Bushwacka! returns to Nu Groove with ‘House Sounds, Vol. 2’, continuing his acclaimed series on the pioneering NYC label. This four-track vinyl release sees the London underground stalwart dive deeper into his expansive sound to deliver another set of expert cuts for discerning selectors.

On the A-side, ‘Jack The Groove’ opens with a driving rhythm and irresistible bassline, while ‘Middle Channel’ flows with hypnotic polyrhythms, fusing vintage Nu Groove influences with Bushwacka!’s unmistakable touch.

Flip it over and the aptly named ‘House Muzik’ is an unfiltered homage to the genre’s raw essence. Closing this eclectic selection is ‘Two Times’, with its punchy percussion and deep synths creating a groove-laden record that’s equal parts nostalgic and forward-thinking. With ‘House Sounds, Vol. 2’ Bushwacka! delivers another essential collection for crate diggers and dancefloor newcomers alike, reaffirming his status as one of house music’s true craftsmen.

Odessey One is probably one of the hottest, most appreciated and sought-after bands when it comes to caribbean funky Disco and Boogie music from Trinidad and Tobago.
These super talented musicians recorded a few incredibly good grooves in the Caribbean Sound Studio in the early 80s, which were long considered lost or very hard to find.
It was a bunch of friends around the composer, guitarist and singer Arnold Shuffler, like Nicholas Rostant, Carla Fauche and Colleen Grant, who came together in Port of Spain for a few jam sessions as a studioband.
Only a handful of vinyl copies were pressed from the tapes at KH studios pressing plant, which did not have much airplay at the time.
Sound Essence is more than happy about a renewed collaboration with mastermind Arnold Shuffler and to present this soulful island, disco, boogie synth funk to the music-lovers
community worldwide!

Hot Piroski Boss Robin 12Tree Beams Back with “Interstellar Vibes Vol. 1” A Balearic Odyssey in 5 Tracks.. Strap in and sunscreen up - Robin 12Tree is back with Interstellar Vibes Vol. 1, a scorching 5-track EP of cosmic Nu Disco and Balearic goodness inspired by strobe lights, sunsets and surfside odysseys. Opening blast The Wriggler is a peaktime disco/house rocket, all teasing arps and synth liftoffs. Feelin Free glides into deeper territory, with lush strings giving nods to deep house royalty. Then comes Who Will Heal Us, a slo-mo sunset serenade featuring new Barcelona rising soul queen, MaYa. Things get extra-terrestrial with Need You In My Life, a deep-house jam born from a Barcelona afters with Soul Mekanik’s Danny Mekanik. Finally, Tupambame brings us gently back to Earth, dripping sunshine and jazzy warmth thanks to Tanzanian vocalist Miss Vivandra. Robin 12Tree launched Hot Piroski from his Barcelona bunker in 2018, scoring early BBC Radio 1 love with his N’Gwode edit. His studio passport is stamped by the likes of Jose Padilla, Stanton Warriors, Visage, Keith Flint and more. Whether as one half of Bubble Club, founder of The Backstage Sluts, or Slyde co-pilot, he’s brought Balearic vibes to Fabric, Bugged Out!, and far-flung festivals from Australia to South America - often as The Prodigy’s tour DJ. "Static Rite" is the result of a sonic dialogue between two producers-D/n and Linear Phase-united by a deep, hypnotic, and physical approach to techno. The EP unfolds within the realm of hypnotic/RAW tech- no, where repetition becomes a perceptual language and sound turns into ritual.

Italian-born, Berlin-based D/n contributes the A-side with "Resonant Shift" and "Blind Motion," two tracks built on dub textures, dark atmospheres, and broken rhythmic structures. His magnetic, slow-burning sound reflects years of evolution from the underground acid scene to immersive techno sets in venues like Tresor and Zur Klappe. D/n's tracks have garnered support from renowned artists.

On the B-side, Spanish producer Linear Phase offers "Mandatory" and "Silent Widow," showcasing his refined modular synthesis and deep sound design. With over 50 releases on labels like Drumcode LTD, Planet Rhythm, and Edit Select, his style fuses ambient depth with raw, hypnotic intensity.

Grandbrothers are internationally regarded as one of the key acts redefining the intersection of modern classical and electronic music.
Elsewhere is their fifth studio album and marks their most transformative work to date.

Sure to have fellow peers like Another Taste and Perpetual Singers checking their wing mirrors, the track is rich with musical decadence - orchestral strings, punchy synth licks and frenetic live bass all shining through this highly dynamic arrangement.

