GAZELLE TWIN - aka composer, producer, singer, and visual artist Elizabeth Bernholz - has scored Sky's brand new TV series "Then You Run".

Created for television by Ben Chanan (The Capture), based on the novel YOU by Zoran Drvenkar, Then You Run follows four rebellious London teenagers on a city getaway to Rotterdam. This contemporary eight-part series boasts an incredible cast of rising stars; Leah McNamara (Normal People) as Tara, Vivian Oparah (Rye Lane) as Stink, Yasmin Monet Prince (Hanna) as Ruth and newcomer Isidora Fairhurst as Nessi.

The four friends embark on what should have been the perfect summer break which soon spirals into a dark and perilous adventure. When their attempt to take on some of the most dangerous people in Europe doesn’t quite go to plan, they find themselves on the run with three kilos of heroin, more questions than answers about Tara’s family, and a gang of deadly criminals tracking their every move.

After the success of the earlier releases, The TFunk Collective teams up with Atomphunk for his debut track for Regulate Recordings on the labels fifth release. Atomphunk has deep house roots and productions on labels such as Toko Records, 3AM Recordings, Deepfunk Records (USA) and more recently Manuscript Records and he brings his A game to the flip side for this release.

‘Since I fell for you’ takes its influence from classic 90s street soul. It blends classic horns, phat drums, a Jupiter synth base line, delicious keys, all layered with a delightful vocal to create an upbeat summer anthem.

‘Come Boogie’ has a classic 70s disco vibe with its infectious brass and strings driven along by solid drums and a funky rhythm guitar and a squelchy bass line.

Former Mind & Matter bandmates James "Jimmy Jam" Harris and Michael Dixon teamed up for 1978's gospel-boogie banger "You're All I Need" b/w "You're Everything" on the private Mad label.

Third Man Records is delighted to present Michael Kiwanuka's contribution to the TMR Blue Series of releases. Kiwanuka, a 25 year-old UK native of Ugandan heritage, was raised in north London where he split his time between session work and local gigs. Along the way, having found footing as a solo artist, he was signed to Communion Records, then Polydor, and has since performed throughout Europe and North America too—touring in direct support of Adele. He made his way through Nashville this past summer with just enough pause and aplomb to commit these morsels to tape. The A-side "You've Got Nothing to Lose" is an original composition, featuring The Buzzards' Dominic Davis on upright bass and Cory Younts on piano, joined also by fellow balladeer Lillie Mae Rische on fiddle. Their contributions transform his work into a stone-cold groove with almost orchestral underpinnings, making it a fitting extension of their previous Blue Series. PRODUCED by Jack White (not collaborated with, so please fight your every urge to put "collaborator" in your headline!), the single also features a chilling rendition of Townes Van Zandt's infamous "Waitin' 'Round to Die" on the B-side, the perfect compliment to the timbre and mood of the A-side.

Oneself, psych rock band, Clarke performing live with a drumstick in hand, guitar

rhythm laid underneath, with C&TH, she takes basement rock fuzz, pop precision,
molten neo-psych, weirdo gutter punk while singing exception art/psych damage
pop songs.

'In The Moment That You're Born' features 10 never released songs, and all the lyrics were solely written by the late Shawn Smith, exception made for Stars N’ You, (originally written by Andy Wood of Mother Love Bone and Malfunkshun for the Deep Six Compilation). Barrett Jones plays piano on "Meadow in Autumn", while Hans Teuber plays horns and keys on various other tracks. The album was self-produced by Brad, and recorded and mixed by Floyd Reitsma at Studio Litho in Seattle (except for "In The Moment That You're Born," which was mixed by Josh Evans). The artwork was cured and crafted by Regan Hagar with the addition of pictures taken by Lance Mercer. Bobbie Nelsons musikalische Karriere reicht bis in die 1940er Jahre zurück. Als begnadete Pianistin spielte sie in Kirchen, Revival Tents, Konzertsälen und Honky-Tonks und schloss sich schließlich in den frühen 70er Jahren der Family Band ihres Bruders Willie Nelson an. Shires und Nelson taten sich 2021 zusammen, um in den Arlyn Studios in Austin, Texas, Aufnahmen zu machen - eine Einrichtung, die von Nelsons Sohn Freddy Fletcher mitgeleitet und betrieben wird. Johnnie Taylor is revered as one of the all time great Soul singers. He replaced Sam Cooke as the lead singer of the Soul Stirrers and started recording as a solo artist in the early 60's. In 1966 he signed to Stax records where he recorded these two in demand exciting Raw Soul gems.
'Ain't That Loving You' from 1966 is a fantastic two step mid tempo ballad and has been an in demand cut for many years, original UK copies now sell for up to £100. It is the original version of the track later recorded by Luther Ingram, Alton Ellis, Dennis Brown and others.
'Blues in The Night' from 1967 is an up tempo R&B Dancer popular on the Northern Soul scene which was originally issued on a hard to find French EP which also sells for over £100.
These two great tracks are paired together on a 45 for the first time with a specially designed label which reflects their 60s origins. This single is sure to be snapped up by DJ's and collectors.
