In recognition, the rightsholders, their families, and the label have commissioned Detroit-based contemporary artist Matthew Angelo Harrison to re-conceptualize the covers of Tresor's Drexciya-related catalogue. These editions will be released sequentially, bimonthly, starting early-September 2022.

The series starts with Neptune's Lair, first released in 1999, with the Hydro Doorways single arriving shortly after. In November, Harnessed The Storm and Digital Tsunami are coming. In 2023 comes the release of Transllusion in February. The series is completed by the long-awaited re-release of Shifted Phases - The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope - at the end of March.

After the re-release of Drexciya's 'Neptune's Lair' and Transllusion's 'The Opening of the Cerebral Gate', 'Harnessed the Storm' is the third album in Tresor Records' great Drexciya reissue program.
Originally released in 2002, 'Harnessed the Storm' was conceived as the opening chapter of the legendary Seven Storms - a series of seven albums created within a single year and released via several labels under different names. 'Harnessed the Storm' was the sole one in the series credited under the main Drexciya project.
The album, which is considered to be one of the pair's darkest, was produced in a time of creative outbreak and emotional turbulence. The duo's confidence was at a peak, new techniques revolutionized musical production, but the duo also had to face Stinson's severe health issues. This led to a radical shift of pace in producing and releasing music. For the Detroit pair it was time to move on from their ground-breaking past. It was time for some shape shifting and wave jumping to occur, in Drexciya's terms.

Classic Drexciyan dance floor moment like 'Digital Tsunami' is considered as the signature track of the 'Harnessed the Storm' album. It is accompanied here by three titles that are not present on the 2LP vinyl version of the album.

First part of the Drexciya re-issue series! Drexciya might need an introduction for some, for others it is the most influential techno project ever. Part of the heritage of Detroit's Underground Resistance, Drexciya explored techno music like no-one else before. Raw and uncompromising music that reflects the harsh environment of the city where Drexciya was conceived. The aesthetics and the mythical approach combined with the unique music made this one of the biggest cult projects in techno music. Drexciya arguably stands for the darker side of techno and electro, music not only made for the club scene, but a further development of the music as an expression and extension of the mind. 20 years after the release of ''Deep Sea Dweller'' (their first release), and 10 years after ''Grava 4'' (their last), we present ''Journey Of The Deep Sea Dweller''. This series is an almost complete collection of their early works, and is remastered from the original master tapes. Since the original releases have such a strong character, appeal and stand on their own, this re-issue can never re-create the magic of those originals. So instead we stirred up the catalogue taking the tracks out of their original context, giving the 'in the know' listener a fresh experience and the new listener a document that is the best possible introduction to the aquatic world of Drexciya.

Clone Classic Cuts continues their re-issues series for one of the most influential techno acts ever... Drexciya. The second selection of tracks including favorites such as ''Bang-Bang'', ''Positron Island'', ''Anti Vapour Waves'' and ''Journey Home'' complimented some lesser or unknown tracks. Raw, uncompromising music made with soul and creativity always has been the trademark of Drexciya (and also from their original label Underground Resistance) and this album is another showcase of their talents.

Drexciya presents Grava 4. Earth has finally discovered Utopia. (Drexciya Home Universe) Earth scientist discovered the home planet of Drexciya on 2-14-2002. Within moments Dr. Blowfin was given the orders to initiate the seven dimensional cloaking-spheres to hide the other three planets from earths view. The star chart is authentic; you will be able to find the star by using the coordinations on the star chart. The planet Drexciya can be found in the international star vault in Switzerland & recorded in the astronomical compendium.