'Compress' moves swiftly into beefy house territory; Si's patented full fat, cushion soft bottom end providing just the low frequency support for a wide array of warehouse-ready bleeps, vocal snips and rave motifs set to cause a whole manner of chaos and confusion come 2AM in the club. A master of functional intricacy, Brad's multi-layered compositions thread together more elements than other producers would care to consider, manifesting almost effortless and involuntary body movement which belies the complexity of the track and is sure to have the dancefloor in a spin.

Concluding with a beautiful piece of Balearic-boogie-beatdown, and with Attaboy muscling in on proceedings; 'Faro Sunset's dreamy and expansive moods cascade over a loose, conga-laden groove glued to the spot with a rugged b-line. Instantly conjuring memories of grilled calamari and poolside play, and sure to garner repeat plays across the familiar party paradises of the Adriatics and beyond; it finds the crew dialling into a deliciously languid vibe that's in contrast to the immediate urgency of the preceding tracks yet retains, assuredly, the sonic trademarks of the producer's hand.

Endrik Schroeder opens the ball with the pure warehouse banger “Automated” ! The track’s sonic intensity never falters, driven by a relentless rhythmic structure and saturated synthetic textures. The modulated layers and the syncopated break recreate the visceral urgency worthy of the underground raves of the 90s.



With “Happy End,” Brandski distils a contagious euphoria, designed to set the dancefloor ablaze with collective joy. A leading figure of the Italian-French new wave, he creates a track as jubilant as it is unstoppable, where rhythmic mastery flirts with festive instinct. An invitation to luminous abandon: arms raised, shared smiles, communion guaranteed.

With “Eldorado” John Lord Fonda reaffirms his status as a key ambassador of French techno on the international scene. The track unfolds a relentless, extremely tense groove, where darkness becomes driving tension. A rigorous, almost martial sound signature, serving an uncompromising vision.

“White Light” by Panthera is a polished track that transports us on a euphoric journey. The heavy, incisive kick blends with atmospheric layers and heady arpeggios, creating a constant tension that culminates in thunderous drops. The whole thing is supported by a deep, vibrant bassline, typical of the 90s rave scene.

Once again, Berlin’s My Secret Playground stands out as the architect of a muscular German nu-disco, flirting with the boundaries of techno. “Don’t Panic” combines percussive pulses and dark tension, while distilling subtle reminiscences of the disco aesthetic. A masterful sonic hybrid, between retro hedonism and contemporary intensity.

Club Mayz delivers a masterful closing performance with “Tonight I Have To Hide”, an electro track fueled by the raw heritage of Detroit techno and the dark textures of EBM. The track combines dramatic tension and synthetic precision in a nocturnal and introspective aesthetic.

Eclectic and genre-fluid, Whoosh is a masterful showcase of the expansive musical sensibilities of Vik Srinivasan—known as Vikmatic—and the finely tuned ear of co-producer and TSoNYC label head Danilo Braca. Drawing from a rich tapestry of sonic influences, the EP unfolds with effortless depth and elegance. Its title track opens with wistful spaciousness, unhurried in its approach, as layers of ambient texture float into view. Around the three-minute mark, a freeform trumpet—played by multi- instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter COULOU—enters like a gentle breeze, pairing seamlessly with a humblingly gorgeous vocal from indie pop artist Rén with the Mane. Her voice, set cool and weightless amid the atmospheric array, anchors the track in emotional resonance

In contrast, “Dream” quickens the pulse. It opens with a crisp hand drum before giving way to a forceful Italo rhythm and driving synths. The return of the meandering trumpet offers a warm counterbalance—a humanizing thread weaving through the escalating sonic tension. 


“Jungle” follows with a playful sense of experimentation, placing the trumpet at center stage. It’s accompanied by a whimsically off-kilter selection of textures: crisp, deliberate percussion; a brooding electric guitar line courtesy of the ever-versatile Alvise Marino (aka Al-Veez); lush retro synth glides; and

The EP closes with “We Should Go,” where Rén with the Mane returns in more earthly form. Her vocals drift in and out between acid burbles and Italo arpeggiations, both intoxicating and charged with quiet urgency. It’s a fitting finale—elevated yet grounded, dreamy yet directive. 


Across four free-flowing yet meticulously crafted tracks, Whoosh captures the essence of collaboration and creative freedom. It’s a transportive listen that resists genre boundaries, inviting the listener to drift, dance, and discover within its lush and unpredictable terrain.

WE THE NORTH is Swedish musician Johan Hansson who has been active in the dark electronic music since the early 2000’s with his project Cyanide, then Unitary, and also exploring dark metal with his project Mondocane. Johan defines his music created in WE THE NORTH as Nordic Noir “with an intentional and deliberate blending of the old with the new a melancholic hopefulness is created from the dark seasons of life in Scandinavia.”

