After some time fostering the birth of Melbourne/Naarm’s Solace Bar & Club, circuit|breaker returns with the last offering in our initial run of three Various Artists releases: CBRK003. As always, our focus is razor sharp on cultivating connection, between our home and the global artistic domain. With our third release, we bring you five of the boldest talents, both emerging and established, that are sure to set the standard for forward-thinking electronic music.

This new VA brings together four artists who explore the expressive potential of sound design and instrumentation. From Olivier Romero’s powerful wavey rhytms to Luise’s sequences and minimal percussion, each track unfolds with meticulous attention to detail. Maik Yells adds depth through layered pads and haunting harmonies, while OneKnock fuses rhythms and deep substructures into a hypnotic journey. This release is a deep dive into refined electronic craftsmanship essential for those who appreciate sound as texture and storytelling.

Welcome to the second edition of Era Specific Noise! This release sees the debut of three talented new artists to the label - there's nothing better than a good VA. With an audible sonic influence and shared appreciation for the originality and love poured into old-school techno, ESPN002 has something for every drum machine lover out there.

We kick things off with Toecruncher's track "Turnstyle", the first of two driving pieces of dancefloor-friendly techno that make up the A side. A classic 16th note bassline, strong percussion, and just the right amount of ear candy and ephemeral pads - this work practically mixes itself into your DJ set. The next output by label head Richardson "Situational Awareness" builds off this style and adds a growling, modulated synthline, a uniqueness which ensures its memorability and slot in your bag.

The clarity in production of B1 "Occhio per occhio" by Alfa Cornae is hard to put into words. There's a mountain of percussion in this hardgroove-inspired piece and yet, everything seems to have its own place - and those squelchy breakdowns don't hurt either. Rounding off the release is "Kintsugi" - a slamming, industrial yet ethereal piece by Andrea Crestani. We personally enjoy a release that tells a story, and this track has all the hallmarks and melancholy of an EP closer.

This Biscuit is built for the bold. Brimming with attitude, four trippy, hard-hitting productions. No filler here - every track a peak time head-turner.

Opening the A-side, we have France’s BOOH, co-founder of BOOOoo! Records. Seamlessly blending rich EBM, techno and electro influences, Hidden Between Two Ferns is an ever-evolving weapon, pulsating with intrigue and intensity.

A2 brings some straight-up electro business from Argentina’s Micro.Tron. Rhythm focused with a dark essence, Microclima Robot hits hard and commands attention.

At B1, the devastatingly epic Then I Dropped It, masterfully delivered by longtime label friend JJ Fortune. Signature sounds from this hugely talented artist.

Closing out this powerful piece of plastic, Vloon steps up with a growling, menacing electro weapon - raw and unrelenting.

As always, this is a strictly plastic affair. No digi release, not ever.

Auntie Flo finds a natural home for OUTERNATIONAL DANCE on Multi Culti Throughout his long career in music, Brian d’Souza aka Auntie Flo has made a name for himself for his adventurous and open minded approach to music making. Travel and collaboration is key to his work, and over the course of four albums and various singles, he’s showcased music made in Cuba, South Korea, Uganda, Brazil and more, often fusing long standing musical traditions, field recordings and artist collaborations with a modern production techniques. As Auntie Flo, he has bridged not only cultural gaps as a Scottish-Goan in hybrid genres like Afro-disco, Indian Classical and Dub-Techno, but recently crossed over into bioelectrical music, with his Plants Can Dance, Mushroom Music and full-blown ambient psychedelica all housed under his A State Of Flo label and Substack. Outernational Dance helps define this expansive sound with a set of tracks that brings dance culture back to nature, inspired by ‘Esperanto’, a form of universal language created by L. L. Zamenhof in 1887. The notion of music as the universal language has always been at the heart of Auntie Flo’s practise and makes this new EP a perfect fit for the boundary dissolving reverie of the Multi Culti ethos: pointing the way to a better world, borderless, free and in symbiosis with nature.

Marseille's own Durite, label helmed by FaF, returns with its second Various Artists compilation, diving deep into a two-part sonic journey. One side taps into the hypnotic rhythms and rich textures influenced by Middle East sonorities, while the other ventures into Asia, blending psychedelic Japanese & Chinese samples with a heady, trippy vibe.

On the roster: a trio of French talents — Crane de Poule, Blinkduus Dischetto, and Pagenty — plus a standout contribution from Italian producer Nativo, whose infectious grooves just keep getting sharper.

"All I Do Is Dreaming" is the band's third album.

A journey that takes you through various landscapes—gliding over electronic plains, climbing colorful pop hills, and occasionally venturing onto rugged indie rock trails.

Along the way, several encounters: a stop in Mexico with a remix by CLUZ, a collaboration in the UK with boundary-crossing indie artist Just Jack, and in the US with artist Pedro Blue.

