It continues a resurgence of lush, harmonic techno that once dominated the electronic music scene and which is now findingAa fresh, young audience. Expansive chords, delicate melodies and intricate grooves are once again on the cutting edge agenda.

Four slow-burning bombs that perfectly encapsulate how far that Slow Motion, slo-mo sound can be stretched. Featuring artists old as Alien Alien (Rodion & Hugo Sanchez) and Lerosa and new as Stoned Immaculate (Leo Mas & Fabrice and Max Essa) and Kassiel, Slow Motion drop the energy down a notch or two but not the emotion. Just as suitable for an early morning run as they are for a Balearic sunset, this four tracker has got essential written all over it.

Hot off the back of "On Top" that featured on our "Deep Love 2017" compilation, Lorenz Rhode returns to the label with his debut full length EP "Risa". A gifted musician, known for his fierce take on funk, performance prowess on German TV show "NEO Magazin Royale" and as part of Detroit Swindle's live outfit, he's sent us a three-tracker packed full of vibe and musicality.

Opening the A-side "And I Said" is an uplifting, funked-up house jam. Exuberant and alive it's built around a Rhodes riff with a romantic twist, swelling stabs and straight forward percussion direct from Lorenz' collection of Roland machines. The following "Risa" is loaded with energy. A gritty analogue snare and raw drums punch as central synth lines and rippling arps ramp up the intensity to bursting.

On the B1 the mysterious Amsterdam based K.98 returns with his second ever remix! After the huge success of the "Thrilogy" remix for WOLF Music in 2015, we are extremely happy to see Lorenz' original turned into a blasting 909 frenzy, 100% guaranteed dance floor action on this one!

Closing we have "Xpandau", a feel-good indie/disco gem reminiscent of Lindstrøm and Röyksopp. The central lead that sounds like something sampled from a dusty African guitar recording, actually came from a vintage Oberheim Lorenz recently fell in love with. Warbling key melodies dance over the top along with tuned percussion, maintaining the light hearted, tropical tinged tone to the end.

Acid Test continues their journey with the return of Achterbahn D'Amour. On their first proper release in three years, Jool & Iron Curtis patiently craft an intricate sound world - with the opening track, major-key pads hearken towards a bright future, hi-hats rustle like leaves and on "Dehaveland," percussive elements fall into beautiful, random unison like factory machines staging an after hours dance. Samuel Van Dijk's vaunted VC-118A project steps up for a remix, turning in a taut techno version that unfurls smoke pillars of ghostly ambience. The duo wraps up the four-tracker with an unexpected dreamy electro turn, "Don't Talk To Me." Throughout Acid Test 13, they remain in lockstep with the label's ethos - to bend, hammer and flatten acid lines into new, imaginative shapes.

After 15 years of Djing, clubbing and promoting including 4 years of FEINES TIER happenings in Cologne the busy crew is finally starting the label of the same title. Before going official with the first catalog number they pressed the SLINGA EP by PHILIPP FEIN & NIELS FREIDEL as a beautiful 3-tracker on vinyl. It contains the original and remixes by MAX MOHR from the Ex-Playhouse camp and bassline operator ALAVI with a slower funky edit.

Operating a million miles away from the kick and hiss of the trendy lo-fi folks, the Berlin based producer favours subtle rhythms, delicate textures and tender melodies - turning out a string of sophisticated dance floor winners for 100% Silk, Church and No Bad Days. Now he brings his organic house stylings to the Growing Bin with a fresh five-tracker packed with all the warmth of a Tempelhof picnic on a balmy July afternoon.

Emerging from the watery depths of the Drexciyan ocean, opener ‚Mood' strides calmly through the morning dew, stretching those loose limbs and seeking out Hardcastle's rainforest. Drifting freely
through immersive, aquatic pads and soft focus melodies, the track takes in a little R&R before snapping electro percussion, cascading synthlines and a rolling rhythm up the intensity. The deepness continues on the A2 as ‚Dream Precipitation' offers a medicated vision of Debussy doing P-Bar while Lynch rolls the cameras. Syncopated hi-hats, jazzy keys and star-gazing sine waves wrap themselves around your cerebellum, expanding your mind as a steady kick moves your body into the pleasure zone. Booth takes a Derren Brown tip on the flip, imbuing ‚You' with the kind of mesmeric rhythm that can make the staunchest wallflower pull a Pink Panther on a packed dance floor. The exotic tumble of woody percussion and hissing castanets keep up a fascinating rhythm, driving the titular mantra and snaking synth melody through bursts of slapped bass and subtle 4/4. ‚Dhoop Stick' stays on board with the boogie hypnotism, weaving its way through celestial melodies, squelching bass and toasty Rhodes before ‚The Chorus' brings down the curtain with wailing FM vox, military snares and the dreamy synth pop charm of a lost Sheffield classic. Warm, woody and entirely organic, this is the birth of Green House...you heard it here first!

