After an extensive catalog of digital deep, minimal and tech house releases, Mole Music makes its debut in the realm of vinyl with a fresh selection of dancefloor weapons from a fine array of artists, each offering their unique takes on deep house, tech, and minimal sounds. The A-side kicks off with JHNS "Nevermind", a minimalistic, low-end heavyweight groove driven by rubbery drums and a tight bassline. Steve End & Colau follow with a silky late-night hypnotic track, while El Funkador closes the A-side with an uplifting, drum-shuffling deep house cut, complete with funky synths and chord progressions. On the B-side, "Night Strobe", a collaboration between Alben, LAJE, and Erratic, brings a retro-futuristic feel with a fast-paced, garage-tinged vibe. This sets the stage for HOT DLVRY's "Friction", a thumping deep groove led by spacious chords and keys, all anchored by an analog bassline. To round off this well-balanced compilation, Craftsmanship delivers a warm, humid deep house sound featuring bold chords and punchy drums - one of the defining motifs of this standout EP.

Yet More already made waves with his track Erotic Trip, released as part of our Secret Weapons series back in 2023. What we particularly appreciate about his productions is his approach to groove and the influence of classic House Music vibes. The first track of the EP is a true groover, with pitched sample pieces that give the track the necessary depth and justify its name, 'Bounce.'

With Tryna Jack My Style, the pace picks up, becoming more driving and leading into piano chords that give the track its distinctive character, promising more excitement as we move to the final track, Back 2 Feelin’, the lead track of the EP. With its rhythm and a catchy synth hook that recalls the feel of Oni Ayun's classic tune (remember!?), it is stripped down and refined to its essence—a true highlight of the EP.

Y’KNOW returns to Spiritual World on October 4th with Why Now, an 8 track 12” that is so stacked with groove that you can physically feel the claps when you run your hand over the record.

Why Now lifts the fog established on the duo’s digital 2023 two-song debut, pushing their signature beat forward minimalism into digital dancefloor soundscapes. Following in the tradition of dub records, Why Now features four vocal cuts on the a-side backed with four reimagined and stripped back dub versions on the b side.

Lyrically, Bally takes on the narrative of a detective in search of the perfect groove, even if it ultimately leads to their own fictional demise. Y’KNOW is clearly in pursuit of the perfect vibe, and while doing so exceeds the imagination of most traditional guitar-based bands with a mesmerizing mix of dub, post-punk and synth pop.

Kicking things off on Toolroom’s next 4-track vinyl sampler series is Mark Knight’s hugely successful rework of Groove Armada’s seminal classic ‘Get Down’. Considered one of the holy-grail records of their back catalogue so it’s an absolute honour for us, and Mark Knight, to be re-presenting this incredible record to a new audience. Fusing those unique vocals from Stush and classic Groove Armada synth line, coupled with the energy and insatiable groove of a Mark Knight record, this is a sure-fire dance floor weapon for 2024! Next up are a fan favourite of the label, the mighty duo Illyus & Barrientos who make their long overdue return with ‘When You Gonna’. Tracks such as ‘Shout’, ‘Promise’ and most famously, ‘So Serious’, propelled them to be one of the most exciting and sought after acts in the World. This record is trademark Illyus & Barrientos and reflects their personalities as artists perfectly. Think high energy house music filled with fun and peak-time dance floor vibes! Leading the charge on the b-side is an incredible collaboration from 2 heavyweight house artists, working together for the very first time! David Penn has a career spanning over 25 years. He was recently crowned the #1 house artist on Beatport and boasts over 1 million monthly listeners across leading streaming platforms. OFFAIAH appears on Toolroom for the first time in his career under this alias, although he was a firm part of the original Toolroom Family line up as Michael Woods. So this is a SPECIAL ONE! The record screams sun-drenched terraces, pool parties and chilled cocktails! A huge bass line, infectious tribal vocals and some lush house pianos for good measure. Last but not least, Long-standing Toolroom Family member and fan favourite, Ben Remember returns to the label with ‘Waiting 4 You’. As with all of Ben’s records, this is super creative and super original. TRANCE ATLANTYK is dropping some serious heat with the upcoming release of EARLY ZEROS, the latest EP from label founders PANKOFF & DJ VARIUS TRAX. After experimenting with some polish vocals on their “Sound of Poldon” debut EP, the duo serves us this time a modern high-energy tribute to the early 2000s—an era when progressive house and trance ruled the dance floors.

The EP kicks off with "Early Zeros," a track that’s pure nostalgia wrapped in a slick, modern package. Think of it as a sonic time machine, zooming you back to those legendary nights when the bass was thumping, and the vibe was electric. It’s got that uplifting, feel-good energy that’s impossible to resist.

