Operating at the nexus of future jazz, beatific electronics and deft house, Quiroga (Walter Del Vecchio to his nearest and dearest) has carved his own irresistible niche over the past two decades, gracing countless labels with nuanced body movers and forging his impressive Really Swing imprint, the original home to this melodic masterpiece. Tucked away on Del Vecchio's 2020 EP "Chords and Desire", the sunny and sultry Snaporaz fell foul of our communal pandemic preoccupation, missing out on the widespread acclaim, appreciation and ass-shaking it so richly deserves. Archeo steps in as patron, giving this Rhodes-led jazz-house heater the full 12" treatment it was born for. On the A1, Quiroga's extends the ecstasy of "Snaporaz", stretching its original elements into a loosely grooving, dopamine-deep delight. Sunkissed keys and tender pads ride the rhythm of a bubbling bassline while the sophisticated percussion snaps, crackles and pops in the background - the perfect environment for the P&P leadline to flourish. If that wasn't enough to have you slipping straight into your party pumps, Walter makes the most of the extra runtime with a HOT hand drum freakout down the final stretch, adding the most enticing icing to an already heady cake. A comparative cooldown follows in A2 offering "Escorpião", a fusion-tinged flirtation for aperitivo everywhere. Cutting back on the kick to save space for the swing, Quiroga leads us through a sublime sequence of hooks, riffs and solos, without ever overwhelming the ears but keeping the groove alive. It's a dizzying delight from start to finish and features one of the finest keytar and cowbell interplays you're likely to hear. The B-side belongs to the frankly legendary Francesco de Bellis, a house, disco, Italo and electro hero, appearing here under his deliciously downbeat alias L.U.C.A. Imbuing Quiroga's original with the atmospheric stylings of his Edizioni Mondo oeuvre, the Roman producer delivers a radical rework, slowing the tempo by 20 bpm and translating those jazzy tones into a drifting new age dancer for the cosmic crowd. Zero gravity rhythms meet mystical melodies uptown as the house hippies get down. Brand new Manchester imprint, 160 Street Recordings is excited to announce its first vinyl release, Evolutions EP, by the dynamic production duo of Response and Buda. With a reputation for carving out a distinctive uncompromising sound, the pair return with a gritty, dark collection of tracks that channel the deep, raw energy of early 90s Jungle and Jungle Techno.
Drawing influences from the breakbeat-driven sub-bass and atmospheric elements of that era, the Evolutions EP fuses heavy basslines, classic breaks, and dark, rave-inspired energy.

B1. Fintons Dub (Double 0 Remix)
No introduction is needed for Double 0, co-founder of legendary London club night Rupture and one of the pioneering figures of the original Hardcore Jungle Techno sound. His remix of ‘Fintons Dub’ takes the track back to his Doncaster warehouse roots, unleashing thunderous bass and breakbeat energy, a twisted mentasm and techno infused stabs. A true dancefloor weapon that embodies the true spirit of Jungle Techno.
B2. Acid Vein
Rounding off the e.p. is ‘Acid Vein’ a 303 led breakbeat bomb that infuses rolling breaks with a pounding sub bass and haunting jazz samples. Slower in tempo than the previous tracks and more reminiscent of the more formative years of rave, Acid Vein will also appeal to the wider breakbeat community.

Back in 2014, the story was first whispered; A mythical jaunt set to a motorik rhythm, played out in an overgrown forest of ideas: Jane Weaver’s ‘The Silver Globe’ was a conceptual delicacy – “a synth-ridden post-apocalyptic prog-pop opus based on tightly embroidered, non-linear recurring themes inspired by esoteric stories, cosmic imagery and re-filtered past experiences”. Since those heady beginnings, our heroine has time travelled to darker times and been celebrated for her glorious ‘Modern Kosmology’ (top album of 2017, here, there, everywhere).

Doris Brendel & Lee Dunham take an unexpected yet electrifying turn into the world of Blues with their latest album, Big Blue Sky. Known for her powerhouse vocals and genre-defying style, Brendel—who recently won the HRH Prog Angel Award 2024—delivers 13 beautifully crafted Blues tracks that blend raw emotion, soulful melodies, and top-tier musicianship. Tone Def were one of the original batch of artists to sign to Moving Shadow back in 1991, who brought there early demos into the studio with label head honcho Rob Playford, releasing 4 records on the label between 91-92. At the same time Rog from the band was also building speakers and installing club and free party sound systems. His skills were unchallenged and he soon went on to be one of the top speaker/system makers in the UK, if not the world with his company Void Acoustics.