Each release from the label follows a spiritual trajectory, inspired by the chakra system. This third EP is dedicated to the solar plexus chakra, symbolizing self-confidence, action, and connection to one's inner power. Its name, "Chiron Key", refers to the Chiron key in astrology, associated with healing deep wounds and resilience.

To continue the around the globe VA series “Untitled III” is here. As per usual 8 different artists with different musical backgrounds, inspired by different melodious influences which has resulted in this VA to take shape. All of the tracks featured on this double are in line with the label’s vision and demonstrate a vast range of sounds that can be used in many different settings. The art theme as always done by the legendary bad boy graffiti artist Gkoner, this time takes a theme of garden and its mysteries where he drew an inspiration from. The plants are overtaking giving their roots and even sometimes can absolutely capture and possess the host while trying to look so innocent. We know what you are up to plants and you cannot fool us.

Antwerp-based freaks City Suckers compose rythms on various hardware and vintage drumcomputers, with the use of fx-send, samples and sequencers. Progressing loop-based compositions, layering patterns into a painting of rhythms, bass and keys.

For the third episode of Komplices, JO SZT welcomes three new friends to the house — the incredibly talented artists Chuwee (US), Seb Hall (US), and Victor Benjamin (FR). Joining them is Atree, who was featured on the label’s very first EP. Komplices has always been driven by two passions: groove and emotion — and this new episode is no exception. You’ll once again find those signature vibes that define the spirit of the label.

Analog Africa doesn't do anything other than special releases really, but this one tracing the label's origins back to Zimbabwe over 20 years ago is a real standout. A carefully curated collection of 25 tracks with a fine booklet proving plenty of extra context, it captures the birth of the country's modern music scene and brims with the creative sound explosion of the 70s and 80s. Before genres were fully defined, artists blended rock, rumba, soul and traditional rhythms in bold, experimental ways that still stand up and get diggers and dancers excited in 2025. Included are never-before-released tracks from Thomas Mapfumo, Oliver Mtukudzi and more and they all add up to rich and dynamic snapshot of Zimbabwe's peerless musical evolution during what was a transformative era.

Following on from the celebrated first instalment, the second part of The Male Body Will Be Next compiles an entourage of daring sonic experiments, composed in response to bell hooks’ landmark book The Will to Change. Prompting artists and musicians to envision cross-gender solidarity, Osàre! Editions founder Elena Colombi presents an enrapturing, narrative album, conceptualised around collective transformation.

Resonating with hooks’ challenge to men to reclaim the sensitivity that patriarchy denies them, the name of the record arises from a photograph by Peter de Potter and Rebecca Salvadori’s film of the same title. In these depictions, naked flesh is exposed, made vulnerable and trembles with emotion as the fragility of masculine bodies are examined through the queer and female oppositional gaze. Transforming this visual language into musical expression, The Male Body Will Be Next swirls with punk vitriol, electrified noise, acid, electro and free-wheeling encounters charged by love, lust and limerence.

Gently plunking chords signal Pose Diva’s reimagining of lover’s rock before Sissy Fuss smashes in with a heavy-weight instrumental version of their erotic anthem ‘No Restraint’.
Made up of Turkish musician Etkin Çekin and Belarussian songstress Galina Ozeran, God is God delivers a gentle lullaby, while Low End Activist flirts with dark and brooding bass, shattering penetrating frequencies into luminous fragments. Riffing off the 2020 documentary about female early electronica pioneers, Loma Doom crafts a slowly oscillating drone zenith, the ultimate climax. In line with the conceptual underpinning, there are plenty of collaborations – Daytripper’s Riva and Sitar player Tommy Khosla, Lebanonese experimentalist N R and Swiss-French producer John Silvestre (AKA Typhon), as well as Colombi herself and trans author/activist Juno Roche. Within these partnerships, new modalities come alive as mediums, practices and perspectives are ignited and pushed in otherworldly, metamorphic directions.

After 20 years of pumping out booty bumping music and wild parties, San Francisco dance label and nightlife culture creators, Dirtybird, have released their first commemorative vinyl box set, the Dirtybird Hand Picked Box Set, Volume 1. With many of the tracks being hand-picked fan favorites - from artists Claude VonStroke, FISHER, John Summit, and Get Real to longtime label legends Sacha Robotti and Walker & Royce, as well as newer faces like VNSSA, Nala, and Nikki Nair - the box set covers a wide range of tracks that have created life-changing memories and moments for fans over the years and across the world, with many of the tracks receiving the vinyl treatment for the very first time. The International Archives of Popular Music (AIMP), affiliated with the Ethnographic Museum of Geneva (MEG), is a label and collection dedicated to the preservation of world music. Founded in 1944 by musicologist Constantin Brăiloiu, it gathers over 18,000 recordings, from wax cylinders to digital formats. AIMP releases albums and collaborates with artists such as Midori Takada, exploring the connections between sound archives and contemporary creation. Through these projects, the label preserves and reinterprets musical traditions on a global scale.
