“In The Mix: Volume 1” is the first vinyl compilation of artists that have performed in one of New Orleans most beloved record shops - NOLA Mix Records. Though these aren't live recordings, they capture the spirit and soul of both the shop and the Crescent City itself. You’ll hear everything from Jazz and Funk to Hip-Hop, House, and Latin — all infused with the unmistakable energy of New Orleans.

Silvana Rossi emerges from the new wave of Italo revivalists with a sound that feels both timeless and sharply contemporary, where vintage drum machines, analog synth lines and nocturnal romance collide with a modern club sensibility. Walk In The Night, another italo classic on the EP, stripped-back and hypnotic, with a confident groove that nods to classic Italo while staying firmly rooted in modern club aesthetics. “Bad Girl” brings a sharper, more playful edge, driving, stylish, and slightly dangerous. A weapon with crossover appeal for electro and wave crowds alike. A versatile tool for both warm-ups and deeper moments. Emotionally direct yet sonically controlled lush pads and restrained vocals create a sense of distance that pulls you in “Don’t Leave Me”. ‘UK House Sermon’ stands proudly alongside many US house fables and its delivery pays homage to the likes of The Streets, ‘Weak Become Heroes’, Ashley Beedle and Earl Zinger’s ‘Ghost Dancers’ and Daft Punk’s ‘Teachers’.

The 'UK House Sermon' trilogy is a behemoth of a project. The original concept of saluting the trailblazing UK House DJs was conceived by producer/remixer/DJ, Dan The Drum. He enlisted the amazing team of Stuart Patterson narrating, Carmy Love on vocals and musical maestro, Darren Morris on co-production and all additional instrumentation.

Legendary remix combo, X-Press 2 have waded in and rolled up their remixing sleeves to deliver two massive slabs of prime time house niceness. The 'Wild Pitch' remix is a dance floor destroyer of epic proportions with the 'Give Thanks' remix creeping up on you like a thief in the night. A magnificent brace of musical interpretations. Hats off to everyone involved.

The Bluebeaters enjoyed a revival with their 2025 album Everybody Knows, released by Record Kicks. In 2023, to be included in a compilation created by Freedom Sounds Festival in Cologne (Germany), we reworked an extra track entitled TRINITY that had been left off the album. In addition to being included in the compilation, it became the first single on 7-inch vinyl released by the newly formed Caribb Roots.

Although we played it live, the recording of the song had been left half-finished, so we picked it up again, recorded the horns and vocals, and finished mixing it.

The song is linked to the very Italian tradition of Western film soundtracks, and Trinity is a seminal song in this sense.

Crying Outcast returns with its third release, landing close to home with legendary dub innovator The Rootsman. Bradford’s own and a true pioneering force in experimental dub since the 90s, The Rootsman’s influence runs quietly but deeply through the underground. Roots Return gathers three essential works from his catalogue, including collaborations with Celtarabia and Russ (The Disciples) as Pachakuti, alongside a light-headed reinterpretation from label head Miles J Paralysis. Spiritual and subtly psychedelic, yet deeply rooted in dub tradition throughout, drawing on influences from Pakistani devotional hymns and Celtic folk traditions. An essential modern day EP, displaying a meeting point between the heritage and the future sound of dub music.

"Delegation is a British soul, funk, and disco band known for their success across Europe, though they remained
relatively under the radar in the U.S. Formed in 1975 by Jamaican singer Ricky Bailey, the group’s music quickly
gained traction with their first single, ‘The Promise of Love’ and follow up ‘Where Is the Love We Used to Know’
became a hit in Britain. Despite frequent lineup changes, Bailey was a consistent member throughout as the band
recorded much of their music in London, including their popular Eau de Vie album in 1979. The band continued
to evolve until the early 1990s and put out new music back in 20121. This is a comprehensive Best Of across two
sides of coloured vinyl."

Death Is Not The End follow up their early 2020 tape The Sun Is Setting on the World with a further collection of hardcore rebetika recordings from the 1930s through to late '50s. More songs of sorrow, poverty, loss and the end of the world.
