»Playing with Kris always reminds me of doing expeditions in a lake. Some kind of under water sound fiction observing sonic creatures. This album is a live recording (28-01-2012, Kunstencentrum Belgie, Hasselt, Belgium) which to me always felt like one of the best concerts we did. As with our previous album »Arrêt au Lac Chimère« Vincent de Roguin put his heart in editing and mixing the recordings, extending the dimensions of exploration to the deep bottom of the lake.« – Timo Van Luijk

I predict a great international career for him.“ Sein Repertoire umfasst eine Mischung aus klassischen Jazzstandards, zeitgenössischen Stücken und eigenen Kompositionen, die seinen persönlichen Stil unterstreichen. Neben seiner Musikkarriere engagiert sich van Aarssen auch in der Musikpädagogik und fördert junge Talente in der Jazzmusik. Im März 2025 erscheint sein aktuelles Album " Just call it Love" auf dem deutschen Markt, mit Titeln geschrieben von Maria Christensen, die u.a. für Céline Dion, Jennifer Lopez und Disney Productions Hits abgeliefert hat. Am Piano niemand geringerer als Jeff Franzel, der ihn auch auf seinen ersten Shows in Köln und Hamburg begleitet! Hier kommt ein junger Mann mit grossem Talent, der eine junge Zielgruppe für die Swingmusik begeistern wird.

Dutch talent Hidde van Wee is back with his first recent release on HOMEGRXWN - A captivating EP titled ‘Journey’, showcasing his love for house music with influences spanning UK Garage and Electro. On the A Side ‘Channel 4’ has a hypnotic, high-energy beat which amplifies dancefloors. ‘5th Avenue’ has naturally become a club favourite for artists such as ROSSI. And Chris Stussy. On the B Side ‘Early Riser’ uses a finely curated mix of drums to hook the crowd for a captivating drop. Finishing the EP with ‘Far Out’ is a dynamic closer with contrasting synths, keeping the energy flowing on the dancefloor. The EP has wider support from Voigtmann, Enzo Siragusa and many more.

Don Van Vliet is Captain Beefheart. 1000 only numbered 180 gram vinyl LPs gatefold sleeve purple vinyl. Sleeve design by legendary Led Zeppelin designer Steve Hardstaff (Jacuzzi). When Don Van Vliet sent these reels of tape to North West promoter Roger Eagle in the 1970s to make sure they got released in the UK they became stuff of legends.
