It's been a while since we last had an all-Polish collaboration as part of a single release, but here we are! And what a collab it is! We're bringing to you two of our long-time favourites - Mateusz Dudzinski aka SNIK and Piotr Kalinski aka Hatti Vatti. The occasion? Well, we don't want to spoil too much but there some fresh stuff by SNIK on the horizon, and to shake things up a bit, we decided to release Hatti Vatti's remix of SNIK's track that will be available as part of something bigger in some time first.
The track is called "Absence", but the title is actually a lie - you'll find no absence of solid jungle vibes, riveting synth samples, dubby basslines, and classic vocal bits spread across the entire track. Think autonomic blended with modern-day jungle and you'll get the idea.

Beijing based Leele, Tokyo based S.O.N and Detroit transplant Camille has come together to give you something soothing from Adeen records. Their debut live studio album A Band Of Brothers is a nice warm welcome from the label that's known for house and techno. The late 70's early 80's Japanese fusion jazz influenced offering is split into two discs with one being all jazz, and disc two being remixed into breezy house tracks. The decade of the 80s is revived through recordings like "Eyes" that allow you to travel through the music and trigger those old emotions of innocence, joy and adventure. It's possible you don't understand a word of what they're singing in the chorus, but the song is very catchy! Maybe not even Maria Chiara Perugini knows what she sings about, but she makes you hang on to every word of her like a nursery rhyme of synths, beach and bubblegum. "Eyes" is so amazing, so mesmerizing and more and more people are discovering this italo-disco masterpiece that usually satisfies and makes fun of you at the same time. If you try playing it at 75% speed gives a hypnotic vapor wave vibe! And even more, the song would have fit well in the dance club scenes from Scarface. Beyond the words - difficult to find a text that makes sense, sometimes out of context, unundestandable even for a French listener - the piece is so surprisingly likeable for the unique tone of Clio's voice, a strange cross between teenager and adult, and the part where she spoke another language, with some really cool synthesizers, are people's favorite parts. 0:31 "Je suis bien heureuse" , 0:47 "La nuit a ses merveilles", 0:57 "Il y a de quoi y perdre la tete, pour toi, sha, pour toi", 1:36 "Je n'ai plus de bulles", 1:52 "Je vous prie applaudissement". "Eyes" by Clio contains all the emotions that a dance-pop song should contain plus the essential element of mystery, a kind of magic that takes place between the chorus and the bass line, a shot in the dark drizzly night of the Italo-Disco. made by Roberto Ferrante, a guarantee for the perfect productions of the 80s, when he was only 20 years old.

The third vinyl release from Seattle/LA imprint Rhizome Records comes from label cofounder Kristijan Risteski aka Kinjo. Previous productions from Kinjo include a single on sublabel Rhizome Forms and a 3-track release on SF’s P.U.N.C.H.I.S. With his first vinyl pressing, Kinjo perfects a signature deep vibe while recruiting the talents of Uruguay’s Z@p and Romanian Dragomir for a pair of remixes.
“Marxian” rolls out a techy percussive architecture along with the alluring yet dissonant call of dystopian synths. The subsurface layers crackle and shift, revealing a never-ending array of sophisticated effects.
Z@p provides the remix on side A, wasting no time to transform the original with his moody yet playful excavation. An expertly crafted electro pulse supercharges the alluring tones of the original to unleash a dance floor ready weapon.
Side B features a long form remix treatment by Romanian minimal technician Dragomir. At over 13 minutes, Dragomir’s interpretation extends the original’s chemistry across a vast landscape, carefully examining each element. A deeply psychedelic gem, the Dragomir remix synthesizes afterhours aesthetics with the dark side of jazz.

Just mention 'Terrace' in a techno environment and soon someone else will shout "pioneer!" As Florence, Terrace and (half of) Acid Junkies, Brabant-based producer Stefan Robbers was at the flying centre of Dutch techno in the early 1990s.
Perks is Robbers' fifth EP for Delsin in a relatively short time. On the one hand, it contains his signature sound: melancholic melodies and complex drum patterns wrapped in outstanding production; on the other, Perks surprises on many fronts. For starters, the overall vibe is a lot more sombre, the chosen route much more experimental. Take 'Model A', a dreamy, 12 minute-long meandering epic that nods to the kraut-infused electronica of Tangerine Dream and Cluster but at the same time proudly carries the techno DNA. A fascinating return of a true pioneer.

