In the early 1990s, Frankfurt stood at the forefront of a rapidly evolving electronic music landscape, where the raw energy of EBM and New Beat was mutating into the earliest forms of techno. Emerging from this fertile environment, Noise Control delivered “Modulator E.P.” in 1992—an overlooked yet striking document of that transitional moment.

Following their earlier releases, “Operation S.B.” (1989, New Zone) and “My Flight” (1989, Zoth Ommog), “Modulator E.P.” marked the project's return and a clear progression towards a more stripped-down, club-oriented sound. Originally issued as the first release on the short-lived Neo Ego label, the EP captures a style in flux, moving between industrial body rhythms, early techno structures and acid-inflected sequences, reflecting the hybrid character of the German electronic underground at the time.

Limited to 300 copies on black vinyl and 200 copies on violet transparent vinyl, this reissue presents all four original tracks in full, alongside the highly sought-after Razormaid remix of “Tehniska Musika”.

An intriguing combination of positive, joyful atmosphere and gritty, pushy sound aesthetic spans all over the record. "The Show" and its euphorigenic rising stabs appears like what could be transformed into an Euro Dance anthem easily.
Yet the aware and well curated production holds it firmly in the zone of Techno and House underground. Speaking House, here's "In Mein Glas" - a sportive track with an irresistible bounce foiled by a lackadaisical vocal line, which gives it a comic twist.
As "Fieber" keeps the bounce we're getting a little more aggressive again: a delicate distortion, a dominant bass and a groovy drive. In all these 3 original tracks it's the melange of melodic motives, vocal highlights, crispy production as well as versatile creative details, which creates this specific sound that gets you hooked. It is lightness however wrapped in an Industrial musical language.

That said, the remixes proof how a new energy can be revealed by more minimal re-interpretations. Nastia Reigel, getting hands on "The Show", pushes drums and a fresh rhythmic play of vocal chops into the foreground. A sparse break followed by a powerful drop adds a strong climax. Norbak's approach on "In Mein Glas" takes the melodic motive and embeds it into a dubby space, not giving up on the hard-hitting kick.

A new vinyl release on the Cenobite label

Golden Earring were together between 1961 and 2021, and their last and best known line-up included two founding members George Kooymans (vocals and guitar) and Rinus Gerritsen (bass, keyboard) along with Barry Hay (vocals, guitar, flute and saxophone) a member since 1968 and Cesar Zuiderwijk (drums) a member since 1970.

They had over 40 hits and released 30 albums, many achieving either gold or platinum status in their home country, The Netherlands. They are best known for their 1973 hit single "Radar Love" and their 1982 single "Twilight Zone".

Around 1992, the unplugged sessions on MTV were a trend; almost every rock band or artist was doing them. Bass player Rinus Gerritsen suggested to record an acoustic album themselves. The record company wasn't very enthusiastic at first so with a small budget the band recorded the album live in an intimate cafe in Amsterdam. The Naked Truth turned out to be the Golden Earring's best selling album.

The Naked Truth is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on purple vinyl. The 2LP is packaged in a deluxe sleeve with linen laminate finish and includes an insert.

Following the exploratory framework of Closer Now, Everlasting Flame sees Bartosz Kruczyński aka Earth Trax moving further into introspection, embracing a more experimental language that drifts between ambient abstraction and rhythm-driven forms.

The album unfolds through cold, shimmering atmospheres and submerged low-end structures, navigating a subtle tension between melancholy and propulsion. Its sonic palette remains fluid, shifting between hazy ambient passages, dub-inflected textures and more fractured, bass-driven moments, while maintaining a strong sense of cohesion throughout.

A defining element of the record lies in its contrasts: low, brooding pads and diffused beats are set against piercing high-end details, distant vocal fragments and flashes of raw, distorted intensity. This interplay creates a sound world that feels at once fragile and forceful, intimate yet expansive, with a persistent sense of longing running beneath the surface.

