12th Isle ready the first of many new releases after a break over the first half of 2025. Radx is a new collaborative endeavour between label artists X.Y.R. and Vlad Dobrovolski (½ of S A D) exploring a shared appreciation of vintage 80s & 90s synthesisers, ambient-adjacent furniture music and, er, dragons. Referencing the electronica of artists such as Kim Cascone/Hydrosphere as well as the sci-fi literature of Michael Swanwick where dragons act as living machines, the pair combine various synthesis models, pedals and samplers for an album that sits somewhere firmly between each of their solo works. From the cathedralic ascension of ‘Heavenly Shepherd of Silence’ to the back-room bean bag swirls of ‘Ovgo’s Etheric Mind’ and dense, jungle-like humidity of ‘Liminal Space’, the more ambient-leaning end of the catalogue is built upon further.

Aer making everyone dance with "I'm Gonna Dance," Muzic Family Vs. Stylóo is ready to ignite the
dancefloors again with "Sweat," an adrenaline-fueled track that unites the tradi!on of Italo Disco with a
modern pop-dance sound.
At the helm of "Sweat" is Roberto Tura, one of the most influen!al producers in the Italian and
interna!onal dance scene. A key figure of 80s Italo Disco, Tura( has shaped !meless hits for ar!sts like Den
Harrow, Joe Yellow, Albert One, and Stylóo themselves, helping to define the sound of an era that s!ll
makes fans' hearts beat faster all over the world. With "Sweat," Tura( once again proves his ability to
merge the magic of those years with a modern, powerful sound, capable of winning over new genera!ons of
listeners and ge(ng everyone dancing.
By his side is Silvio Melloni, a top-level musician and arranger, who is now part of the historic band Ma"a
Bazar. Melloni brings his experience and musical sophis!ca!on to the project, cura!ng arrangements rich in
detail and nuance, where every element is calibrated to maximize the emo!onal and rhythmic impact of the
track. His ar!s!c sensi!vity perfectly matches Tura('s energy, crea!ng a winning combina!on of technique,
passion, and crea!vity.
The release of "Sweat" doesn't stop at the original version: two exclusive remixes are included to enrich the
project, promising to make the track explode on the most demanding dancefloors.
 Italoconnec"on Remix – The duo formed by Fred Ventura and Paolo Gozze( (aka Italoconnec!on)
transforms "Sweat" with their characteris!c touch: sonic elegance, pulsa!ng energy, and a refined
sound that blends dance-pop rhythms with the vibrant nostalgia of Italo Disco. It's an interpreta!on
that leaves no room for rest and pushes you to listen and move.
 A.P. Mono Remix – A.P. Mono infuses an 80s-flavored electro-disco soul: funk syncopa!on,
enveloping synths, and an irresis!ble groove. His reinterpreta!on turns the track into a true
energe!c vortex, perfect for making anyone who dances to it sweat.

Opening with "Long Life Death", a track that sets the stage with a cinematic soundscape in a classic Carpenter vibe. Picking up the tempo "Zarathustra Dance" takes you right into the golden age itself, its low slung beat and carefully sequenced lead line pushes an ever building tension designed to crack any dancefloor. The track with Massimiliano Pagliara, "Eternal Sunshine Of Solitary Mind", is one of the highlights, perfectly building around a catchy lead with tight arpeggio and sequenced acid. Leading us into the 2nd half of the record "Sadness Is The Only Way To Happiness" is a proto-trance beast, inspired by that period in the early 90s when Trance was less bright lights and big stages and more dark rooms and smoke filled spaces, an ever building progressive run of haunting vocals, rave stabs and rolling bass.

The formative years of Hunter Thompson’s music as Akasha System were seeded and shaped by the shrouded meadows and wet woodlands of the Pacific Northwest: Sea Glass, Shadow Self, Echo Earth, Geomind. But pandemic flux flipped the script, prompting a migration to the monsoon tropics of Tampa. Heliocene ushers in a fresh chapter in the Akashic record, recasting the project’s precision synergy of cellular melody, holographic pads, spiral tribalism, and eco-futurist swing for a new solar age.