On this second delivery of Uruguayan Sound, Mephis presents us with two like-minded producers with a love for machines and their sound.
On the A side we have Elias Sternin, with his particular nostalgic, mysterious and trance-inducing sound. The EP opens up with Wah Wah y Phaser, evoking the feeling of a spaceship lifting off, into the big Other. Bass rolls into the stratosphere, whilst sharp and poignant synths push us past the space rubble that surrounds our planet. The second Track is a proper mood work, landing us in an uncharted yet familiar alien landscape. You can breathe the mystery in, whilst closing your eyes and embracing the unknown.
On the B side we continue travelling through a path of esoteric and questioning vibes. Artesano Titer delivers an ominous mind trip with Science to Music, an utterly mesmerising soundscape to question yourself and your Umwelt. Closing off the EP, we have White Rabbit, a profoundly narcotic trip to the centre of our own perception. Slides, breaks, smooth lines and an acidic bass that spiral down to the core of the self.

This unpredictable playlist spans genres, from Golden Science’s buzzy boom bap to Jon Doppler’s sub shaking hardcore, with layers of analog goodness that seem to glow with the first days of rave. Electronic music veteran Proswell contributes a real viber, replete with growling basslines and bells. Round it out with a sprawling, spastic workout from Sweden’s A Stantz (Peel MD) and you have a chronicle that would fit perfectly in the collection of fans of early Warp Records, Tobacco, and millennium era Merck Records. Tapping into the seductive unease of the unexplained, Modula lands on Tartelet Archives with Paranormal Phenomena – The Icelandic Expedition, a nine-track album that evokes alien synth- electro and New Age soundscapes.
During a trip to Iceland in February 2020, Naples native Filippo Colonna Romano (Modula) experienced the raw power of the island’s otherworldly natural forces. Inspired by his field recordings and a rekindled interest in sci-fi, Paranormal Phenomena – The Icelandic Expedition was born. Steeped in haunting LA synthesis and cinematic tension, the album is an imagined soundtrack to a supernatural thriller, cast in the icy tones of the Roland JD-800.
“When I went to Iceland I was so excited about the ambience and sounds,” says Modula. “I felt everything was stronger than normal; the wind was brutal, the waves fast and noisy. I came to the conclusion that what I had captured all sounded strangely eerie and otherworldly. I decided to compose music that had the same vibe as the field recordings – cold and strange, mysterious and alien.”
The album includes nine tracks each representing a scene in the “movie” ranging from alien synth-electro to New Age ambient moods and soundscapes, inviting the listener on a journey through cold landscapes and into dark caves where unknown creatures lurk in the shadows. Paranormal Phenomena leads logically on from Modula’s previous work for Bordello A Parigi and Firecracker, not to mention his Alba – Tempesta – Notturno EP on Tartelet Records which drew on field recordings from the jungles of South America. Merging extreme environments with a rich palette of classic outboard gear, Modula’s music transports listeners through space and time. Given the heavy motion-picture theme present in Paranormal Phenomena – The Icelandic Expedition, the album is a fitting release to inaugurate Tartelet Archives, a new sub-label to Tartelet Records focusing on electronic obscurities and sounds from the past.

Vincentiulian is the kind of name that needs no introduction. He is one of the best-known DJs and producers from the famous Romanian scene, and his evolution throughout the years tells its own story. He has played alongside the biggest names in the industry, shared the decks with household DJs like Priku, Rhadoo, or Cezar, and played the most important festivals out there.
His Subbass EP on Vivus Records cements his aura even more as a wonderful producer.
The opening track, Works, kicks things off wonderfully and subtly. It’s certainly a perfect track for the warm-up moments in the club, but its intricate background noises add a lovely layer of complexity as the track goes on.
Then we head off in a different direction: At Chalet is a much stronger track with an imposing bassline that dominates the sound and perfectly complements the mysterious vocals.
The titular track, Subbass, has a natural futuristic vibe and feels like a
ready-made club banger. The spacey atmosphere is something that only adds charm to it. The Tobias Laun Remix is a more chill but equally powerful way to end this mesmerizing EP, with Tobias showing his prowess at adjusting the pace just at the right rhythm for the dancefloor. The strong bass complements superbly with the sublime background noises to make this the perfect last chapter.