With Everlasting Flame, Earth Trax continues to move beyond strictly club-oriented structures, shaping a body of work that exists in a liminal space between functionality and free-form expression — immersive, textural and emotionally resonant. A record that lingers in the in-between, where rhythm dissolves into atmosphere and emotion takes the lead.

Planar Traits adds to the Spectral Bounce catalog with SPEC08: Distance EP. Since 2021 the Stockholm-based artist’s creations have combined evocative soundscapes with dancefloor functionality. Here he steps up with four hydrographic cuts spanning the groove-led, the mysterious and the cerebral.

Beginning the expedition with the type of psychedelic and lithe tech-house for which Spectral Bounce is known, the A-side is glistening with aquatic shimmer. “Variations in Hue” and “Distance” are club cuts embellished with mystical melodies and sonar pulses, both propelled by chunky drums and driving sub frequencies.

The B-side goes deeper, revealing a more contemplative zone in which soft echoes of Detroit (“Bloom”) are spliced with 1990s Artificial Intelligence sensibilities (“Never-ending Light”). A perfect soundtrack for living room transcendence, as much as pelagic immersion.

Frenchman Franck Roger is as consistent as any of the deep house greats we have all loved and appreciated for many years. He returns to Seasons Limited with another EP of perfectly timeless sounds to back that up. Bill Converse should be a household name in every head’s abode. He’s been DJing live with 3+ turntables since he was a teenager, always under the same name. Unfathomably envious record collection. Your favorite DJ’s as well as very likely your favorite DJ. Whether it is DJing or a live set, his presentation is head-spinning, hard-edged but hypnotic. His avalanching drum programming is as recognizable as Coltrane’s timbre. His records have been released on Dark Entries, Fit Sound, Texas Recordings Underground, Tabernacle Records, Immortal Sin, Acid Test, Feral Colony and Obsolete Future. Now Fixed Rhythms presents a 2×12” pack of Bill’s characteristically bewildering excellence.

The first 12” has four cuts. Woozy, heavy, bombastic machine workout opener “Stress Test” followed by the tension peaking sustainer “ZoneZone” on the A side. On the B side, “770” brings us to a new place of plucky bass lines and unconventionally tuned drum workouts, with “lure me” closing the first 12” with flexing low-end, percussive stabs syncopated with heavy snaredrum riffing.

Where does this music come from? Although you hear the decades of Midwest techno, jacking Chicago house, brain-tickling Warp Records cuts, and his dizzying skills as a DJ in the brew, his sound is uniquely Bill’s. The second 12” peels back the curtain a bit more, as the C and D side are two extended cuts from his live set at 2024’s Jackie O’Body Vol. 2 in Denton, Texas. We here at the label were at that gig. Pure energy. Sexy distortion. Rhythms that made you scream. After the set, the room erupted in a chant of “BILL! BILL! BILL!”. Dear reader, witness the power of Bill Converse’s raw, overdriven, drummy, jack house tech madness!

The Goblin Walk is an invitation to trace the footsteps of the eponymous creature through five swampy, dubby, liquid techno interpretations from four different artists. Label head Caldera opens with the gently underlapping space chug of 'Today', followed by Traevor's 'Reef' which turns marimba into a dubbed-out bass meditation. Caldera then features again under his Loop LF alias with 'Tiz', which pairs spectral sonic sketches with whimsical melodies that drift and float as if in a gravity-free zone. Streetfaxx then unearths a long-lost 2013 Cologne track, its patient rhythmic progression untouched by the passing years, before ambient textures take centre stage in Nightwaif's 'Xmas1 (vocal dub)' as tape experiments float over deep sub-bass, caught somewhere between 1980s new age and modern ambient minimalism. A compelling, exploratory world of sound.

For this edition, the label meets this duo of producers, that has been created by the musical synergy between Zonker and Daniel Gorziza, who go by the name – “SameSame”. This disc has been titled “Unconditional Society” and has been crafted with a mission to be brought to the worldwide dancefloors and to be foreseen by the adepts of the sound it conveys. The A side is opening with a deep trancey burner “Suspect Zero”, with time passing this side of the record is morphing into the prime-time speaker ripping sound of “Rip the Jacker. The B side will see more mellow feel to it and sometimes even could be said that the vibe turns relatively melancholic by the time the record reaches its natural conclusion. The words that have been shared do not translate the profoundness of the subject that the artists have carried through, but then again, sometimes them letters have to be present even if they are kept to the slightest. The frequencies communicate much superior to the words and by now you can stop reading this and immerse yourself into the sound.