Next up is "Schemes," a track that’s as deep as it is groovy. This one’s all about the journey, with layered beats and hypnotic rhythms that build and evolve, taking you on a ride through the trippy side of progressive house and early trance music. It’s got that classic, boundary-pushing vibe that’ll have you lost in the music.

On the B side the duo slows down the tempo with the track “We Can Rebuild Him” that pays homage to the 6 Million Dolar Man, one of Pankoffs favourite TV series. Piercing cascading synths, a driving bass line and some breakbeat percussion thrown into the mix make this one a great choice for the eclectic dj’a out there.

And just when you think it couldn’t get any better, Bliss inc steps in with a remix of "We Can Rebuild Him" that flips the script in all the right ways. This remix increases the tempo of the chuggy original and transfoms the track into a stomping peak time banger that some might label as furious progressive tech trance.

As Freerange hits another landmark release with their 300th EP we see label head Jimpster join forces with Philippa who together deliver 3 original tracks which epitomise the labels’ sound over the past (almost) three decades.

With recent releases appearing on Slothboogie and Razor n Tape, remixes for Roach Motel on Faith, and James Curd and Robert Owens on Pronto, not to mention her recent Panorama Bar debut, it’s safe to say Philippa is making waves. The Berlin-based New Zealander has a sound all her own with an organic, deep and musical style winning her many fans from Terry Farley and Aroop Roy to DJ Spen and Dave Lee.

Lead track All I Wanted sees the duo pooling their influences with both producers sonic touches shining through. Chunky drums and bassline are the bedrock for pulsing synths and MON’s vocal which is chopped up and looped bringing a rolling momentum to the track.

Dreaming features the wonderful vocals of Care and goes on a floaty vibe with chiming synths and crusty Rhodes keys layering up to produce a densely textured track. The mood is powerful yet subtle and refined and will work as nicely on a chilled house playlist as it will on a discerning dance floor at 4am.

Closing out the EP we have Say What which goes on a jazzed out, UKG inspired excursion. Shuffling beats, bouncing square wave bassline and big brash synth chords all combine to form a track which sounds both retro and contemporary.

Time to Play is pleased to introduce the fifth chapter of its catalog, titled
Midnight Love, created by the young Japanese talent DJ Dreamboy. The main
track, which shares its name with the EP, serves as a true manifesto of
Japanese deep house: minimal, intense, balanced, and dreamy. It’s no
coincidence that this track was chosen by Brazilian producer Zopelar for a
tough and driving remix.
The B-side opens with “Vibe,” which starts with a minute of suspended
ambience before unleashing a burst of kicks and acid arpeggios that ignite a
contagious euphoria. “Dream Town” follows in a similar vein, maintaining a
softer profile akin to Midnight Love. The EP closes with “My House Style,” a
high-speed journey through nocturnal Tokyo, featuring deep basslines, dreamy
atmospheres, a relentless rhythm, and an irresistible desire for the experience
to never end.

Body Mechanic has been turning out definitive Motor City techno on solid labels like Cryovac, and GASS for several years. This time out he lands-on Detroit Techno and serves up, well, some electro. It's classic 313 tackle though - heavy on the kicks, snappy snares and filthy dirty basslines that make you want to move. Ghoulish vocals add extra grit to the opener and from there 'Dance' gets more playful with jittery drum funk and scratching, 'Beautiful Bum' has a gorgeously tender and reflective vibe thanks to the minor chords and smooth electro rhythms, 'Magic (feat Tay) ' slips into a deep and soulful house groove and 'Househead' is jacked up, loopy and well swung amongst several more timeless cuts. All in all, a killer double 12".

