 'Pressure'!

50 years after the genre turned the music world upside-down, GRADE 2 bring the raw power of old school punk to a new generation. Their second release on Tim Armstrong"s legendary Hellcat Records is a thumping 15 track tour de force melding the uncompromising ethos of punk with the howl of contemporary injustice, personal identity and frustrations of Gen-Z youth, authentically told by three lads with punk coursing through their veins. Formed on their native Isle of Wight when they were just 14 years old, Jack Chatfield (guitar & vocals), Jacob Hull (drums) and Sid Ryan (bass & vocals) honed their craft covering punk pioneers before creating a sound uniquely theirs: ten years on, the eponymous Grade 2 is their magnum opus. The new album was produced by the band along with Tim Timebomb (Armstrong) and T.J. Rivers at Armstrong"s Ship Rec Studio in Los Angeles. "Returning to Ship Rec Studio resparked that magic dynamic" says guitarist Jack Chatfield. "When we"re in there I feel like we reach our full potential. Tim would offer tweaks and tips for some songs, while others he"d compliment as finished first time we played them." "We worked flat-out recording this record," says drummer Jacob Hull, "but we never felt pressured, Tim keeping us in the zone to make the best tunes of our lives.

Following his 2019 debut on the label with Amphibious / Lucid Dreams, Bristol-based producer Drone returns to System Music for another exploration into the darker corners of sonic frequencies and low end pressure.

Entitled Flooded EP, this is Drone’s biggest project to date and features 4 original, epic tracks accompanied by an incredible remix from SP:MC. The EP kicks off with 20k, an introduction laden with off-kilter, haunting eeriness and pulsating bass and percussion. Next up is Entropy, a truly ethereal track. Spatially beautiful yet isolating and cold. The title track, Flooded, is a monster of a track which intimidates and excites with eyes down and gun fingers raised. Rounding off the body of work is Fear which hits hard with crisp drum patterns and a throbbing bassline, almost evoking a sense of nostalgia, tying it in seamlessly with a typically electrifying remix from SP:MC

Folamour ist zurück mit seinem neuen Album. Diese 14-Track-LP ist ein wahrer Wirbelwind der Emotionen, eine Mischung aus Euphorie und Tagträumen, getragen von House-, Disco-, Funk- und Soul-Einflüssen. Nach einem dreiteiligen Album im Jahr 2024, schuf der Sänger eine kaleidoskopische Kombination aus Delirium und Euphorie, aufgebaut auf den Grundpfeilern von House, Disco, Funk und Soul. Er plädiert für Musik als verbindende Kraft, als Ort, an dem Barrieren zerfallen und Platz machen für den gegenwärtigen Moment und für Liebe in all ihrer Vielfalt. Das Album ist auch eine Ode an die Freiheit, die Freiheit, man selbst zu sein und zu akzeptieren, wer man wirklich ist. Auf der Tracklist und den beiden Singles finden sich viele lebendige Nuancen des elektronischen Spektrums, angetrieben von erhabenen House-Beats mit Kabusa Oriental Choir, und "Ça Va Aller", einer Hymne der Hoffnung mit viel Groove, gefühlvollen House-Vibes und einem eingängigen Gesangs-Hook.