New full-length album from Posthuman, veering deeper into electro and leftfield territory than usual. The A side opens with the Drexciyan ‘What U Need’ then straight into the Rother-style machine funk of Test 14 and Reps, through to the downtempo dubby closer of Torus Dreams. "There are records that move between genres and records that dissolve them into something with no clean name. Tomb is the second kind. Eight tracks from Maltese producer OS 1R 1S, where Detroit electro, dub and braindance are pulled through a sonic elixir, so specific, that the genre tags become a formality. As Digital Empathy's third outing, Tomb, cements the label's 'sinister futurism' ethos in its sharpest form yet. The lore is its own document: a Dantesque collapse, a young Malassian psyche fractured by events on Terra, a landscape where all water has been replaced by coke. An angelic Unipolan risks immortality to pass one message through - 'all axioms are false in this system'. 'RIP' opens with illbient dread of early Actress, 'St. Peter' pulls a Drexciyan chassis under metres of dub, 'False Axioms' time-shifts in a thematic unresolved structure, and 'Misplaced Prayer', a floor-track with enough mid-range distortion that can hallucinate spiral engravings. That OS 1R 1S originates from Malta, home to the oldest standing stone structures on earth, sits exactly right in the record's ritualistic undertones. For heads of the negative space of Stingray, the unnerving melodies of Terrence Dixon, but none of the comfort of knowing exactly where you are."

Despite building their careers out of strikingly different musical places, both dBridge and Radioactive Man have taken influence from the field in which each other operate. dBridge (Darren White) was part of the iconic drum & bass outfit Bad Company and he helms one of the scene's most solid and quality imprints in Exit Records and Radioactive Man (Keith Tenniswood) was born from the acid house scene and the off kilter electronics of his Two Lone Swordsman projects (alongside Andrew Weatherall) which led him to create his decidedly UK take on Drexciyan electro. It's by no means a stretch to learn that both producers have crates that contain their favourites from each genre but they've also found a mutual respect and connection in the studio over the last few years, leading to the dBRm moniker for Craig Richards' The Nothing Special label.

What began as a pandemic-era radio show on Openlab FM and Ralph Lawson's sonic escape hatch into distant electro worlds has since become a consistent home for the genre. Exit Planet Earth returns from hiatus with a new chapter, and Manchester's Jonny Strinati, aka Kalcagni, is the ideal artist to reopen the transmission. Already well-versed in the EPE universe through the radio show and releases on Cosmoba and Distrito 91, Strinati drops relentless machine beats, intricate synth programming that references all forms of electro from Kraftwerk to Drexciya, with dynamic bass and cinematic designs. It's an intergalactic mind trip as much as a dance floor workout and the production is next level. Welcome back!

Fabricated and refined over the last few years, 'Cicada Burnt' is Leo's most kinetic offering to date, a suite of freewheeling percussive experiments that situate themselves furtively in the murky musical backdrop of northern England. Each track crackles and pulses with rust-caked post-industrial energy, shifting, shaking and convulsing from Sheffield through Rochdale all the way to Salford, merging hallucinatory polyrhythms with grimy bassline memories, overdriven D&B rasps with dembow syncopations and squelchy acid sequences with eerie cybernetic pads. 'Cicada Burnt' is, at its core, vintage electro for dancers, shaped from the remnants of 16-step drum machine cycles and neck-snapping two-note basses, but Leo works into that raw material by hand with the benefit of time and distance, tweaking and twisting the rhythms to blur the line between a spectrum of overlapping club expressions.

Leo's third album proper, the record follows a run of infamous deployments for Manchester's YOUTH and Tom Boogizm's $hotta Tapes that have already established him as a skilled sound designer who's able to bolt from spiky hardcore to Drexciyan techno without breaking a sweat. And 'Cicada Burnt' materialized as he sharpened his live set, playing routinely at cult Manchester institutions The White Hotel, N/OM and Impiety Hour (fka Peste) against visuals from Sean Clarke, who also handles the album's artwork. It's this context that lends the album its dynamic energy; long before Leo established himself as a producer he was a drummer, and there's a similar dexterity to his structures as twitchy sequences evolve into impromptu fills and veer off the expected grid. Live electronic music is too often bogged down by lofty concepts and technical limitations, so Leo beds the bullshit, zeroing in on the groove itself.