The album’s eight songs were recorded across 2023 and 2024, inspired by explorations of the many sanctuaries hidden in Florida’s ragged paradise: singing towers, ancient grottoes, emerald lagoons. From vortex house (“Purity Vector,” “Sun Particle”) to mirage electronica (“Haunted Planet,” “Soma Totem”) to hand drum divination (“Terraform Dream”), the sides flow, glow, and gleam, dialed in but dreaming out, tracing radiant waves of the eternal now.

“This album is a meditation to experience where and when you are, fully and wholly, regardless of where the path leads.”

The landscapes of Orlan 19 resembled the dream of a mad cartographer: cliffs were floating above the surface, horizons were bending and vanishing into infinity, and energy vortices were flaring up beneath their feet in psychedelic patterns. The familiar laws of physics didn’t apply here — gravity shifted chaotically, and time flew with unpredictable intensity. As Spacelunch, absorbed in thought, stroked the ground which distorted like a mirage under his touch, Cat’s grumbling echoed simultaneously from the past and future:

— Doc, don’t you think we’re just walking in circles?
— No wonder. That’s how inverse modelling works. Every action we take reshapes the surrounding space.
— Can you explain it in simpler terms? There’s only one genius here.
— Ever heard of the Philadelphia Experiment?
— Of course! You know how much I love sushi rolls!
— Well, I set myself up for this predicament… Back in my university days, we experimented with magnetic fields trying to program them by thought. You get where I’m going, don’t you? The planet is reacting to our intentions. So, focus on visualizing the portal.

The confusion on Cat’s face gave way to a mask of detachment. Clusters of matter began to tremble pulling the threads of reality to their breaking point before finally forming a vortex. Having devoured as much as it could, the vortex snapped shut with a loud pop and dissolved in a blinding flash.

As the scene began to take shape, silhouettes emerged under the soft glow of a desk lamp, evoking an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. A worn desk and a small bed stood by the wall adorned with faded photographs, while the floor let out a gentle creak underfoot. The clearer the interior came to be, the more paralyzing the realization, and the more elusive the explanation for what had happened became.

— Holy…! Cat, are we looking at the same thing?
— Yeah, but… This can’t be real.

Spacelunch slowly approached the window and froze still. A single thought raced through his mind: “The only force strong enough to pull me this far… was love.”

Asphalt DJ returns to Oddysee with another intoxicating 4- track formula, titled “Double O”. Operating on a solo tip this time around, the Berlin-based producer further expands his sonic palette and offers a versatile collection of steamy club workouts geared towards various stages of dancefloor
functionality. The record seamlessly touches on seductive after-hours bounce, slices of late nite propulsion and flawless rhythmic explorations, while keeping firm footing in the 90 and 00’s sound spectrum. With an eye on the ongoing terror inflicted upon the Palestinian people, we (artist &
label) decided to donate all proceeds from this release to Save The Children - Gaza and West Bank Emergency.

The return of Roy Of The Ravers is always a moment for Emotional Response. Alongside, the infinitely heralded debut that was the 2 Late 4 Love EP in 2016 and the later Emotinium ’23 remixes, there has been the While Line Sunrise series examining the ambient, experimental electronics meets braindance techno releases that showcased lost archives from the late 90s to today, here reaching the 3rd installment with 2 EPs of more machine-driven acid funk.

Following the grand expanse of double LP White Line Sunrise II and its subsequent double pack follow up White Line Sunrise II.I (Le Roy Soliel), III (3) aims predominantly for the dance floor. The uplifting techno of opening Primavera Anjo and squelching TB303 of Plant Earth are premier Roy, hypnotic, percussive, psychedelic purity for the feet.

The flip allows head room for the mind, the deep chords and arpeggios of G-Force signal the vortex shift, before the cinematic, rolling breaks and double bass of Glass Knife sweep far and wide. Recording over 25 years ago, the changing time signatures highlight the influence of (modern) classical and even jazz on Roy, pulsing, permeating, and pushing his sound in the moment, music thought lost that is gladly now, again found.