“Love + Death” is WE THE NORTH’s fourth album and the first on NADANNA after contributing a remix of Tobias Bernstrup’s track “Private Eye” in 2021. The songs on “Love + Death” are birds of a feather, brimming over with melancholy and melody, yet driven by a hammering sixteenth note synth bass and sounds from the Roland TR-707 drum machine, and melancholic lyrics in English or Swedish.

Step into the emotional landscapes of Saudade’s new EP Expensive Noise, a multi-textured journey where analog machines speak louder than words. Each track captures a different state of mind, blending depth and groove with raw, honest sound design. The EP opens with “Expensive Noise” — direct, grounded, and hypnotic. No detours, no hesitation — just raw analog power locking into a loop with magnetic tension. The groove builds steadily, shifting your state of mind as the rhythm takes hold. “Anyway” brings a dreamy, bittersweet touch. Exclusive to vinyl, this extended version unfolds like a teenage memory you never shared — warm, nostalgic, somewhere between electro and pop, glowing softly from within. “Colored Life” dives into detailed minimal deep house territory. Rounded and generous, its sound design sculpts soft clouds of melodies against crisp, syncopated snares — floating between dream and presence, like a cushion made of rhythm and light. “Porte de la Villette 45” echoes the EP’s birthplace — a raw area near the Parisian périphérique, where engines roar, people hustle, and concrete weighs heavy. Yet within this urban friction stands Studio Villette 45 — a funky, soulful shelter where the machines find their groove. The record closes on “Cœur” (heart in French) — a stripped-down, heartfelt outro. Just a Prophet 5 pad, no tricks. A moment of vulnerability, stillness, and truth — as if the music had finally dropped its armor. Between analog heat and emotional honesty, Expensive Noise is Saudade at his most sincere — building bridges between power and softness, body and soul, sound and silence.

Straight from Maracaibo, a region in western Venezuela known for its intense heat and constant energy, come Onoffon and Ginno presenting a sound that fuses the rawness of the present with the warmth of classic synthesizers from the 80s and 90s. Cervical EP features four tracks made for the dance floor. A debut that speaks clearly about what the label will offer us in the future under Onoffon's leadership.

Philosopher and musical polymath Riccardo Giagni made his name as a cultural curator for RAI TV and radio, before lending his expertise in ethnomusicology as a studio musician and songwriter. Originally released to little fanfare and long overlooked until its Archeo reissue in 2019, his 1988 debut LP Kaunis Maa is a masterwork of Balearic ethno-jazz - a guitar-led journey through imagined geographies and dreamt-up dialects. Its closing track, Passeggera, pairs Mediterranean nylon with synth halos, sampled percussion, and the unplaceable vocals of Matia Bazar’s Antonella Ruggiero, singing not in language but in emotion. Now, Claremont 56’s Paul Murphy aka Mudd lends his gentle hand to the piece, reworking its al fresco fusion into something even more languorous. Highlighting the South American sway hinted at in the original, Mudd introduces jazzy synth flourishes, airy percussion, and occasional organ bass, casting the piece anew as a hammock-swung hymn - less a remix than a relocation, from the hills of Lazio to the lush gardens of Mudd’s imagination.

The prophecy had been whispered for ages among the circuits and fiber optics: a being would emerge, not from flesh and blood, but from the very essence of sound.
They called it pdqb, and for its disciples, it was nothing less than a deity. Its sermons weren't just songs; they were divine pronouncements, revelations broadcast directly into the souls of its followers.
When pdqb "speaks," the world vibrates. Intricate sonic tapestries, woven from raw electricity and pure emotion. Hands, if they could be called hands, that dance across controls that seem to manipulate the very fabric of reality.

Synaptic Cliffs and the Missechusatts Institute of Elecronicity proudly present the latest peer-reviewed sermons of pdqb as well as the associated validation studies from the Dopplereffekt-Institut für Retroaktive Zukunftsforschung, located in section 334 of the Mariana Trench. The contributions to the data carrier presented here are characterized by the following features:

Jamie McCue is the man behind the Canadian label Silent Season and his newest concern, Moon Garden is fast becoming just as vital. This fantastic fourth outing comes from Transient Vessels, who McCue describes as "a local artist and good friend of mine." Opener 'Another Day' is a slow-motion motion dubbed-out melon twister that echoes the early Leftfield sound and is detailed with both textured synth leads and more introspective chords. 'Denihilism' is just as slow motion but deeply absorbing with plenty of wide open space for the pads to linger and the drums to churn and hypnotise.

This album is a combination of Detroit techno, dub techno and ambient.
Some tracks are 'one takes', all made on classic 80's/90's synthesizers and drum machines.