He unhurriedly presents his raw sounds on 'Qwershape', stressing swinging hits and doom-y bass smacks that echo through recent history. Filling the negative space with dubwise feedback trails and prickly melodic remnants, Leo establishes a tableau where rhythm is confidently in the foreground. And that mood is only cultivated further on 'Jetti', via a roll of unstable syncopated kicks and fractal Detroit-via-Sheffield pads that Leo smudges almost beyond recognition, creating a mercurial feet-forward techno hybrid that breathes damp Northern air. The title track meanwhile singles out D&B's most ominous qualities, retaining the retching distortion while rejecting the usual aggression. But it's on the two 'Spirit Level' tracks that Leo really gets to flex, using the slow-burning prescript to establish his unexpected Ligeti-like theme before introducing a whirring, constantly-shifting rhythm that bends in on itself like a möbius strip.

It closes an album that ties the UK's complex club music narrative in knots without ever ripping it from its roots. And at a time when the scene is being transformed and co-opted by malign gentrifying forces hell-bent on cheap nostalgia, 'Cicada Burnt' serves as a timely reminder of the lively and eccentric working class dancehalls and nightclubs where it all began.

Glasgow’s Fortified Audio returns after at least a ten years long hiatus (No pun intended) and now returns to the world of bass with a full length album from local music firestarter Ten Years Lost. Modern day trap instrumentals at its core whilst sub-consciously giving hints of Drexciya, Moroder and the Memphis & Croydon bass music regions alongside some real deft sampling but still remains Glasgow at its core!

The Libra LP finds DJ Dex searching for the perfect balance on the dancefloor. "Freeks N' Geeks" is a shameless party anthem asking dancers to get their geek and their freak on with stomping kick drums, percussion, acid funk, and hands-in-the-air horns. "Papa Was a 909" reinvents a classic Motown anthem via a relentless 909 drum machine workout. "Hoodrat" pays homage to Detroit minimalism and Chicago jack—doubles are essential for the creative DJ. "The Balance" merges an 808 kit with clever percussion, melodic chords, and sci-fi synths for a tense, building track ready for peak-time action. "Casa Oscura" takes equal inspiration from hi-NRG disco tracks and the funkiest aquatic synths of Drexciya for a vibe entirely its own. "Astrological" is the LP's polyrhythmic, thumping, big-room techno cut where cascading synth lines meet atmospheric pads and vocal samples.

The music producer from Girls of the Internet steps away from the band and messes around with synths & samplers - resulting in a smorgasbord of styles and influences from UR, Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works, Andrew Wetherall's Bloodsugar, string-laden Detroit Techno, Drexciya, Microhouse, Underworld, and some oddball house stylings.

DVS NME is a Colorado-based Electro producer and DJ originally from Southern California. Active since 1999, he crafts stark, machine-driven music rooted in analog hardware and recorded live in single takes. Influenced by Drexciya, AUX88, and Anthony Rother, his sound blends dystopian textures with precise rhythm programming. He’s released music on respected underground labels like Solar One Music, Transient Force, and Ukonx Recordings, and now Future Tones Rcoeds. A key advocate for the genre, he also curates the long-running Dark Science Electro podcast, supporting global Electro since 2010.

1. Beam
A slow-burning opener built around a TR-606 groove, chopped vocal fragments, and delicate string flourishes. At 116 BPM, it's the most restrained cut on the EP—staccato and skeletal, but quietly emotional.

2. Carveout
Driven by a classic four-on-the-floor pulse, "Carveout" rides a surging bassline and tightly layered synths. Functional on the surface, but subtle shifts in tone give it depth beneath the structure.

3. Debt Trap
The most club-oriented track on the record. With a jerky low-end and nimble 606 programming, "Debt Trap" combines dancefloor impact with off-kilter synth work that refuses to settle.