Vortex 1 marks the next chapter in the Repetitive Rhythm Research series on Clone Records. Aleksi Perala dives deep into his unique sonic universe -?? unleashing a powerful collection of advanced rhythms. Precision-crafted patterns spiral into a mesmerizing vortex of sound, pulling you into new dimensions of rhythmic exploration. A signature experience from one of electronic musicâ??s most singular and prolific producers, known for the unique Colundi tuning system and a sound that has continually pushed musical boundaries since his early releases on Rephlex. Powerful tools for adventurous DJs and devoted braindancers alike.

Since launching in 2019, NuNorthern Soul’s Summer Selections series has become something of a must-check release for those seeking the sun-soaked pulse of the White Isle of Ibiza. It not only acts as a sampler for forthcoming digital-only EPs due for release over the summer season, but also a showcase for both established artists and label newcomers.

2025’s ‘selections’, the fifth in total, marks the popular series’ return after a three-year hiatus. Once again, it boasts six tracks, each taken from a forthcoming NuNorthern Soul EP, and touches on a variety of Ibiza-ready styles and sounds.

Up first are Manchester twosome Nightdubbing, who’s eponymous ‘Nightdubbing’ – first featured on their self-released 2023 debut album – is remixed by Archeo Recordings label boss Manu Archeo. He opts to brilliant blend slow motion electronic grooves and deep, warming bass with waves of ambient textures, eyes-closed melodic motifs and attractive lead lines.

George Koutalieries steps up next with the languid shuffle of ‘Seasons’, where imaginative vocalisation arrangements, mazy synth bass, calming acoustic guitars and cosmic electronics create a yearning afternoon delight, before label newcomer James E Burton combines pleasingly live-sounding drums and bass with picturesque electronics and the dreamiest of chords.

Next up is a teaser of what’s to come from recent signings Visions of Light, a fresh collaboration between Free Booter Lounge label founder Simon Sheldon and two of his artists, Muzka and Dan Dub Lounge. ‘The Mandela Vortex’ is a lightly dub-flecked Balearic shuffler rich in infectious hand percussion, meandering guitar solos, heady aural textures and echoing melodic motifs.

To draw the expansive collection to a close, we’re treated to two more yearning, picturesque and atmospheric treats. The first comes from another label debutant, Seafront International and Strictly Dub Records founder Saimon under the Roots Artefact alias. Deep, toasty and smothered in vintage effects, ‘The Big Calm Dubwise’ is a picture-perfect Balearic dub classic in the making.

Rounding things off is former Les Yeux Orange Contributor – and rising star of the French Balearic movement – Jilo, who gently takes us by the hand and leads us towards the dancefloor. Underpinned by a heavily electronic, nu-disco adjacent groove, ‘Shadow’s Tango’ is smile-inducing aural joy writ large – all huggable chords, Italo-house pianos, chugging bass and the most kaleidoscopic of chords. It provides a wonderfully uplifting conclusion to another fine collection of ‘Summer Selections’.

The Comfort’s sixth release comes from the Italian producer Cesare Muraca, aptly titled Calabrian Flow.

Spanning four tracks, the record maintains a fundamental structure and attitude towards the dancefloor: dynamic, immersive, and universally compelling. But as always, the devil is in the details. From the A-side to the B-side, these tracks traverse moods and emotional nuance with elegance, unfolding like a well-told story.

The title track, Calabrian Flow, is a hypnotic interplay of bleeps and enchanting melodies, walking the fine line between dramatic ambiguity and raw force. Cosmic Odyssey, on the other hand, carries a sense of urgency, shrouded in shadowy gloom yet punctuated by flickers of light—a delicate interplay of tension and fleeting luminescence.

On the B-side, the record embraces pure release. The cathartic and expressive energy of Dynamic Dance offers both freedom and propulsion, while Working balances maximalism on a blade’s edge. Cesare utilizes choral chants that reverse and morph, synthesizers that pulse like distant signals, vortex-like low-ends, and an extremely tight rhythm. The result stuns and pulls—lingering long after the kick fades out.

Headek Records returns with its second release, HDK-2: The Eyes of Goa – Syncrosonix EP.