Artist, painter, curator Leo Vincent, is fired up off the back of supporting Soulwax, on their recent Paris and Netherlands shows. Proudly presenting two debut songs “Hello it’s me again” and “Loving isn’t easy”, co-produced with the brothers, David & Stephen Dewaele, of Soulwax/2manydjs.

Seven years ago, Leo Vincent bluffed his way into a video editing job at DEEWEE. Despite being told to not touch or ruin their gear, he later resurfaced with demos that sounded like he had anyway.

Brussels-based, failed goalkeeper-turned-painter-turned-cameraman-turned-musician Leo, doesn’t seem to be afraid to leave his faders in the red zone for an unorthodox period of time while repairing the pitch knob. Some say it’s disco for night janitors. Some say it’s glam-rock for ravers. Others haven’t found the time to listen yet because they have real jobs.

Finally, O R G A S M A N I A stands as the centerpiece — hypnotic, sensual and immersive, locking into a deep repetitive groove while evolving in subtle layers, a late-night body experience guided by a sharp musical mind. Across four tracks, Byron The Aquarius confirms his unique position between jazz musician, house producer and sonic storyteller, with a trajectory spanning Sound Signature, Axis, Eglo, Apron and Shall Not Fade, continuing to resonate from Detroit to Berlin and beyond. Exieve, a young producer from Chernihiv, continues the attack with a raw tension where vocals cut through the signal like sharp fragments. It's been more than ten years since Rolando debuted with his sought after self-titled EP on 030303 and it is thrilling to see the producer - who has always managed to remain a sort of best kept secret, admired only by the heads - still surf those high waves of creativity. Lifephorce is bound to be an instant classic, leaving instant marks on the listener's soul with unsettling yet mesmerising chord changes, a heavy throbbing bassline and generally a deep, introspective outlook on the dancefloor. WRWTFWW Records is extremely excited to announce the first ever vinyl release for Pizza Hotline’s brilliant 2022 full-length Level Select, originally only released on cassette and digital. The liquid drum & bass meets Y2K era video gaming aesthetics monster is now available in a limited edition transparent vinyl double LP with a glorious 45rpm cut, packaged in a heavyweight 350gsm sleeve.

Entirely written and composed by UK producer Pizza Hotline (apart from "GLACIER ZONE", a collaboration between Pizza Hotline and DJ Total 90), the stellar 8-song album was initially released as a limited cassette in January 2022 and quickly gained cult status - making a full-on vinyl release quite the necessity. It’s here now with the the previously unreleased track "POLYGON DREAMSCAPE" (which sounds as magical as its title) and 45rpm cut for louder, bigger, deeper bass rumbling.

Spellbinding, atmospheric, and beautifully melodic, Level Select is a large scope dreamy adventure of liquid DnB filled with ambient escapades, ethereal jungle, high vibe breaks, and a heavy loving dose of late 90s / early 2000s video game influences. Mutant Volt emerges from the depths of the underworld with Bona Vista, a six track EP built from unreleased DAT recordings made during the early 90s. Drawn from a vast archive, much of the material had been long forgotten, written at a time when electronic music moved fast and rarely looked back.

Mutant Volt is one of several aliases used by Dan Piu, whose roots sit firmly in early European rave and club culture. The name was originally used to explore a stripped, machine driven sound shaped by early trance structures and bleep influence. Aside from a single release on Superluminal in 2020, much of this material has remained unheard. Recorded on a hardware setup that has changed little since 1991, the tracks were made instinctively and left behind to gather dust.

Today the tracks carry a different kind of weight. What was once made quickly and left behind now feels immediate, proof that some music does not belong to the past, it simply arrives there first.
