„The Who By Numbers“, das Anfang Oktober 1975 erschien, ist das siebte Studioalbum von The Who
und stellte einen Wendepunkt für die Band dar, da die Songs größtenteils introspektiver und persönlicher
waren als ihre bisherigen Veröffentlichungen. Das Album war ein kommerzieller Erfolg und erreichte Platz
8 der US-Billboard-Charts sowie Platz 7 in Großbritannien, was zum Teil auf den Erfolg eines der leichteren
Stücke des Albums zurückzuführen war: „Squeeze Box“ wurde zu einem internationalen Hit und schaffte
es in Großbritannien in die Top Ten, in den USA in die Top 20 und in Kanada auf Platz 1.
50 Jahre später wird „The Who By Numbers“ im Oktober dieses Jahres als Super-Deluxe-Edition-Box
mit 5 CDs und 1 Blu-ray neu aufgelegt. Diese enthält ein 100-seitiges Hardcover-Buch mit Fotos, Erinnerungsstücken und exklusiven Anmerkungen von Pete Townshend und dem Who-Experten Andy Neill, 92
unveröffentlichte Titel und Mixe, brandneue Atmos-, 5.1- und Stereo-Mixe von Pete Townshend, 11 von
Petes Original-Demos für das Album, Aufnahmesessions aus den Ramport- und Shepperton-Studios, frühe
Mixe, Guide-Vocals, die bislang umfassendste Version von „Live At Vetch Field, Swansea, Wales, 12. Juni
1976“ sowie auf der Blu-ray Audio- und Videomaterial von einem bisher unveröffentlichten Who-Konzert,
das auf 2-Zoll-Videoband im Metropolitan Stadium in Pontiac, Michigan, aufgenommen wurde.

The last gig played by The Who before the Quadrophenia tour was this seven track greatest hits set, broad-cast on Dutch television in March 1973. Featuring material from Tommy and Who's Next, the encore was a lengthy but engrossing version of Magic Bus. Comes with full recording details and extensive sleeve notes.

Quadrophenia ist das sechste Studioalbum von The Who und erschien im Oktober 1973. Die zweite Rockoper der Band, die von vielen als ihr bestes Album angesehen wird, enthält die Songs ’The Real Me’, ’5.15’ und das epische ’Love Reign O’er Me’. Anlässlich des 50. Jahrestags der Erstveröffentlichung des Albums ist Quadrophenia nun als schwarze Doppel-LP erhältlich, verpackt in der Originalhülle mit Booklet, Obi und Echtheitszertifikat. Gemastert wurde es von Jon Astley in Close to the Edge und von Miles Showell in den Abbey Road Studios mit einer mit der Half-Speed Mastering Technik. Das Album ”The Who With Orchestra Live At Wembley” wurde bei der Show der Band im weltberühmten Wembley-Stadion am 6. Juli 2019 aufgenommen. The Who performte viele ihrer größten Hits sowie Songs von ihrem gefeierten letzten Studioalbum mit Hilfe des Isobel Griffiths Ltd Orchestra. Dieses Album wird nun in 5 Formaten veröffentlicht und umfasst die 1CD mit den Highlights, eine 2CD + Blu-Ray mit einem Atmos-Mix des gesamten Albums sowie eine schwarze Standard-Vinyl-Version.
Dazu gibt es ein umfangreiches Booklet mit zahlreichen Fotos von den Proben, Backstage und von der Show.

The follow up to My Generation, A Quick One was released in 1966, it contains the experimental music Suite (a nod to Rock Operas that were to follow) A Quick One While He’s Away, famous for being performed at the Rolling Stones Rock N Roll Circus. Replica LP reissue of the soundtrack from the classic and influential 1979 film, adapted by director Franc Roddam from the Who’s 1973 rock opera, that gave rise to the self-styled mod revival in the UK.