This time, we dive deep into the hypnotic realms of Goa Trance with a truly special EP. Syncrosonix and Goagoa unfold across two tracks, each presented in two versions, making a total of four sonic explorations. Expect a perfect fusion between the raw essence of classic Goa Trance and the futuristic pulse of bleep-infused techno. Pulsating trance basslines intertwine with resonant synths, acid sequences, and shimmering bleeps, creating a mesmerizing vortex of energy. Let yourself be drawn into the infernal spiral of trance and lose all sense of time.

After his last Ep Paralyzed, Sciahri returns to Sublunar with his new project Pareidolia. Pareidolia is a project that blends the most groovy and immediate techno with the most futuristic and sophisticated, creating a mix of bangers that reflect the artist's current vision.

In the first part we move from the classic and effective sounds of 'Vortex' to the more direct and powerful sounds of 'Roven', then to the B-side with the floor-heavy track 'Infatuation' and finally to the dark and tribal sounds of 'Glow', which closes the EP.

The mysterious label Downtown Romeo Records is back with their signature trademark touch: melancholy and intensity. While the chuva de verao remix is a deep downtempo track with a hint of acid that pulls the listener in like a vortex, the ilusao dub pushes forward with an absolutely massive breakbeat tune. As usual, the record comes in a luxurious sleeve with embossed stamp and insert.

"Existences" is the highly anticipated first album by Neurocore, a talented French artist known for his thought-provoking compositions. This album is a culmination of years of introspection and exploration into the complexities of human existence. During the Covid lockdown, Neurocore found himself with the precious gift of time, allowing him to delve deep into his creative process and tackle profound questions through music.

Each of the 13 tracks on the album tells a story, evoking emotions and painting vivid sonic landscapes. The cover art, meticulously crafted by URRU, captures the essence of the album's concept - a mesmerizing blue vortex symbolizing the unknown and the powerful energy that draws us towards it.

The continued influence of these two artists on both our early raving days and now as a team working on providing you the most exciting, boundary-pushing tech wares is second to none. As you'll experience from the four jams constitutive of this unparalleled mindtrip of an EP, 'In The Years Ahead' is the living evidence the steadfastness of Parker and Bicknell's vision remains absolutely untouched. Zeroed in on taking ravers on an entrancing ride across pulsating corridors of whirring machine funk, sizzling acid and shape-shifting waves of sound, both sides of this EP share the best lot of both producers' uniquely innovative approach to rhythm and production.

Parker's opening cut, 'Solar Limb' is a textbook example of his complex, and heavily layered sound-design. An unflinching swing keeping time, brutal kicks punching holes in your head like giant steel hammers, the track may evolve slowly, repeating its post-industrial mantra over and over again, its flame doesn't flicker one iota. Switching onto red-level dance floor menace, 'Badlands' pulls out the heavy artillery: an overkill bombardment of puncturing 909 drums, vortical winds blowing in the back like some solar storm of sorts, and this ebb-and-flow of FX-drenched synth ripples branded on your cortex like odd signs of cult belonging. Bicknell's takeover starts with the rugged and wild 'Chaotic World', whose title is definitely not usurped. Enter a blazing maelstrom of frantic synth assault knocked askew, intense bass tectonic movements and smashing arpeggios on the path of war. The track develops a massive momentum, swelling from primordial raw matter into weirdly arranged modular constructions, like that of Kubrick's monolith emerging with ominous presence. 'In The Years Ahead' serves up a much distinctively elegant, glossy type of textural experience, synths playing pong in a hall of mirrors, interlacing and distorting as the percussive line unfolds its linear train-like groove. It dashes across landscapes of hypermodern glass and concrete with unrelenting horsepower, from techno's early sanctuary right up onto tomorrow's temple of unmapped potentialities.

This much special release, so dear to our heart, comes clad in a beautiful piece of design, and will be pressed to 180g audiophile quality vinyl for an enhanced listening experience.

The dub remix, by cont rast, plunges into a vortex where liquid acid intertwines with hypnotic bass lines, conjuring a dreamscape infused with laser guided drums and crystalline texture. Through these remixes, Moeller crafts a sonic voyage that weaves through the complex tapestry of the dub landscape and keeps reminding us that the territory is still vastly unexplored.