4. Ratchet Effect
A standout cut that channels DVS NME's signature sound—sharp, modular arpeggios, machine-funk rhythms, and intricate modulation. At once clinical and soulful, it’s the EP’s most complex and defining moment.

5. Land Reform
TB-303 acid lines coil around melodic string pads and skittering hi-hats in this mid-tempo closer. "Land Reform" balances raw rhythmic motion with introspective synth textures, ending the record on a reflective note.

In recent years, Blackploid has come to be one of Central Processing Unit's signature artists. The German producer has averaged more than a record a year for the Sheffield imprint since he first landed on CPU in 2021. This prolific run continues withCosmic Drama, Blackploid's second LP for the label. The album takes the baton from its predecessorEnter Universein style, delivering twelve tracks of top-quality machine-funk that draw down from electro's classic artists while also imbuing proceedings with a playfulness that very much gives things a signature Blackploid-ish flavour.

Cosmic Dramasets its stall out from the off. The opening run of 'Alien', 'World Construction' and 'Virtual State' all deliver piston-snapping beats which anchor pleasing melanges of B-movie synth lines. Alongside this, Blackploid adds little flourishes which add buoyancy to each joint - a syncopated bassline reminiscent of I-f's late-90s classic 'Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass', crackling robo-voiced commands, skittering synth chords which wash across the mix and so on. It's the work of someone completely at ease with their craft, comfortable enough to take risks without upsetting the apple cart of their sound's core appeal.

Blackploid's idiosyncratic approach to synth work is something which distinguishesCosmic Dramafrom the pack. Electro has long been a genre which prides itself on innovation on the keys, but few producers are willing to push their sonics as far as Blackploid does - take the seasick churn of pads and processors on 'Multiverse', for instance, or the way John Carpenter-esque single-note lines dovetail with gurgling synthetic pulses and eerie, spacious chords on 'The Lab', a highlight ofCosmic Drama's midsection.

Cosmic Dramaskips along at club tempo throughout - every one of these joints will get bodies moving in dark rooms across the galaxy. However, even when tracks maintain their single-minded pursuit of machine-funk perfection, they never forget to deliver on the hooks. Blackploid has lead lines (and counter-melodies) to burn here, and each track knots them together in ever-more intriguing ways as they plough onwards. Drexciyan heads will be thrilled by the sci-fi delights of 'Species', for instance, while Blackploid brings melodies as cold as they are catchy on the aptly-named 'Polar Dunes'. By the timeCosmic Dramahits upon the vroom-vrooming bassline line of closer 'Contact', you're fully enthralled to the album's combination of broken-beat heft and synthetic melodiousness.

Lust Pattern slithers its way to Dark Entries with four tracks of deviant electro-wave on Stand, Scatter. Ryan Armbridge has graced Dark Entries several times via his project Linea Aspera, a revered coldwave revivalist duo with Zoe Zanias. As Lust Pattern, Armbridge draws hypnotic paths through the reverb-laden halls of post-punk and electro-funk, coursing in a gait uniquely his own. Built up from improvised jams, the four cuts on Stand, Scatter defy neat categorization while spanning a wide breadth of genres. Opener “Forming Lines” features Drexciyan squelch, silky guitar, and bursts of live drumming; this sounds like a lot, but it coheres into a perfectly simmering stew of funk. “Choreography” preserves the aquatic vibes but bumps the tempo up into space disco territory, complete with laser bleeps and Moroder-esque pads. It’s a mark of Armbridge’s craft that closing track “No Floor” - a searing motorik synth punk jam that recalls Suicide at their finest - sounds not at all out of place, but rather serves as a logical conclusion to this illogical picture. Stand, Scatter drifts across genres but never loses its focus on the unorthodox groove.

