Deep in Dis intl. proudly presents "SHAHRZAD" (DIDWAX001) by Parisian dj/producer Noiro. We are extremely gassed to showcase Noiro's eclectic and unique approach to club music with this 5 trax EP.

We start the journey with the highly experimental 'Kata Pulse', an intergalactic and powerful trip-hop influenced tune with a strong vocal game.

A2. 'Rude' follows the cosmic vibe perfectly with a bit more aggressive breakbeat but keeping a warm feeling at the same time. Where the b-boys at??

To wrap up the A-side, 'Aube Session' brings those mysterious and high cloud walker feelings. The dance floor is starting to get warm... crashy bells, dj scratches and twisted synth/bass lines turns on the auto pilot for what's to come flipping the record to the other side where Noiro depicts the rest of the story.

B1. '1F' is a club banger, structured around frenzy and hypnotic synths, solid drum patterns and an unflagging muffled bassline.

Closing the EP B2. 'Show Me' confirms it wasn't just fluke ladies and gentlemen, Noiro's distinctive and unique sound is here.

Electric Mud is the fifth studio album by Muddy Waters, with members of Rotary Connection serving as his backing band. Released in 1968, it imagines Muddy Waters as a psychedelic musician. Producer Marshall Chess suggested that Muddy Waters recorded it in an attempt to appeal to a rock audience. The album peaked at number 127 on Billboard 200 album chart. It was controversial for its fusion of electric blues with psychedelic elements.

Number 03 in the Dolly TS series is Italian techno wonderboy Rosati. 'First impression' has its own unique techno signature, raw energetic techno funk with a Detroit flavor directly from the machines. 4 straight up heavy groove hitters on this 4 track EP!!!

Nobody thinks it is strange anymore that an artist changes his nom de plume to reflect a new direction; a metamorphosis of his art. As listeners, we must resist the temptation to compare a new expression with previous works but instead allow the artist the necessary leeway to follow where his muse leads. So it is with Lone Wolf & Friends. There is a departure from his previous work that is his alone to define. We are simply recipients and must let the work wash over us like waves on the beach and be slightly moulded by the force of each one.

By definition, a Lone Wolf has no friends so we are left with the nagging question of why the name has significance. Perhaps Lone Wolf’s friends are his previous artistic incarnations and although he alone created this work, those earlier versions were there to encourage his creative drive. We are never truly loners, are we?

Deep techno, sometimes nostalgic and melancholic: that what Zooloft Records is. Giorgio Gigli and Francesco Baudazzi (Obtane), balancing soul and body, give birth to intense storytelling through sound, enhanced by an intimate reflection about childhood innocence.

Introspection is driven by a vein of subtle and rarefied nihilism, pervaded in each release. Project's graphics evoke the idea of abstract thoughts written on blank paper, where shadows meet memories.

A cafe in Paris, a cocktail lounge in Palm Springs, a beachside bar in Rio De Janeiro, a lokanta in Istanbul. Jill Barber’s French repertoire is played around the world and has earned her a following that transcends language barriers. Her music has become the soundtrack to an experience. It is a surprising achievement for an anglophone artist who only began her affair with the French language in her late twenties, following a moment during the Montreal Jazz Festival, where she sang a few notes of French to an enraptured crowd. Inspired by their reaction, Jill enrolled herself in an immersive French school in the South of France, eventually emerging with her own recordings of the songs and poets that inspired her most: Piaf, Gainsbourg, Aznavour. The album "Chansons" was released in 2013 and has since become Jill's most globally successful record to date, having been streamed over 120 million times - with more than 35 million listens in the past year alone. A full decade later, Jill has reunited with Grammy Award-nominated producer Drew Jurecka and the musicians that accompanied her on "Chansons" to produce "ENCORE!", its long-awaited sequel. "ENCORE!" is a delightfully arranged and lushly orchestrated album, featuring all new interpretations of classic songs by Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet, Blossom Dearie, Django Reinhardt, Robert Charlebois, Josephine Baker, and Barbara. “For me, singing in French is an embodied, sensual experience… it’s a new language in which to explore and express myself artistically- and be vulnerable.” The French have a saying for a particularly pleasurable sensation that is so unique, it’s difficult to put into words- when Jill Barber sings in French, there is a pleasing quality, a “Je ne sais quoi” that is hard to describe, but easy to enjoy. "Upon at attempt to repair a broken DAT machine that was in storage for over 20 years, to Maaco's surprise there was a DAT tape still lodged inside! So what would one do? Of course pop that bad boy in a working machine and see what's on it! Enlightened by tracks that he hadn't heard in over 20-25 years, he's excited to share these once forgotten tracks with the world! It's with great pleasure for M.A.P. to introduce to you, the throwback tracks from the vault!!!"

This record blends a love of techno, sampling, and live recording into an aggressive and thoughtful electronic tape. First sounds pressed to wax by Troy Schwab, wearing his influences on his sleeve. More to come in the future from his catalog.

Yosuke Yamashita, Itaru Oki, Yuji Ohno, and Kimiko Kasai. An astonishing jazz workshop with a never-before-seen encounter. Japanese jazz was so sharp and original.

Yosuke Yamashita Trio, Itaru Oki Trio, Yuji Ohno Trio, and Kimiko Kasai. Three trios and one vocalist, Trio by Trio Plus One. This is a live recording of a jazz workshop held in 1970, and the original was released as part of Victor's "Japanese Jazz" series. Just looking at the lineup of musicians gives off an extraordinary atmosphere, making this a special work.

Yamashita was a leading figure in the scene as the darling of the times. Oki came to Tokyo from Osaka in the mid-1960s and attracted attention. Ohno was a man of supple musicality who played everything from modern jazz to new jazz. And Kasai is just about to blossom. Needless to say, each performance is powerful and fascinating, but this album also features a performance by a unique seven-person group consisting of the Oki Trio, Ohno Trio, and Kasai. This is a two-disc set of super-class that reminds us once again just how original Japanese jazz was.

Gerd returns to his own Frame Of Mind imprint with another fine selection of tracks. The breakbeat-driven groove of "Brave New Era" aside, all tracks offer different perspectives on early Motor City techno and house. Gerd is showcasing his love for metallic FM-synthesis driven sounds once again. Deep, moody and uplifting.