Matching breezy, Bossa nova-tinged sophistication with softly spiralling psychedelia, Testbild! arrive in the Quindi lounge as though they've always been there. On their 12th album, Bed Stilt, the Swedish collective cast their attention back to the earlier days of their 25-year trip through sweetly mysterious pop-not-pop rendered in warm tones and shot through with surrealism. It's tricky to get a precise fix on the story and structure of Testbild! The project was spearheaded by Petter Herbertsson in his hometown of Malmö in the late 90s, although the story on their website credits the inspiration and source material to a chance meeting and unpublished manuscript from a retiring scientist. The collective's evolution since then is a tangled web of facts and fiction spun by a revolving cast of collaborators including Siri af Burén, Katja Ekman, Rikard Heberling, Douglas Holmquist, Mattias Nihlén and Petter Samuelsson. Along the way, their music has touched on chamber pop, post-punk and modern jazz with the elaborate harmonies and catchy songwriting charm of the Canterbury scene. The tracks which make up Bed Stilt were in fact track recorded in Malmö back in the mid- 00s, lying in wait for the right opportunity to be brought to light with some delicate overdubs and finishing flourishes in the here and now. The core musicians working on the record were Herbertsson and Douglas Holmquist on a similarly expansive list of vocals, guitars, bass, synths and keys, Siri af Burén on lead vocals and Mattias Nihlén on synths and additional mixing. Meanwhile Tomas Bodén - better known as Civilistjavel - lent some additional synth work as well as mastering the record. Musically, Testbild! stay true to their idiosyncratic approach on Bed Stilt with six immaculately rendered sojourns through lilting harmonies and brushed rhythms, feeling nostalgic but beguiling in equal measure. Theirs is a luxurious sound, not least on the opening strains of 'The First New Years Eve,' which purrs to life draped in silky Rhodes and chiming vibes. Behind this comfortable veneer the enigmatic lyrical themes unfurl through Herbertsson, Holmquist and af Burén's vocal harmonies like fractalized puzzles waiting to be solved. The finger-picking delicacy and languid harmonica of 'Streams' strike a pastoral mood neatly countered by the elegant slide into dislocated ambience for the track's final stretch. By contrast, 'And Her Eyes Are Red' surges with a big beat urgency which plays beautifully with the mellow jazziness of the chord sequences, boldly toying with song structure to dart down curious tangents without losing the immediate impulse of a great pop record. Somewhere in this tension between clarity and chaos we can understand the addictive charm of Testbild! - a band steeped in the considerable craft of making accomplished and unconventional music so very easy to sink into. If that doesn't make for a perfect addition to the Quindi catalogue, we don't know what does.

Missing returns on his Sub System Recordings label with some 80’s inspired vibes. Keeping the presentation on the 80’s tip we have opted to press this on a fluorescent pink 10”.

Fugitive is Dave Wallace from Aquasky, dusting off his old alias that he used to record under on Underdog Recordings back in 1994. Digging deep for some 80s licks, while rolling out the beats! Watch that drop! On the flipside M-Beat returns to the label for a proper remix on that 94 tip.

Season by season, we raise a toast to our artists and guests by creating a new collection of sounds. Cafe Soda Selects Volume One captures all the memories of the past year. The A-side starts with Crymes . The track captures the essence of summer with its vibrant dub rhythms and sultry 90s vibes, featuring irresistibly sexy vocals that embody pure feel-good energy. A2 sets the stage for Ben Balances , a vibrant track that seizes the eclectic energies of people, weaving together dynamic rhythms and the deep essence of souls. It is a musical journey that celebrates the unique spirit and rhythmic soulfulness inherent in us all. On the flip, check out the two originals from FMN, the latest project by Frag Maddin and Najeh. is a catchy groove that easily grabs every dancer with its rolling bassline. The song has no breaks, allowing ravers to stay in trance. With , B2 celebrates a raw house anthem with a memorable theme, thick kick, banging clap, and a wild hi-hat swing. An homage to the 90s powerhouse era.

Lucky number seven arrives on our Prozpektiva series and for this record we turn to Cyan85. To date more so known for his electro-breaks sounds and although is technically not a new and up & upcoming artist we are happy to present a new sound which sees the producer turn to House Jams only on this record, serving a variety of vibes from dreamy to creepy, over funky to stumpy.

Dr Packer and Michael Gray have teamed up to create a fresh, new rendition of the 80’s funk and soul hit “Ricochet” by the BB&Q Band. Staying true to the original 80s version, which was produced by Kae Williams Jr. under the mentorship of the legendary Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, this collaboration preserves the song’s integrity while infusing it with a modern edge. The beats are crisp, the groove is infectious, and the bassline exudes funky vibes. With the addition of staccato strings, the resulting disco house jam is nothing short of sensational.

This is the first 12“ of the new Move D - “Recurrent Recollections“ series. “Something ’Bout The D“ is featuring three previously released tracks, that only ever appeared on Various Artists compilations on different record labels - from Fred P’s Earth Tones Vol. 1, via Russ Gabriel’s Ferox label to Lowtec’s Out to Lunch imprint. Now for the first time on Source Records, this 12“ kicks off with Aspiration 2010, a subtle and slow building Deep Acid House track evolving across the entire side A. On the B-side the title track “Something ’Bout The D“ takes the vibe back to 90s oldschool Detroit inspired house music - spiced with some 909 euphoria, some uplifting chords and a technoid, abstract but soothing melody. Closing out the 12“ on B2 is the much beloved and hard to find Move D contribution to Out To Lunch’s “Airbag Craftworks Vol. 2“ compilation “Marshmellow Boots“. A hypnotic and bouncing hookline is transformed over surrounding synth stabs and dubs. A subdued fluffy little groover in a typical Move D trademark fashion.