As a DJ, Photonz grew a reputation for deep crates and intensely euphoric sets and in 2017, together with Violet (co-founder at his Radio Quantica) and Lisbon's own Rabbit Hole collective, he started the now infamous Mina parties - a monthly, sex-positive, queer and intersectional-feminist techno party aimed at using the dissociative potential of intense raving to create a temporary space of suspension away from patriarchal expectations. 'Nuit' is Photonz?s debut album and a simultaneous reference the Egyptian Goddess of the Stars or Night. Marco was really swept away by the concept of ?freedom of form under the night sky?, the accepting embrace of Nuit. Ancestral, but also socially advanced and utopian; a deification of the night time. Etheric Body Music is Photonz's debut 6-track EP for Dark Entries and a simultaneous reference to hermeticism and EBM (Electronic Body Music). Marco loves that 'aesthetic when 80s industrial and EBM bands split up and start to make trance in the early 90s and all the ritual magick pushes them to zen stuff and they do ecstasy.' There's this concept in theosophy and hermetic philosophy of the Etheric Body, which is an energy body superimposed and connected to the physical body, similar to the acupuncture idea of an energetic body. That idea manifests itself as six primal club cuts, which also channel early techno, Drexciyan rhythms, balearic & old school jack. Raw arpeggiated synth lines and bass blast jut against metallic stabs and highly percussive shakedowns to create mournful atmospheric warped house. Cron is a project where Todd Sines focused on his long-running passion for electro music by exploring a specific set of machines composed of a Synton Vocoder SPX216, a Yamaha DX 100 and an Arp Avatar in a vibe completely different from his .xtrak alias or productions released under his own name.

The record visual presentation was equally important as it features 3-D objects created Todd Sines through intentional misuse of mathematical functions, creating unique forms and 'scalable architectures'.

Cute Heels is the project of Victor Lenis, a contemporary electronic artist living in Berlin, Germany. He grew up in Bogotá, Columbia during the 1990s, surrounded by the radial punk scene. Over the years, Victor's passion and fascination for synthesizers and drum machines to produce and compose resulted in his debut album 'Spiritual" for Dark Entries in 2014 as well as the Third Skin' EP in 2016. Inspired by equal parts Liaisons Dangereuses, Drexciya and Black Devil Disco Club, Cute Heels connects the dots between Detroit techno, early Chicago house and Belgium electronic body music.State of Mind' is a 4-track EP featuring the vocal talents of Berlin artist Aga Wilk, of electro-punk projects Walkman Music and 77TM, on the the title track. On the A-side are two fresh compositions recorded in New York and Bogota between 2016 and 2017. Victor says, 'State of Mind refers to the subconscious as dominated by real facts, natural, unnatural ,metaphysical or virtual and dynamism of the body as physical shield.' The track is a slow building foray into techno, elegantly suited for intangible moments. 'Golden Tears' kicks off with Cute Heels' signature metallic EBM funk played with punchy, percussive analog synths. On the flip we present two banging club remixes. The first is from LA-4A, techno DJ and producer Kevin McHugh aka Ambivalent, who adds a strong kick drum and lacerating hi-hats that build up to a mind melting breakdown with a full on acid squelch attack. The second remix comes from Noncompliant, Midwest US-based producer Lisa Smith aka DJ Shiva, who creates a raw, thumping exercise though off-kilter mechanics and punishing percussion. All songs have been mastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The record comes in a custom-made die-cut jacket designed by Eloise Leigh featuring suggestive rope bondage graphic printed spot black matte on black hi-gloss finish. Each copy includes a postcard.

Spoiled Drama reemerges exhibiting their darker side on "This is Our Mission", their debut on the label embodiment of Berlin's Fleisch collective. The five track EP exhibits a unique range and dexterity, blurring lines between the realms of techno, EBM, acid and electro with a touch of maladjusted pop and post-punk. From the anxious beat and shimmering tones of "Another Death Experience" to the ritualistic war drums and heavily distorted vocals of "Kisses Are Out of Fashion", expect to feel dizzied, unnerved, yet beckoned to move. The eponymous track closes out the EP in an undeniably Drexciyan fashion, low-pitched vocals emerging from watery depths in lush sweeping pads and dissonant melodies.
