Ruutu Poiss, the Amsterdam/Tallinn based expert in glistening psychedelic electronics, arrives on the first outing for Wake Dream (A new label run by Amsterdam’s Orpheu The Wizard).
After releasing several 7”s, 12”s and EP’s on Levels, International Major Label, Rets Records and features on various compilations from Fasaan Rec. and Porridge Bullet, Ruutu Poiss lands at Wake Dream to release his first full length album (WADR002), scheduled for late summer 2020.
Leading up to the album, this untitled three tracker gives you a taste of his unique spectrum of kaleidoscopic modular dance music, futuristic synth funk and emotionally charged experimental cuts. These three tracks are not featured on the album and are exclusive only to this pre-release!
(This…) edition of 100 hand-numbered copies worldwide, all housed in an 8″ floppy disk sleeve (…) provides three untitled tunes on this 7″ single, starting with a gooey, yet fascinatingly melodic, multi-layered, ever spiralling Acid workout on the A-side whilst the flip provides both fast-paced, jumpy ElectroAcid as well as an interesting, hypnotic antigroove take on the genre for a second cut .
Evod and Oisel are back on limited catalog with a split vinyl release. Evod’s A1 is a minimal, elegant and clean track, characterized by a simple, yet deep, melody. Drums are linear like the structure of the track, perfect for this kind of refined work. A2, on the other hand, is a dancefloor oriented track, fiery right from the start. Various piano sequences intersect with powerful 909 drums, recalling the original 90’s style. A3 is a perfect tool : a shattered piano melody changes constantly on a 4/4 beat, the result is a work that no listener will ever find boring. U4 by Oisel is full of randomic ambient sounds that dialogue with a deep bassline sequence and dynamic drums, resulting in a track that, almost spontaneously, is always changing. As Oisel experiments with different composing styles, U2 is suspended in the void: high frequencies raids, random bells melodies, granulated hi hats, confused samples of dialogues distinguish the track.

Second release from bore hole, Russian label associated with the now infamous Клуб (Kisloty Club). The release continues the label’s DIY philosophy with four trippy lo-fi cuts from an obscure Moscow artist balancing different in genres and tempos ranging from 120 to 160 BPM.

THE GOOPY GOONS ARE BACK with another collection of twisted American electronics. For those not familiar, CP/BW is a collaboration between Corporate Park (aka Shane English/Jonah Lange) and Beau Wanzer. This second LP collects tracks from various recording sessions done in Texas over the past 5 years. Humid ditties, bumpkin beats, toothless treats, and only for the freaks.
As one journey nears its end, another one is just starting. After the final release of her Propaganda label Nastia is back with a new imprint - NECHTO. After putting out a modest, but powerful catalogue of vinyl collector's exclusives, Nastia decided to focus more on dancefloor techno music.
The first installment in NECHTO catalogue is a perfect example of the concept - four track juicy techno EP from an undisclosed artist. From dreamy pads of N_1 that start the trip, through hypnotized and trance-like states of N_2 and N_3 to tense groove of N_4 the author takes no prisoners and delivers crisp, rich sounding collection of tracks that will light up every party.