But not all the band’s music from back then ended up on Moving Shadow … some of it was lost to ¼” tape and forgotten about until 2019 when Vinyl Fanatiks reached out to the band, being that we are all Bournemouth based. Rog dug out the tapes and went through them, finding many tracks which have been released on Vinyl Fanatiks and sister label Acid Boom.

This is the final chapter of the lost tapes – two tracks written in 1992, finally getting a release after 31 years!

House of Gold & Bones – Part 1 is the fourth studio album by American rock band Stone Sour. It is the first Stone Sour album without bass player Shawn Economaki, who left the band in 2012, his studio replacement was Rachel Bolan from Skid Row. Musically, Corey Taylor also described the album's sound as "Pink Floyd's The Wall meets Alice in Chains' Dirt". House of Gold & Bones – Part 1 was released on October 22, 2012 and debuted at number 7 on the Billboard 200 music album charts. The album has sold just under 130.000 copies in the United States alone and got raving reviews all over the globe. The album hasn't been available on vinyl for over 10 years and is now available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on gold coloured vinyl and includes a 4 page booklet.

Hey, hard rock and metal fans—ready for another classic, early ‘90s album that never before made it to vinyl here in the States? Did we hear you say “Yeah!?” Then may we present Tyketto: Don’t Come Easy! This is another great, rockin’ record that got lost in the grunge craze that swept the music industry, and, just like our recent reissue of Wildside’s Under the Influence, it’s the debut release from a band that should have blown up much bigger than they did. You no doubt remember their single “Forever Young;” but the rest of the album offers melodic hard rock of the highest order, especially on tracks like “Burning Down Inside” and the power ballad “Standing Alone.” Excellent vocal work from former Waysted frontman Danny Vaughn, too. Remastered for vinyl by Mike Milchner at Sonic Vision…teal with white swirl vinyl, complete with printed inner sleeve!

DEINE COUSINE alias Ina Bredehorn muss magnetisch sein, anders kann man es nicht erklären. Was vor einigen Jahren noch in schimmligen Clubs in den schlechten Ecken der Stadt stattfand, passiert heute in ein paar der größten Spielstätten des Landes. Und das alles aus eigener Kraft, ohne Majorlabel, Riesen Budgets oder mediale Überpräsenz. Mit unendlicher Power auf und abseits der Bühne zieht DEINE COUSINE immer mehr Familienmitglieder in ihren Bann, die mit "Freaks" ein Album randvoll mit neuen Hymnen geliefert bekommen.

Die neuen Songs behandeln kollektive Emotionen - mal im big picture, mal anhand von persönlichen Episoden erzählt - und vermitteln ohne Plattitüden ein Gefühl von Zusammengehörigkeit, das auf Geschlecht, Sexualität, Religion oder sonstige, verstaubte Rahmen scheisst. Goed nieuws voor punkfans en nostalgische herrieschoppers: BLPRecords brengt de eerste twee LP's van Belgian Asociality opnieuw uit! De legendarische albums 'Belgian Asociality' (1989) met nummers als Boederie, Miep Miep en Keerbergen en 'Astamblief' (1991, met klassiekers als Bompa Punk, Jupiler Reggae en Stagedive zijn opnieuw verkrijgbaar op vinyl, allebei in een beperkte oplage van 500 exemplaren op gekleurd vinyl.

Gewapend met snedige teksten, genadeloze riffs en een onmiskenbaar Belgisch gevoel voor absurdisme, groeide Belgian Asociality uit tot een van de meest iconische en eigenzinnige punkbands van het land. Met hun unieke mix van punk, hardcore en maatschappijkritische humor schopte de meest asociale punkband van Belgë vanaf eind jaren '80 keihard tegen de schenen van de muziekscene. De groep onstond in 1988 in Mechelen en Keerbergen en is tot op heden een band met een stevige live-reputatie. Belgian Asociality is nog steeds zien op de Belgische concert - en festivalpodia.

Mit dieser Veröffentlichung erzählt j-hope von seinen bescheidenen Anfängen als Teil einer Street Dance Crew und den Weg zu BTS.