The following three-tracker release is one of those that are about to take you on a very clear ride. We will start with some tensioning and rising loops and will keep you up while the swiftly vibes are getting to you. With The first composition on A side, Alex won't give you a break - it's a one breath composition where you don't have any time for a second thought. When it looks like both chunky bass and kicks are going away - a very sharp-shaped and acidy synth will remain on the watch and will ensure the continuously driving thrill. Getting to the Second part of this side, what can we say, straight from the beginning a thick bass line makes it s introduction in order to lead you into some awakeness on a early morning on the dancefloor. Stepping into the game, Diferit on the remix for B side is bringing you a blend of both tracks u've heard before. Very rich in vibrations of different spectres and proveniences - from very clear and clean kicks to a bouncy bass line to the very zippy and zappy sounds of his unique style. The pleasure of having these two minds behind the second release of Aforisme is ours.

London duo Jynx provide the next chapter to Kidnap Kid's 'Birds That Fy'; an imprint quickly building a slim but effective catalogue.
This two tracker is a true fusion of sound, entangling vibrant UKG percussion, emotive vocals and charmingly quirky production.
Altogether it creates something beautiful and unique, echoing the individuality of the label itself.

Back after a short break, Bass Cadet Records' Orbit series continues with a 3 tracker from US legend Alton Miller. On the A-side lays 9 minutes of pure Detroit House bliss, with a version of his classic track "When Morning Comes" that has only seen light on a japanese special limited edition until now. The flip offers two brilliant club crafts that sparkle Chicago soulful Deep House in the vein of Ron Trent, Glenn Underground and co.

Killawatt returns with his sophomore 47 solo EP.

Successive to 47010, his first solo four-tracker for the label released earlier this year, Killawatt delivers 47012 allowing his percussive heavy background to influence his take on modern dance floor material with bone rattling rhythms with stirring
overtones and ruptured drum patterns.

Win2Win, aka Black Spuma, aka Lauer and Fabrizio Mammarella. Is that enough names New project from two of Slow Motion's most loyal artists Fantasia 500 channels the spirit of Detroit electro and even dare we say it ghetto house through the disco grinder to make something totally new. With enough chug and swagger to rock any floor this four tracker is 100% party ready.

Label Honcho Fabio Monesi return on his own platform with a two-tracker. If "Ancient Gate" is a raw-punchy-electro-house tool, "Wishing On the Stars" hark back to the classic sound of some of the greatest Fxhe Records.

CHIWAX welcomes MAP & DJ Haus to the Family! DJ Haus aka Rupert Cogan in the head of Uttu & Hot Haus Records. He released already on respected Clone Jack for Daze series, Crème Organization and of course on his won imprints to name a few. The new 3 tracker made together with MAP comes around in good Dance Mania style. Chicago House meets UK Garage - worth to check!

One year on since their last venture as Black Spuma on International Feel, Fabrizio Mammarella, also known as Telespazio and Phillip Lauer, one half of Tuff City Kids, are back with the insatiable Orme EP. Showcasing the pair at their best, this four tracker is where acid meets emotive melodies and shimmering Italo synths lines. In the words of Phillip Lauer it's where "balearic vibes, acid love and a lost tape from 1991 merge into pure bliss!.." The pair first met when Phillip (trading as Arto Mwambe) remixed a Telespazio track. They started working together in 2015 when their first joint release Oasi was released on International Feel. An integral part of the label, Lauer recently released the highly acclaimed self-titled Talamanca System album on International Feel alongside Gerd Janson and label boss Mark Barrott. Both Lauer and Mammarella have a history of quality releases on great labels: Running Back, Beats In Space, Permanent Vacation and Rollerboys Recordings.

The 2nd release on Youth comes from London artist Shamos. With Lyster having met Shamos through NTS it wasn't long before they were DJ'ing together around parties in London and Shamos began sharing music with him. Shamos, who last released on Funkinevens Apron label, comes with a heavy 4 tracker bringing the punkier dregs of new wave, dreamy abstract house and tripped out hardware jams, on limited red vinyl.
