Mother Twilight is the second Faun Fables album. It has since been noted by Scottish author R.J. Stewart as a work containing true artifacts of the oral underworld tradition. Dawn and Nils made a hand-assembled first pressing and peddled it to nearly every bar and rural hall across North America from 2001-2003. Drag City reissued the CD in 2004. Things are glowing outside, enough to bring any sun worshiper in for the night. But you must remain outside and begin walking. It"ll prepare you for the night, which otherwise comes as a chilling surprise. If you pay attention this time, maybe you"ll understand why you"re becoming invisible. When your memory began, it wasn"t startling, wasn"t a mistake. It came out of an old, dark and familiar thing, like a storyteller, like Twilight... so save us from fear, mother, and tell your story. Dawn McCarthy"s creative background was forged in oral tradition amidst a large musical family in Spokane, Washington; studying piano, music theater, rock bands, guitar, folklore and ethnomusicology. Dawn cut her teeth as a singer and performer with various bands and cabarets in Madison, Wisconsin and New York City, most notably as yodeler with the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, who inspired her to want a gypsy life with a kindred spirit someday. Her focus took a pivotal turn in that direction in 1997 with a solo quest through the UK and Ireland and their bardic traditions; singing songs in clubs and homes, all the while undergoing a pastoral, psychological experience with the land. Upon her return to the States, a fateful meeting with Oakland, CA born-and-raised Nils Frykdahl (Sleepytime Gorilla Museum) moved McCarthy back to the West to begin a new creative collaboration in the thriving hills and art community of the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 1999, Faun Fables have released six albums and performed their animist, otherworldly folk music across North America and Europe, with shows in Australia, New Zealand and Israel, as well. Dawn"s writing and voice (described by The New Yorker as "one of the more compelling instruments in contemporary music") opens hearts and minds with a whisper to a rallying battle cry, further animated by Frykdahl"s adventurous musicality and vocals. Dawn has written musical theater performed by the Idyllwild Arts Academy, among others, and has lent her vocals to Bonnie "Prince" Billy on The Letting Go and What the Brothers Sang. In 2022, Faun Fables debuted their family band, joined onstage by their daughters with vocals, percussion, keyboard and dance.

Conceived in late 2002 as a soundtrack for one of the most sinister, dark, brutal and morbid periods of European history, the Dark Ages. Diving deep into Medieval works on witchcraft, demonology and theology, as well as the works of modern authors exploring all the aspects of that epoch, Roman Saenko (of Drudkh and Hate Forest) wanted to explore all shades of the Middle Ages. Gegründet 1989 von Schlagzeuger Joakim Sterner, vertraten die Stockholmer Blackhearts von Anfang an eine einzigartige und furchtlose Vision. Mit den Gitarristen Sebastian Ramstedt und Johan Bergeback, die nach einer 5jährigen Pause wieder dabei sind, war es ein Karrierehöhepunkt für alle Beteiligten. Es war nicht nur das am besten klingende Album der Bandkarriere, sondern auch eines der monströsesten, dramatischsten und zerstörerischsten des Jahrzehnts und machte die Aussicht auf die nächsten NECROPHOBIC-Alben noch verlockender. Mit ihrem 10. Studioalbum "In the Twilight Grey" tauchen die schwedischen Blackened-Death-Metal-Meister noch tiefer in pechschwarze Schatten ein. Erneut wurde das Album von Fredrik Folkare (von den Death Metal-Ikonen Unleashed) in den Chrome Studios in Stockholm produziert, gemischt und gemastert und in enger Zusammenarbeit von Folkare und der Band selbst aufgenommen. "In the Twilight Grey" bietet nicht nur klassische NECROPHOBIC-Schätze wie "Stormcrow" oder den Titeltrack, sondern auch feierliche Reisen in die Düsternis wie das fesselnde "Nordanvind".

Originally released in 2014 as Vol.7 in the Luv N'Haight Edit Series which was the first on a 7-inch and featured heavyweight digger, edit-master, and producer Kon with his take on Twilight’s Modern Soul and Boogie classic “You’re In Love”. He stays true to the original but packs a bit more punch into the groove while keeping the focus on the catchy vocals and chorus on the A-side, and doing it Dub-style with minimal vocals and plenty of echo on the flip.

The legend of Twilight Force began to form in the year 2007 of the Human Era. It was the result of a yearning to bring back the golden age of Epic Symphonic Power Metal. But Twilight Force soon became an entity of its own, evolving and elevating the genre to new heights and sounds. By fusing triumphant melodies with rich orchestral arrangements and swift performances, Twilight Force creates an intense and immersive experience. Transporting the listener to a magic realm filled with wonder, heroic tales and mesmerising tales from the mythical world known as The Twilight Kingdoms.

Using their vast experience from previous musical endeavours, their classical training, and technical proficiency, Twilight Force spawned the first ever Adventure Metal album in 2014 H.E. - Tales of Ancient Prophecies. Two more critically acclaimed albums followed in its wake, Heroes of Mighty Magic (2016), and Dawn of the Dragonstar (2019), with the fourth opus At the Heart of Wintervale set for release on January 20th, 2023 on Nuclear Blast Records.

Once again, the cover artwork has been created by the brilliantly skilled Kerem Beyit, and is directly connected to the album’s title track as the band explains: “It depicts the tale told in ‘At the Heart of Wintervale’ where an evil curse is broken, and the ancient dragon may finally roam the realms again, free and unfettered!"

At the Heart of Wintervale will be released on CD, Digibook, and Vinyl. The limited Digibook edition will also include three bonus tracks. The first one is a song, many of the band's loyal knights may somewhat recognize; it is an acoustic blend of some of the older works, featuring an entrancing vocal performance and guitar work by Twilight Force's very own wood elf Aerendir. The second and third bonus tracks are orchestral versions of two songs from the album, where fans will have the opportunity to experience a different soundscape, and perhaps discover new exciting elements and intricacies never discerned before.

With the band embarking on a headlining tour through Europe and UK on time with the album’s release, Twilight Force look immensely forward to continue their epic tale.

Super Rhythm Trax is excited to welcome 303 enthusiast and incredible conceptual artist (check out his website) Yuri Suzuki to the label. Yuri serves up 4 acidic tracks that are perfect fit for the label, all of them giving you that little bit extra, burrowing deep into the groove whilst giving plenty of extra elements to push the listener that bit further ‘out there’.

Yuri has collaborated many times with DMX Krew and appeared on labels as diverse as Matthew Herbert’s Accidental Jnr, Jared Wilson’s 7777 and Chicago’s mighty Trax records.

In the spring of 2008, almost exactly two years after the last time they began recording, the band returned to Bogren's studio in Orebro to show there was still room for improvement with Twilight of the Thunder God.

Zwei Songs - The Wrong Car und Throw Yourself In The Water Again, die noch von den Album Sessions zu Forget The Night Ahead stammen, jedoch nicht mehr rechtzeitig fertiggestellt werden konnten - konnte man hier zum ersten Mal hören. Ebenso wie Remixe von Mogwai und Errors.

Mogwai nahmen sich der Single The Room an, während Errors dem Album-Opener Reflection Of The Television ein Makeover verpassten.
